Here is the song by Celia Cruz:
Guantanamera
Guajira guantanamera
Guantanamera
Guajira guantanamera
Yo soy un hombre sincero
De donde crece la palma
Yo soy un hombre sincero
De donde crece la palma
Y antes de morir yo quiero
Cantar mis versos del alma
Guantanamera
Guajira Guantanamera
Guantanamera
Guajira Guantanamera
Cultivo una rosa blanca
En junio como en enero
Cultivo una rosa blanca
En junio como en enero
Para el amigo sincero
Que me da su mano franca
Guantanamera
Guajira Guantanamera
Guantanamera
Guajira Guantanamera
Mi verso es de un verde claro
Y de un carmin encendido
Mi verso es de un verde claro
Y de un carmin encendido
Mi verso es un ciervo herido
Que busca en el monte amparo
Guantanamera
Guajira Guantanamera
Guantanamera
Guajira Guantanamera

Recita: Dennis Espinosa during the episode.
Here is the poem:
Te amo y no te amo
Enjoy the poem and the Episode :)

Here is the song by Carlos Gardel:
No olvides, hermano
Si ella me olvida
Qué importa perderme
Mil veces la vida
Para qué vivir
Cuántos desengaños, por una cabeza
Yo juré mil veces no vuelvo a insistir
Otra vez quiero besar
Yo me juego entero
Qué le voy a hacer
Por una cabeza, todas las locuras
Su boca que besa
Borra la tristeza
Calma la amargura
Por una cabeza
Si ella me olvida
Qué importa perderme
Mil veces la vida
Para qué vivir

La cucaracha, la cucaracha
Ya no puede caminar
Porque le falta
Por que no tiene
La patita principal.
La cucaracha, la cucaracha
Ya no puede caminar
Porque le falta
Por que no tiene
La patita principal.
La cucaracha contenta
tiene ganas sin parar
aunque le falta una pata
nunca deja de bailar.

tiene ganas sin parar
aunque le falta una pata
nunca deja de bailar.

Second version.
Here is version of the song by Nora Galit:
La cucaracha, la cucaracha
Ya no puede caminar
Por que no tiene
Porque le faltan
Las dos patitas de atrás
Una vez la cucaracha
Se metió en un hormiguero
Y las picaras hormigas
Las patitas le comieron
Pobrecita cucharacha
Anda renga y afligida
Caminando a paso lento
Escondiendose de dia
La cucaracha, la cucaracha
Ya no puede caminar
Por que no tiene
Porque le faltan
Las dos patitas de atras
La señora cucaracha
Se ha comprado una bombacha
Toda llena de botones
Y adornada con hilachas
Que bombacha mamarracha
Le dijeron los ratones
Pero a doña cucaracha
No le importan opiniones
La cucaracha, la cucaracha
Ya no puede caminar
Por que no tiene
Porque le faltan
Las dos patitas de atrás

Poem: Si supiera.
Autor: Gabriel García Márquez.
Recita: Patricio Echeverría Dalgo at the end of the episode.
Recita: Dennis Espinosa during the episode.
Here is the poem:
y no asumiría tontamente
Me gustaría decirte cuánto te quiero
que nunca te olvidaré…

Que cuándo, cómo y dónde
Tu siempre me respondes
Quizás, quizás, quizás
Y así pasan los días
Y yo desesperando
Y tu, tu contestando
Quizás, quizás, quizás
Estas perdiendo el tiempo
Pensando, pensando
Por lo que mas tu quieras
Hasta cuándo, hasta cuándo
Y así pasan los días
Y yo desesperando
Y tu, tu contestando
Quizás, quizás, quizás
Y así pasan los días
Y yo desesperando
Y tu, tu contestando
Quizás, quizás, quizás
Estas perdiendo el tiempo
Pensando, pensando
Por lo que mas tu quieras
Hasta cuándo, hasta cuándo
Y así pasan los días
Y yo desesperando
Y tu, tu contestando
Quizás, quizás, quizás
Quizás, quizás, quizás
Quizás, quizás, quizás

Thanks for support!Mon, 14 Nov 2022 - 3 - 3 - Poem "Me gusta cuando callas" by Pablo Neruda
Hello! Today we are going to read the poem "Me gusta cuando callas" by Pablo Neruda. I will be reading the poem in Spanish very slowly and you will try to understand word by word. You will be learning some interesting words and new vocabulary and also you will be improving your listening skills in Spanish. I will translate the poem in English and then read in Spanish again in a normal speed but explaining some words at the same time..
Poem: Me gusta cuando callas.
Autor: Pablo Neruda.
Recita: Alejandro Sanz at the end of the episode.
Recita: Dennis Espinosa during the episode.
Here is the poem:
Enjoy the poem and the Episode :)

Me gusta tocar guitarra
Me gusta cantar el son
Mi mariachi me acompaña
Me gusta tocar guitarra
Me gusta cantar el son
Mi mariachi me acompaña
Cuando toco mi canción
Me gusta tomar mis copas

Thanks for support!Mon, 18 Jul 2022 - 1 - 1 - Latin America
Hello! This is the first episode of the Slow Spanish Language Podcast! Today we are going to talk about Latin America. I will be reading a text in Spanish very slowly and you will try to understand word by word. You will be learning some interesting facts about Latin America and also you will be improving your listening skills in Spanish. I will translate the text in English and then read in Spanish again in a normal speed..
