This is an out of the blue episode I felt call to record 2 weeks ago. Actually, I felt call to just voice my feelings and reflections on that moment and I wasn’t sure if I would share this with anyone but I figure that perhaps a little vulnerability moment is what someone out there might need so here it is. In case you take the time to read this, my Mom’s surgery went great and she is recovering very well. I’m eternally grateful to the Universe for this and everything in my life. It has not always been easy but I have certainly have many beautiful moments throughout this lifetime that truly make life worth it. If you are going through something hard right now by heart goes out to you, have faith and keep going, storms don’t last forever, you will get through it. I sent you all love, peace, and ease! These are my thoughts and take aways from a beautiful conversion Garance Dore had with Perla Servan-Schreiber, the writer of “Les promesses de l'âge : A 75 ans, ma nouvelle liberté” or “The promises of Age: at 75 My New Freedom.” Perla worked for Elle Magazine for many years. She is not a mother but is the grandmother of 8 children. She is a leading lady with so much grace and openness that is hard not to admire her. She is full of Joy, Authenticity, and Vulnerability. She speaks openly about women’s femininity and sexually beyond menopause. She Embraces Aging with grace and openly. Perla founded the magazine Psychologies with her husband Jean-Louis Servan-Schreiber. Who she met at age 42 and were married for over 33 years until he passed away last year in November 2020. A beautiful reminder that love can come to you at anytime! I find Perla to be a lady that has been ahead of her time always and that’s truly something I admire about her. To share even when you feel like is not perfect or “not ready enough.” We all need each other to be our most Authentic & Vulnerable Self because when we do that we ignite that Courage on others to do the same. We must find healthy ways to release these intense emotions.. - For me is Painting 🧑🏽‍🎨 Drawing - Music, I wake up with music and end my day with music - Movement - exercise, dancing, walking, I have a friend who is into boxing 🥊 I have done boxing 🥊 a few times but is not my thing but I can at sure you it will definitely help release anger and frustration. - Screaming - if you can’t scream loud scream into a pillow. - A long drive on the highway 🛣 or back roads where toy get to see beautiful nature if that’s available to you Can clear your mind tremendously - Nature - if I can not be in nature I stick my head out of my window 🪟 to take few deep breathes, it completely shifts my mood. - Be Aware of the overuse of alcohol or narcotics to make you feel “quote on quote better” 1. Think before you speak. In the heat of the moment, it's easy to say something you'll later regret. ... 2. Once you're calm, express your anger. ... 3. Take a timeout. ... 5. Identify possible solutions. ... 6. Listen to your body, if you feel like laying in bed all day and that’s available and possible for you do that. 7. Reach out for help 8. Fibonacci - was an Italian mathematician, considered to be “the most talented Western mathematician of the Middle Ages.” He helped spread the use of Hindu system of writing numbers in Europe (0,1,2,3,4,5 in place of Roman numerals). He is also recognized for the “golden ratio” which describes predictable patterns on everything from atoms to huge stars in the sky. The point is that when I think of numerology I think of Fibonacci! A Year or Going Within Hello Beautiful Friends! (Be aware of Desires from the Heart vs Ego & Conditioning thoughts) *Always follow your heart! Chase the Feeling, not the Money... I know a total cliché but they are very true phrases. Han pasado algunas semanas desde la última vez que publiqué un episodio, aparentemente necesitaba algo de tiempo para ordenar mis pensamientos y emociones y hablo un poco sobre eso en el episodio de hoy. Estamos a menos de 3 meses y medio del final del 2020, lo que para mí siempre es un momento para reflexionar sobre mi año hasta ahora y poner las cosas en perspectiva. Preguntas que debemos hacernos de vez en cuando, los invito a que escriban sus respuestas en una libreta o diario, déjense llevar por su lápiz y escriban lo que le venga a la mente, no lo piense demasiado: 1. ¿Quién soy yo? 2. ¿Qué se siente bien para mi? 3. ¿Qué quiero? 4. ¿Qué me gusta? 5. ¿Qué quiero hacer? 6. ¿Qué es importante para mí? 7. ¿Qué quiere mi corazón? (Ten en cuenta la diferencia entre Deseos del corazón y los pensamientos que viene desde el Ego) * ¡Siempre sigue a tú corazón! Persigue lo que te hace sentir bien, no el dinero ...
