New Nudist Podcast

Welcome, nudies, to episode 46 of the New Nudist Podcast.

This episode is all about FUNN, the Federation of United Naturists and Nudists, the newly formed nonprofit membership organization that has been recognized by the International Naturist Federation (INF-FNI) as its U.S. representative.

Scott and Evan are joined by James Nunn, FUNN’s treasurer and a longtime naturist and nonprofit leader, to talk about why the organization was created, what it hopes to do, and what it means to put the United States back at the international naturist table after 17 years away.

We also welcome back Stéphane Deschênes, president of the International Naturist Federation, who explains what the INF actually does, why international cooperation matters, why the U.S. has been absent for so long, and what FUNN’s membership in the federation means for American naturists. He also previews some of the work ahead, including the INF World Congress in Hungary and a planned international survey of naturism.

Then Scott, Evan, and James dig further into FUNN itself: why it was designed as an affordable complement to existing U.S. naturist organizations, how its members will have a voice in its governance and international representation, and where the organization may go from here.

FUNN is just getting started, and so is the conversation.

Welcome, Nudies, to episode 37 of the New Nudist Podcast. In this episode, Evan sits down wit Dan Hawkins, a passionate advocate for nudism, live from the 93rd anual AANR convention at Shangri La Ranch in Arizona. Dan has been an art model for over 40 years, is the author of naturist-themed fiction, and was recently elected as the new president of AANR Southwest. We explore his journey as someone who is "nude inclined" and his contributions to the naturist movement on multiple fronts.

Plus Scott and Evan record our intro "live" from California's Glen Eden Sun Club...well, as live as a podcast can get.

Welcome, Nudies, to episode 36 of the New Nudist Podcast. In this episode, we have an enlightening conversation with R. Allen Baylis, a dedicated naturist and attorney. Allen has a remarkable career defending naturists charged with exposure, litigating against anti-nude ordinances, and even acting as the "beach dad" for the once-nude San Onofre beach. He is also a co-founder of Naturists in the OC (NitOC).

Join us as we delve into Allen's experiences and insights on the legal challenges faced by naturists and the efforts to protect our right to be nude. His expertise and passion for naturism provide a compelling perspective on the intersection of law and nudity.

Then, we remember a nudist great who the naturist community recently lost: Morley Schloss. His contributions and dedication to the nudist movement have left an indelible mark, and we take a moment to honor his legacy.
