    Colin’s joined by Danny Parkins, host of “First Things First” on FS1.

    They begin with the strong start for Danny’s Chicago Bears and why every Bears fan should be happy with the results 25 games into Caleb Williams career. (3:00) Colin highlights the importance of getting the quarterback right because the bottom 6-7 teams are completely unwatchable (8:00).

    They debate why international NBA stars like Jokic and SGA  in the NBA Finals don’t get as much traffic as stars like Ohntani in the World Series (17:00). They discuss the must-watch nature of the World Series and the  watchability of postseason vs. regular season baseball and debate whether Luka’s brand combined with the Lakers could buck the trend (19:30).

    Colin argues he’s been right for years that Joel Embiid was fool’s gold and despite his talent, he doesn’t mesh well within the construct of a team (29:30). 

    They talk about the great turnaround in Sam Darnold’s career  and discuss the huge whiffs by the Vikings and Browns letting Darnold and Baker Mayfield leave and thrive elsewhere (36:00).

    They look ahead to the upcoming NFL slate and which games they like from a betting perspective (41:30), and debate where the Packers coach stacks up against other coaches in the league (54:00).

    Colin’s joined by John Middlekauff, host of “3 and Out” to break down all the week 9 NFL  action.

    They start with the Bills beating the Chiefs and Colin credits the huge amount of pressure the Bills defense was able to apply to Patrick Mahomes and they debate whether Buffalo has the right strengths to beat the Chiefs in the postseason (3:30).

    They move to the Bears beating the Bengals in a wild shootout and Colin argues that he’s seeing growth in Caleb Williams and he’s learning to eliminate some of the bad plays (13:00). They give their reviews of JJ McCarthy after a huge Vikings win over the Lions and give credit to Brian Flores calling a great defense (25:00).

    They highlight the “feast or famine” nature of the Steelers defense that feasted on the Colts and Colin believes Aaron Rodgers looks comfortable and might return for another season (32:15). Colin explains that the Packers offense is suffering from an identity crisis after losing to the Panthers (40:15).

    They break down the 49ers win over the Giants and Colin argues the Giants have found their long-term quarterback in Jaxson Dart and they give props to Kyle Shanahan for keeping the Niners winning and in the mix with Mac Jones under center (51:00).

    Colin explains that the Rams might be the best team in the NFC and  yet still flying under the radar, and they debate where Matt Stafford lands on the all-time QB list if he wins a second Super Bowl (55:30).

    They recap an insane finish in Game 7 of the World Series and Colin argues that with their trio of Japanese stars, they’ve separated financially from other teams and that they may be the best run franchise in American sports (1:02:00). 

    Finally, the break down USC’s win over Nebraska (1:13:00).
