With the introduction to this new mini series, we discuss the virtues of Ramadan and how to have our hearts motivated on learning to prepare ourselves for Ramadan.

We end this series by going over the last two principles: Beware of Self-Amazement and Being Deluded by Oneself, and Knowing the Soul.

In this episode, Omar and Mohamed go over the next four principles: Removal and Adorning, Closing Off Paths Which Take the Person Away from Purification and Distance Him from Virtue and Cause Him to Fall into Vile Things, Remembrance of Death and the Meeting with Allah, and Choosing Friends and Selecting Companions.

With the continuation of previous episode, Omar and Mohamed continue the topic of the fourth principle, and what it means to truly follow Prophet Muhammad SAW and also describe his story.

The fourth principle and step into purifying one’s soul is with understanding who our role model is, and how we can take Prophet Muhammad SAW as an example and our role model. As mentioned in the previous episode, we will again shortly summarize the first and second principles also if it was not stated clearly before.

The third principle and step into purifying one’s soul is with the introduction of the holy Quran, and how it is the source of purification of the heart. In this podcast we also will summarize the first and second principles as well.
