Today we are going to be discussing one of the most horrific and disturbing cases we’ve ever looked into…the case of 10-year-old Jamie Rose Bolin.

Jamie disappeared in April of 2006 after she has last been seen at the Purcell Library in Purcell, Oklahoma.

When she was found, the world would be shocked to hear the atrocities that she suffered at the hands of an absolute monster.

As of August 1st, it has officially been 57 years since the horrific Texas Tower shooting at the University of Texas. So, for our 57th episode today, we will be taking a deep dive into the absolutely shocking case of Charles Whitman, Jr. a.k.a:  The Texas Tower Sniper.

On Friday, February 20th, 2015, at 4 pm, a 999 call was made reporting 16-year-old Becky Watts missing.

Becky had last been seen the previous morning by her family. She had last left her home in Crown Hill, Bristol with her phone, her tablet and her laptop.

She had not told anyone where she was going or what she would be doing. She did not bring with her a change of clothes, and what’s worse, she wasn’t responding to anyone’s texts or calls…

Despite being 16, this was completely out of character for Becky…she had never been one to stay out too late and she ALWAYS answered her parent’s calls and texts.

As the search for Becky began, her family and the Bristol police felt that something must be horribly wrong for Becky to have vanished without a trace. Not even in their worst nightmare could they imagine what had happened to their bubbly, beautiful 16 year old daughter. This is the depraved and shocking case of the disappearance of Becky Watts.

We’re back! Thank you so much for your patience as we took the month of June off. We have missed you guys!

Today we will be discussing the 1927 Bath Consolidated School Bombing/Massacre…

Unfortunately, this day in age, we are all too familiar with school violence, so today we are going to go back in history, to Bath, Michigan, to take a look at the worst school bombing in US history.

Puzzling enough, this blood bath was perpetrated by a “respected and admired” member of Bath’s small community…a man by the name of Andrew Kehoe.

At the end of Kehoe’s attack on Bath’s consolidated school, over 40 people would be dead. 38 of those victims would be small children.

So who is Andrew Kehoe and what in the world would persuade him to take the lives of innocent children?

I’m not sure if we will leave this episode with more questions or answers, but one thing’s for sure, we will be well versed in the worst school bombing in US history and the monster behind it…

In August of 2005, Hurricane Katrina, one of the worst natural disasters to ever strike the US, devastated the Gulf Coast. Claiming the lives of over 2,000 people. Also claiming lives the same year, was a long-active serial killer; known as the Bayou Strangler or The Bayou Killer. Ronald Dominique was single handedly responsible for the brutal rape and murder of 23 men between 1997-2006. With his dumpy 5’5 frame and his ability to keep to himself, the unassuming Ron Dominique was able to rape and kill without ever being suspected; going unnoticed throughout rural Cajun country as he left a trail of bodies in his wake. So devoted to his sick craft that not even a natural disaster of biblical proportions could stop him. So today my friends, join us discuss the case of the Bayou Killer. Trigger warning, this episode does deal with sexual assault and incest, abduction and abuse.

Story starts at 4:32 after the intro.

Today we are covering the worst type of killer;

a serial child killer.  Luis Garavito, aka La Bestia (The Beast) was responsible for the torture, rape and murder of over 300 kids. 300!! We will discuss how he was able to prey on so many children without getting caught.

By the time all was said and done, many of Luis Garavito’s MASS Graves would be uncovered; revealing the bodies of over 300 tortured young boys…many of whom remain nameless to this day.

So let’s get into the horrific story of The Beast of Colombia…Luis Garavito.

And please be warned…this whole episode is a trigger warning.

A mother is someone who is supposed to nurture and love their children from birth onward, so when we hear of mothers committing atrocious acts of crimes, especially against their own children, it’s extremely hard for our logical mind to understand.  How could one intentionally cause harm, of any kind, to a child that sprung from their own loins? Today we are going to be looking at a case unlike anything we have ever heard of before…the case of Theresa Knorr…the mother from hell. Let’s look into the horrific murders of Sheila Sanders and Suesan Knorr at the hands of the one person who was supposed to love and protect them; their mother, Theresa Knorr…

January 7th, 2007, a train engineer driving by the train tracks in East Knoxville, TN, found the still smoldering human remains of 23 year old Christopher Newsom. The young man had met a horrific and brutal end. Two days later, Knoxville PD would receive a tip that a group of criminals are hiding out in a rundown house on Chipman Street, just blocks away from where Newsom’s body was discovered. In that house, in a tall trash can in the corner of a filthy kitchen, Chris Newsom’s 21 year old girlfriend, Channon Christian’s body was discovered. The couple had met the most grizzly end I have ever encountered as a true crime researcher.

If you know anything about this case, you know that it is one of the most horrific out there. That said, Trigger Warning! Please listen with caution.

However, what sticks more so than the heinous details of what these two wonderful young adults endured, is the love that their families have for them. So although this is going to be a tough case to get through, we have to say that both the Newsom and Christian families are so very inspiring and I encourage you to stick around until the end to hear more about them and all they do to keep their children’s memory alive.

So without further ado, let’s get into the case of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom.

This Philadelphia prison has a VERY dark and sinister past riddled with human experimentation and unspeakable torture.  In fact, if you were to listen to this episode without context, you would think this mayhem occurred in Nazi Germany during WW2.

So today we will be talking about decades worth of human experimentation and unfathomable torture that occurred within the walls of Holmesburg Prison. Join us and make sure to let us know your thoughts on the insanity that occurred right under our noses.

July 13th, 1966, Richard Speck slithered his way into a Chicago townhouse that served as a dormitory for student nurses. On this night, Richard would kill 8 young women, leading them 1 by 1, as Richard would later say, like “lambs to the slaughter”.  We know the details of this horrific night because there was someone at the crime scene who witnessed the horror he inflicted firsthand. A survivor. A young woman who would’ve been Speck’s 9th victim, but instead she would play a key role in making sure this vile, murderous man would never kill again by identifying him, right down to the memorable tattoo etched into his forearm that read “Born to Raise Hell”. And raise hell, he did! So today my friends, we are taking a deep look into what shaped notorious mass murderer Richard Speck and the events that transpired in his life leading up to that bloody night.

The first part of a 2-part series covering serial killer, serial confessor and one -eyed dirtbag Henry Lee Lucas and his sicko sidekick Ottis Toole. If we take what Henry says at face value, we would have to believe that he is responsible for upward of 600 murders in the U.S. So, is he telling the truth? If not, why confess to so many murders? And as far as Henry’s lover, Ottis Toole…he was just as bad and just as vile. Word of advice don’t eat a snack while listening to this one.  It gets rough, but luckily Patrick offers a fair amount of comedic relief in this one. Balance is important.

We all know the 1973 hit film The Exorcist, but did you know it’s based on a true story? And dare we say, the true account is far more frightening than the movie.

For years, the true identities of all those involved in this harrowing incident have been sealed, but as of May 2020, when the last living person involved passed away, we now know who was involved and exactly what happened thanks to the 14 Jesuit Priests who kept a detailed exorcist diary back when this occurred in 1949.
