Sanatan Dharma, aka Hinduism, was present throughout the world in ancient days. One can find evidence of this in almost all the countries. In the forthcoming Podcasts, I shall be sharing researched information on this point. For more detailed information on this subject, you may visit www.ramanisblog.in
- 240 - Thirunageswaram, Invisible Ganesa Secrets
Many of us miss the intricate aspects of Ganesha when we worship other Deities. Many are not aware that Ganapathy am, the Worship of Ganesha is the first of Shanmathas or Six Systems of Worship formulated by Sri Adi Sankaracharya. Ganesha was granted the boon of the Right of First Worship in any pooja, by none other than His uncle Sri Vishnu on Ganesa’ s Birthday . As Ganesa is easily accessible and His idols are present everywhere, His worship is taken for granted and we miss some of the secrets associated with His Worship. At Thirunageswaram, Rahu Parihara Sthala, where the Milk Abhisheka performed to Rahu turns blue, people do not notice the Ganesa Sannidhi,a small one.Normally the Ganesa Sannidhi shall be on the left side of the temple as you enter. In Thirunageswaram, it is on the right side. There used to be a time when people could not enter the temple. People were getting hurt when entering the temple. Prasna,a method of finding out spiritual information, was performed by Kerala Namboodiris. It was found that there were evil spirits in the temples and they were preventing the Devotees from entering the temple.People requested Sree Sadashiva Brahmendra A saint of Advaitic System of Adi Sankaracharya and a Mantra ,Yantra Sadhaka and Sanskrit Devotional Composer , to solve the problem. He established a Ganesha Vigraha and a Ganesha Yantra. Huge flames rose and drove away the evil spirits. Since then, people have had no trouble visiting the temple. The astonishing thing is the Ganesha Vigraha and the Yantra is not visible to us. Rahu Sthala is a term that refers to a temple dedicated to the deity Rahu, one of the nine celestial bodies (Navagrahas) in Hindu astrology. ⁴ Rahu is the north lunar node, and is associated with eclipses, illusions, and karmic retribution. ⁴ One of the most famous Rahu Sthala temples is the Tirunageswaram Naganathar Temple in Tamil Nadu, India. ¹ This temple is also one of the Pancha Bhuta Sthalams, which are five temples dedicated to Shiva, each representing a manifestation of the five prime elements of nature: earth, water, fire, air, and ether. ² The Tirunageswaram temple represents the element of air, and the lingam (symbol of Shiva) here is called Vayu Lingam. ² The Tirunageswaram temple is also known as Rahu Stalam, because it is believed that Rahu worshipped Shiva here to get rid of a curse from a snake. ¹ According to legend, Rahu was once caught drinking the nectar of immortality along with the gods, and was beheaded by Vishnu. The head became Rahu and the body became Ketu, another celestial body. Rahu then prayed to Shiva at this temple, and was blessed with the power to cause solar and lunar eclipses. ¹ The temple has a separate shrine for Rahu, where he is depicted with a human body and a serpent head. The idol is made of a special stone that absorbs milk. Devotees offer milk to Rahu during a ritual called Rahu Kala Puja, which is performed every day at 12 noon. It is believed that worshipping Rahu at this temple can bring relief from the negative effects of his planetary position in one’s horoscope, such as diseases, debts, enemies, and obstacles. ¹ Another famous Rahu Sthala temple is the Srikalahasteeswara Temple in Andhra Pradesh, India. ³ This temple is also one of the Pancha Bhuta Sthalams, and represents the element of ether. The lingam here is called Akasha Lingam. More at Ramanisblog --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/ramanispodcast/message
Tue, 10 Oct 2023 - 03min - 239 - GOD Proof Biology Mathematics Computer
following questions:”What is the meaning of life?” “Why am I here?” “Why does mathematics work, anyway?” “If the universe had a beginning, who created it?” “Why are the physical constants in the universe so finely tuned to allow the possibility of complex life forms?” “Why do humans have a moral sense?” “What happens after we die?” Dr. Collins always assumed that faith was based on purely emotional and irrational arguments, and was astounded to discover, initially in the writings of the Oxford scholar C.S. Lewis and subsequently from many other sources, that one could build a very strong case for the plausibility of the existence of God on purely rational grounds. Actually, Dr. Collins says that he finds no conflict here. Yes, he also claims evolution by descent from a common ancestor is clearly true. He affirms that if there was any lingering doubt about the evidence from the fossil record, then the study of DNA provides the strongest possible proof of our relatedness to all other living things. According to Dr. Collins’ words, he found that there is a wonderful harmony in the complementary truths of science and faith. The God of the Bible is also the God of the genome. God can be found in the cathedral or in the laboratory. By investigating God’s majestic and awesome creation, science can actually be a means of worship. God Proved by Mathematics. When Gödel died in 1978, he left behind a tantalizing theory based on principles of modal logic, a type of formal logic that, narrowly defined, involves the use of the expressions “necessarily” and “possibly,” according to Stanford University. So the theorem says that God, or a supreme being, is that for which no greater can be conceived. God exists in the understanding. If God exists in the understanding, we could imagine Him to be greater by existing in reality. Therefore, God must exist. God Proved by Computer . Using an ordinary MacBook computer, they have shown that Gödel’s proof was correct, at least on a mathematical level, by way of higher modal logic. In their initial submission on a research server, “Formalization, Mechanization, and Automation of Gödel’s Proof of God’s Existence,” the pair say that “Goedel’s ontological proof has been analysed for the first-time with an unprecedented degree of detail and formality with the help of higher-order theorem provers.” But unsurprisingly, there is a rather significant caveat to that claim. In fact, what the researchers in question say they have actually proven is a theorem which was put forward by the renowned Gödel, and the real news isn’t about a Supreme Being, but rather what can now be achieved in scientific fields using superior technology. The mathematicians say that their proof of Gödel’s axioms has more to do with demonstrating how superior technology can help bring about new achievements in science. Benzmüller and Paleo believe that their work can benefit areas such as artificial intelligence and the verification of software and hardware. I have quoted from sources in this article and I will post on how God is proved by Indian Philosophy through Intuition,Faith,Logic and Personal experience. Deatils of Sri Vidya . Some more texts. https://ramanisblog.in/2014/04/09/devi-upasana-authoritative-texts-to-follow/ The Lalitha Sahasranama begins addressing the Goddess as The Mother , Mother of Prosperity, “Sri Matha, Maharajne’ As Knowledge of Prosperity Sri Vidya it gives scope for prosperity in this world through Saguna Upasana and for Beyond by Nirguna Uapasana. Sri Vidya combines Gnana, Bhakti, Karma and Raja Yoga and synthesizes them in one format. It also provides for Dualism,Dwaita and Advaita in worship. As a Devotee if one worshps the Devi as different from the Self, it becomes Dwaita. When Sri Vidya is practiced as the raising of Kundalini through the Chakra in the Human Body it becomes Yoga. In Kunḍalini yoga, one realizes divine consciousness through the activation of the hidden energy of Kunḍalini There are six centers (cakras) in the spinal channel. Kunḍalini is said to be initially coiled up at mulādhara. She is the Mother. She passes through these six from mulādhara at the bottom of spine to ajna at the forehead, then to the crown of the head (sahasrāra) where individual consciousness fully unites with cosmic consciousness. When you concentrate on the Unity of Shiva and Shakti, it Unites Shaiva and Shakta.(Aikyaanusnathaanam) When one meditates on the Devi as an expression of the Universal Self, Brahman, it is Advaita. https://ramanisblog.in/2014/03/27/sri-vidya-mantra-tantra-vidyas-sources-details/ --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/ramanispodcast/message

Though Hinduism advocates The Realization of the Self, which is a Principle and beyond Attributes,Hinduism recommends worship of gods in the form of Idols. In this sense in Hinduism,God exists in Form and at the same time does not. For details read my post ‘God Exists, Yes And No’ Worship of Gods in Human forms that in a form which one likes is special feature of Hinduism. In theory therefore there are, in this perspective, as many Gods as there are tendencies , Details of Worship of Gods is also provided. Of the innumerable Gods and Goddesses, Adi Shankaracharya chose Six and regulated the worship , The Shanmathas. Please read my blog on this. There are various ways one can worship these Gods and Goddesses. Goddess Lalitha is worshiped in Four different ways The worship of Goddess Lalitha is called Sri Vidya. The Sri Vidya is to be practiced by any of the following Four ways, traditions 1.Samayacharam. Worshiping in The Mind Worship is done mentally, internally and no object is used in this tradition 2.Dakshinacharam,Worshiping through an Object, Sri Chakra or an Idol. 3.Vamacharam is worshiping through the terrible aspects of The Divine, Laya Pradhana Kaulacharam is worshiping through the Human Body/parts. https://ramanisblog.in/2022/09/29/sri-lalitha-sahasranama-poorvaanga-19-to-31-english-lecture/ --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/ramanispodcast/message

Mon, 19 Jun 2023 - 07min - 211 - India Was A Part of Bharatha Varsha
