She was the Vice President of Partnership Development at KABOOM!, has held senior leadership roles at Habitat for Humanity International and Save the Children, and spent more than a decade in international marketing communications at several large corporations.

Lysa has led both public and private fundraising teams, cause marketing, and communications campaigns with large global corporations. When not spending time with her own kids and husband, Lysa enjoys all things home, with most of her playtime being spent in the garden growing organic fruits and vegetables.

Alongside an extensive knowledge of safety regulations and play value, Ole’s uncompromising approach to artistic and architectural expression has been fundamental to MONSTRUM’s swift growth and progress.

She combines a passion for play, the outdoors, and movement with more than ten years in the play industry and hundreds of presentations given on topics from Inclusive Design, Musical Play, and Trends in Play at Parks and Recreation Conferences, District Meetings, Landscape Architect Firms, and Representative Trainings. She studied Communications and Political Science at University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire and is a Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI). As an advocate for play as a critical part of development, she serves on the Steering Committee of the US Play Coalition, on the Parks & Recreation Editorial Advisory Board, as part of the IPEMA Marketing Committee, and as a member of multiple play research project teams and the Product Development Council, and she presents at a variety of conferences. She spends her spare time hiking, running, biking and climbing with her (many) rescue dogs.

Most recently, Dave led programs at KABOOM! that were designed to provide equitable access to play for kids, providing over $20 million in grants to communities to bring playspaces to kids that need it most. He has taken all of his years of experience in the play sector and translated them into selling unique and innovative playgrounds.

Nathan Schleicher is an American industrial designer living and working in Ontario, Canada and designing for projects across the globe.  As the Creative Director at Earthscape Play, Nathan collaborates with landscape architects, architects, artists, city leaders, and children to bring unique one-of-a-kind play projects to diverse communities.  His hand sketches are often the early sparks of the iterative design process. The resulting playable architecture now lives in communities across North America, from Presidio National Park in San Francisco to sθәqәlxenәm ts'exwts'áxwi7 (Rainbow Park) in Vancouver.

In early 2021, Lysa M. Ratliff became the newest CEO of KABOOM!, the national non-profit that works to end playspace inequity. For good. 

Throughout her career, Ratliff has served as a champion for kids and their resilience, leading efforts to connect partners and make change for communities and kids across the country, and around the world. She was the Vice President of Partnership Development at KABOOM!, has held senior leadership roles at Habitat for Humanity International and Save the Children, and spent more than a decade in international marketing communications at several large corporations. 

 Lysa has led both public and private fundraising teams, cause marketing, and communications campaigns with large global corporations. When not spending time with her own kids and husband, Lysa enjoys all things home, with most of her playtime being spent in the garden growing organic fruits and vegetables.
