Known for his loaf sized breadsticks, his larger-than-life personality, and his childhood frenemy Christoph Waltz, Schultz clawed his way to the top of the restaurant industry while also harboring a secret desire to be a famous Hollywood actor. He will be remembered for his legendary three week improv session in downtown LA - and for the upcoming biopic about his life starring him as a younger version of him. His wife, Katerina, will be vlogging the funeral. New episode Thursday!!

(1994 - 2025) Steven Jobs (no not that Steven Jobs) died somewhat recently at a Meta Team Event promoting dozens of paintings of animal nipples. Jobs (Steven not Steve) spent his career as an intern at Instagram responsible for doing the bubbles and reading everyone's stories. Despite his humble roots as a farm boy who glossed turkey chests, Jobs (again, not that Jobs) rose the ranks at Instagram and eventually got the chance to meet Mark Zuckerberg, Senior Member. His lifelong love of painting allowed him to connect to his roots, and he died doing what he loved: promoting his art on Instagram live. His funeral will be held at a random Tennessee town hall where no nipples will be allowed on screen, only in person. NEW EPISODE THURSDAY.

(1989 - 2025) Dale Davidson, oil tycoon and poet, passed away yesterday all alone in the middle of the woods near a binturong. Followed around by his reporter and maybe intimate confidant Michael Leahcim, Dale was known as being as rich as Chappelle Roan until his untimely demise. Davidson had three dreams (finding oil, forming a small country in the middle of Germany, and writing fact-based poetry) and he led a life of deceit and backwards last names in order to achieve all three, destroying his marriage of convenience along the way. His last will and testament leaves all of his money to his wife and arch-nemesis Jessica, and his funeral will be held somewhere - unfortunately a paper boy ripped out the last page of the newspaper so no one will ever know where. (1992 - 2025) Lisa Bergen, theoretically someone with a job, died this week after doing improv. As an orphan who was an orphan for as long as she's been an orphan, Bergen spent her days on this volatile planet hitting comedy clubs in the hopes of making a go of it in the Brooklyn improv scene. Despite completely never telling anyone anything about her passion for performing for fear of getting killed by her boss, Bergen was best known (or not-known) for her improv comedy group Elbow's Head - drawing crowds of sometimes six people. Her rival group One Foot A Head will host her memorial will be next week, with a secret performance on ukulele by her co-worker Daniel at the subway station over Bossa Nova Civic Club. (1982 - 2025) George Trudy, otherwise known by their player name PopPop McDyke, died last week in a fantasy land far far away from this humble obituary writer's countryside abode. Known for their 37-face "lucky" dice, their relentless pursuit of the perfect Dungeons and Dragons game, and the random fatal events that peppered their DMing, McDyke is most famous for joining legendary player Juno's 65 year old game (along with HuzzahKid). They will be memorialized by their best friend D*** at their funeral next week. NEW EPISODE THURSDAY!

(1995-2025) Ashley Daggers, newly-minted pop star and hitmaker for three foreign countries, died last night after eating the most American thing possible. Known for absolute bangers like "Body Wrong", "Skyn With A Y", "Home4Now", and "AxSent", Daggers will be remembered for her devotion to Britney Spears' goat, her angelic three-minute outros, and the zeitgeist-y relatability of her lyrics. She will be remembered for her legendary Mean Girls trio costume with her friends Kaylee and Kayla, which actually turned into an award-winning Jennifer's Body duo costume with just Kaylee and Kayla. (1998 - 2024) Christopher "Tiny" Sanchez the Fourth, scion of the Sanchez Shipping Company and co-founder of the holiday Christmas, passed away yesterday in the late afternoon doing what he loved: swinging hammers for prizes. As the youngest/favorite son of a mother-worshipping family, Sanchez pressed all the right buttons in his rapid rise to the top of his family's shipping company - growing from Sharpie-wielding hourly employee all the way to "fixer" (see: Sanchez Family Scrolls pg. 48). In his short life, he tackled problems such as figuring out how to get the ball through the oval-shaped hoop, to figuring out how to get a cargo ship through the oval-shaped canal. He will be buried next to his grandfather - Christopher Sanchez the Second - and Sharpies will be available at the funeral to sign his casket. No purveyors, purchasers, or surveyors allowed. (1994 - 2024) Curtis L, the local cream cheese mogul and chive aficionado who ran the Creamy Company for years, passed away last night in a pool of his own making in front of dozens of students and undead creatures. Known for absolutely bulldozing a block of houses downtown then rebuilding them brick by brick to look exactly the same, L. will be remembered as that guy who triked daily down the street carrying massive amounts of cream cheese and chives (which are not a type of Mexican beer). His generosity with opening up his cream cheese factory to family tours and field trips will forever endear him to our community, despite him not being a numbers guy. L's funeral will be held on Tuesday in a monastery in France where the Cistercian monks first fermented cream cheese using the blood of their coworker Pierre…or something like that (new episode THURSDAY !).

