  • 1430 - Eli Manning On Giants Great Start, Bo Nix Struggles, Arch Beats Ohio State, Week 2 Preview

    Colin is joined by Super Bowl champion and host of “The Manningcast” Eli Manning.

    They start with the Giants opening the season with a win over the Cowboys, and the similarities between John Harbaugh and Tom Coughlin as head coaches (2:00). They discuss Cam Skattebo being a bit off and out of control, but why you have to love the intensity he brings (5:00). 

    They move to the Broncos unexpectedly looking terrible and debate how long we should give Bo Nix with a new offensive coordinator (6:30). They also discuss how it feels for Eli to watch his nephew Arch Manning playing on the huge stage at Texas, and how to psychologically move on from throwing bad interceptions (8:15).

  • 1429 - Bears Light It Up, Packers Cause For Concern, Epic Texas Comeback vs. Ohio State, Josh Allen Dominant

    Colin is joined by John Middlekauff, host of “3 and Out’ on The Volume.

    They start with Caleb Williams and the Bears hanging 59 points on the Panthers and Colin believes Caleb will be a top 5 quarterback by the end of the season (2:30). They compare the performances of Josh Allen and CJ Stroud in the Bills win over the Texans and Colin is highly impressed with the Bills offense (10:30).

    They move to the Ravens drubbing the Colts and Colin thinks Ravens coach Jesse Minter might be the new “hot coordinator” to star young coach in the league & they marvel at Derrick Henry’s longevity (16:30). Colin argues the Bengals are a candidate to double their win total from last season after beating the Bucs and improving their defense, and criticizes Baker Mayfield for causing too many turnovers (29:00).

    They react to the Chargers being lit up by the Cardinals (35:00), the Lions narrowly escaping the Saints in OT (40:45), and the Eagles hanging on to beat the Commanders (50:00). Colin criticizes the Packers as being a bad fourth quarter team after their loss to the Vikings, and they see serious cause for concern for Green Bay (56:00). 

    Finally, they move to college football and react to Texas completing a massive come from behind win to beat Ohio State, and break down the play of Arch Manning (1:10:00).

    They start with the rumor mill swirling about her old podcast, why she thinks it’s all dumb and manufactured, and why she wanted to focus her podcast on the WNBA and basketball (25:00). They discuss the superstar qualities of Sophie’s teammate Caitlin Clark (28:15). They also talk about WNBA commissioner Kathy Engelbert’s struggles with being able to capitalize on the surge in popularity that Clark brought to the league and her lack of engagement with the players (30:00).
