Only a weak woman needs to prove her strength.

A powerful woman is embodied, grounded and she doesn't have a point to prove, especially with her man

If you’re dominating or trying to prove your man wrong, ask:

Where is this coming from? What is my need to prove him wrong?

We have tension in our relationships because we are not in our feminine, It's because we’re too focused on winning.

We don't see it as a focus on winning, we see it as; I'm right and he needs to know I'm right. Whereas we need to question what the end goal is.

You don't need to assert your power because in the assertion shows that you're not grounded in it.

I love helping women ground into their power. When they're grounded into their power  they can attract the right man or heal the relationship they're in. And the best part is when they show up differently for their man, the relationship begins to transform.

It takes one person to transform a relationship.

About Carlos: 

Carlos Vasquez is an entrepreneur, author, speaker, and personal and professional development coach. Carlos's journey from incarceration to inspiration exemplifies the profound might of resilience and determination.   

At just 19, he faced a daunting 20-year prison sentence. This tumultuous phase nearly broke him, yet an influential encounter with a chaplain during his time in solitary confinement sparked an indomitable spirit and journey towards self-awareness and purpose. 

In spite of the bars that confined him, Carlos's spirit remained unshackled. He pursued education, attaining a degree in psychology, and transformed his tribulations into cornerstones of personal evolution. From the silence of his cell emerged The PRICE: Five Principles to Break the Bonds of Trauma and Achieve Personal Success. Published in March 2023, this book has since illuminated paths for many across the globe, heralded in educational institutions as a torchbearer of hope and a blueprint for achieving success.

Maryann’s Bio: Mary Ann Blair is a fitness nurse and Level 2 Integrative Health Practitioner  on a mission to educate, empower and equip others with the tools to take an active role in their own health and wellness journey.

After a long career in care coordination and case management, she recognized there was a need to focus on the individual in transition - the new mother with the goal to stay energized to play with her children; the busy executive recently diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder and needs support to navigate the healthcare system; the shift worker who now has to juggle work and home life and feeling challenged to maintain healthy eating and exercise patterns; the retired professional experiencing hormonal fluctuations and not happy with changes in body composition.

By directing her attention towards preventative health through active living, mindful eating and positive habit mastery, her goal is to educate, empower and equip others with the tools to take an active role in their own health and wellness journey.

08:44 Get a bigger plate. Nobody says that you have to hold that plate. You can go to the buffet and you get the biggest plate there and say ‘I wanna go back to the buffet and fill up this plate.’ Guess what? That’s what life is all about. That’s why you came here, you came here to go to the buffet and to pick everything you wanted and to enjoy all of it. Don’t be holding your dessert plate like, ‘Oh, I’m just overwhelmed, and my plate is too full.’ 

11:55  When we can get to a place where we are processing our emotions and having those difficult conversations, we are going to feel so light.  

13:16  There’s no bigger betrayal than betraying myself.  

16:51  Chase your dreams because the world is moving faster and faster and faster. And I’m not saying you need to move faster, actually, you probably need to slow down, but you need to get more grounded and centered in who you truly are, and you can only do that when you expand your vessel.

There are times when it’s been a f**k yes for you and that dude was not good for you. Why? Because you have been working off old data points; you’ve been working off an old pattern and your old way of thinking cannot create a new reality.  You have to be willing to be uncomfortable, you have to be willing to sit with uncertainty; you have to be willing to lean into the resistance because in that resistance is your greatest life.

15:47  Allow your child to make mistakes & be that safe space for them to come back to, that person that doesn’t judge them, that person that loves them unconditionally. 

16:43  It’s funny how we tell our kids, ‘be confident’, ‘you got this’ but we don’t do things to actually build their confidence. 

20:19  We have to understand that when we are triggered when we’re going to fight mode with our child & when there is a power struggle with you & a toddler, please understand this - that’s your inner child fighting with your present day child.

If you don’t give yourself the opportunity to learn, then how are you going to improve in the next relationship? How do you expect the next relationship to be better than the last relationship if you’re not willing to integrate any of the lessons? 

12:23  If I couldn’t stand being alone with myself, why would anybody else? 

17:05  If I didn’t see myself as a ‘Queen’ first, why would I expect him to mirror that back to me? 

17:32  You could have 2 women standing next to each other that look the exact same, they have all the same other characteristics but one is vibrating confidence & one is not, one is vibrating lack of self-worth, if the man is in his healthy masculine he will gravitate to the confident one.

When others put you down how do you not let them bother you? How do you deal with the put down comments? 

In this episode you’ll learn:

03:11  Everybody has an opinion & just because someone has an opinion, doesn’t mean you should take it. Just because someone cares about you & has an opinion, doesn’t mean you should take it. Just because you love someone & they have an opinion, doesn’t mean that you should take it. Look at who you are getting the opinion from, does this person have success in that area? 

04:39  The most critical people that have something negative to say about everyone, everything and every opportunity are the ones that are most miserable. So why are you letting them in your ear? Would you trade lives with this person? Are they killing it in life? 

10:02  If that person is radiating from a place of love, they wouldn’t have underhanded comments to say to you, they wouldn’t need to minimize your success, and they wouldn’t need to be critical of your moves, in any way because someone who is thriving has no capacity to do that. 

10:53  When someone has something to say about you & it’s not kind, if they’re trying to put a label on you, they’re trying to minimize you, that has nothing to do with you, that is speaking volumes of their lack of security within themselves. 

12:29  You will never be criticized by someone doing more or someone doing better than you ever. 

13:41  You are not here to live into people’s fear, you are here to live into your potential.

10:31  The one thing that throws us is our emotions. It’s our emotions that keep us stuck if we don’t know how to effectively process them.

17:16  Your perception of the world has no implication to me. I’m okay with not being for everybody. I’m okay with people being like, “Oh, that’s weird, why should she do that, I don’t get it. I’m not here for you to get me, I’m here for me to get me. 

19:01  It’s all the things that you didn't do, not the things that you did do, that you’re going to regret. 

23:43  There is no limitation on who you can be in this world truly, but the only limitations on you, are the ones you put on yourself. 

24:10 Nobody’s word impacts you unless there’s something in you that has held on to those words & something in you that believes on some level that it's true.  And I’m not here to tell you, that’s b*****t! You are a divine being of light, that’s who you are underneath all the crap, none of that belongs to you. The trauma, the programming, none of that is you & you get to choose today who you want to be.