Russian Influence on India. Recently I came across a research paper by a Russian researcher on the history of the world that it was Russia which gave the Vedas, The Vimanas, Philosophy And the sciences to the world and not India. I was not surprised. Because, The Vedas were composed in the Arctic, Shiva with his son Ganesha left India through the western part of India, traveled through the western world before arriving at the Arctic to compose the Rig Veda . He returned to India with His son through Russia, Rig Vedic Swasthik Mandala City is found in Arkaim, Russia, Siberians worship Ayur Devatas,(many Hindus are not aware of these Devathas!) Krishna's son Pradhyumna founded the city of Port Baijn, Russia was called Sthree varsha, Land of women ,ruled by women, Lake Baikal is Vaikanasa Theertha, Indra's city Amravathi was in Russia, Russian Veda is Santi Veda Caspian sea is the Kashyap Sagar…… and there is another puzzle, India is referred in Sankalpa, which is recited before any religious function,as Bhata Kande. Bhatara kande means The continent of Bharatha,an ancient Emperor of India and the land mass of which it forms a part is referred to as Bharatha Varsha. The point is it is already stated as Bharatha Varshe as a land mass . then why the the term Bharatha kande, Bharata's Continent to indicate India? Hindu system of tagging is from the Bigger to to smaller. If Bharatha Kanda is India,Greater India , what is Bharat Varsha? It should be a bigger landmass. Evidence of super continents like Pangea, Archea, Rodinia are proved by Geology . The land mass was quite huge. So the reference to Bharatavarsha is to a larger landmass than Bhartaha Kanda, the land of Bharatha, currently referred to as India. Another pointer in this direction is that, it is tradition to say Bharatavarsha, irrespective of here one lives, even if he were to be in the US, Australia or Europe. The answer to the puzzle lies in the description of Bhu Mandala, The Earth. I recently came across a research paper by a Russian researcher stating that Russia, not India, was responsible for giving the world the Vedas, Vimanas, philosophy, and sciences. This claim did not surprise me because of various pieces of evidence that suggest a strong connection between ancient Russia and India. For instance, it is believed that the Vedas were composed in the Arctic, and Shiva and Ganesha left India through the western part of India, traveled to the Arctic to compose the Rig Veda, and returned to India through Russia. The Rig Vedic Swasthik Mandala City can be found in Arkaim, Russia, and Siberians worship Ayur Devatas, which many Hindus may not be aware of. Krishna's son Pradhyumna founded the city of Port Baijn in Russia, which was called Sthree Varsha or the land of women ruled by women. Lake Baikal is also considered Vaikanasa Theertha, and Indra's city Amravathi was in Russia. Moreover, the Russian Veda is known as Santi Veda, and the Caspian Sea is referred to as the Kashyap Sagar. Interestingly, India is referred to as Bharatha Kande in the Sankalpa recited before any religious function. Bhata Kande means the continent of Bharatha, an ancient Indian emperor, and the land mass of which it forms a part is referred to as Bharatha Varsha. However, the term Bharatha Kande refers to Bharata's continent to indicate India, suggesting a larger landmass beyond India. The Hindu system of tagging refers from the bigger to the smaller, indicating that Bharatha Kanda is Greater India. Therefore, Bharatavarsha, which is mentioned irrespective of where one lives, even in the US, Australia, or Europe, should refer to a larger landmass than Bharatha Kanda. This larger landmass is believed to be described in the concept of Bhu Mandala, the Earth. Geology has proven the existence of supercontinents like Pangea, Archea, and Rodinia, suggesting that the landmass in ancient times was quite huge. Thu, 23 Mar 2023 - 05min - 210 - Ninety Six Components of the Human Body
Basic Principles Of Human Body 96, Siddha's Description.. Siddhas are Realized Souls. Realization, as described in the Yoga Sutras, broadly, are two types. One is Savikalpa Samaddi, where the Realized Soul carries on with the normal way of Life while being immersed in the Brahman. Nirvakapla Samadhi is that where the Realized Ones withdraw themselves into Godhead and may not be active in day-to-day activities. Ramana Maharshi is an example of a Rishi in Savikalpa Samadhi. Siddhas belong to a Category , not mentioned in these two types. For any Yogi, the Human body disintegrates, that is they die. Siddhas do not die, transcend Time and Space, assume any Form in any Plane of Existence. Though there are many Siddhas, 18 ae listed as the most Revered Ones. For details on Siddhas , read my posts on Siddhas. Siddhas were great Doctors, well versed in treating diseases with natural herbs. They have described 96 Principles that govern the Human Body. They are, Elements 5 1. Earth 2. Water 3. Fire 4. Air 5. Space 2. Karma 3. Maya (Delusion) Three Humors 3 1. Vatham = Air + Space 2. Pitham = Fire 3. Kapham = Earth + Water Physical Bindings– 3 1. Material Bindings 2. Offspring Bindings 3. Worldly Bindings Cosmic Qualities 3 1. Sattva (Pure) 2. Rajas (Passion) 3. Tamas (Ignorance) Acts – 1. Good Acts 2. Bad Acts Passions 8 1. Desire 2. Hatred 3. Stingy 4. Lust 5. Pride 6. Internal Conflict 7. Mockery 8. Ego States Of Consciousness 5 1. Wakefulness 2. Dream 3. Sleep 4. Repose (Tranquil Or Peaceful State) 5. Insensibility To Surroundings. Next to the Tattvas, in the human body there exists of 72000 blood vessels, 13000 nerves and ten main arteries. 4448 diseases are caused by the imbalance of the three humors. Hinduism is a religion that flows from Nature and its principles. It understands the limitations of human nature and suggests ways to realize the Self through and with the help of human senses, limited though they are. The Universe is complex ,mysterious and billions of years old. It is not obligated to reveal its secrets to a human being, whose life span,in the Universal scale of Time is not even the wink of eyelids. Hindu Rishis,Seers, with the help of fundamental principles of Nature devised methods to realize Self. Broadly speaking, the human psyche has two components,Reason and Emotion. Ideally, discipling of either of these will lead to Self Realization. However,in most of us a combination of Reason and Emotion rules the roost, though it is emotion that decides ultimately.Huma nature is a combination of three dispositions. Sattva, calm, contented, knowlegeable, Rajas, active, dynamic and restless and Tamas, inactive, dull and morose. It is rare to find one disposition,Guna, in isolation. The three gunas are present in all of us in varying degrees. And this composition changes every minute. For details please read my article on Gunas. And there are as many dispositions,Gunas as there are individuals. So there is no standard procedure for all. However,Rishis have traveled this path and left their experiences for us to have an idea. Once an individual starts this process through a, Guru,he shall find his unique path and the Guru will help him identify the path. So it is left to the individual to choose a path, either from the paths shown by the Rishis ,modify it to suit his disposition with the help of the Guru or follow a path intuitively felt and follow it with guidance from the Guru. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/ramanispodcast/message
Sun, 19 Mar 2023 - 02min - 208 - Sunrise Sunset Temple Centre Earth Axis Tilt Design Madurai Meenakshi
(voice by Joey https://readloud.net/english/american/3-male-voice-eric.html) Temples in India are not only a place for Spiritual development but they were also for social purposes like feeding the poor during Drought,Floods and for providing shelter during natural calamities. Not only this, these temples were architectural marvels but they were also built with advanced instruments of which we know not much, but these temples were also designed with astronomy in mind. Thus we have Sun's rays falling at the feet of the Idol on a particular time of the day, five times a day, where shadow doesn't fall despite in the Sun…. I have written many articles on this. Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple, Madurai,Tamil Nadu is dedicated to Devi as Meenakshi and Her Consort,Siva as Somasundara. This temple has many unique features including the fact that the One thousand pillared hall's replica is found in Central America. The temple has four towers, Gopurams. They are atleast 45 metres in height. Yet, you can see the Sunrise and Sunset from the Centre of the temple. The reason is that it is built at an angle of 23 and a half degrees coinciding with the axis of earth. Other temples are built without an angle with respect to rising and setting of the Earth's Axis. This temple is built very straight to north and south. ‘It was just before 500 years that Galileo discovered that the Earth's rotational axis is tilted at an angle of 23.5 degree to the ecliptic plane. Calculating this tilt, 1000 years before the architectures made the N-E-W-S directions exactly with 180 degree and constructed these gopurams. Sat, 18 Mar 2023 - 01min - 207 - Leaning Siva Temple in Ganga
Leaning Temple of Rateneshwar, Varanasi Also known as Matri-rin Mahadev or Kashi Karvat, Ratneshwar Mahadev Temple has to be one of the most photographed temples in the holy city of Banaras. An image of this temple is almost guaranteed to appear in any promotional materials about the ancient city, it is probably the most recognisable monument along the ghats for foreign visitors. The location of this temple is also a curious one. Rather than being built at a higher level and protected from the high flood waters of the Ganga during the monsoon season, it appears that the builders made a conscious decision to construct the temple in a location where for many months of the year it would be partially underwater.Today it would be all too easy to assume that the location of this temple and its leaning aspect is an anomaly, but there is plenty of evidence to suggest otherwise. Many paintings of the ghats from the early to mid 19th century depict leaning temples close to the Ganga, so it would appear that Ratneshwar Mahadev is now a lone survivor of this phenomenon. We also have documentary evidence of these leaning temples. The artist William Daniell writing in The Oriental Annual in 1834 observed : One of the most extraordinary objects to be witnessed at Benares and which is generally one of great curiosity to the stranger, is a pagoda standing in the river, there is nothing to connect it with the shore. The whole foundation is submerged, and two of the towers have declined so much out of the perpendicular as to form an acute angle with liquid plain beneath them….It has been surmised, and with probability, that this temple was originally erected upon the bank of the river, which then offered a firm and unsuspected foundation ..During the Winter and Spring months the water levels of the great Ganga are low enough to permit access without getting your feet wet. It's worth a quick exploration, there's some nice carvings that have remained in remarkably good condition considering the length of time this temple is submerged each year The claim is true. The Ratneshwar Mahadev Temple is situated at Manikarnika Ghat, Varanasi. The temple has developed a nine-degree slant. It is also referred to as Kashi Karvat (Kashi is the ancient name for Varanasi and karvat means leaning in Hindi). A Times Now report said that one of the beliefs held regarding the temple is that the ‘ghat' had collapsed and leaned backwards after not being able to withstand its weight. The temple supposedly stood straight before the 1860s. An Indian Travel Photography Blog, Kevin Standage, stated that the temple is famous for having a tilt of about nine degrees. Below are screenshots from the blog which shows the temple from varied angles:. The Ratneshwar Mahadev Temple, also known as Matri-rin Mahadev or Kashi Karvat, is a well-known temple in the holy city of Varanasi. It is a popular tourist attraction and is often featured in promotional materials for the city. The temple's unique location is also of interest, as it was built partially underwater for many months of the year. Although this may seem unusual, there is evidence to suggest that this was not uncommon for temples along the Ganga in the 19th century. In fact, many paintings from the early to mid-19th century depict leaning temples close to the river. One such temple was described in detail by the artist William Daniell in The Oriental Annual in 1834. He observed that the temple was standing in the river without any connection to the shore, and two of its towers had declined so much out of the perpendicular that they formed an acute angle with the liquid plain beneath them. He surmised that the temple was originally erected on the riverbank when it offered a firm and unsuspected foundation. The Ratneshwar Mahadev Temple is situated at Manikarnika Ghat, Varanasi, and has a nine-degree slant. It is believed that the ghat collapsed and leaned backwards after being unable to withstand the temple's weight. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/ramanispodcast/message

