- 12 - Why Do We Click With Some People But Not Others?
Hiii loves!! 💌
Okay... have you ever met someone and just INSTANTLY clicked? Like, you've known each other for five minutes and already know you're going to be friends?
But then there's that person who has the same interests, the same hobbies, basically EVERYTHING in common with you... and for some reason, you just don't click.
Since moving to Athens and meeting so many new people, I've been thinking about this A LOT. So today we're diving into the actual science behind friendship and why our brains seem to choose certain people over others.
And guys... the research is actually crazy.
From studies showing that close friends' brains respond to the world in almost identical ways (!!), to the tiny things we unconsciously do when we like someone, to why you can talk to someone online for MONTHS and still not click when you finally meet in person.
We're also getting into why instant chemistry doesn't always mean someone is good for you, whether friendship and dating apps can really predict compatibility, and whether it's actually possible to make someone like you.
The biggest takeaway? Just because someone seems like your perfect friend on paper doesn't mean you're going to click. And that's okay!! Sometimes it's not about having the same interests, but seeing the world in the same way.
🎙️ Topics covered: the neuroscience of friendship, why we instantly click with certain people, brain synchronisation, friendship compatibility, the chameleon effect, mirroring body language, shared laughter, online vs. real-life friendships, dating and friendship apps, instant chemistry, why we like people who agree with us, the mere exposure effect, and how long it actually takes to become close friends.

Fri, 23 Oct 2026 - 20min - 11 - What Big Tech Doesn't Want You to Know (Lawmakers Explain)
Okay... we all know our phones are addictive. We joke about our screen time, complain about doomscrolling, delete Instagram just to redownload it three days later...
But do you actually know why it's so hard to put your phone down?
Because after this conversation, I'm officially done blaming myself!!
For this episode, I went to the European Parliament (!!) to sit down with Alexandra Geese and Christel Schaldemose - two Members of the European Parliament who have actually worked on the laws regulating platforms like Instagram, TikTok and X.
And guys... some of the things I learned are WILD.
We talk about how social media literally uses the same psychological principles as slot machines, why you not knowing when your next post will get likes or views is part of what keeps you hooked, and why anger, fear and outrage are the actual business model for Big Tech.
But we also talk about what is actually being done about it.
From new laws protecting young people, to holding tech companies accountable, to what a healthier internet could genuinely look like.
This conversation is here to remind you (and me!) to maybe stop feeling so guilty about our screen time. We're literally fighting against apps designed by some of the smartest people in the world to keep you on them.
🎙️ Topics covered: why social media is so addictive, the slot machine effect, dopamine and unpredictable rewards, doomscrolling, why algorithms reward anger and outrage, Big Tech's business model, the Digital Services Act, social media and young people's mental health, proposed age restrictions in Europe, holding tech companies accountable, and what a healthier future for social media could look like.

Fri, 09 Oct 2026 - 38min - 10 - Stop Waiting for Your 'Main Character Moment': The Butterfly Effect
Okay, this episode completely changed the way I think about 'ordinary' days.
We've all heard stories about one tiny moment changing someone's entire life. Missing a train. Sending one email. Meeting one stranger. Saying yes to one invitation.
But here's my question...
If you believe that - that one tiny decision in your past shaped your life... why don't you believe the tiny decisions you're making today could do the exact same thing?
Today we're diving into one of my favourite concepts ever: the butterfly effect. We talk about where it actually comes from, why social media tricks us into thinking only the big moments matter, and why your random tuesday afternoon might be way more important than you realize.
From the scientific discovery that started the butterfly effect, the wrong turn that helped trigger World War I, to the ordinary people whose entire lives changed because they took a different bus or started one awkward conversation.
The biggest takeaway? Stop waiting for your main character moment to happen to you, your life changes in the small every day moments and the 1% choices you make.
🎙️ Topics covered: the butterfly effect, chaos theory, Edward Lorenz, compound habits, why social media makes us overlook ordinary moments, the power of tiny decisions, the 1% rule, creating more luck in your life, and how small actions quietly shape your future.