(1988 - 2024) Stacy (is it Stacy?) yes Stacy, that Stacy, the Stacy I'm talking about died yesterday in front of dozens of parents and one student from her Quaker School in Idaho, creating a new sport through her untimely death. Known for her groundbreaking work in the field of virtual volleyball / polevaulting / tennis, Stacy (yes, Stacy) had already been a midwest legend for decades after her claim to fame as one-time Iowa State Women's Volleyball State Champion in the Tournament of I's. She will forever be tied to her corn-shucking roots and the friends who were more like friends of friends rather than friends. Her memorial will be taking place in the digital world, in VR goggles, and her coffin will be made of the dozens and dozens of volleyballs she had collected over the years. (1995 - 2024) Mika Lesser, a NYC FiDi lifer, passed away last evening after scaling the world's greatest symbol of liberty - all in the name of social media savviness. Lesser, a local reply guy who haunted all the Think Coffeeshops south of Canal Street, spent his life training the nepo babies of the world in "media presence", which may or not be a real thing. Best known as the right-hand-man to Tommy Carlsen (son of Tucker), Lesser's global impact was bright but shortlived - like the free cheese samples at Trader Joes, or a newly opened bottle of fresh whole milk. Alongside her two friends Shawnie and Dave, Tunis attempted to form a trio and build the first meaningful relationships of her life at the time of her death. She will be remembered by her boss who she wanted to kill, and the pranks she executed during the course of her short life - arsonists all over town will burn down domiciles as tribute to her life tomorrow night. (1994 - 2024) Tannen Baum, heir to the Baum Swamp Water Dynasty from Prussia, died last night in front of a Prussian militia while wearing his beautiful purple ermine robe. Baum, known for his Vermont morality and for resurrecting his family's semi-defunct swamp water company, left no stone unturned in his pursuit of spreading Prussian nationalism. Despite turning the National and State Park Ranger System into a breeding ground for his new swamp water empire, he will be remembered fondly by Park Ranger Michaels, Park Ranger Michaels' son, and the greater community of Danville VT. (2006 - 2024) Miami Wednesday, one of the last high schoolers from Schenoodle, Ohio, passed away far from home last night. Famed for being the only teenager in Schenoodle to smoke pot, Miami was born destined to be in Boston, struggling for the whole of her short life to get to the East Coast. Despite her fascination with hair and makeup, Miami was trapped by both the pastoral confines of rural Ohio, and the shadow of her wig-smelling brother Kevin. She will be remembered for her persistence, her love of leprechauns, and her abrasive curse words. You can read her funeral via Stenographer's transcript sometime later this week. She will be remembered for proving the famous Dr. Peanut theory that everyone is related to an Avocado, and her ex-girlfriend will be churning colonial butter in Williamsburg to commemorate Patricia's death. Known as an acquaintance then a work friend then as a friend-friend to God, Noah spent his life searching for connections with men his age. Despite a robust social life playing Olde Rugby, Noah often felt alone and abandoned by his peers - seeking comfort and solace at home with his wife and three sons, all of which have names. She will be remembered by her micropenis boyfriend who will not be named, her best friend Marissa, and the dozens of Uber drivers who will be waiting to drive her to her eternal destination. After splitting from husbands Karl, Sir Ian, and Petey (and wives Jennifer and Michelle), Gladys eventually found long-term love in her long-term mentor Johnny - whose five tattooed rules Gladys lived by until the day she died. Despite always running away, Gladys never ran from the innermost feelings tucked away in her heart, changing societal values and legal rules regarding marriage and divorce in the state of Ohio. Funeral services will be held at LeBron James' house. Dinner will be served at 7pm sharp. Don't be f***ing late.