The treasures of Sanatan Dharma is so rich and huge one may not even touch its periphery in one’s Lifetime If one were to give up linguistic and regional bias, one may unearth these treasures. I have in many of my posts written on the myth of Tamil and Sanatana Dharma being inimical to each other They complement each other. If one were to read the Vedic texts and ancient Tamil Texts one may notice the following points 1.Shiva is not directly mentioned in the Vedas nor do we find any sukthas ascribed/devoted to Him.His name appears in Sri Rudram, Rudra being an amsa of Shiva and not Shiva in His full Glory 2.Other Gods,Narayna, Vishnu,Varuna, Indra,Agni,Vaayu,Durga, Lakshmi and a Host of others are mentioned in the Vedas 3.Ancient Tamil Spiritual texts mention the following Deities and the earliest Grammar work Tholkaapiyam assigns the territories in which they are the Chief Gods. A).Kurinji, mountainous terrain, Chief Deity is, Cheyon(means The son) called Murugan , that is Subrahmanya . Interestingly Vedas do not mention Subrahmanya directly. B)Mullai, Pastoral lands, the Chief Deity is Maayaon, Vishnu.Maayon means Illusionist, one who creates the Yoga maaya .This is in keeping with the. description of Vishnu in Vedas and the Puranas. C).Marutham, Paddy fields/arable lands, Chief Deity is Indra.. D)Neydhal, Sea and adjoining areas , Chief Deity is Varuna and E)Paalai, Desert Region, Chief Deity is Durga, called Kotravai in Tamil. Even in Tamil, which is believed to have been founded by Lord Shiva,He is not assigned a Region in the manner described above 4.The Yoga system of the Vedic system is by Patanjali. 5.Patanjali is a disciple of Shiva along with Sage Agastya and Bhogar according to Tamil Classics 6.The Yoga developed Thirumoolar, meaning The auspicious first in his Thirumandiram is different from Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra. 7.Yoga developed by Agastya follows Thirumoolar and is different from Patanjali’s. The meaning Shiva in Sanskrit is Auspiciousness. Mangalam. No other meaning is assigned to this word. In Tamil the etymology is slightly different.. Shiva is from Vaa Si. Vaasi when repeated in quick succession. Mon, 13 Mar 2023 - 02min - 204 - Borobudur Buddhist Temple Designed As Sri Chakra Meru Sri Yantra
In Indonesian, ancient temples are referred to as candi; thus locals refer to “Borobudur Temple” as Candi Borobudur. The term candi also loosely describes ancient structures, for example gates and baths. The origins of the name Borobudur, however, are unclear. The Temple has 1460 relief panels and 504 effigies of Buddha in its complex. If seen from the air and from the small reproduction of it in the museum and it was made in the form of a Hindu Meru which is a vertical representation of the Sri Yantra. Apparently this was the shape of a Buddhist mandala. The height of the whole edifice before renovation was 42 meters. Now it is only 34.5 meters since the lowest level has been used as a supporting base. Two ancient Ganesha statues are at the entrance but there was a pool in front of the hotel in which you found a statue of Lakshmi which had a striking resemblance to the Chinese goddess of prosperity , Kuan More www.ramanisblog.in --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/ramanispodcast/message

The surprising claims were outlined in a new research paper published by the Main Astronomical Observatory of Ukraine’s National Academy of Science Unidentified area phenomena . The paper, titled “Unidentified area phenomena I. Observations of events,” claims that researchers have detected numerous UFOs from two meteor observation stations in Kyiv and the village of Vinarivka, about 75 miles outside the capital. “We see them everywhere. We observe a significant number of objects whose nature is not clear,” the authors of the paper write. “Flights of single, group and squadrons of the ships were detected, moving at speeds from 3 to 15 degrees per second.” According to the paper, a “cosmic” is a luminous object that appears brighter than the background of the sky, while a “phantom” is a dark object with “a completely black body that does not emit and absorbs all the radiation falling on it.” The main characteristic of the UFOs observed by Kyiv’s astronomers is their extremely high speed, which can only be detected with specialized equipment. Thu, 27 Oct 2022 - 01min - 201 - Can One Visit Temples within A Year of Death in The Family
Can one visit temples with a year of death in a family Do not visit Temples for one year after Death in the family. Almost all Hindus refrain from visiting the temples (atleast in South India, especially from Tamil Nadu do) for one year from the date on which the death has occurred or from the date of performance of the Gruhayagna (Gregya) ,the Thirteenth Day ceremony. This is an erroneous interpretation of the Sastras, without an understanding the thirteenth day ceremony,Gruha Yagnya, also called as Subasweekaram. The word ‘Gruhayagnam’ means the performance of Yagnas at Home. Householders are not sanctioned to perform the Daily Karmas,Duties, for thirteen days from the date of death in the family. This sanction excludes Sandhyavandan. On the thirteenth day. a Purification ceremony is performed at Home( Punyahavachanam)and people are asked to visit temples. If one is purified to perform Yagnas(Gruhayagnas), it is illogical to proscribe a visit tot the Temples. ( one also finds, I see a comedy in this, many people visit temples during this period except those on Hill Tops;if one can visit a temple, why on earth should one not visit a Temple on the Hill tops?) The other term, Subhasweekara means ,literally,’inviting, embracing Auspiciousness’. Once when you invite auspiciousness to visit you, you can visit temples as well. People must remember that the Vedas do not mention visiting temples at all, though Time that we understand the Karmas and act accordingly with out following some one blindly. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/ramanispodcast/message
Thu, 27 Oct 2022 - 01min - 200 - Blackhole Singularity Brahman
Hinduism speaks of The Brahman, as different from Brahma the Creator,as the Ultimate Reality. It is described as Being, Consciousness and Bliss, Sat, Chit and Ananda. falling into the black hole. The existence of a singularity is often taken as proof that the theory of general relativity has broken down, which is perhaps not unexpected as it occurs in conditions where quantum effects should become important. It is conceivable that some future combined theory of quantum gravity (such as current research into superstrings) may be able to describe black holeswithout the need for singularities, but such a theory is still many years away. According to the “cosmic censorship” hypothesis, a black hole‘s singularity remains hidden behind its event horizon, in that it is always surrounded by an area which does not allowlight to escape, and therefore cannot be directly observed. The only exception the hypothesis allows (known as a “naked”singularity) is the initial Big Bang itself. It seems likely, then, that, by its very nature, we will never be able to fully describe or even understand the singularity at the centre of a black hole. Although an observer can send signals into a black hole, nothing inside the black hole can ever communicate with anything outside it, so its secrets would seem to be safe forever’. https://ramanisblog.in/2015/12/11/blackhole-singularity-describes-brahman-of-hinduism/ --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/ramanispodcast/message
Thu, 27 Oct 2022 - 01min - 199 - Rama Empire , Tamil Civilizations In Sumerian Middle East , Evidence
History of Sanatana goes back to thousands of years, yet we seem to be stuck with three thousand years of History! Evidence abounds around the world, indicating the presence of Sanatana Dharma and Vedic Practices. Remnants of Vedic practices are found in all world cultures. In this article, we shall examine the presence of Sanatana Dharma in the Middle East during ancient times. The Sumerian/ Assyrian culture were intricately connected to Tamil and Sanatana Dharma. A Tamil-Brahmi script inscribed on a potsherd, which was found at the Khor Rori area in Oman, has come to light now. The script reads “nantai kiran” and it can be dated to first century CE, that is, 1900 years before the present. The discovery in the ancient city of Sumhuram has opened a new chapter in understanding the maritime trade of the Indian Ocean countries, according to specialists in history. 1.Lord Rama’s Chapel was found in UR, Iraq.*grandson of Atlas, Horus. Rama was instrumental in defeating Seth in the area now called Egypt and covered Middle East. ‘ ‘conflicting objectives resulted in deadly warfare between Osiris and his brother Seth. Leading Osiris’s Egyptian armies was Osiris’ eldest son Horus. After Osiris’ unfortunate ‘death’, Horus succeeded his father as king of the Libyan/Egyptian Empire. Intuitively, Horus knew what would happen when they landed in Libya. He completely distrusted his uncle. Horus persistently warned his father about Seth’s stubbornness and treachery. Osiris, believing in the goodness of the human heart, initially ignored his son’s advice. Subsequently, Osiris landed in Libya and after Seth’s abdication became Emperor’ After the demise of Osiris, his son Horus entered into a pact with Rama Empire(Emperor Zata’ar’s eldest son, Prince Rama.) to defeat Seth, the usurper. This new Indus river civilization allowed Horus to establish a temporary chain of powerful fortress cities in the Sinai. Thus, Horus was able to attack Seth’s forces and later kill Seth in a mighty battle. And when forces attacked Rama at Rishi Valley , they were defeated by Rama.https://ramanisblog.in/2015/10/22/ramas-war-with-atlantis-ramayanas-missing-chapter/ On the basis of these findings, it may be postulated that Rama Empire was the forerunner, or one of the earliest Civilizations in Sumeria / Middle East. Fri, 21 Oct 2022 - 28min - 196 - Earth Breathes at OMs Resonance @ 7.83 Hz. Scientific Study.
