Di bagian (2) ini, pembahasan ditekankan betapa pentingnya atau manfaatnya mendengar suara Tuhan, bagaimana kita konfirmasi bahwa suara yang kita dengar adalah dari Tuhan dan bagaimana mempersiapkan diri agar kita optimal mendengar suara Tuhan ketika Tuhan berbicara kepada kita.

"... Pada hari ini, jika kamu mendengar suara-Nya,janganlah keraskan hatimu seperti dalam kegeraman” (Ibrani 3:15)

Sometimes the most difficult part in facing storm in not the storm itself, but it is knowing that Jesus is in the boat yet He seems does nothing. Storms reveal deeper truth about us. What He reveals, He heals when we yield to Him. Storms also reveal deeper truth about God. The greater the storms, greater the revelation.

Pengkhotbah 12:13-14 - “Akhir kata dari segala yang didengar ialah: takutlah akan Allah dan berpeganglah pada perintah-perintah-Nya, karena ini adalah kewajiban setiap orang. 14Karena Allah akan membawa setiap perbuatan ke pengadilan yang berlaku atas segala sesuatu yang tersembunyi, entah itu baik, entah itu jahat.”

2 Peter 1:3 - "His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godlinessthrough our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness"

 Mazmur 47:-2-3 - “Hai segala bangsa, bertepuktanganlah, elu-elukanlah Allah dengan sorak-sorai! Sebab Tuhan, Yang Mahatinggi, adalah dahsyat, Raja yang besar atas seluruh bumi.”

Tuhan adalah Tuan kita, setiap lutut bertelut dan setiap lidah mengaku bahwa Yesus adalah Tuhan

When there is no way, God will make a way.

"He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children." (Rev. 21:6-7)

Kejadian 17:1 - "“Ketika Abram berumur sembilan puluh sembilan tahun, maka Tuhan menampakkan diri kepada Abram dan berfirman kepadanya: ”Akulah Allah Yang Mahakuasa, hiduplah di hadapan-Ku dengan tidak bercela”

John 14:16 - "And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever"

Tuhan Yesus berkata kepada murid-muridNya: “Lihatlah, Aku mengutus kamu seperti domba ke tengah-tengah serigala, sebab itu hendaklah kamu cerdik seperti ular dan tulus seperti merpati” (Mat. 10:16). Ini adalah suatu kehidupan yang mustahil.  Tidak mungkin murid-murid Tuhan bisa bertahan apalagi berhasil melakukan apa yang Tuhan ingin mereka lakukan.  Itulah sebabnya, murid-murid Tuhan membutuhkan Roh Kudus dalam kehidupan mereka, mereka harus dibaptis dengan Roh Kudus Allah.  Tuhan Yesus berkata: “Kamu akan memerima kuasa, kalau Roh Kudus turun ke atas kamu…” (Kis. 1:8)

"Ia yang menyediakan benih bagi penabur, dan roti untuk dimakan, Ia juga yang akan menyediakan benih bagi kamu dan melipatgandakannya dan menumbuhkan buah-buah kebenaranmu; kamu akan diperkaya dalam segala macam kemurahan hati, yang membangkitkan syukur kepada Allah oleh karena kami." (2 Korintus 9:10-11⁠)

"All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Mat. 28:18-20)

Exodus 33:1-3 - "Then the Lord said to Moses, “Leave this place, you and the people you brought up out of Egypt, and go up to the land I promised on oath to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, saying, ‘I will give it to your descendants.’ 2I will send an angel before you and drive out the Canaanites, Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites. 3Go up to the land flowing with milk and honey. But I will not go with you, because you are a stiff-necked people and I might destroy you on the way.”

Kejadian 1:28 - “Allah memberkati mereka, lalu Allah berfirman kepada mereka: ”Beranakcuculah dan bertambah banyak; penuhilah bumi dan taklukkanlah itu, berkuasalah atas ikan-ikan di laut dan burung-burung di udara dan atas segala binatang yang merayap di bumi.”

"Berfirmanlah Allah: ”Baiklah Kita menjadikan manusia menurut gambar dan rupa Kita, supaya mereka berkuasa atas ikan-ikan di laut dan burung-burung di udara dan atas ternak dan atas seluruh bumi dan atas segala binatang melata yang merayap di bumi.” 27Maka Allah menciptakan manusia itu menurut gambar-Nya, menurut gambar Allah diciptakan-Nya dia; laki-laki dan perempuan diciptakan-Nya mereka. 28Allah memberkati mereka, lalu Allah berfirman kepada mereka: ”Beranakcuculah dan bertambah banyak; penuhilah bumi dan taklukkanlah itu, berkuasalah atas ikan-ikan di laut dan burung-burung di udara dan atas segala binatang yang merayap di bumi.” (Kej. 1:26-28)

Yesaya 40:10 mengatakan, “Lihatlah, TUHAN Allah akan datang dengan penuh kuasa, Dia akan berkuasa dengan tangan-Nya. Dia membawa upah-Nya, dan ganjaran-Nya ada di hadapan-Nya.” (Alkitab Yang Terbuka/AYT 2018)

Isaiah 40:10 - “See, the Sovereign Lord comes with power, and he rules with a mighty arm. See, his reward is with him, and his recompense accompanies him.”

