Every month I have a 10 minute meeting with my bookkeeper to go over the basic financial metrics in my business, and this past month I realized that I have had $10K months for the past 42 months. Of course there’s been some months where I hit $30K+, but I think there’s so much to celebrate in the fact that it hasn’t dropped below $10K for so long. First things first – take a moment today to find what you can celebrate and to be brave and take a hard look at your money. Then, throughout this episode, I’m going to be sharing the 10 things that I’ve become really grateful for these past couple years as my business has begun to really thrive. Each of the 10 things has a bit of an action step that you can take, too as you design not only the business you love but the life you love.

Today is going to be a very fun episode! I brainstormed for you 10 ideas to make work more fun because I’ve found that a lot of people in the online space have been asking, “How do I make money without any work?” Or, “How do I make work feel like less work?” I think that this is the wrong question even though I get the concept because a lot of times you're working in a 9-5 career, you're feeling exhausted, you're feeling burnt out, you're feeling ready for a season of rest, and I'm all for seasons of growth and rest. However, I really feel like in life our week has to feel meaningful and we need to have intentional goals. It doesn't mean we have to hustle. It doesn't mean we need to work 24/7. So it isn’t how do I work less, it is how do I have clear boundaries so I'm only working 20 hours a week? Then, how do I make the 20 hours I am working more fun? I love this recent question I received – How do you overcome scarcity mindset? And did you feel this when you became the sole provider for your children post-divorce? First up in the episode today I want to define what coaching is, because I feel like that was a big question for me when I entered the online space. At the start of my business, what is coaching? Is this a scam? Is this ethical? If I'm a therapist, am I also allowed to coach? I spent like 900 years Googling and I really wish someone would have defined for me what coaching was and ALSO the difference between coaching and mentoring which will lead us into the second part of the episode. Whether you're a coach, an online service provider, a course provider, or you provide DFY services, you are going to have to use the skill of coaching and you're going to use the skill of mentoring, so I want to talk about both. Before you listen to the episode, I want you to ask yourself this question: when I work with my clients, what percentage is coaching and what percentage is mentoring? This will help give you some initial clarity as you listen, and remember, there is no wrong answer!

Hi friends, I’m so excited to chat with you today about the ONE thing you need to create a new online program, online course, mastermind, or any sort of leverage scaled expertise as a coach or service provider. I'm doing this because I just released a new template (that includes a Canva bundle!) Before creating this new bundle, I took a look at all of the courses and programs I've created over the last seven years and realized that as I create new programs, it's really a lot of copy and paste besides the essence of the program – I reuse so much of my graphics, my emails, my social posts etc. So I basically took out all of the meat of the program and I left all of the bones and I'm giving you all of the bones for you to insert your own expertise into. This podcast episodes goes deeper into how to move forward with your idea for your next offering, the importance of your thought leadership and legacy, and affirmations that will help you feel safe as you make the next big (and small!) decisions for your biz.

Happy new year, friends! As we head into January, I wanted to share this replay of a live training I did in the Heart Centered Entrepreneur Facebook community just before the holidays. In it, I talk about my “overnight success story". I had someone recently say to me, “Well Anna, you are an overnight success,” and it's just so interesting because while I was in a way because it took me about 90 days to fully book my one-on-one practice and create a waitlist, and yes, it was quick but I want to give some disclaimers around it and I want to share some context because I think we see things online and we make a lot of assumptions. I recently got to help my son study for his school spelling bee and what he said the next day after he didn't win shocked me (and 100% applies to entrepreneurship, so I knew I needed to share it with you here). He told me that he missed studying with me. It made me smile because I missed those moments too. We would study in the car, over breakfast, with family over Zoom, and that process was so sweet. This concept is where I see the magic in my most successful clients — being aware of the process that you're creating for yourself to reach your goals.

I have never heard anyone talk about money mindset or entrepreneurship the way that I do in this episode before. When I first started my business, I remember Googling “how to make money without selling”, when I should have been Googling “how to sell in a way that is in alignment”. Last week on the podcast I shared the lessons I learned from writing my book.

Hi, my heart centered friends! Today's topic is one that I've wanted to rant about for a few weeks. It's something that's come up several times when talking with several clients and community members and when I notice a theme like that, I know it's something I need to talk about.

"I need money." Do you feel bad about saying that phrase? I've talked with three women in the last few weeks who have started a coaching session saying, "I don't need money." Literally.

But by the end of the session being coached by me ended up saying, "OMG, Anna. I really DO need money."

You, my love, DO need money. For investing, paying off debt, signing your kid up for dance lessons, traveling, saving for retirement. You have money needs AND wants and it doesn't make you weird or bad for saying that.

This is a little bit of a tough love conversation, but I know it will be so helpful for you.