The sound OM (A,U,M) is the sacred chant of Sanatana Dharma, Hinduism. Sounds originate from three points in the Human Body. From the Mouth, Throat and Abdomen. The alphabets of any and every Language must have these letters. Atom to the Galaxies. So when the is a stimuli there is electro magnetic activity. Ultimately our brain decodes everything electro magnetically and it is converted into understandable message when they are processed and sent back. These vibrations as understood in the light of electromagnetism has thrown some interesting results. As said earlier, every thing vibrates, including the Earth. And Vibration causes resonance. Earth moves, is in Motion and hence Vibrates. So it ought to produce Electro Magnetic Waves. Schumann resonances are the principal background in the electromagnetic spectrum beginning at 3 Hz and extending to 60 Hz, and appear as distinct peaks at extremely low frequencies (ELF) around 7.83 (fundamental),14.3, 20.8, 27.3 and 33.8 Hz. In the normal mode descriptions of Schumann resonances, the fundamental mode is a standing wave in the Earth–ionosphere cavity with a wavelength equal to the circumference of the Earth. This lowest-frequency (and highest-intensity) mode of the Schumann resonance occurs at a frequency of approximately 7.83 Hz, but this frequency can vary slightly from a variety of factors, such as solar-induced perturbations to the ionosphere, which comprises the upper wall of the closed cavity.[citation needed] The higher resonance modes are spaced at approximately 6.5 Hz intervals Schumann Resonance. Studies indicate the chanting of OM produces the same frequency as that of Earth, 7.83 Hz. Resonances of earth, ie, 7.83, 13.7, 19.6, 25.5, 31.4, 37.3 and 43.2 Hertz of earth. We all know 7.83 hz being the strongest of all, OM or Schumann frequency. Ohm- 7.83Hz Gam – 13.7Hz Hleem – 19.6Hz Hreem – 25.5Hz Kleem – 31.4Hz Krowm – 37.3Hz Sreem – 43.2Hz The Schumann Resonances are the result of cosmic energy build-up within the cavity that exists between Earth’s highly conductive surface and the conducting layer in the upper atmosphere called the ionosphere. the space between the surface of the earth and the conductive ionosphere acts as a waveguide. The cavity is naturally excited by energy from lightning strikes. This ionospheric charge creates an electrical shield around the Earth.. The atmosphere is a dielectric insulator, which separates the two. Thus a spherical capacitor as well as a spherical resonator is created and maintained. Electrical signals of sufficient wavelength (low-frequency) are wave-guided around and around between this “sphere within a sphere” and is the base Schumann Resonance of 7.8Hz mainly traveling from West to East. 7.83 HZ or the ALPHA frequency is the gateway that leads into deeper states of consciousness. Most people are in an alpha state during the short time immediately before they fall asleep and when the conscious nervous system switches over to the subconscious. more information in the article OM Earth’s Breath 7.83 Hz,Schumann Resonance --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/ramanispodcast/message

Thu, 20 Oct 2022 - 39min - 194 - 25000 Years Old Krishna Idol Increases Life To 110 Years CIA Verification
Information provided here has been checked for being a Hoax. It does not seem so. Wiki answers quote this story. An Idol of Lord Vishnu, Kalpa Vigraha, with Shiva and Parvati in it, belonging to the Dwapara Yuga, Carbon dated 26450 years, was with the CIA. The CIA was handed over the Kalpa Vigraha bya Tibetan Monk for Safe Custody and left some instructions. The CIA conducted experiments with the kalpa Vigraha. The CIA conducted some experiments that involved making subjects drink water in which the vigraha was immersed for nine days. Upon monitoring the lives of all the subjects who drank this water it was found that they all lived unusually long lives. Many had crossed the age of 110. It was this astounding discovery, a direct result of the experiments, which made breaking news when retired CIA officials revealed this to the media in 2008 The Water was charged with the idol and individuals from far and wide of the Unite States were given the charged water to drink. The officials , at that time, did not know what to expect. After some time the experiment was discontinued and the records were buried deep in the Vaults of the CIA. The information came out from a Retired CIA officer. The Kalpa Vigraha went missing and at the last count it was reported to be with an employee of IT industry or with a Soft ware professional in Hyderabad , Andhra Pradesh, India. The Kalpa Vigraha of Vishnu. The Kalpa Vigraha is a small crude brass idol weighing about 47.10 gms depicting a deity resembling the Hindu god Shiva kneeling or seated on one knee, a serpant’s hood forming a canopy above the head of the idol. In the right hand of the figure was a discus or circular weapon, perhaps the “sudharshan-chakra” of Hindu mythology. Around its neck was a string of beads. The metal formed three “loops” on one side caused by the snake, an arm holding a conch-shell and the discus. It measured about 5.3 cm tall and about 4.7 cms wide, with an oval base 2.5 cms long and 1.7 cms wide. The Kalpa Vigraha idol was reportedly found placed inside this heavy metal-lined wooden chest with a socket-and-pivot hinged lid and an ancient loop-and-rod lock assembly . The chest itself presented a curiosity, as the space within the box was barely 8 X 8 X 8 inches while the timber pieces used to construct all its five sides was about 8 inches thick each! The timber of which the lid of the chest was made also measured about 6 inches in thickness. The teak-wood timber was further protected by a 1-inch thick bronze-like alloy plate on all sides which despite severe external corrosion had preserved the teak-wood of the box to a fair extent. The metal plate appears to have been riveted into the teakwood with nails of some similar metal alloy. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/ramanispodcast/message

Babies in the womb. They listen to sounds and are influenced by it. This has been noticed in Legends and Ithihasas of India. In Mahabharata, Abhimanyu learns of Chakra Vyuha when he was in the womb of his mother Subhadra and his father , after teaching him as to how to enter the Vyuha, leaves the bedside without teaching how to get out. Abhimanyu gets killed later in a War having entered the Vyuha and was unable to come out of it. Researches had indicated that babies could listen to the sounds. Now it is understood that they can understand the accents of Mother and can distinguish between accents of languages. Story: Abstract Aims To test the hypothesis that exposure to ambient language in the womb alters phonetic perception shortly after birth. This two-country study aimed to see whether neonates demonstrated prenatal learning by how they responded to vowels in a category from their native language and another non-native language, regardless of how much postnatal experience the infants had Read the article at WordPress Babies Understand Indicate Accent In Uterus. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/ramanispodcast/message

Astapada, Mt. Kangrinboge (the Chinese name) – all these names, real or legendary, belong to one of the holiest and most mysterious mountains in the world – Mount Kailas. Both geography and mythology play roles in the sacred significance of Mount Kailas. This holy mountain rises to an altitude of 6714 meters. It cannot compete with peaks in the nearby Himalayan range, which includes Mount Everest, and its grandeur lies not in height but in its distinct shape – four sheer faces marking the cardinal points of the compass – and its solitary location, free of neighboring mountains that might dwarf or obscure it. Mt. Kailas is regarded as the earthly manifestation of the Hindus’ mythic Mount Meru, or Sumeru, the spiritual center of the universe, the axis mundi in Buddhist and Jain as well as Hindu cosmology. Thu, 13 Oct 2022 - 1h 04min - 183 - Hinduism in Ancient China Sri Nataraja Kalari Payatru and More Evidence
The connection between Hinduism and China runs deep. I have recently posted an article on the connection between China and the influence of Ancient Hinduism in Chinese Religion. Before the advent of Buddhism in China Hinduism was prevalent in China. The spread of Hindu practices did not stop with the worship of Hindu Gods. Unorthodox systems Vaiseshika ,Nyaya, Martial Arts,Kalari, Weapons like Vajra also found their way into China. Names of the Deities were changed to suit the local conditions. In this process, Lord Nataraja also finds a place in China as a Deity, a Protector. ” “Prior to and during the life of the Buddha various principles were embodied within the warrior caste known as theKsatreya (Japanese: Setsuri). This title – stemming from Sanskrit root Ksetr meaning “power,” described an elite force of usually royal or noble-born warriors who were trained from infancy in a wide variety of military and martial arts, both armed and unarmed. In China, the Ksatreya were considered to have descended from the deity Ping Wang (Japanese: Byo O), the “Lord of those who keep things calm.” Ksatreyas were like the Peace force – to keep kings and people in order. Military commanders were called Senani – a name reminiscent of the Japanese term Sensei which describes a similar status. The Japanese samurai also had similar traits to the Ksatreya. Their battle practices and techniques are often so close to that of the Ksatreya that we must assume the former came from India perhaps via China. The traditions of sacred Swords, of honorable self-sacrifice, and service to one’s Lord are all found first in India. “In ancient Hinduism, nata was acknowledged as a spiritual study and conferred as a ruling deity, Nataraja, representing the awakening of wisdom through physical and mental concentration. However, after the Muslim invasion of India and its brutal destruction of Buddhist and Hindu culture and religion, the Ksatreya art of nata was dispersed and many of its teachers slain. This indigenous martial arts, under the name of Kalari or Kalaripayit exists only in South India today. Originating at least 1,300 years ago, India’s Kalaripayit is the oldest martial art taught today. It is also the most potentially violent, because students advance from unarmed combat to the use of swords, sharpened flexible metal lashes, and peculiar three-bladed daggers. When Buddhism came to influence India (circa 500 B.c), the Deity Nataraja was converted to become one of the four protectors of Buddhism, and was renamed Nar (y)ayana Deva (Chinese: Na Lo Yen Tien). He is said to be a protector of the Eastern Hemisphere of the mandala.” More @ Ramanisblog, Ramanisvlog, Ramanispodcast. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/ramanispodcast/message

Mon, 03 Oct 2022 - 30min - 176 - Twelve Strand DNA In Vedic Texts Adhityas Rudras
Present studies and researches have shed more light on DNA. Earlier it was proved that Humans have only two strands of DNA( even now this theory is being followed) But recent researches show that there may be additional Ten DNA Strands , instead of two as is theorized now.’A total of 10 DNA Strands are ‘mutating and awakening’ according to Researchers. These ten strands have been called Junk DNA. Subsequent to the finding of a child with three DNA Strands , researchers are now stating that there may be a total of 12 DNA Strands and ten of them are in the process of mutating and we would have twelve DNA Strands. Is it possible that the information conveys the message that there are 12 DNA Strands? And that they evolve as the Avatars are indicative of the evolutionary process? As the DNA Strands determine our life with coded past information, is it possible that horoscopes represent the records of our past genetic codes affecting and guiding our lives? breathing and his lips turned blue. Led by Dr. Gariaev, the Russians have proven the psychic and linguistic capabilities of DNA—their findings suggest that DNA may be the universal language of spirituality. The new science of “wave genetics” shows that DNA functions like a holographic computer, part of the larger hologram of the information wave reality. Our DNA has the capabilities of hypercommunication—telepathy, remote sensing and remote feeling, along with other psychic abilities. Sat, 24 Sep 2022 - 15min - 172 - What is Navaratri,How To Perform Pooja ,Slokas Details
Nava’ In Sanskrit means Nine,Ratri is Night. Navaratri means nine nights. The origin and the legend are detailed in Wikipedia. The scope of this blog is limited to the period of observance, the poojas to be performed and the meaning of the Poojas. The beginning of spring and the beginning of autumn are two very important junctions of climatic and solar influence. These two periods are taken as sacred opportunities for the worship of the Divine Mother. The dates of the festival are determined according to the lunar calendar. Navaratri represents celebration of Goddess Durga, the manifestation of Deity in form of Shakti [Energy or Power]. The Navaratri festival or ‘Nine Nights festival’ becomes ‘ten days festival’ with the addition of the last day, Vijayadashami which is its culmination. On all these ten days, the various forms of Mother Mahisasura-mardini (Durga) are worshipped with fervor and devotion.’ avoided). Traditional dishes like sundal are offered to visitors. On all these days , Coconut, fruits , betel leaf and nut are to be offered as Naivedyam. I will be blogging details of Sarawathi Pooja and Vijaya Dasami one day earlier to the functions. Valor ,Wealth and Knowledge are the three attributed one needs to succeed in Life. These three aspects are reflected in the personification of these three Deities. While Durga stands for Valor, Lakshmi is for wealth(not merely economic prosperity, but all round happiness and contentment), and Sarasvati for Knowledge and enlightenment. In all these Poojas these deities are invoked and their Blessings are sought. Fri, 23 Sep 2022 - 01min - 170 - Tharpana Mahalaya,Pitru Paksha, Sraddha Explained
