Since June 3rd, I haven’t given this platform even a second thought. I physically and mentally couldn’t, nor did I want to. I wanted to put every ounce of my energy into doing the little that I could as a Sudanese diaspora for my country, for my family, and for my people. I realized that I created this platform for a reason, and that reason was to give me a means of access to the world. So as hard it was to drag myself to my microphone (and alone for that matter), I did. In this episode I sat alone and just spoke about the aftermath of June 3rd, as it still remains our present, and how we as Sudanese diaspora need to be dealing with all of this. This is all based on things I’ve seen, felt and experienced over the past couple of weeks. This is not only a letter to Sudanese diaspora, but to the rest of the world, and what you can do for this revolution as non-sudanese. This revolution is not only for Sudan, but for humanity; your role is vital.
