HONA | LEGAL EXPERTISE MEETS AI-POWERED FOLLOW-UP
Established in 2021 | Orem, Utah
Hona was founded on a clear understanding of a challenge facing law firms: keeping clients informed while ensuring cases continue to move forward.
Case managers were spending significant time responding to client inquiries about case updates, while gaps in treatment could go unnoticed. The result was a frustrating disconnect between the need for consistent communication and the time available to focus on case progress.
Recognizing this challenge, Josh Christensen and Matt McClellan brought together their respective backgrounds in law and software to build a tool designed to address the problem.
Today, Hona uses artificial intelligence (AI) to handle follow-up, helping law firms dedicate more attention to the work involved in moving cases forward.
Rooted in legal expertise and technical insight, Hona was built around a straightforward objective: address the burden of case-related follow-up so legal teams can focus on their work.
Hona — Born from legal expertise and technical insight.
Founded by Josh Christensen and Matt McClellan.

PATRICK VON DOHLEN | THE FIDUCIARY BEXAR COUNTY NEEDS!
REPUBLICAN NOMINEE FOR BEXAR COUNTY JUDGE
WHO IS WATCHING YOUR TAX DOLLARS? WHO IS HOLDING COUNTY GOVERNMENT ACCOUNTABLE? AND WHO WILL PUT THE PEOPLE FIRST?
Bexar County deserves leadership that understands a fundamental responsibility of public office: YOU ARE A FIDUCIARY OF THE PUBLIC TRUST.
Meet PATRICK VON DOHLEN, Republican Nominee for Bexar County Judge, a fifth-generation Texan and financial adviser with more than 28 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE helping families make sound financial decisions. He wants to bring that same commitment to fiscal discipline, responsible stewardship, and accountability to Bexar County government.
In this important conversation on A GOOD LAWYER PODCAST, we explore the leadership, experience, and priorities behind his campaign—and why the decisions made at the county level matter to every taxpayer, homeowner, family, and business owner.
🇺🇸 THE ISSUES THAT MATTER TO BEXAR COUNTY:
✅ FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY: Audit County spending, eliminate wasteful and nonessential expenses, and demand accountability for every taxpayer dollar.
✅ PROPERTY TAX RELIEF: Pursue responsible budgeting and lower taxes wherever possible to help protect hardworking families.
✅ PUBLIC SAFETY & THE JAIL CRISIS: Address jail operations, management failures, overcrowding, and the urgent need for greater accountability.
✅ TRANSPARENCY & GOOD GOVERNMENT: Put measurable results, responsible management, and the public interest ahead of political interests.
✅ WATER, INFRASTRUCTURE & RESPONSIBLE GROWTH: Protect the Edwards Aquifer while respecting private property rights and encouraging thoughtful economic development.
These are not abstract political talking points. They are decisions that affect our families, our finances, our neighborhoods, and the future of Bexar County.
The Bexar County Judge chairs Commissioners Court, where the county budget, property-tax rate, and essential county services are decided alongside four commissioners. This office demands sound judgment, financial discipline, integrity, and a genuine commitment to the public trust.
A PUBLIC OFFICE IS A PUBLIC TRUST. TAXPAYER MONEY DESERVES RESPONSIBLE STEWARDSHIP. AND ACCOUNTABILITY MUST MEAN MORE THAN WORDS.
I believe Patrick Von Dohlen deserves serious consideration for this important responsibility. If you care about how your county government spends your money, protects your community, and plans for the future, this is a conversation worth watching and sharing.
BEXAR COUNTY VOTERS — MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD!
EARLY VOTING: OCTOBER 19–30, 2026