The period between New Moon and Full Moon in Simha Maasa (approximately in September)for 15 days is named as Mahalaya Paksha. Lunar Calendar of Hindus divides a month with reference to the waxing and waning of the Moon, into two.(for details on Hindu/Indian Calculation of Time’ please read my Blog’TIME-Non-Linear Theory, filed in Astrophysics). The waxing period is called Sukla Paksha(Sukla in Sanskrit means White, here indicates the waxing of the Moon),ending in Full Moon, Pounima, also called Pournamasya. The waning period is called Krishna Paksha( Krishna means Black),culminating in New Moon called Amavasya. Each Paksha has 14 Days ,one Amavasya and one Pournima makes a Month. One is expected to perform the duties due to the Departed daily, that is do Tharppana daily. This applies all Castes, Brahmana,Kshatriya ,Vaisya and Sudra. We have conveniently omitted to follow the Sastras, by saying that the Srardha and Tharppana are to be performed only by Brahmins . Sastras declare that there is no atonement for failing to perform the Tharppana and Srardha. Of all the curses, Piru Saapa (curse), along with Sumangali Saapa (curse by women who expired when husbands are alive) are the Deadliest. Those who perform these Karmas will be blessed with Children, Grand Children. Wealth;will be free of chronic diseases, irritating circumstances and inexplicable problems in the family. If the ancestors Bless us( we are here because of them), God follows suit. If parents curse us,(which a parent rarely does) , even God will let us down. https://ramanisblog.in/2011/09/13/mahalaya-amavasyatharpana-explained/ --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/ramanispodcast/message

Those who read my blog posts on Mahalaya would know that I had indicated that there are some dietary restriction to be followed. About a year earlier I posted that the Bhagavad Gita speaks about Food habits in detail and quoted texts with explanation. I have tried these Dietary recommendation to the letter since last Mahalaya Paksha. While I can not comment on the spiritual benefits that could have accrued, I can definitely assert that there was an astonishing improvement in my mental state and disposition. In fact my wife, daughter and son were surprised that I was cool even under pressure, anger had ceased to exist and I was listening to others patiently without interrupting them, a quality which I am not accustomed to. I could feel I remained undisturbed and was in fact was watching things happening around me,even if it involved me, as though I was a spectator. There was no hurry in doing things, no anxiety. There was no heaviness while waking up in the morning. This I could attribute only to the Diet, for there was no significant change in my Lifestyle other than this. Why don’t you try” Diet details. Thu, 22 Sep 2022 - 01min - 166 - Did Rama Destroy the Rama Sethu, Adam's Bridge
The Government of India declared in the Court that the Rama Sethu was destroyed by Rama himself. Raghuvamsham also refers to the Setu. So does the Skanda Purana (III 1.2.1-114), the Vishnu Purana (IV 4.40-49), the Agni Purana (V-XI), the Brahma Purana (138.1-40). And hearing these words of Rama, the genius of Varuna’s abode (Samudra), joining his hands, answered in great affliction, ‘I do not desire to put any obstacle in thy way. I am no foe of thine! Listen, O Rama, to these words, and having listened, do what is proper! If, at thy command, I get a way for the passage of thy army, others then, from strength of their bows, will command me to do the same! In thy army there is aVanara of the name of Nala, who is a skilful mechanic. And endued with great strength, Nala is the son of Tashtri (Viswakarma), the divine artificer of the Universe. And whether it is wood, or grass or stone, that he will throw into my waters, I will support the same on my surface, and thus wilt thou have a bridge (over which to pass)!’ And having said these words, the genius of the Ocean disappeared. And Rama awaking, called Nala unto him and said, ‘Build thou a bridge over the sea! Thou alone, I am sure, art able to do it!‘ And it was by this means that the descendant of Kakutstha’s race caused a bridge to be built that was ten Yojanas in width and a hundred Yojanas in length. And to this day that bridge is celebrated over all the world by the name of Nala’s bridge. And having completed that bridge, Nala, of body huge as a hill, came away at the command of Rama. And while Rama was on this side of the ocean, the virtuous Vibhishana, the brother of the king of the Rakshasas accompanied by four of his counsellors, came unto Rama. And the high-souled Rama received him with due welcome. Sugriva, however, feared, thinking he might be a spy. The son of Raghu, meanwhile perfectly satisfied (with Vibhishana) in consequence of the sincerity of his exertions and the many indications of his good conduct, worshipped him with respect. And he also installed Vibhishana in the sovereignty of all the Rakshasas and made him his own junior counsellor, and a friend of Lakshmana’s. And it was under Vibhishana’s guidance, O king, that Rama with all his troops crossed the great ocean by means of that bridge in course of a month .-Translation by Kisari Mohan Ganguly. (Within the Mahabharata, Markandeya tells the story of the Ramayana to encourage Draupadi after Jayadratha’s attempted kidnapping of her. Within that is a reference to the Rama Sethu which was called as Nala Sethu after the engineer in the time of Veda Vyasa. Wed, 21 Sep 2022 - 02min - 165 - Hanuman Visited Lanka 2014 Visits Regularly
Lord Hanuman (around 5000 BC), one of the Immortals of Hinduism, is reported to have been seen in Sri Lanka in 2014. It is also reported that he visits Lanka regularly a sub tribe of Veddah in lankan Jungles. Hanuman is reported to have visited Lanka, according to this tribe during Vibhishana’s Rule Setu, a spiritual organisation in Sri Lanka is doing research into this and has the following published in their website. I have checked with Hoaxslayer.com for to determine whether this is a fact, but there is no information. I have checked the web, there seems to be no contradiction. More information as to the veracity of this is required. “This mystery tribe is basically a sub-tribe of Veddah who are indigenous people of Sri Lanka. A spiritual organization called Setu is studying this tribe and has come up with some startling revelations. People of this tribe are highly spiritual and completely disconnected from the modern world. They live in their own world of jungle with monkeys and birds. Their history goes back to the Ramayana period. According to Setu, Lord Hanuman roamed in various places of the planet. At that time He visited the kingdom of Vibhishana in Lanka too. He lived with ancestors of this tribe and gave them the knowledge of supreme. Study of Setu reveals that Lord Hanuman comes to meet these people every 41 years and He came to meet them recently this year. Next arrival may happen around year 2055. While Lord Hanuman remains with this tribe, head of the tribe notes down every conversation and incident in a log book. Setu is studying this log book and translating it in modern languages. Setu has posted first chapter of the logbook on their website www.setu.asia which reveals how Lord Hanuman arrived in the jungle few days ago. In first chapter it is mentioned that Lord Hanuman was sitting on the top of a hill of Nuwera Eliya when the head of the tribe went there one evening. In the next chapters it will be described what all Lord Hanuman did with the forest dwellers and what conversations took place between them. Clearly we human beings of digital age may be very advanced in many things but when it comes to the spiritual advancement, these forest dwellers are way ahead than us. While we may see everything with the prism of our self-defined rationality, there are divine things which exist well beyond our small world of “job, home and vacations”. From Setu site : Lord Hanuman visited them recently in 2014. -> Recently this year in 2014, Lord Hanuman visited them. His next visit will happen after 41 years i.e. in 2055. This year, we were in the know of His arrival. We wanted to see Him with our physical eyes. We expressed our desire to head of the tribe. But we could not pass test of the purity required to see Lord Hanuman. We were told that we are not pure souls hence our eyes cannot see Him. At the time of Lord Hanuman’s visit, Mathangs form a sphere of purity around themselves which is called “HanuMandal”. No impure soul can enter into the sphere. They remain within that sphere and interact with Shri Hanuman. More at www.ramanisblog.in --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/ramanispodcast/message

Sat, 17 Sep 2022 - 49min - 161 - Thiruvananthapuram City, Padmanabha Swamy Temple 20,000 Years Old, Study
There are quite a few ancient temples of India which are in good shape. Some of them have been assigned dates before Christ,BC,though reluctantly despite strong evidence that they belong to much earlier times. Please check my articles on 5000 years old temples of India. The Thiruvannamalai temple,Tamil Nadu is dated 3.94 Billion years,Tirupati 2100 million years and Jwalapuram, Cuddapah,Telengana, India is 74,000 years old, There are some more ancient temples like the Pundarikaksha Temple,Thiruvellarai, near Sriranagam, Tamil Nadu. There are many more and I shall be writing about them. The Ananta Padmanabhaswamy temple at Thiruvananthapuram,Kerala is one such ancient temple where the presiding deity is Lord Vishnu in his form as the Infinite one in yoga Nidra. The temple has also been one of the richest temple in India, where billions worth of gold and ornaments have been found sealed in an underground vault and the court had appointed a committee to evaluate the riches. This temple is referred to in the Puranas and Tamil Classics of the Sangam era. What is now Kerala was a part of Tamil Chera Kingdom. Chera kings also enriched the temple and this dynasty goes back to thousands of years. However the temple and the city has been dated to around late first century BC. This is way off the mark. The Tamil epic Silappadikaram, written by Ilangao Adigal, brother of the Chera king, mentions this temple and also details the Thiruvananthapuram temple . Silappadikaram describes the city as golden city and the temple as one which was made of gold. Same descriptionis found in the Puranas. Poompuhar,Tamil Nadu where most of the action of Silappadikaram takes place has been found off the sea and it has been proved that the people of Poompuhar had extensive trade with the Greeks, among others. And now Poompuhar has been dated some 20,000 years back! As Silappadikaram speaks of Thiruvananthapuram and Anantha Padmanabhaswamy temple, these two should have existed before the events narrated in Silapadikaram. As Poompuhar is dated 20,000 years ago, it is reasonable to state that Thiruvananthapuram and Padmanabhaswamy temple date back to 20,000 years.Silappadikaram has been dated to likely belong to the beginning of Common era. The incidence of Kovalan Madhavi and Kannagi took place in the same period as the poet who wrote the Tamil Epic was the brother of the Chera King Cheran Senguttuvan. However the recent finding placed these dates to 11000 years back!So it is logical to arrive at the conclusion that the Silappadikaram Town was in existence around 11000 CE and for a rich language as Tamil to develop, from a dialect, colloquial form and then to literary ,it requires minimum 5000 Years. And Tamil quotes Ithihasas ,Ramayana and Mahabharata and the Vedas. That should place these Ithihasas earlier . Hence based on this evidence available now, Tamil should be at least 16000 years old and the Sanskrit Puranas earlier. Please read my Post Million Year Old Tamil quotes Vedas and they quote Tamil. But we are assigning Tamil Sangam at 5 BC and Rig veda at 5000 BC!The date of Poompuhar artifact was arrived at and verified by Glenn Milne Sea Level changes. The place is called Poompuhar. It lies on southeast India’s Coromandel coast facing the Bay of Bengal between modern Tamil Nadu and Sri Lanka. Its immediate offshore area has been the subject of marine archaeological investigations by India’s National Institute of Oceanography since the 1980’s — and numerous non-controversial finds of man-made structures dated between the third century AD and the third century BC have been made in the “inter-tidal zone” close to shore at depths down to 6 feet (approximately 2 metres). These finds of structures in shallow water (some so shallow that they are exposed at low tide) have been quite widely written-up in the archaeological literature. Fri, 09 Sep 2022 - 06min - 160 - Mahabali Founded Bali ,Discovered Americas ,Polynesia South East Asia?
