It moves us from religious duty of “I have to” to “I GET TO.”

Our attention has to be refocused on Jesus Himself and the open heavens over our lives through the Spirit of God alive in us. By abiding in Christ, remaining in Him, spending time with him – we actually let the impact of His realm, his thoughts, and his heartbeat to saturate our thought-life, belief systems, and ways of life… allowing the realm that you’re most aware of to impact the places we dwell.

Being the House of God, a temple of the Holy Spirit, is at the heart of everything we are called to be and do. You are called to be a house where his very glory dwells – where angels ascend and descend on assignment – living under and open heaven of God’s glory touching earth.

In this week's sermon, Pastor Tommy and his mom, Kathy, open up John 4, the story of the woman at the well, and we see how Jesus meets her in her shame and brings a total transformation by grace. Jesus is still meeting us at the crossroads, offering living water.

The Spirit leaps within us confirming this relational depth of connection with God the Father, forever changing the way that we live and commune with Him. When that rich, deep, consistent working of the Spirit is illuminated, our relationship with God becomes less about what we can GET from Him – and our obsession becomes more and more about BEING with Him.

As we open Romans 8, we discover hope to be both freed and ignited into the fullness of the power of the cross and resurrection power in our lives – to place us dramatically further in a position of victory.
