Atomic Fanboy!

"Dear Summer (and summer movies), Where'd ya go, baby? Didn't we have a good run? Why'd you have to leave us? And not only that...you left us with September and movies like BANGKOK DANGEROUS! Why baby, why?!" Ahem. Sorry about that. We had to pour out our pop culture soul and weep for the lack of good movies. But fear not, Fanboys & Fangirls, cause Fall does bring with it some fun! In this riveting episode, the Fanboy squad looks at the horrible movie selections of early September, with peeks at Bangkok Dangerous and Ping Pong Playa! Also, we review the weekend's box office results in Box Office Blitz (thanks Rotten Tomatoes.com)! In SUPER ATOMIC BROTHERS, we look at a few choice upcoming games for all systems, including: Gears of War 2, Wii Music, and Rock Band 2 just to name a few. Season 3; Episode 2 As Summer turns to Fall, so too do movies turn from Fresh and exciting...to a wasteland of creativity. The Fanboy crew is back with another episode of yum-a-dum goodness. Join us this week, won't you, as well look into the death kneel of summer movies that come with the end of August in our favorite segment, CUTTING FILM! Also, in TV SMACKDOWN, we give you the run down of when some of your favorite shows are returning for the fall! Except for Lost. Sorry, Lost-ies...but that shiz doesn't return until February, at the earliest. All this...AND... The Biz poops on his own show, Lawless Mike makes the happy sound and Dodge Rams' appear, The Voice raises the roof, and Johnny Danger learns the hard lessons of multi-culturalism. Listen up, Fanboys & girls...it's showtime!

The "Best of Atomic Fanboy" presents: "Milk, Cookies, & Season 2" (Season 2; Episode 1) Hey guys, a few confessions today. First, we will not have a new episode until another week from now. Yes, I know we said bi-weekly and we are due, but because of some tight scheduling, Mr. Johnny Dangerous could not record this week. That said, we couldn't leave our new listeners empty handed, so we decided to raid the vault and bring out a classic episode! So, hang with us as we reschedule...we'll be back next week with an ALL-NEW episode...and enjoy this trip down memory lane as we kicked off our (extremely short) 2nd season! Two episodes in two weeks! Bonus!!! Here's the original show description: "And here we go again, on our own! Ok, not really. But the AFB gang finally returns from hiatus! Today's episode was brought to you by the segment's "Cutting Film" and "TV Smackdown." And also the letter, "U." As in U R a (censored)! Kidding. Maybe. Here's an interesting one for ya'. Let me set the stage. It had been over a year and a half to 2 years since the last full Atomic Fanboy episode. In that time, some cast members had gone out of state to pursue school opportunities, while others left due to schedule restraints...or, y'know, laziness. Then, as the stars aligned and a thunderbolt from mighty Zeus broke the night sky (or something like that), Johnny Danger and The Biz, original show hosts, decided to finally get the band back together. And then promptly let the show lie dormant until the official 3rd season opener, which took place a month later. So, this is what we call the "Testing the waters" episode. It had been over 2 years of no shows and sad panda-like fans. In this, we mostly talked about what we were looking forward to for the Summer 2008 movie slate, as well as a lot of personal shucking and jiving...and Disney World throw downs.
