Hindi matigil sa pag-iyak si Patrick. Napagalitan at napalo kasi siya ng Mommy niya. In between sobs, the eight-year-old said, "Bakit mo ko pinalo, Mommy? Hindi mo na ako mahal!" He didn't notice that his mom was also wiping away her own tears. She hated hurting her only son, but she needed to discipline him. Nalaman niyang naglakad itong mag-isa at tumawid ng kalsada papuntang playground.