The Vamana Avatar of Vishnu ,comparatively speaking,is less dicussed about and the temples for Vamana and Vishnu revealing himself as Trivikrama are limited. Vamana’s famius temple from where He took His step to measure the world given to Him by Mahabali is in Kerala and there is a Temple for Trivikrama ,when Vishnu measured the world is in Kanchipuram,Tamil Nadu. The incident narrated about Vamana Avatar is this. King Mahabali ,Grandson of Prahlada and son of Virochana was found harassing the Dhanavas and Lord Vishnu took the Avatar as Vamana,Dwarf to discipline him. Mahabali, because of his pious nature and the boons he had received, was difficult to vanquish by any done by warfare. So,when Mahabali performed a Yagnya,Lord Vishnu,in the form of a Dwarf,Vamana took part in the Yagnya. It is mandatory to gift Brahmins, the Realized ones,at the end of the Yagnya. When Vamana, the Dwarf, asked for Three Feet of Land measured by his feet,Mahabali gave him the gift despite the warning by his Guru Sukracharya. Vamana,it is interpreted, measured the Earth with his first step, the sky with the second and as there was nothing else was available to measure for the third step,Mahabali offered his head as the third step and Vamana pushed Mahabali to Patala Loka and gran.ted him the boon to visit his people once a year. This visitation by Mahabali is celebrated as Onam Festival in Kerala every year even today. Now,Indian texts have three meanings,at least. One is the word to word textual meaning, The second the philosophical interpretation and the third, Historical/esoteric/tantric interpretation. In this incident word by word interpretation narrates the story and conveys that, however mighty one may be,if he is overwhelmed by power and resorts to unrighteous conduct he will be ruined. If he has bee pious,Divine Grace shall prevent total ruin. At the philosophical level, one who is steeped in Ahankaara ,the feeling of ‘I’ and attachments to power and riches would be blessed by Divine Grace to remember his Sattivic Swabhava or nature and realize the Reality. I am providing the historical interpretation below. Kerala was a part of Tamil kingdom in Lemuria and Lemurians were referred to as the Southerners,Dravida and were reported to be in Patala, down the earth. The territories we call as south east Asia Australia were in the south. One must remember that the landmass of the earth was different then. Lemuria and MU territories encompassed these areas. Ramayana and Sumerian texts state that Lemurians lived there. Shiva, who predates Sanatana Dharma was in the south. Shiva’s trishul marks are found as Nazca lines in Peru. The Incas,Mayas were the descendants of the Tamils. https://ramanan50.wordpress.com/2015/02/01/incas-of-peru-ancestors-tamils-celebrate-makara-sankaranti/ You may read more articles on these subjects by following the related articles in the link provided above. Indra and Virochana( father of Bali) are found in Bali. Vedas are called Catur Veda Sira in Bali Ancient Brahmin Village is in Bali Moving to Patala Loka by Bali means that Bali moved further south or down to the areas we now know as SouthEast Asia,Asia-Pacific. The Tolltechs,Incas,Mayas have a close link with Tamils/Keralites. Spanish has affinity to Tamil. ‘Prahlada’s son was Virochana and his son was Bali (Mahabali). When Bali was performing Yagna under supervision of his guru Sukracharya, Vishnu came as Vamana(dwarf or kid) and asked for donation of ‘three pada Bhoomi.’ This is wrongly interpreted as 3 foot land. Infact it is 3 quarters of Land (pada here is similar to nakshatra pada in vedic astrology, where each nakshatra is divided into 4 padas [quarters]). At that time, Bali was ruling over Asia, Europe and Africa. So he donated these 3 human inhabitated lands to Vamana and decided to leave. Vamana was satisfied with Bali and gave him a boon of https://ramanisblog.in/2016/12/26/mahabali-founded-bali-discovered-americas-polynesia-south-eas --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/ramanispodcast/message

While researching material for article on the presence of Sanatana Dharma in the Americas,I chanced upon an article which mentions Pyramid Temple at Benares, Varanasi. The temple was called Bidh Madhu. It seems to have been destroyed by the Mughals(?) In the seventh century AD. I am unable to get additional information on this. ( In the process I came across some new information about the temples destroyed by Mughals. I will be sharing it shortly.) I have been wondering about, 1. Though Hindus, Egyptians and People of Central America,Mayans worshipped Sun in the days, the temples dedicated to Sun differ in design. Temples in India may not look like Pyramids, they do resemble Pyramids. 2. Of twenty sacred sites around the world, seven are from Hinduism. ‘One such is the fact that twenty sites in the world lie in the same Latitude and the distance between them represent the Golden Means/ Fibonacci number..’ One such is the fact that twenty sites in the world lie in the same Latitude and the distance between them represent the Golden Mean’ https://ramanan50.wordpress.com/2016/03/09/twenty-world-spiritual-sites-same-latitude-seven-hinduism/ 2. Benares , Varanasi is the oldest continuously Lived City in the world. 3. Appropriate Bhagavad Gita Verse in Egyptian Pyramids. In one of the Pyramids, dating back to 3000 BC, a verse, from the second chapter of the Bhagavad Gita was found inscribed. The design of the top of Angkorvat has Sreechakra . The design of the temple A Hindu temple more inclined to be a Pyramid. 8.Meru ,used in the worship of Devi is a Pyramid. Would some reader throw light on the temple of Bid Madhu at Varanasi? The spelling of Bidh Madhu might not be correct. Mrs. Zelia Nuttal (1857 -1933) Archaeologist and ethnologist has said: “No country in the world can compare with India for the exposition of the pyramidal cross. the body of the great temple of Bidh Madhu (formerly the boast of the ancient city of Benares…demolished in the 7th century) was constructed in the figure of a colossal cross, with a lofty dome at the center, above which rose a massive structure of a pyramidal form. At the four extremities of the cross there were four other pyramids…A similar building existed at Mathura. By pyramidal towers placed crosswise, the Hindu also displayed the all-pervading sign of the cross. At the famous temple of Chidambaram, on the Coromandel coast, there were seven lofty walls, one within the other, round a central quadrangle, and as many pyramidal gateways in the midst of each side which forms the limbs of a vast cross https://ramanisblog.in/2019/01/07/pyramid-temple-varanasi/ --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/ramanispodcast/message
Thu, 08 Sep 2022 - 02min - 158 - To Siva ' Parvathi Awaits You' Temple
I have been writing this blog for the past nine years on Hinduism, Indian philosophy , it’s traditions, literature, diversity, advanced scientific concepts in ancient times, it’s presence throughout the world and architecture. And I have traveled widely in India, especially Temples. But I was awestruck by a book written by a foreigner in the eighteenth century on the Great temples of India. I have provided the Link to the book towards the close of the article. I am humbled at my ignorance of my own Culture and Religion. I have been under the impression that temples abound in South India when compared to North India. And Kancheepuram,Tamil Nadu is called the City of temples. And Kumbakonam. But the city that had over one thousand temples is, Bhubaneswar/Cuttack. Most of the temples have been demolished by the Mughals. What remains is only a miniscule. To point,I have been able to find a list of about 54 Temples in Bhubaneswar now. What happened to the others? Will someone from Odisha enlighten me with a List of Temples? I plan to write on each of them. One must remember that Kalinga was a region dating back to 25,000 years. I have written on this. Some points o found in the Book I mentioned are quite new to me. 1.Bhubaneswar has more Shiva temples. 2.There is a temple for Yama and for Parasirameshwar. 3. The Bisveswara temple used twenty two ceremonies a day to the Deity. 4. In this temple, Shiva is informed at night before closing the Garbhagruha, ‘Parvati Awaits you’ I recall about temple accounts being read to Madurai Meenakshi Every night. Information about temples requested. We do not seem to know even the existing temples. Less said about the demolished temples, the better. Those who have information, photos of temples that were destroyed, I will be grateful. It is our duty to keep our. Younger generation informed about our glorious heritage. https://ramanisblog.in/2019/01/09/parvati-awaits-you-bhubaneswar-city-of-thousand-temples/ --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/ramanispodcast/message
Thu, 08 Sep 2022 - 02min - 157 - How To Surrender To Devi ,Explains Appaya Deekshita
Hinduism provides for the Worship of the Reality, Brahman, as Gods with Names and Forms. This system of worship is called Saguna Upasana,Worship of One with Attributes. Meditating on Reality as Brahman ,without Attributes is called Nirguna Upasna. One has a tendency towards certain things or people with some qualities. One may like Mother,Father, Teacher,Friend,Lover Wife. The list is innumerable as there are innumerable dispositions. The Form of the Deity or God is determined by the disposition one has towards people. The Gender of the God is also influenced by this disposition. The Attributes that one finds appealing is attributed to the Form thus formed. And these qualities are ascribed to them. These qualities form the Kalyana Gunas of the Deity. These Gunas, Attributes are ascribed in their Purest and Infinite potential. This is not to say that Saguna Upasana is not useful in Self Realisation. On the contrary, this aids people more. This is so ,because not all possess the ability, disposition to meditate on a Principle, Brahman ( Beyond Attributes, that is to understand better I shall use the term ‘ without Attributes ‘though the meaning is different). When one decides to pursue the path of Saguna Upasana, mostly, it results in Bhakthi Yoga,Path of Devotion. When extended further, it leads to total surrender,Saranagadhi. Many Gods, Goddesses are worshipped in Bhakthi Yoga. What is needed in Bhakthi Yoga is total emotional attachment to the Deity. In this article, I shall illustrate life instance from a great Bhakti Yogi, well versed in Sanskrit and Gnana Yogi. What is striking is the total surrender to Devi. Apppaya Dikshita was a great philosopher and Bhakti Yogi. He was an Advaitin and a follower of Siva Advaita of Srikanta. He was also a great Devotee, Upasaka of Devi. He, nearing his death ,asked his grandson ( not directly, but through his sibling) ,Nilakanta Dikshita, who later became a courtier in King Thirumalai Naicker’ s Palace. He was also a great Sadhaka of Devi Meenakshi at Madurai,Who does one approach ‘Apathi Kum Smaraneeyam?’The child replied ‘Smaraneeyam Charana Yugalam Ambayaaha’ That dwell on the Feet of Devi. Appaya dikshita asked’ That smaranam Kim Kuruthe’? What shall happen if we do thus? The child replied ‘ Brahmaaneethi Kingiri Kuruthe’ That is, Even Brahma,Vishnu and Siva ,all devatas included, would serve as Kinkaras for you. Apppaya advised the child, ‘ Then hold onto Her Feet steadfastly. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/ramanispodcast/message
Wed, 07 Sep 2022 - 02min - 156 - Rain Stopping Mantras Procedure
Nature behaves as has been. We assume that, while the going is good,it would always be so. Not so. There is a saying in Tamil that there is none who has prospered continuously for ten years, nor one who has suffered for ten years. Life ,which includes Nature,is a Cycle. Every thing occurs in a Cycle. So are droughts,Astronomical phenomenon and Natural calamities. Few seconds of Earthquakes or Volcanic eruption inflict damage for thousands of years . Man ,in his arrogance, not realising that he can not even be identified as Cosmic speck in the universe, believes ,with his pet toy,Science,he can prevent calamities and Nature. There is something we do not know. Hinduism understands this limitation and devised its religious systems. There are mantras to cure diseases,to bring rainfall. Conversely there are mantras to induce diseases and to prevent natural calamities, like flood, costing lives. I am furnishing mantras to prevent calamities ,limit damages from rain, flood. Tantric system. Basma, ashes are to be taken from the burning ghat. Two bricks are needed. Place one brick on the ground. Draw four vertical lines on it. Then place the other brick on it,after chanting the following mantra, 108 Times, in the image.. Krishna Krishna Mahabaaho Thvan nam Gokulam Prabho, Dhraathumarhasi Devaana Kubhithaath Bhakthavatsala. -Govardhana Uttaranam,Narayaneeyam. Chant for 108 times. 3.For those who know Tamil, following Hymn may be chanted 108 times. It is by Sundarar port by Nayanar, sung at Thirupungur Temple, Tamil Nadu to stop rains. Thu, 01 Sep 2022 - 26min - 154 - Hinduism Fifty Thousand Years, Old Rig Veda
