In another abuse of the rule of law by Trump's dirty DOJ officials, acting Attorney General Todd Blanche's lies are exposed. On the Fox network, Blanche first said that the Southern Poverty Law Center - an organization that the DOJ criminally indicted in what appears to be a baseless prosecution - never shared information it had gathered about extremist hate groups with the FBI/law enforcement agencies. Days later, Blanche said - on another Fox program, "It is true that over the years they (SPLC) have selectively shared information with law enforcement. Apparently, one federal judge has had just about enough of Trump DOJ lawyers who are misleading the court. This story exposes the dangerous depravity of the Trump administration: a Department of Homeland Security official told a DOJ attorney to hide from a federal judge that a defendant who was appearing in court and seeking release had an outstanding murder warrant for his arrest issued by another country. The DOJ attorney agreed to hide that critically important information from the judge and the judge released the defendant. After successfully concealing the information from the judge, a DHS official began smearing the judge for releasing the defendant, posting: "An activist judge appointed by Joe Biden released this wanted murderer back into the American communities." This level of corruption, depravity, and deception is almost beyond belief. The good news is the judge is ordering an investigation and possible sanctions for the DOJ attorney and DHS. The lawlessness of Donald Trump's Department of Justice continues, unbated. The DOJ just vindictively indicted James Comey, again! Recall that a federal judge threw out the last indictment against Comey. As ABC News reported: "James Comey indicted again, this time over seashell Instagram post. Trump claimed the "86 47" written in seashells was an assassination threat." This indictment is also destined to be thrown out, for two reasons. First and foremost: James Comey committed no crime. Second, James Comey has a due process right against being vindictively prosecuted. To prove he committed no crime, James Comey could call as his first witness at trial . . . the dictionary. This from the Merriam Webster dictionary: "86 is slang meaning to throw out, to get rid of, or to refuse service too. It comes from the 1930s soda counter slang, meaning that an item was sold out . The other thing likely motivating this indictment is that Pam Bondi got fired, and the prevailing wisdom is because she didn't successfully prosecute any of Donald Trump's perceived enemies. So this looks like Todd Blanche's desperate attempt to keep his job as acting Attorney General by prosecuting Trump's perceived enemies. Donald Trump is still being sued for what he did on January 6, 2021: launching an attack on the United States Capitol to steal a presidential election from the American people. Now that Pam Bondi has been fired and she's no longer Attorney General, it actually frees her up in one really important way. Bondi is licensed to practice law in the state of Florida; but the Florida state bar has a rule: it won't conduct ethics investigations of attorneys who are serving in presidentially-appointed positions. Accordingly, the Florida Bar previously has refused to act on the multiple ethics complaints filed against Bondi while she was attorney general. When civilized countries and responsible law enforcement agencies come upon evidence of suspected crime, they are supposed to investigate that crime. Donald Trump's dirty DOJ leadership is engaged in a shell game, a game of three-card monty, a game of misdirection designed to dupe the American people. DOJ's Office of Legal Counsel (OLC) is a component of the Department of Justice that issues advisory opinions regarding the legality or illegality of conduct by federal government officials, attorneys, law enforcement, and military operations. Historically, OLC has tried to do its work in good faith, and in accordance with the law and the Constitution. But that is not the case under the current corrupt DOJ leadership. OLC is now offering indefensible legal opinions - for example, trying to give top cover to the Trump administration when it unlawfully enters Venezuela and takes into custody its president and first lady. Indeed, virtually every respected military law expert recognizes that this was an illegal operation. The same is true for the unlawful, deadly strikes on small Venezuelan boats in international waters. OLC also rendered an opinion of how fake US attorney Lindsay Halligan could continue to sign official court documents as "United States Attorney" even though a federal judge had ruled that she was unlawfully and unconstitutionally in that position. But there's also supposed to be another safeguard against, in particular, DOJ attorney misconduct. The office of professional responsibility (OPR) is supposed to investigate allegations or suspected incidents of DOJ attorney misconduct and misconduct by law enforcement officers, like FBI agents. However, the head of OPR was wrongfully removed from the job months ago, and there is no indication that there even is a current, legitimate head of the OPR. This corrupt shell game that Trump's dirty DOJ leadership is playing - having OLC issue memos to give wrongdoers top cover, and then neutering OPR so that the attorneys who engage in misconduct will not be held accountable - is destroying the legitimacy of the DOJ. It was a surprise to many when The New York Times reported that Renee Good suffered four gunshot wounds at the hands of ICE officer Jonathan Ross. The Supreme Court has put a stop to Trump's efforts to militarize the streets of America. Specifically, they ruled that Trump cannot federalize Illinois National Guard troops and deploy them to the streets of Chicago. This is one of the first times the Supreme Court has pushed back on Trump's dictatorial zeal, and it's a ruling that likely will have broad implications regarding Trump's efforts to militarize Portland, Oregon, Los Angeles, California, and beyond. Donald Trump's Attorney General Pam Bondi apparently believes that she is above the law. She blatantly violated the Epstein Files Transparency Act by releasing only a small fraction of the files which is in violation of federal law. Bondi's lawlessness is serving to cover up the crimes of countless rich, influential, connected men.
