From using forced perspective, miniatures, scaled composites, background replacements, performance capture, and crowd-generating software, this trilogy was able to exploit every trick in the book. This time around we chatted with Professor of Film and Video game design at Washburn University, Matt Nyquist, about Ralph Breaks the Internet, a sequel to the animated film Wreck-it-Ralph. We talked about his latest venture, the WIFI Film Festival and how he has infused the Washburn University in Kansas with his knowledge of film and film culture available only at the most prestigious film schools in the country.