Wed, 15 Jul 2026 - 28min - 9 - Why Am I Like This? The Psychology Of Personality & Change
Hiii loves!!
Okay... this episode, we're being philosophers 🤓 It's a deep one (but fun, I promise)
Have you ever wondered if you actually chose who you became? Your personality, your style, the things you like... or are you just a product of your DNA, your childhood, your parents, your TikTok algorithm, and every random thing you've ever experienced?
And the question we all really want the answer to: can we actually change?
Today we're diving into one of the biggest questions in psychology: are we born the way we are, or does life make us that way? And trust me... the research is actually crazy.
From identical twins who unknowingly lived almost identical lives, to babies showing a sense of "good" and "bad" before they can even speak, to the science proving your brain is constantly rewiring itself, this episode is one giant reminder that you're way more complex than you think.
The biggest takeaway? Stop saying "that's just who I am." Science literally disagrees.
Topics covered: nature vs. nurture, the Jim Twins study, the Baby Lab experiments, the story of Genie Wiley, how personality develops, where our biases come from, social media algorithms, neuroplasticity, the Big Five personality traits, and whether people can actually change.

Fri, 26 Jun 2026 - 34min - 8 - The Power of Language: how words are secretly shaping your reality
Hiii loves! This episode is a little different and honestly, kind of a big deal for me. 🌟
For the first time, I'm bringing you a fully research-backed episode, with actual studies and sources (huge thank you to my new Anti-Brainrot assistant who did all the research with me!). Today we're diving into the power of language and trust me, this is a very hot and educated topic!
This episode is about the power of language, and how the words you use (especially the ones you repeat to yourself) are quietly shaping your brain, your identity and your reality. We get into the science of why repetition can beat truth, why affirmations actually work, and how even social media slang might be shaping the way you think more than you realize.
The biggest takeaway? Language is much more powerful than you think.
🎙️Topics covered: neuroplasticity, why affirmations actually work, thought-terminating clichés, 1984 & Newspeak, social media language, the Sapir-Whorf hypothesis, the illusory truth effect, and practical tools — naming your emotions, the "I am" vs. "I feel" switch, talking to yourself like a friend, and expanding your vocabulary to expand your emotions.

Sat, 13 Jun 2026 - 33min - 7 - 5 Lessons I Learned as a 20-Year-Old Entrepreneur & Content Creator
In todays episode, let's get a little personal <3 I'm sharing the five biggest lessons I've learned so far as a 20-year-old content creator and entrepreneur. From starting my own clothing brand at 16, to growing half a million followers, to now hiring my first team members and building the Anti-Brainrot movement. It's been a whild journey & i wanna share some of my learnings with you.
We're talking about why followers don't equal money, why you cannot explain yourself to everyone on the internet, why you will never grow if you try to do everything yourself, and why sorting out your taxes from day one will save you so much pain later. Trust me on that last one.
This one is for every ambitious girl that is building something, whether that's a business, a brand, a creative project or just herself. 🧚♀️
The biggest takeaway? You don't have to know it all. You just have to stay curious, get the right help and keep going.
🎙️ Topics covered: followers vs. income, dealing with hate comments, outsourcing & building a team, staying a student no matter how successful you get, and why the legal & finance stuff cannot wait.
i love you all, thank you for being here!

Fri, 29 May 2026 - 29min - 6 - How to ACTUALLY achieve your big dreams & stop procrastinating
A lot of us have dreams so big that they overwhelm us a little. You know exactly where you want to be, but somehow you end up doing absolutely nothing. If that sounds familiar to you all ambitious people --> This episode is for you. 🧠
Today I'm getting into something that I think every ambitious person struggles with: why we procrastinate the most on the things we care about the most. The more personal a dream is to you, the scarier it is to start. And I'm breaking down exactly why that is and what to do about it.
I'm sharing the system that has actually worked for me — from hitting 500k on TikTok to launching my own clothing brand at 16 — and giving you the tools to stop waiting and start taking action.
We're talking about why you cannot compare your step one to someone else's step 100, why "someday" is the most dangerous word for your goals, and the one question my mom always asks me when I feel completely overwhelmed that has changed everything for me.
The biggest takeaway: What is one tiny step you can take in the next 24 hours towards your goal?
🎙️ Topics covered: why ambitious people procrastinate the most, the step one vs step 100 mistake, Parkinson's Law, SMART goals, the next step question, reducing friction & this week's brain rot — brain trap — brain upgrade rating.