Jesus is our Beautiful Saviour, He sees differently, embraces widely and saves the unworthy.

"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving" (Colossians 3:23-24)

"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." (Romans 12:2)

Tidak ada yang mustahil bagi Allah dan tidak ada yang mustahil bagi orang percaya! Amin!

"What shall I return to the Lord for all his goodness to me? I will lift up the cup of salvation and call on the name of the Lord." (Psalms 116:12-13)

Do not run away from God's call, but response with obedience. Because the price of running away is heavier than being obedient to His call.

Setiap kita dipanggil menjadi saksi Kristus, bagaimanakah semestinya respon kita sebagai orang percaya?

 “Kamu adalah terang dunia. Kota yang terletak di atas gunung tidak mungkin tersembunyi. 5:15 Lagipula orang tidak menyalakan pelita lalu meletakkannya di bawah gantang, melainkan di atas kaki dian sehingga menerangi semua orang di dalam rumah itu.  5:16 Demikianlah hendaknya terangmu bercahaya di depan orang, supaya mereka melihat perbuatanmu yang baik dan memuliakan Bapamu yang di sorga.” (Matius 5:14-16)

“Kamu adalah garam dunia.  Jika garam itu menjadi tawar, dengan apakah ia diasinkan?  Tidak ada lagi gunanya selain dibuang dan diinjak orang” (Mat. 5:13)

"As they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage on the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two disciples, 2 saying to them, “Go to the village ahead of you, and at once you will find a donkey tied there, with her colt by her. Untie them and bring them to me. 3 If anyone says anything to you, say that the Lord needs them, and he will send them right away.” (Mat. 21:1-4)

"You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you." (John 15:16)

Yesaya 40:6-8 - “Ada suara yang berkata: "Berserulah!" Jawabku: "Apakah yang harus kuserukan?" "Seluruh umat manusia adalah seperti rumput dan semua semaraknya seperti bunga di padang. Rumput menjadi kering, bunga menjadi layu, apabila TUHAN menghembusnya dengan nafas-Nya. Sesungguhnyalah bangsa itu seperti rumput.  Rumput menjadi kering, bunga menjadi layu, tetapi firman Allah kita tetap untuk selama-lamanya."

"Dalam tahun matinya raja Uzia aku melihat Tuhan duduk di atas takhta yang tinggi dan menjulang, dan ujung jubah-Nya memenuhi Bait Suci." (Yesaya 6:1)

"Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’  On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” (Matthew 22:37-40)

"... tentang Yesus dari Nazaret: bagaimana Allah mengurapi Dia dengan Roh Kudus dan kuat kuasa, Dia, yang berjalan berkeliling sambil berbuat baik dan menyembuhkan semua orang yang dikuasai Iblis, sebab Allah menyertai Dia." (Kis. 10:38)

"Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the miracles themselves. I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father." (John 14:11-12)

Amsal 21:1 - “Hati raja seperti batang air di dalam tangan TUHAN, dialirkan-Nya ke mana Ia ingini.”

"Janganlah ingat-ingat hal-hal yang dahulu, dan janganlah perhatikan hal-hal yang dari zaman purbakala! Lihat, Aku hendak membuat sesuatu yang baru, yang sekarang sudah tumbuh, belumkah kamu mengetahuinya? Ya, Aku hendak membuat jalan di padang gurun dan sungai-sungai di padang belantara." (Yes. 43:18-19)

Ketika umat Tuhan mengalami masalah, kesulitan dan tantangan dalam kehidupan mereka, apakah berarti Tuhan sudah meninggalkan mereka?  Ketika mereka mengalami konsekwensi dosa, apakah mereka sudah dilupakan oleh Tuhan?  Tentu Tuhan tidak pernah melupakan umat yang dikasihiNya.

Firman Tuhan kepada umatNya bahwa Dia merencanakan kesejateraan dan masa depan yang penuh pengharapan kepada mereka.  Apakah yang semestinya mereka lakukan saat menanti janji Tuhan itu digenapi dalam kehidupan mereka?

"The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.  He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quiet waters,  He refreshes my soul.  He guides me along the right paths for His name’s sake." (Psalms 23:1-3)

When every prediction is gloom about 2023, as people of God, there is always Hope because God is always with us.  So let's see the invisible, believe the impossible and move the incredible.

Isaiah 40:29-31 - “He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. 30Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; 31but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint”
