We're very excited to have Janine, Lisa and Melissa from Ladybird Animal Sanctuary as our first podcast guests! They are a powerful team behind this amazing animal rescue organization.

Ladybird Animal Sanctuary is a unified voice for abandoned, abused and
neglected animals. Together, through a network of volunteers, foster
homes, educators, animal lovers and exceptionally generous people, we
aim to eliminate the unnecessary suffering of domestic animals in
local shelters.

Ladybird rescues cats, dogs and small animals and is a champion for
seniors, those with costly medical issues, and so­-called ‘hard to
adopt’ animals. Through the countless lives forever impacted through
Ladybird’s efforts, we know that every life is worth saving and that a
loving home awaits all these deserving creatures.

Since 2011, Ladybird has rescued over 1,200 animals from high-volume
shelters in Ontario and Quebec.
