If there is one show that I can say defines my life, it would be The Simpsons, and that is also true for my friend Tom. So we decided that we would go back in time, watch and review every Simpsons episode from beginning to... well not quite end as who knows when that will be, but you get the idea.So join us for our journey from late 80s T.V. culture until, at least, the 2020s, that is almost 40 years of television!! As we see, what aged well, what didn't and what still makes us laugh.

    And this time, we are discussing Series 1 - Episode 8: The Telltale Head, in which Bart & Homer are being pursued by an angry mob through the streets of Springfield, baying for their blood. It turns out that Bart, hoping to impress the town bullies, sawed the head of the statue of town founder Jedediah Springfield. But when he discovered how appalled they were to find the head gone, enlisted Homer's help in replacing it.

    AHoy-hoy everyone and welcome back to 742 Evergreen Terrace.


    This time we are watching Episode 6: Moaning Lisa, in which Lisa develops the blues. After being sent home from Springfield Elementary, and being unable to be cheered up, she hears jazz music in the distance, and sneaks out to follow the sound. She learns how to express her sadness on the saxophone, and after some understanding from Marge, gains her happiness again. In the meantime, the first ever B-Plot, and a great one at that, unfolds, in which, Homer struggles to beat Bart in a boxing video game, but to no avail.