The first Human Literature of th world, The Rig Veda of the Hindu’s is dated around 5000 BC It refers to River Sarasvati which flowed once in India and joined the Arabian Sea. Satellite images have confirmed that river Sarasvati existed and there have research papers stating that a Civilization flourished on the banks of the River Sarasvati. Please read my posts on this. Now there are research papers quoting the Rig Veda , and the recent archaeological evidence , state that there existed another River from the Himalayaso joining the Arabian Sea. And there were urban settlements , numbering around 800! And the same research also states that The RigVeda has also been speaking of this Land mass’ culture. And adds that the Hindus lived even 50, 000 years ago practicing Sanatana Dharma. So, the scientists noticed that it appeared to be older than the European cultures. Since the European languages were related to the Indian language Sanskrit of the Vedas that could only mean that the European peoples had to have come out of India somehow and then gone to Europe with their languages that differentiated into Russian, English, Spanish, German and the rest of them. The European investigators didn’t like that idea because it would have given the Vedic culture a position superior to their own. So, these early cities in the Indus Valley like Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro have been identified by archaeologists such as Richard Meadows and others as being non-Vedic. They think the Vedic culture came into India maybe 3500 years ago.Isn’t that inconsistent with the concept of the Vedas of the Krishna character who comes and says the universe is teeming with life and appears to have knowledge about other habitations in the cosmos and is talking from an age that would go back at least 9,500 years?Isn’t that inconsistent with the concept of the Vedas of the Krishna character who comes and says the universe is teeming with life and appears to have knowledge about other habitations in the cosmos and is talking from an age that would go back at least 9,500 years? In these ancient Sanskrit writings, there is no hint at all that the culture came from anywhere else. And if they are the prime source and if the Vedic literature can be taken literally, then it implies that there were cities there inhabited at least several thousand years ago. Yes, and there has been other research going on in that area. For example, the Rg Veda, which is one of the earliest Vedic literatures, talks about a mighty river called the Saraswati that flowed from the Himalayan mountains down to the Arabian Sea, down in that area of northwestern India. And such a river doesn’t exist there today. So, what happened is that people thought therefore the Rg Veda cannot be talking about India. It has to be talking about some other place outside of India where there was some kind of river. But what happened that is quite interesting a few years ago is that archaeologists in India started studying the satellite photographs from American satellites like LANDSAT had been providing and they noticed there was a dry river channel that began up in the Himalayas, a huge river that went down almost to that Bay of Khambaht (Cambay) we are talking about (the location of the underwater city site). And then later, they found that on the banks of that river there were 800 to 1000 urban sites, archaeological sites. So, it does appear that what the Rg Veda was talking about, a mighty river lined with cities in India over 5,000 years ago – that has to be true. The last time that river had water in it was over 5,000 years ago?Is there a possibility that there could have been some sort of non-human co-habitation on the continent of India let’s say 50,000 years ago that could explain all of the Vedas? Yes. In Kashmir, the valley of Kashmir, it appears it was many years ago a lake. Mon, 15 Aug 2022 - 05min - 153 - Hinduism Speaks on Motherland
Had some one informed our leaders that our current National Motto,Sayameva Jayate, Truth Alone Triumphs, is from Mundaka Upanishad, it might not have been chosen as our emblem! Such is the attitude to our Motherland, deeply immersed we are ,in western thoughts. What do our Scriptures say about Mother Land and our duty? Many, on an overdrive to honour Hinduism, quote, ‘“Janani Janma-bhoomi-scha Swargadapi Gariyasi” Translated as “Mother and motherland are superior to Heaven.” It is also reported that this verse appears in the Ramayana in the form of a dialogue between Rama and Lakshmana, and the quote is attributed to Rama(Yudddha Kanda) This is incorrect. The verse’s origin is unknown. It may be noted that this verse is the National Motto of Nepal. What do Vedas and the Ithihasas, Ramayana and Mahabharata say on Motherland and Patriotism! The attitude of Sanatana Dharma to world is, Vasudeva Kudumbakam’ The whole world is Vasudeva’s(Krishna) Family. The whole world is Vasudeva’s(Krishna) Family. Mata ca Parvati Devi Pita Devo Maheswaraha, Baandavaa Siva Bhaktaasca, Swadeso Bhuvana thrayam'(Shankaraccharya) Shiva is my Father, Parvati, my mother, Devotees of Shiva are my relatives, The whole world, the three worlds, is Mine’ Tamil, another anient language of India says, Yaadum oore, Yaavarum Kelir’ Every land is mine, Every one is my friend’ Such being the approach, one does not find any direct reference to Motherland. For Hinduism, even thinking of anything less than the Universe is an aberration. Every thing in the Universe belongs to every one. Hence every one must be Happy. All Shanthi Mantras insist on this point. Om Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah Sarve Santu Nir-Aamayaah | Sarve Bhadraanni Pashyantu Maa Kashcid-Duhkha-Bhaag-Bhavet | Om Shaantih Shaantih Shaantih || Meaning: Om, May All become Happy, 2: May All be Free from Illness. 3: May All See what is Auspicious, 4: May no one Suffer. 5: Om Peace, Peace, Peace. Om Sarveshaam Svastir-Bhavatu | Sarveshaam Shaantir-Bhavatu | Sarveshaam Purnnam-Bhavatu | Sarveshaam Manggalam-Bhavatu | Om Shaantih Shaantih Shaantih || Meaning: 1: May there be Well-Being in All, 2: May there be Peace in All, 3: May there be Fulfilment in All, 4: May there be Auspiciousness in All, 5: Om Peace, Peace, Peace. ॐ शं नो मित्रः शं वरुणः । शं नो भवत्वर्य 50;ा । शं नो इन्द्रो बृहस्पति 07; । शं नो विष्णुरु 52;ुक्रमः । Om Sham No Mitrah Sham Varunnah | Sham No Bhavatv-Aryamaa | Sham No Indro Brhaspatih | Sham No Vissnnur-Urukramah | It is not just land, but state/society is also praised as mother-goddess by the Veda. The mother says “aham rastrii” in the thirdmantra of Vaagaambhrini sukta (mandala 10, sukta 25 of Rigveda). She further says she causes wellbeing and prosperity of the peoples, all actions of men and gods are inspired by her, and she is the purpose of those actions. Moreover, Bharatavarsha covered he entire world. Hindus have the concept of state and society right from remote past. The concept of nation was not prevalent in the world a few centuries ago, except in Bharat. But the sense was not political/ military in nature – it was cultural and spiritual. Actions of every individual affect the society and every change in the society affects individuals. The actions that are inspired by this awareness are beneficial to individuals as well as the society. If that awareness is lacking, then individual interests alone inspire people’s actions and individuals’ vision becomes narrow. Tue, 09 Aug 2022 - 01min - 151 - How To offer Food to God.Naivedyam,Thiruvaaradhanam
It is the practice of the Hindus to offer Food to God before taking food. The cooked Food is placed before the image /photo of God in a vessel, normally reserved only for this purpose. The vessel should be covered with a lid and a portion of the lid is to be open with the steam from the freshly cooked food, coming out. Then Water in a vessel is taken and in a specially designed Spoon and sprinkled around the vessel three times with the chanting of these Mantras. OM ‘Praanaaya swaahaa… Apaanaaya swaahaa… Vyaanaaya swaahaa… Udaanaaya swaahaa… Samaanaaya swaahaa… Brahmane swaahaa ! Amruthostharanamasi” Food that can be offered as Naivedyam or Thiruvaaaradhanam. Only Vegetarian. Fruits,Nuts,Dry Fruits,Milk,Honey,Coconut,Betel Leaves with Arecanut. Of cooked foods ,any thing can be offered. Recommended is Cooked Rice in full(no part food in a plate) with Celery(Toor Dal and Ghee) The food should be prepared after taking bath. It is advisable to offer prayers before offering . If not possible, offering should be done before we partake food. Food that has been eaten or remnants should not be offered. Honey is the Best offering as it is said to be beyond impurity. Reasons for Offering to god. We eat things from the bounty of Nature. Offering to God is our way of thanking Him. Note the Lord’s Prayer. ‘”Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.Your kingdom come, your will be done,on earth as it is in heaven.Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts,as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.” Latin Liturgical version.Pater noster, qui es in caelis:sanctificetur Nomen Tuum;adveniat Regnum Tuum;fiat voluntas Tua,sicut in caelo, et in terra.Panem nostrum cotidianum da nobis hodie;et dimitte nobis debita nostra, sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris;et ne nos inducas in tentationem;sed libera nos a Malo” Hindu Sastras declare that eating Food without offering to God first amounts to Stealing. Another reason is that food which is made of natural Resources contain impurities. ( now we have chemicals as well) The food we eat is the result of the toils of many. We do not know what they have gone through to produce and we are not sure whether they have been adequately compensated. Their anguish will affect the their produce. When we offer food to God, He takes away the impurities and the consequences born out of anger and anguish of the producer. After all, we are because of what we think and what we think is because of what we eat. https://ramanisblog.in/2012/07/19/why-hindus-offer-food-to-god-naivedyamthiruvaaradhanam/ --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/ramanispodcast/message
Mon, 08 Aug 2022 - 03min - 150 - Thanjavur Big Temple How It Was Built, Logistics