(1966 - 2024) Craig Foibles, famed woodworker who won recognition for his life-size replicas of weapons of antiquity, passed away in an exceptionally unnatural way last night on the boat he built for his mother. Encouraged from a young age with a hefty parental investment, Foibles wandered his way into an industry that valued the artistry of his woodwork more than the functionality. Despite his frequent pushbacks against being influenced, Foibles came under the patronage of famed collector-billionaire Uncle Mike: a collaboration that led to some of the greatest wood-weapons ever made by mankind. She will be remembered by her parents, Jade and Topaz (who are starting a Democratic SuperPAC in her name), as well as her volunteer colleagues in the Singing Betty Choir. A fanatic of Presidential Tenders and Vice Presidential members, James will forever be known as a Washington, D.C. novice turned political supernova, an undecided think tank participant who took the capital city by storm, a high school hero who hated his high school friends. Feared by inanimate objects and robots everywhere, the one day reign of Antonio James will either be written about in history as a one-off anomaly, or as a trailblazing meteor destined to make the future. (2011 - 2023) Twitter, the human embodiment of the social media app Twitter, died yesterday after being betrayed by both her friend Instagram and her adoptive father Elon Musk (pronounced Elon Musk). Although no one knew of her existence, she played a role in each of our tweeting lives, ultimately dying without ever speaking for herself. A titan of the Wall Street/Another One industry - and progeny of a famous financial family - Steven will forever be linked with his older brother Martin, his ruthless merger philosophy, his use of of LLC's, and the single donation he made to that orphanage down the street. In recent years, Dr. Plum reached the zenith of dental fame, landing spots on People Magazine and The Seth Molar Show. He had quite the life - starting off his human career as an animal and ending as a dental deity. In a life that spanned the width of the 20th century, and punctuated by years filled with historic events, Little Sheila was best known as the large-headed amish retiree of Yonkers. Born in the year of The Great Gatsby, married on the day President Kennedy was assassinated, and buried during the Covid-19 pandemic, Rosenmeyer left behind no will and no modern tools. She will be published by the F. Scott Fitzgerald estate in June of 2025.

(1992 - 2023) Martha Josephina, the darling of the Saturday Night Fever Anniversary Tradition and husband to that Honey Baby Sex Guy, died last night during her town's first annual Saturday Night Fever Celebration that maybe was a setup for a criminal sting operation. Josephina, mother of six kids pre-k, was known to rattle the house: scaring both neighbors and family members alike. She ostracized her apparently less-talented children, and had a penchant for holding personally intrusive people in her social orbit. Her funeral will be paid for by Bob's College of Nollege, and her one successful daughter Julie will give the eulogy.

Kenneth Cooperman (1975 - 2022) and Ollie Cooperman (1975 - 2022), twins at birth but opposites till the end, died without ever leaving their home state of Florida and without ever not loving the same woman. Tallahassee natives who had different interests but the same trivia team, the brothers Cooperman could be seen never together: Kenneth always shredding the Gulf of Mexico on his hoverboat "Sleek Ocean Sleeker #445", and Kenneth tucking himself into a corner of his home library to dive into a book. Which is why their death at the same time and place seems so strange...so strange...donations to be Zelled to the Farley Brothers, not for a boat, but for a name.

(1994 - 2023) Karen (no, not that Karen) died. She didn't want to be known. All she wrote in her will was one name: a name that sends shudders down this humble obituarist's shoulders, a name that tingles my mind and stretches my spine, a name that resounds in my mind even as I type these words, a name that you all must already know..... the name of our beloved leader: KARL.

(1981 - 2022) Ralph Clemens, known as the talent behind Ralph Clemens, LLC, died last night doing what he loved: ignoring his family and indulging in his work on the stage. Known for his sharp fingers and bonsai-like wit, Clemens is credited for ushering in a new era of theater involving detailed live hedges, flowers, and greenery - inspiring a generation of niche live performance laborers. Unfortunately, however, there's no sunlight in a theater. His family business, although slightly wilted, is still alive and well.