Fri, 15 May 2026 - 29min - 5 - How to ACTUALLY get over your insecurities & learn to love your features
This episode is very dear to my heart , and it might just change how you see yourself. 💛
We're talking about insecurities today. All of them. But especially the ones that run so deep you didn't even know they were there. I'm getting really vulnerable and sharing my biggest insecurity — my nose — and why years of hating it led me to believe something much darker about myself.
I also get into why I think beauty standards for women are designed to keep us small, weak and distracted, and why chasing them means you'll never actually be good enough, because they're always changing anyway.
And then there's plastic surgery. I'm giving my honest opinion on why I think it will never fix your insecurities, and I share the one imaginary scenario that made me snap out of wanting a nose job once and for all. If you need something to shift your perspective, this is it.
I also give you actual practical tips — exposure therapy, mirror therapy, a media diet audit — to start doing the inner work today.
Oh, and we're introducing a new segment: brain rot, brain trap or brain upgrade? 🧠
The biggest takeaway? If you were alone on a deserted island with no one to compare yourself to, would you even have insecurities?
🎙️ Topics covered: my nose insecurity & the belief it created, where beauty standards come from, why plastic surgery won't heal you, the daughter scenario, practical tips to overcome insecurities, and the new brain rot/brain trap/brain upgrade segment.

Sat, 02 May 2026 - 39min - 4 - Creator REALTALK: Our Social Media Journeys & How to Use It Without Letting It Use You (ft. Leonie Felicia)
FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER, we have a guest in the room! 🎙️
I sat down with the incredible Leonie Felicia — photographer, explorer, event host and one of the most inspiring people I've ever met — for a raw, unfiltered conversation about something we both live and breathe every single day: social media.
We get into why we both started posting, how it changed our lives, and the uncomfortable truth about how we actually use it versus how we think we use it. Because let's be honest - scrolling when you're anxious isn't resting. It's just a different kind of stress.
We also talk about reaching out to people you admire (and why your presence alone is enough), whether short form content is dying, and what it actually means to use social media with intention. No perfect answers here, just two creators figuring it out in real time.
The biggest takeaway? Intention and awareness. But you'll hear!
🎙️ Topics covered: why we started posting, how social media changed our lives, using it as a tool vs. an escape, the comparison trap, reaching out to people you admire, short form vs. long form content, and how to be a more conscious consumer.

Fri, 17 Apr 2026 - 39min - 3 - How to change your reality & manifest your dream life
WELCOME BACK TO EPISODE TWO! 🎙️
Do you actually realize that you can create any reality you want? In this episode, I dive deep into one of my favorite topics: how to change your reality and shift your mindset. I share my four-step method for identifying and replacing limiting beliefs, why your belief system is literally the glasses through which you see the world, and why vision boards alone will never be enough.
I also get a little personal: from the journal entry I wrote to my future boyfriend two years ago that came true word for word, to growing 500k followers in a year, to the mirror habit I've never told anyone about until now.
This episode is equal parts philosophy, personal story, and actual actionable steps you can start today. Oh, and I also drop the biggest mindset shift that changed everything for me: going from "I want to be" to "I am."
The biggest takeaway? You pray to catch the bus - and then you run.
🎙️ Topics covered: how our belief systems are built, the four steps to changing a limiting belief, scarcity vs. abundance mindset, manifestation & goal setting, fear of success, mirror work, journaling, and my biggest personal proof that changing your reality actually works.

Fri, 03 Apr 2026 - 48min - 2 - New Beginnings: my story & why you need to start before you're ready
WELCOME TO THE FIRST EPISODE!
I wanted to use this opportunity to tell you a little bit more about myself: who I am, my story and why I do what I do. I'm so excited to finally have longer conversations with you. Can't wait for everything thats gonna come :))
I introduce myself, get real about my nerves, and dive into why I'm finally hitting record. From growing up in Berlin, teaching myself to read at five, and surviving the chaos of middle school — to backpacking through Costa Rica, building a clothing brand, and yes, that one embarrassing dropshipping era — this episode is a raw, unfiltered introduction to the girl behind the screen.
But it's not just a "get to know me." I break down what this podcast is actually about, why I'm naming it the Anti-Brainrot Podcast, and what I hope to build with it — a space to think deeper, connect more, and push back against the endless scroll.
The biggest takeaway? Start before you're ready. Own your beginner era. And don't let perfectionism stop you from doing the thing.
🎙️ Topics covered: why I started this podcast, the Anti-Brainrot movement, my childhood & school years, life after high school, my travel adventures, my social media beginnings, and every business I've ever started (including my 12-dollar dropshipping empire).
