I've never cringed harder than I did when I just listened to myself trying to hum the facts of life theme song.

Listen, Ricky and Amy may not have actually gotten married on the 4th of July, but you get to listen to us talking about them getting "married" on the 4th of July. Hope your day is gay.

We spend a lot of time on Rihanna here, and so much of it is dead air. Enjoy.

Defiance ain't just a river in Egypt.

The answer we were looking for was Heidi Richmond. We do not find it.

There certainly do be circumstances here.

ana abandons the conversation at some point

we're so silly

Crimes have been committed.

Y'all ever go to the a doctor appointment to discuss your relationship status?

There's so many voices. They're all talking at once.

Around the 17:18 mark you can hear my stomach make a lil noise.

There's a fire starting in my heart... And in Mimsy's apartment... And in that school that Ben burns down...

We continue to discover zoom's new features.

We've been watching this show for a hot minute.

It goes bing bong in the middle randomly, I realized as soon as I started converting it after editing it. I did not care enough to fix it. You'll live.

BEN FALLS DOWN

Our friends are here to talk about the finale with us! The plane doesn't hit the tower til part 2 tho, so stay tuned.

In this episode, Carrie's voice decides it would rather die than keep talking about this show.

Idaho is a northwestern U.S. state known for mountainous landscapes, and vast swaths of protected wilderness and outdoor recreation areas. The capital, Boise, is set in the Rocky Mountain foothills and is bisected by the Boise River, which is popular for rafting and fishing. The city’s riverfront Julia Davis Park is a downtown green space containing a rose garden, museums and a zoo.

Everyone feels badly about how they acted.

Every redacted name in this episode is the same person btw

The speaking is not going well here, there must be a gas leak or something idk.

The love rhombus continues to play relationship chicken.

Boat friends are best friends and best friends are boat friends. Get on a boat with your friends.

I propose that we quit.

I added a bonus nugget at the end there, since I've been too lazy to do PSAs these days.

Keep your ily, I don't want it. I'll only accept ilyydcs from now on.

Yesterday is tomorrow's day before yesterday. Today is tomorrow's yesterday. Tomorrow is yesterday's two days from now. Tomorrow's today is tomorrow. When I write tomorrow I still have to think about it in my head as tom-or-row, or else I'll spell it wrong.

John has stolen the show, he is the only character who matters now.

exciting new character just dropped, everything else is boring as usual

Sometimes it sounds like we've never seen this show when we are talking about this show, even though we've seen it and analyzed more than anyone should. Just a thought I had while listening to this episode.

Pajamas and traffic cones and turtles and don't you dare tell anyone we're at that guest house. We're finally caught up to where we were before our hiatus, we're gonna have to start watching the show again now :(

Ana: What's a rhombus?

Everyone: *sweats nervously*

I fell asleep while editing this so hopefully we didn't announce our social security numbers in the middle.

There's dancing and product placement and gaslighting abound.

Amy is still in New York and we are still suffering.

The sausage king wrote a book. Well he wrote several actually, but Ana read one of them and it's bad. Like real bad. And problematic.

We had to rerecord some episodes we already covered but never posted, so this is some painful retreading that I am not very interested in. I end up trying to derail a lot so that I stay engaged in the conversation. Enjoy :)

We're back, but before we return to our regularly scheduled programming, enjoy a pregnancy interlude with our friend Autumn.

Drugs are very bad and you should definitely never do them.

What do falcons and hybrid cars have in common?

Some dicey conversations about abortion and salami ensue.

ba ba badada ba ba badada ba ba badada da

Starting season 3 without a bang, nor a crash, not even a clatter. Just a faint whisper in the breeze that says, "Adrian may or may not be pregnant" but we're not listening because we have air pods in.

We are here to finish this book discussion so that we never need to discuss it again. Ana is coughing the whole time because she's sick once again. More like sick of this show. Ha.

Y'all have some happy slotat-free holidays, we will start posting season 3 in the new year.

This is part 1 of 2 of this glorified season 1 recap. Mckenna is here, we love that. Its very low energy chill vibes. Carrie doesn't know what her own notes mean, so theres a lot of dead air while she tries to interpret them. There's fire alarms going off. Enjoy.

Lots of dead air in this one as we try to remember things that happen on the show. Spoiler alert for Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Wizards of Waverly Place, Greenlights, Don't Worry Darling, The Last of Us Part 2, The Secret Life of the American Teenager, Glee, something Swedish that Ana doesn't remember the name of, probably other stuff, it just felt like a lot. Email us with your grievances at slotatpodcast@gmail.com.

Happy thxsgiving, here's the season 2 finale. Greg is here. We catch up on the latest celeb drams. The only wedding in the show that matters happens. Good times. Good times. RIP to Carrie. She's not dead yet, but don't worry one day she will be.

This show is a prime example of the practice of floccinaucinihilipilification.

Carrie learns about the windmill metaphor from Don Quixote and Ana learns people can live for more than 50 years.

Ana derails this episode so many times and I only edited some of it out, so have fun listening to fire alarms, pizza ordering, and potential murderers.

That's not your steak, that's m'steak.

Mayim Bialik really takes us on a journey in this one.

Like sands through the hourglass, so are gender roles in America. I guess.

How can this episode produce 1 hour and 38 minutes of discussion? What could we possibly have to say about such a boring episode? I guess listen and find out.

The American healthcare system sucks, web design is hit or miss, and Neopets was great, as was Webkinz. So where is this episode on the scale from the American health care system to early internet animal care websites? That's the question isn't it. Let's discuss. Also if you know how discord works plz explain - slotatpodcast@gmail.com.

This is so long and it only covers half of the episode. It's the masturbation awareness episode so its v unhinged and requires much discussion. Featuring probably the most boring PSA I've done to date.

Bamy finally breaks up! We discuss landlines, spaghetti, and blood stuff.

This episode is totally awesome.

Uh, let's go to the beach-each
Let's go get a wave
They say what they gonna say

I was today years old when I learned that those lyrics say "let's go get a wave," and not "let's go get away."

1. You shall have no other gods before Me.

2. You shall not make idols.

3. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.

4. Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.

5. Honor your father and your mother.

6. You shall not murder.

7. You shall not commit adultery.

8. You shall not steal.

9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

10. You shall not covet.

"I can get emails on my phone now, so I don't need to be at a computer to answer emails anymore, because I can get them on my phone and then respond to them on my phone, which is not a computer, which is what I had to use in the past to read emails, but now its the future and I can see the emails on my phone and then answer them without my computer which is very convenient because I have my phone right here and my computer is not right here but since I can get my emails on my phone I can look at my emails right here even though I don't have my computer here and then I can answer the email right away from right here even though I don't have a computer right here because I can answer the email using my phone, which is not a computer. This is the greatest technological advancement of the 21st century." -Ricky and Amy this whole episode

Greg's back! Moose has arrived! New Griffin lore unlocked!

We try to distract ourselves from the content of this episode by discussing fries, puzzles, and vacuum cleaners. Unfortunately, it doesn't work well enough and Ana starts to play with fire instead.

Two zillenials discuss the process of purchasing a home as if that is ever something they will be able to afford.
