"Deception" by Selena Montgomery is the second in a romance/crime trilogy concerning a crime syndicate functioning out of a small town named "Hallden" in a county of the same name in middle Georgia. We took a break from reading to watch the latest erotica movie that's been making the rounds. 365 Days (365 Dias) is a 2020 Polish erotic romantic drama film based on the first novel of a trilogy written by Blanka Lipinska. We found ourselves more intrigued by the architecture and furnishings of a millionaire in the movie than the actual 'romance' but had a good time watching it nonetheless. We are veering off course slightly next episode to focus on prolific black writer Roxanne Gay and her book 'Hunger'. We'll be back to dig into this masterpiece soon.

Yo and Holly talk about the first book in the Forbidden Hearts series by Alisha Rai: Hate To Want You. There was a lot of love with this book for us, but also some struggles. We dissect it all and overall give a hearty recommendation for this book. We can't wait to read the sequels! We also touch on white claws vs truly - which is better?

Yo and Holly are back discussing the best romance/erotica book we've read in a LONG TIME. Rafe: A Buff Male Nanny by Rebekah Weatherspoon. We go back in time to one of the first women erotica authors, Anaïs Nin, and her collection of short stories, Delta of Venus. We get a lot feminist so be prepared and bring your nasty women shirt! Our next book will take us back to modern paranormal romance with Gena Showalter's The Darkest Night, the first book in her Lord of the Underworld series. Any requests on what to read next? We needed some color in our romance so we went to Auriella Skye and her Alpha Warlocks' of Kala West series. These book have everything: BBW, women of color, threesomes, magic, and a guy who names his motorcycles after women. Did I mention threesomes?

Our next book is kickin' it old school with Delta of Venus by Anais Nin.

We had a twitter recommendation asking if we could read a same gender couple book in the future. So we read The Backup Boyfriend by River Jaymes. During this episode we talk about how HOT the sex is, the wide array of topics covered in it and Yo gets easily distracted when remembering a vivid gay porn she watched many moons ago. We also talk about Yo's dog, Lady and how her soul mate is a dog named Fitzwilliam Waffles who lives in a romance only book store in LA called The Ripped Bodice.

Welcome to the sixth episode of Just F Already. We got an iTunes review from Mizzy_Bizzy who asked that we read Monster in His Eyes by J.M Darhower. During this episode we find out that Yo loves Mafia books even though in real life she is a slave to the man. Although we both hate our main female character because she has the personality of a fingernail, we do decide that the plot is killer, even if the romance is less so.
