Muhammad Ghazali

Muhammad Ghazali (full name Sheikh Muhammad al-Ghazali) was a highly influential Egyptian Islamic scholar, thinker, and writer, born in 1917. He passed away in 1996. While he undoubtedly had a profound connection with the Quran and recited it, his primary contribution was as a scholar, reformist, and orator rather than a professional reciter whose recordings are widely sought for their unique vocal qualities or mastery of *maqamat*. Muhammad Ghazali (also spelled Mohammed Al-Ghazali) is a Quran reciter from Saudi Arabia. He primarily recites in the Hafs ‘an Asim narration.
