Paul's example of the faith of Abraham is a great example of how a man, given a promise by God that was impossible to him; that only God could do for him, could receive. In this session we will be looking at the Church at Sardis, in Revelation 3:1-6. Jesus called this church 'dead'. Sardis was a church that was living in 'name only'. Nothing of any spiritual value was going on in this church - nobody getting born again or filled with the Holy Spirit; no healing miracles being manifested, etc. However, there were a few believers who were holding on, and Jesus exhorted these few to 'hold fast' to what they had, and not give up or give into the darkened influences of the world. In this session we are going to discuss 'Walking with Jesus', and our text will be found in 1 Peter 3:8-22. Proper conduct in church and in the world is much of our witness to others of the love and hope of God that is in us.

In this session, we will continue on our subject of Discipline in Prayer by looking at the things, five of them, that Jesus said we should pray for. And again our text is Luke 11:1-4. If we want to have a strong and effective prayer life, then we will have to follow Jesus and His Word.

We are continuing our study of Discipline in Prayer and this discussion is going to focus on 'Prayer That Affects Change'. We all wonder many times why some prayers receive immediate answers while other prayers we pray don't seem to move at all. There are reasons for this. There is a place and an attitude in prayer that will affect the kind of change we seek and desire. We just need to know what to do with our prayer life and how to affect the kinds of changes we desire.

Are you stuck spiritually? Are you spiritually dry? And you sense very little movement of the Spirit in your life? Discipleship sets the foundation for spiritual growth to full maturity in the things, and in the life of God. Oftentimes, the reason why we aren't receiving from God the way we used to is we're not properly founded upon the things in the Word and of the Spirit that permits us to grow in the things of God. Discipleship enables us to build a proper house upon the foundation of Christ Jesus. And, it is very important that we build a spiritual house that will glorify Him.

As believers in Christ Jesus, we have a "Healing Covenant" that is based upon the sacrifice of Christ on the Cross, and our inclusion into, through Him, the Blessing of Abraham. In this session, I have read scriptures from the OT as well as the NT that communicate to every believer what God's will is concerning His covenant of healing. If you are suffering physically or emotionally, God's word tells us there is an answer to afflictions, it is God's will to heal us and set us free from the bondages of sin, sickness, disease, poverty and spiritual death.

In this session we are going to look at some different methods Jesus employed to heal people of sickness and disease. Do you need to be healed? Do you believe it is God's will to heal you? Jesus demonstrated His mercies and compassions toward those who need to be touched, in a healing way, in order to show us the will of the Father; that God is full of mercy and compassion toward all who are in need.

In this session, we will continue our study of the 'God of Miracles'. In this session we will be looking at four instances in the gospels of the healing power of the Son of God and how faith in God was a cooperative to receiving His miraculous healing power. God is merciful and full of compassion, and He desires people to be well, as any being would desire who is Good-Willed. Jesus is the Good Master and His will is to do good and to heal all who are oppressed of the devil.

In this session, we are going to look at Jesus Christ, Who is the 'God of Miracles'. The Apostle John proves in his gospel, in chapter 5:19-24, that Jesus Christ is 'with God', in His nature, power and authority, and John records the proof of these by the miracles which He performed in the next chapter, chapter 6. Jesus is the God of Miracles! Do you need a miracle?

This study is entitled 'Prayer and Power'. It is essential for us as individual believers as well as corporate believers to be filled with what is necessary in order for us to do what the Lord has called us to do. to 'hunger and thirst after righteousness' is the prerequisite to being filled. This filling comes to us as a reward for diligently seeking Him.
