Life is tough when you live in a fallen world with a fallen nature. But we have a living hope in Jesus Christ that should be our driving force. Depending on your own motivation is not enough, draw your purpose from Christ and live fearlessly, although thislife is tough remember that you serve a God who is tougher. Who is the ultimate healer, giver, creator and sacrifice.

We have a God who is all-knowing and a God who hears our pleas, cries and he knows our heart's desires. You might think that your prayers and cries are for nothing, but understand that our Father in heaven has a plan in motion and we just need to learn to trust Him and His plans. Sometimes what we want for ourselves isn’t good for us, trust that He knows best and really discern what His will so you can pray according to that will.

In a fallen world we all experience hardship, we all walk around with scars and open wounds but we have a God who deliberately died on the cross so we could be set free from darkness.

A problem many of us face daily is underestimating the existence of dark forces. We think that things such as demons and Satan do not exist and that is exactly what they want you to believe. They do not want you to feel threatened and when we take a laid back approach to life and spiritual battles that is when we are most vulnerable when we do not have our defences up. I am not saying live in fear, I am saying live in preparation. Pray, do quiet time, meditate on scripture and truly cultivate your relationship with God so when the enemy wants to attack, you are ready and you are wiser.

Our strength comes from God, so we boast in our weakness because when we are weak He is strong. So remember that when you have reached the point where it gets tough, seek Him and He will renew your strength.
