Throughout July, Samaritans will be running its annual awareness-raising campaign, Talk to Us. The campaign aims to let people know that Samaritans volunteers are here 24/7 for anyone who is struggling to cope.
In 2021 Samaritans volunteers spent over one million hours responding to calls for help.
To show our support, we will be raising awareness on social media throughout July, as well as marking Samaritans Awareness Day on 24 July.
If you’d like to get involved, you can help raise awareness this month by sharing Samaritans’ messaging on your own social media pages using #TalkToUs and #SamaritansAwarenessDay.

We’ll be presenting Happiful afternoons in the Riverside Tent every day, joined by mental health and wellbeing professionals, and Yellow Kite authors including the wonderful Kirsty Gallagher, Sunday Times’ bestselling author of Lunar Living and the Lunar Living Journal , Happy Not Perfect author Poppy Jamie and the author of Anxious Man and co-host of the VoiceMail podcast Josh Roberts. More of our programming will be announced in the coming weeks.
In addition to our afternoon sessions, there’ll be talks, workshops, yoga, pilates, great food, chances to let your mind wander, opportunities to meet and talk with other people and to be inspired, reinvigorated and restored.
