    Leanna Lee obtained a language degree in Mandarin and is currently learning Spanish with a great friend and mentor from Spain. While learning an ambitious language herself during the pandemic, she was motivated by her Spanish language partner to teach ESL. She fell in love with her students and teaching that her Preply literally explored with requests from students that wanted to work with her. With her overwhelming schedule, it had allowed her to utilize her skill sets in time management that she will share with you some pointer in today’s episode. Leanna is helping her community with human services and resources for them to substrain everyday life while always improving their communication skills in English and she has fun conversations in Spanish with her students. Which is strengthening her language abilities in Spanish to help them better.

    Matthew Hamelburg is an educator that goes above and beyond for his students, from being their cheerleader to being an empowering mentor to his learners. He has traveled to a few places outside the United States as a humanitarian in supporting people in his community by renovating their shelters and as an ESL teacher educating the young ,beautiful kids in those enriched countries. He incorporates not just the usual ESL lessons in his classroom, and also during his classes he shares advice on motivation and encouragement. While also giving a heart-warming smile to many of his students he work with don't receive often outside the classroom. Easygoing, fun and share a few jokes and laughter in his classes; Matthew brings intellectual knowledge of English to his students and make it his duty to uplift his students' spirits whenever and wherever he can.

  • 31 - Why ESL teachers are important? 💯

    Recently, Irene Colthurst ventured on a relaxing trip to sunny Puerto Rico while sharing and teaching her passion for the English language to her eager students. With a unique capability than most, she tuned her limitations into her strength. After doing plenty of research on the fun ESL profession, she was inspired by others' footsteps. She took on a similar path in improving the world by helping individuals with their communication development as an educator. 

    Straight out of college, there were odds against her and she turned those impossible scenarios into possible opportunities that awaited her. She jumped on the bandwagon of teaching ESL and she has been fulfilling the minds and hearts of her students with fruitful and enjoyable conversations and lessons in her classroom. She is multitalented being involved in many passionate projects that fulfill her heart and that help others. She is a knowledgeable reviewer of historical fiction novels and a writer as one of many of her hobbies.

    Jennifer Brown is beloved at her school from your young students and she has devotedness to aiming for success constantly in her classroom while also having fun and adding magical moments to her student's learning experiences. 

    Her trajectory to teaching the English language is different. She was a general education teacher so her hand in teaching was already familiar pivot to the classroom atmosphere.