NOT GUILTY! ⚖️ ALFONSO CABAÑAS ON CAPITAL MURDER, HIGH-STAKES TRIALS, AI & THE FUTURE OF JUSTICE!
What a conversation! This past Friday, I had the privilege of sitting down with ALFONSO CABAÑAS of Cabañas Law Firm in San Antonio, Texas, for a fascinating discussion about his impressive legal career, high-stakes criminal defense, and the future of the American justice system.
Alfonso recently secured a NOT GUILTY VERDICT in a capital murder case in Bexar County, Texas — a case that underscores the enormous responsibility and high stakes involved when a person's life and liberty are on the line.
We also explored one of today's most fascinating and rapidly evolving topics: ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI) AND ITS POTENTIAL IMPACT ON JURY TRIALS, COURTROOM STRATEGY, EVIDENCE, AND THE PURSUIT OF JUSTICE.
What happens when emerging technology meets one of our most fundamental constitutional principles — the right to a fair trial? How might AI influence the way jurors evaluate evidence, attorneys present their cases, and our justice system evolves?
Those are just some of the questions we began exploring.
And honestly? WE BARELY SCRATCHED THE SURFACE! I had so many more questions I wanted to ask Alfonso, and our conversation left me wanting to dive even deeper into the complexities of criminal defense, the realities of high-stakes litigation, and the challenges and opportunities facing the legal profession.
That's what makes A GOOD LAWYER PODCAST™ special. We go beyond the headlines to have real conversations with accomplished legal professionals about their work, their experiences, and the issues that matter to all of us.
Join us for an engaging, insightful, and thought-provoking conversation with ALFONSO CABAÑAS — a lawyer whose courtroom experience and perspective make this an episode you won't want to miss!

We get into CLIENT EXPECTATIONS — AND WHAT LAWYERS SHOULD EXPECT FROM THEIR CLIENTS, the realities facing attorneys today, the CURRENT STATE OF LEGISLATION, and how changes in the law can affect the people attorneys are called upon to represent. We talk about his LOVE OF MUSIC, his personality, the experiences that have shaped him, and why being relatable and genuinely connecting with people matters in a profession that can sometimes feel intimidating to the public.
And then there is the Marco Crawford philosophy that may say it better than anything else: TREAT PEOPLE LIKE HUMAN BEINGS…NOT HUMAN BEANS.
Big difference.
But behind it is something serious: PEOPLE WANT TO BE HEARD. PEOPLE WANT TO BE RESPECTED. AND PEOPLE WANT TO KNOW THAT THE PERSON REPRESENTING THEM ACTUALLY CARES. UNDERSTANDING CUSHING’S DISEASE
with DANIELLE CARUCCI, BSN, RN, LNC
Founder | LABOR TO LEGAL – Legal Nurse ConsultingSome conversations are planned.
Others are simply meant to happen.
Yesterday’s conversation with DANIELLE CARUCCI started as an important discussion about Cushing’s Disease, but somewhere along the way… the script disappeared.
And that turned out to be the greatest gift of all.
What unfolded wasn’t just a conversation about medicine or the law. It became a deeply personal discussion about life’s unexpected journeys, adversity, faith, resilience, purpose, and the moments that forever change us.
We spoke openly about Danielle’s own journey through unimaginable health challenges, the lessons she learned while fighting to reclaim her life, and some of the more recent experiences I’ve walked through myself. It was honest. It was vulnerable. And it was real.
There were moments where neither one of us could have predicted where the conversation would go.
Looking back, I truly believe the Good Lord took hold of this ship and guided it exactly where it needed to be.
God’s Timing and Plans… Always Better Than Ours!
Professionally, Danielle brings tremendous value to the legal community through LABOR TO LEGAL, where she helps attorneys understand complex medical records involving obstetric and emergency care through clinical insight, medical record review, chronology development, case screening, and clear nursing analysis.
Personally, she reminded all of us that behind every credential is a human being with a story worth hearing.
This episode is unlike any we’ve recorded this season.
If you’ve ever wondered how faith, perseverance, medicine, and the human spirit can unexpectedly intersect in one conversation… this is an episode you won’t want to miss.
Thank you, Danielle, for your courage, your transparency, your heart, and for trusting me—and my audience—with your story.

Law is not just paperwork.

INSIDE FEDERAL PROSECUTIONS: HOW THE SYSTEM REALLY WORKS
This past Friday on A Good Lawyer Podcast, I sat down with Robert Almonte II — a former Assistant United States Attorney and federal criminal defense expert with over 15 years in the trenches of high-stakes federal cases. His insight into how federal prosecutions are built, and how to dismantle them, is unmatched.