The Brhadeewara Temple, Thanjavur ,Tamil Nadu is a UNESCO World Heritage Monument. It was completed by the year 1010 AD by Raja Raja Chozhan I, the great Chozha King. An engineering marvel, it is built with sandstone and Granite in an area where no mountains exist! This temple has withstood six powerful earthquakes. It’s one of the most amazing buildings in India. It’s 10 times taller than anything built before it, and not only is it huge, but it’s made of granite, one of the hardest stones in the world. Due to the temples’ size, the U.S. Senate, Versailles, the Houses of Parliament, and St. Paul’s Basilica in Rome could all fit within a single Prakara It was completed in Five Years, 1005-1010 AD!The standard measures used in construction come from the ancient Vastu shastras which measures 1 3/8-inch and is used even today. Other units of measure include hasta, muzam, or kishku with 24 units equalling to 33 inches. Similar measurementprinciples are observed in the ancient structures of Indus valley Civilisation some 4000-6000 years ago. Though different units of measurements are used in modern construction, the base comes from Vastu Shastras, given its ancient value. This temple has the unique record of being constructed with granite stones andcompleting within short span of five years (beginning from 1004 AD). The temple rests on a solid base of 16 feet (about 5 metres in height). The deities made of stone are placed on this along with other idols of Shiva dance. The Kalasam, the top most portion of the shrine weighs very heavily approximately 81 tonnes of single stone block. Apparently, lack of machines in those times, this stone was believed to have been dragged using an inclined plane having length of 6.44 km. The Nandi and presiding deity Lingam weighs about 20 tonnes and height of 3.7 metres respectively. There is not much place in the prakarana area and measures approximately 125m by 240 m. The exterior wall isdecorated with 81 carvings of various postures of Bharatanatyam, a classical dance belonging to Tamil Nadu State. It is also famous as Raja Rajeswara Temple and Peruvudaiyaar Temple amongst the people. It is so wide and so large that one has to take rest while visiting the temple and seeing its lovely ancient carving on the gigantic walls. The tower of the temple (Vimana) is of 216 feet high. It is the tallest temple in the world. The weight of the Kalasha (kumbam) on the temple is of 80 tones. The marvelous statue of Nandi (sacred bull) on the entrance of the temple mesmerizes the tourists as it is 16 feet long and 13 feet high. Brihadeeswarar temple was built applying the knowledge of ancient construction called Vastu Shastra. Its geographicalcoordinates are 10-46’50”N 79-08’30”E. How It was built, logistics. The quarry that supplied the granite was over 50 miles away from the temple site. Most of the stones were moved with boats, but some much heavier stones, like the 81.3-ton capstone at the summit of the tower, were moved with a combination of ramps and elephants. The remains of the original ramps still exist today after a thousand years, indicating a gentle 6-degree slope pointing toward the top of the temple. The ramp began 1 mile from the temple, and gradually intersected with the top of the tower 216 feet in the air. Stones were moved from the quarry to the ramp, and up the ramp, with elephants pulling the stones over wooden rollers, much the same as the way ancient Egyptians built the pyramids. Height 60 Meters. Area of the temple-80 acres. 15 Floors. Weight of Stone at the Apex of the Building 80 Tons. Size of the nandi, Bull 16 feet by 13 feet. Has a Moat surrounding the temple. The sanctum has pyramid shape inside and covered with Flooring. The Shiva Linga is 16 feet.( 5 feet under the ground),single stone. 4,000 cows, 7,000 goats, and 30 buffalos ..https://ramanisblog.in/2015/01/20/thanjavur-big-temple-how-it-was-built-logistics/ --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/ramanispodcast/message
Sun, 07 Aug 2022 - 05min - 149 - Become Invisible In Pond Thiruvellarai Pundarikaksha Oldest Vishnu Temple
There are a few places in India which are reported to be quiet ancient, some of them to Billion years! And these have been dated scientifically. For example Thiruvannamalai 3.94 billion years, Thirupati 2100 million years. Please read my posts on these places and more places similar to them. And now there is an addition to this list. The Temple for Vishnu at Srirangam ,is reported to be built by Rama, though many state that it was built earlier. This period belongs to Treta Yuga, some 4,32,000 ago according to Indian Texts. Historical dating of Lord Rama is around 5114 BC. We may safely state that Srirangam belongs to 5114 BC, if not earlier. References are found in Indian Texts that there is another temple which was built earlier by Lord Rama’s ancestor, King Sibi. The same Sibi is mentioned as the one who parted with his Flesh to feed a Dove. This has been mentioned in Tamil Sangam Literature, which is dated around 3000 BC. But the date of Sangam literature is pushed back by at least by 20,000 subsequent finding of the ruins of Poompuhar,Tamil Nadu. Poompuhar’s period was much later than Sangam period! The Tamil Cholas are referred to as the descendants of Ikshvaku Clan,to which Lord Rama belonged. So the refernce to a temple earlier to that of Srirangam gains credibility. The Temple of Pundarikaksha(Vishnu) is mentioned in Sangam Classics and also referred to in King Rajaraja’s inscriptions. Thiruvellarai is about 19 km from Srirangam and bus facilities are available. Nearest Airport. Thiruchirapalli. Railway Station. Thiruchirapalli/Srirangam. It is recorded in Srimad Bhagavadham that Rakshsas of the South,Rakshasa being a powerful race mostly settled in now sunk Lemuria, were inciting rebellion in the south of King Sibi’s Kingdom. Sibi proceeded with his army to annihilate the Rakshasas but was thwarted by a wild Boar(Swetha Varaha, an Avatar of Lord Vishnu). Sage Markandeya who was in meditation there advised Sibi that Sibi’s descendent (Rama)would take care of the Rakshasas and Sibi should build temple for Vishnu and have His darshan. This Sibi did and this is the Thiruvellarai temple. Temple timings. 6 to 12 noon. 4 pm to 8 pm. Contact. Sun, 07 Aug 2022 - 08min - 148 - Sri Rama's Height Six Feet and Six Inches
I have written about Lord Rama, His date of birth verified, places visited by Him and about the weapons used by Him, His dropping atom bomb and many ore articles including his lineage. I have recently written on his footprints found in India .They are found in Chitrakoot, Rameswaram Rama Pada(Rama’s feet) and Hampi in Karnataka among other places. His feet imprint measures, ‘Foot prints found are eleven inches by five inches and ten inches by four and half inches. It resembles to the foot wearing sandals made of wood.’ A reader asked me whether it is possible to measure one’s height from Footprints. Yes, one can. The Ratio is 6.6 is to 1. This is based on a footprint without wearing footwear. Calculation may be made allowing for one wearing Footwear based on Formula provided below. On this basis, Rama,s height is 11* 6.6 = 72.6 “( in Inches) Or. 6’15 (foot by cms) There is a view that based on The size of Shiva Dhanus (Bow) broken by Rama in Sita’s Swayamvara, Rama’s Height could have been around Four to four and a half feet. But Rama’s height is proved by His foot print as 6.6″ .more at https://ramanisblog.in/2016/08/03/lord-rama-height-six-feet-six-inches-footprint-verified/ --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/ramanispodcast/message
Thu, 04 Aug 2022 - 05min - 147 - Nairs of Kerala Date Back to 18000 Years
If one removes the Goggles of regionalism and linguistic chauvinism, one can understand Indian history in its splendor. Though the people of Kerala formed a part of Tamil kingdom Chera, the Nairs of Kerala had a social system of their own. Nair comes from the word Nayaka meaning chieftain or a leader. They were the leaders of a group of army of the Cheras. ‘The Nambudiri Brahmins were at the top of the ritual caste hierarchy and in that system outranked even the kings. They regarded all Nairs as shudra. Below the Nambudiris came the Tamil Brahmins and other later immigrants of the Brahmin varna. Beyond this, the precise ranking is subject to some difference in opinion. Kodoth has placed the Samantan caste below the Kshatriya rank but above the Nairs, but Gough considers that the Pushpagans and Chakyars, both of which were the highest ranked in the group of temple servants known as Ambalavasis, were ranked between the Brahmins and the Nairs, as were several other members of the Ambalavasi group. She also believes that some Nairs adopted the title of Samantan in order to emphasise their superiority over others in their caste. The unwillingness of the higher varnas to engage in what they considered to be the polluting activities of industrial and commercial activity has been cited as a reason for the region’s relatively limited economic development’ ‘A theory has been proposed for the origins of the caste system in the Kerala region based on the actions of the Aryan Jains introducing such distinctions prior to the 8th-century AD. This argues that the Jains needed protection when they arrived in the area and recruited sympathetic local people to provide it. These people were then distinguished from others in the local population by their occupation as protectors, with the others all being classed as out-caste. The cross-disciplinary historian Cyriac Pullapilly describes that this meant they “… were given kshatriya functions, but only shudra status. Thus originated the Nair .Taking into consideration the caste system of Sanatana Dharma was practiced by The Tamils , Cheras were Tamils, there was no discrimination in the Tamil land on the basis of caste , the views by western authors seem to be based on the Myth of Aryan dDravidian Theory which is now proved to be false and is a piece of disinformation to divide the people of India. The fact that the Group who are currently called as Nairs were entrusted with Military duties , they were Kshatriyas. The Nairs, Chera Period. Some people think the name itself is derived from nayaka, an honorific meaning “leader of the people”, while others believe it stems from the community’s association with the Naga cult of serpent worship. Christopher Fuller, an anthropologist, has said that it is likely that the first reference to the Nair community was made by Pliny the Elder in his Natural History, dating from 77 AD. That work describes what is probably the Malabar coast area wherein could be found the “Nareae, who are shut in by the Capitalis range, the highest of all the mountains in India”. Fuller believes it probable that the Nareae referred to the Nairs and the Capitalis range is the Western Ghats.’ Matrilineal Society. Nairs operated a matrilineal (marumakkathayam) joint family structure called tharavad, whereby descendant families of one common ancestress lived under a single roof. Tharavads consisting of 50 to 80 members were not uncommon and some with membership as high as 200 have been reported. Only the women lived in the main house; men lived in separate rooms[clarification needed] and, on some occasions, lived in a separate house nearby. The families split on instances when they became unwieldy and during crisis among its members. When it split, the family property was separated along the female lines. The karnavan, the oldest male member in the tharavad, had the decision-making authority including the power to manage common property. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/ramanispodcast/message
Wed, 03 Aug 2022 - 09min - 146 - Four of The Saptha Rishis from South India
There are Seven Seers of Hinduism called as Saptha (seven) Rishis. According to Puranas, these change for every Manvantara,a Time scale of Hinduism going back to lakhs of years. For more read my article on Manvatara. The Saptha Rishis for our Manvantara are, Atri, Bhrigu, Kutsa, Vasishta, Gautama, Kasyapa and Angirasa. It is interesting to note that references to these Rishis are associated with certain regions of the world, though all of them are from Bharatavarsha. Of these, while, Bhrighu from Himachal Pradesh,Kutsa from near Uttar Pradesh,Vasishta from Indus valley,Atri,Kasyapa and Gautama and Angirasa are from the south of Vindhyas. It is also curious that the Bhargavas, those from Bhrighu Lineage, to which Parashurama,an Avatar of Vishnu, are sometimes treated as those from the south, with Parashurama establishing Goa and Kerala regions of today. Kasyapa is the earliest and his name means Turtle. The Turtle concept is present in almost all lehends related to Creation of Earth. Kasyapa must have lived in the south ,though he is reported to have come to south twice . Once when the earth was tilted during Shiva,s Marriage with Uma and again during Ramayna whe he came down to Lanka to impart The Adityahridhaya Stotra on Surya, the Sun God,to Lord Rama, when he was depressed during his battle with Ravana in Lanka. Agastya’s movement has been validated by the Star Canopus. Please read my article on this. Sage Gauthama was from the Godavari basin/valley,the River Godavari is named after him. Bhrighu and Angirasa are classified as pre Vedic Rishis. Though they are referred thus and are mentioned in The Zend Avestha of Zoraosterianism,Angirasa ,going by Sumerian and Tamil related material was from the Dravida desa and he seems to have founded the Akkadian empire or worshiped by them. https://ramanisblog.in/2017/03/26/four-of-the-sapthaseven-rishis-from-south-of-india/ --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/ramanispodcast/message
