With this movie, you will experience all of the above.

Un Air de Famille is still to this  day considered a masterpiece in French cinema. Directed by Cédric Klapish, written and  starring Agnés Jaoui  and Jean-Pierre Bacri,  with Catherine Frot and Jean-Pierre Darroussin , it certainly has star power!   So most people have seen it, and those who have not, have probably heard of it. If you stay long enough in France, there is no way you can ignore its existence!

Cringy yet funny, embarrassing yet touching, nonsensical yet to the point, this movie is certainly memorable. And so French! To find out how and why, listen to this new episode!

This Rom-Com, from French director Eric Lartigau,  was a hit  when it came out in 2006 largely due to the stars of the film:  Alain Chabatand Charlotte  Gainsbourg . To us, this movie is so deliciously French that we figured we would add it to our list of “unmissables”!
