Crime Fuckers

Woah, it’s episode 9, the episode before the season 1 finale! What a blast! It’s finally time for some Technical Difficulties! We took off for a week because our close friends got married on Valentine’s Day, and then we came back we couldn’t find Caitlin’s audio for this episode, so Producer Dan had to work some magic! We only had about a 7/8ths portion of the back up audio (Producer Dan’s fault, who will now be named Producer Damned for at least a little while), but we salvaged an awesome chaotic episode, covering a real doozy of a podcast, Wine and Crime. Hosted by 3 childhood friends from Minnesota: Kenyon Laing, Amanda Jacobson, and Lucy Fitzgerald, this shit speaks for itself. It’s mostly an annoying mess of a pod, but has its moments, and Caitlin and Molly shall surely spill all of the tea about it all!

Sometimes we bash the stinky poo pods in the true crime world on this podcast, but this week we Praise a Pod God. American Scandal is awesome, and very good, and fantasmic as hell. Molly and Caitlin give it high ratings with flying colors. Meanwhile Molly gives us a tour of a little place we like to call the Charmin Fun House. Molly and Caitlin enter into episode 7 talkin’ sports, but the real GOAL of this episode is to talk My Favorite Murder! Hosted by Karen Kilgariff and Georgia Hardstark, this podcast has been a hit since 2016, and is very funny and good. No super low embarrassing scores with this one, but is Molly’s plan to remove Philly from Pennsylvania and put it in New Jersey dark and devious? Or does she sorta friggin’ have a point?

Holy shit it’s episode 6. Here we are. Our hosts have their work cut out for them this time around, as they basically threw a dart at the Map of True Crime Podcasts and landed in poo. Casefile: True Crime is the podcast of discussion this episode, hosted by an “Australian” man who remains anonymous. That’s right, we question the validity of this man’s Australian accent! Later on we hear the instant classic song improvised by our hosts, Baby Niece. Strap in Fuckers!

Wow, 5 golden episodes deep into this beautiful new podcast and finally, a FIGHT! Molly and Caitlin cover the podcast Where The Bodies Are Buried with Phil Chalmers. Each episode features Phil conducting behind bars interviews with incarcerated psychopathic serial killers. Molly LIKES it, Caitlin HATES it! WHO WILL COME OUT OF THIS ALIVE?

Well, well, well. If it isn’t Crime Fuckers Episode 4! Caitlin and Molly have a nice refreshing time talking about the podcast Crime Junkie. On Crime Junkie, between gasps, hosts Ashley Flowers and Britt Prawat go over some of the most famous cases in history, while also touching on some not-so-known modern day crimes. However serious these topics may be, you can guarantee there are plenty of fart sounds.

Our wonderous hosts (Caitlin and Molly of course) discuss the podcast True Crime Obsessed, hosted by Patrick Hinds and Gillian Pensavalle. Both Crime Fuckers agree- this show is kind of fine but sort of annoying. The hosts seem like fun and cool people, and it almost feels hard to shit on, but co-host Patrick's laugh is frequent and imposing so shit on it we must. Engineer Dan makes an appearance at the end for a lullaby sleepy time ending. This ep is antics and sound effects gallore!

Molly and Caitlin talk about episodes they strugged to listen to of the Sw*rd & Sc*le podcast hosted by Mike Boudet, and talk a little SMACK on his terrible hosting style. They also delve balls deep into the problematic nature of men in entertainment in general. Let's f*** some crime!

In the inaugural episode of Crime F***ers, Caitlin and Molly talk about Criminal, the true crime podcast hosted by Phoebe Judge. They think it is good, but also sort of for true crime softies with a lower tolerance for morbid subject matter. They talk about their childhood experiences with crime and fear, how much they take the criminal's side, and how much they love to be freaked out by freaky ass stuff. Let's get this party started.
