    In this episode of "What the Feels", we are talking about the series, "From the stars in the Sky to the Fish in the Sea" with fellow friend and therapist, Miriam Kolni.

    Miriam Kolni, LMFT (she/her) is an affirming therapist who specializes in working with those in the LGBTQ+ community and their various relationships. Miriam works with individuals, couples, and families, believing that every person deserves to be treated with respect and as a whole human being, no matter their gender identity, sexual orientation, relationship type, cultural background, skin color, religion, or any other part of their identity.

    Miriam completed her Master of Science degree in Family Therapy from Texas Woman's University and has worked in both community and private practice settings since 2018. Her training background also includes performing evaluations and write letters of support for gender-affirming medical care using the Gender Affirmative and Supportive Surgery Evaluation Tool (Gender ASSET) and becoming an EMDR Trained Therapist to target a wide array of distressing issues including trauma.

    Miriam has her own private practice, Whole Congruence Therapy, PLLC, where she currently sees clients from all over Texas via video therapy.