SEASON 4 | EPISODE 20
She came to the United States with only $200 in her pocket, carrying nothing but belief, grit, and a quiet fire that refused to go out—and what she built from that moment forward reads like something out of a song you don’t forget.
This past Tuesday, I sat down with Gogo Bethke, and what stood out wasn’t just the success… it was the heart behind it.
Yes, she’s a proven force in real estate.
Yes, she’s built a brand that people across the country recognize.
But what makes Gogo truly exceptional is how she shows up for others.
She doesn’t just win—she builds winners.
We talked about her journey coming to the United States with almost nothing, the grit it took to rise, and the discipline required to stay at the top. But more importantly, we dove deep into something most people overlook:
Her commitment to investing in people.
Gogo Bethke pours into others in a way that’s rare. She teaches, mentors, and uplifts—because for her, success isn’t measured by what she has… it’s measured by how many people she helps rise alongside her.
She’s also a devoted wife, an incredible mother to two boys, and proof that you don’t have to sacrifice being a good human to become wildly successful.
This episode is powerful.
This episode is real.

SOME LAWYERS TALK ABOUT JUSTICE…
OTHERS ACTUALLY STEP INTO THE FIGHT.
This past TUESDAY on A GOOD LAWYER PODCAST, I sat down with THOMAS “T.J.” MAYES, JR. — and let me tell you something… this one hits different.
We’re talking about a lawyer who understands the system from EVERY angle —
✔️ Former government official
✔️ Public policy advocate
✔️ Trial attorney fighting for the injured
✔️ And now leading the charge at MAYES LAW, PLLC right here in SAN ANTONIO
This is a man who believes the 7TH AMENDMENT still matters — that a jury of your peers is the LAST line of defense when corporations and insurance companies think they can get away with it.
Before building his own path, he sharpened his blade at one of the most recognized personal injury firms in Texas — JIM ADLER & ASSOCIATES — where the fight is REAL and the stakes are even higher.
But here’s what stood out to me…
This is about standing up when it’s easier to stay quiet.
T.J. Mayes, Jr. is the kind of lawyer who doesn’t just show up when it’s convenient—
he shows up when it COUNTS.
And that’s EXACTLY the kind of conversation we bring you on

A GOOD LAWYER PODCAST
SEASON 4 | EPISODE 12In this powerful and eye-opening episode of A GOOD LAWYER PODCAST, COAST-TO-COAST HOST ESTEBAN STEVEN GARCIA sits down with ALEXANDRIA SEAY, Owner & Trial Lawyer at the formidable BIRD LAW GROUP of ATLANTA, GEORGIA.
This episode dives into one of the most disturbing medical malpractice and patient-safety controversies to surface in Georgia in recent years — the growing number of lawsuits involving Harvey “Chip” Cole, MD.
While licensed as an ophthalmologist — an eye doctor — Dr. Cole is NOT a board-certified plastic surgeon, yet numerous patients allege they underwent cosmetic facial procedures and surgical enhancements that ultimately left them permanently disfigured, scarred, or neurologically damaged.
Several former patients claim they entered his practice seeking cosmetic improvements — procedures involving the eyes, face, and surrounding structures — only to suffer devastating complications after surgery. Lawsuits filed in Georgia allege injuries ranging from severe facial deformities and nerve damage to impaired vision and permanent scarring.
In this compelling conversation, ALEXANDRIA SEAY breaks down the legal fight now underway and discusses:
• How these cases began to surface
• Why patients believed they were in the hands of a qualified plastic surgeon
• The devastating physical and emotional consequences many victims now face
• The legal complexities of medical malpractice litigation
• Why civil justice remains one of the only paths to accountabilityBIRD LAW GROUP, known for taking on powerful institutions and high-stakes litigation, represents multiple plaintiffs seeking justice and accountability in the courts of Georgia.
Host ESTEBAN STEVEN GARCIA leads this intense and thoughtful discussion, examining not only the legal battle itself — but also the broader questions of medical ethics, credential transparency, and patient safety.
This episode is a sobering reminder that trust in medicine is sacred — and when that trust is broken, the law becomes the last line of defense.
A GOOD LAWYER PODCAST continues its mission of bringing listeners long-form conversations with some of the sharpest legal minds in America — cutting through the noise and delivering real insight from inside the courtroom and beyond.
