    TODAY'S EPISODE:

Welcome to today's episode of Daily Radio Bible, where we dive deep into the power of God's divine reversals. Our host Hunter explores the thrilling concept of how God turns the very weapons of our enemies against them and uses what seems like overwhelming strength to bring about victory for His people. In today's devotion, we'll reflect on the story of David, a young shepherd who, armed only with faith, a sling, and a few stones, toppled the formidable Goliath, illustrating God's penchant for flipping the script on our foes.

Hunter will also guide us through the ultimate reversal symbolized by the cross, where what seemed like defeat was transformed into the greatest triumph over sin, death, and the grave. As we approach Easter, we're reminded of the suspenseful silence of Saturday, which ultimately burst forth into the victory of Sunday, offering hope and overcoming power to us all.

Join us as we pray for the same strength to face our own giants, not with physical weapons but with faith in the Lord of Heaven's Armies, the God of the Great Reversal. Stay tuned as Hunter shares this heartfelt prayer for courage and triumph for all of us - across every walk of life.

    TODAY'S PRAYERS:

Lord God Almighty and everlasting father you have brought us in safety to this new day preserve us with your Mighty power that we might not fall into sin or be overcome by adversity. And in all we do, direct us to the fulfilling of your purpose  through Jesus Christ Our Lord amen.

Oh God you have made of one blood all the peoples of the earth and sent your blessed son to preach peace to those who are far and those who are near. Grant that people everywhere may seek after you, and find you. Bring the nations into your fold, pour out your Spirit on all flesh, and hasten the coming of your kingdom through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

And now Lord,  make me an instrument of your peace.  Where there is hatred let me sow love. Where there is injury, pardon.  Where there is doubt, faith. Where there is despair, hope.  Where there is darkness, light.  And where there is sadness,  Joy.  Oh Lord grant that I might not seek to be consoled as to console. To be understood as to understand, to be loved as to love.  For it is in the giving that we receive, in the pardoning that we are pardoned, it is in the dying that we are born unto eternal life.  Amen

And now as our Lord has taught us we are bold to pray...

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, they kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven, give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our tresspasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not unto temptation, but deliver us from evil, for thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

Loving God, we give you thanks for restoring us in your image. And nourishing us with spiritual food, now send us forth as forgiven people, healed and renewed, that we may proclaim your love to the world, and continue in the risen life of Christ.  Amen.

    TODAY'S EPISODE:

Welcome back to Daily Radio Bible. In today's episode, our host Hunter delves into the significance of oil, not as the world knows it—a commodity that fuels economies, incites wars, and shapes our modern life—but as a symbol for something far greater. Hunter draws a profound contrast between the oil that governs the world and the oil that represents God's presence. He reminds us that while earthly oil cannot give us peace, hope, or love, God's anointing oil, derived from simple olives, signifies his transforming presence which brings about these very things.

Hunter reflects on the biblical account of Samuel anointing the young shepherd, David, seeing it as a foreshadowing of Jesus, the Anointed One. He underscores the narrative of Jesus's life, death, and resurrection and how this culminates in the outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon all people. This divine 'oil'—God's presence within us—empowers us to be bearers of light in a dark world. Join us as we explore the extraordinary power of God's presence and how it offers a profound transformation that the world's oil could never achieve. Stay with us for a deep and enriching journey in today's devotion, right here on Daily Radio Bible.

    TODAY'S EPISODE:

Welcome back to another episode of the Daily Radio Bible. I'm your host, Hunter, and today, I'll share with you some of the most beautiful and inspiring words written by the Apostle Paul. As we delve into these famous last words at the close of his epistle, we find a call to joy, maturity, encouragement, harmony, and peace — hallmarks of a life lived with the God of love. Paul's heartfelt desire for the Corinthians, to see Christ's presence and power flourish within them, is a timeless message for us as well. We'll explore the profound meaning behind living in faith and recognizing the life of Christ in ourselves, and we'll reflect on how we can embody these virtues in our daily lives. This episode is a prayer for our souls, for our families, and for each of you listening — a prayer that we all may abide in joy, courage, harmony, peace, and love. Join me as we open our hearts to these powerful words and seek to grow closer to what it means to participate in Christ's saving life in the world. Let's get started.

    TODAY'S EPISODE:

Welcome back to another contemplative episode of the Daily Radio Bible. Today, our host Hunter delves deep into the essence of our desires versus our needs, reflecting on the Apostle Paul's own struggle with what he termed the "thorn in the flesh." Hunter encourages us to examine our own desires—whether they pertain to comfort, recognition, or healing within our families—and juxtaposes them with Paul’s incessant pleading to God for relief from his own affliction. Hunter invites us to consider the possibility that there might be something we need that is far more critical than what we want, something epitomized by the divine response Paul received: the need for grace. From this, we're inspired to embrace our weaknesses as they lay the foundation for experiencing grace and God's love. Join us as we seek the wisdom, courage, and grace to accept what we truly need over what we might think we want, and as we extend that hopeful prayer to our loved ones and to each listener tuning in today. Stay with us for an enlightening journey through faith, desire, and divine grace on today’s episode of Daily Radio Bible.

    TODAY'S EPISODE:

Welcome to the Daily Radio Bible podcast, where today we embark on a reflection of the paradoxical nature of God's work in our lives. This is April 11th, and I'm your host, Hunter. In this episode, we delve into the story of Paul—an apostle who learned that true elevation comes not from status, but through humility and trials. As Paul was literally lowered in a basket to escape danger, he found that God was, in fact, elevating him to become the person he was meant to be. In an upside-down world, it's in moments of vulnerability and hardship that we’re often closest to God. Join me in discovering how God does his deepest work in our 'lowering' and how we should embrace these experiences to feel His strength and love more profoundly. Let's challenge the notion that power and elevation come from status, and learn to see God in every step of our descent, for it is there that His presence is most potent, and His purposes are faithfully fulfilled.
