Naturally, this doesn't lend itself to a standard podcast, so this week follow along with the service as it was in the room. We followed a path paved throughout multiple psalms, starting in lament, and ending in joy and praise to God. They'll be some periods of teaching, some periods of worship, and some periods of response. This week at G2, Hannah expanded on the first aspect of G2's vision - holding firmly to the Word of Life. The Word is alive and it is our anchor as we live out our discipleship. The Bible offers more than just nice stories or little quotes to make us feel good. It is our handbook, it is our story, it's where we have come from and where we are going. More and more the world is saying just do what is right for you, do what feels right, please yourself. But that is not the message from God, we have a Father who knows what is right for all of us.

This week at G2 was a little bit different. In the Gospel of Luke, Jesus is nearly always going to, from, or having a meal, and so we believe it is so important to also share food as a community. This Sunday, between eating, Matt, Fiona, and Hannah spoke to us on Matthew 14 and Jesus feeding the 5000, tying in a Gospel contemplation, the scriptual links to Psalm 23, and how Jesus models repsonding to grief.
