Wow. What a weekend Reggies! The boys are on cloud 9 and we are just overwhelmed with everything that went on last weekend at the podcast royale, we can’t thank you enough for all the support over the weekend and also in the lead up. We recap the event which takes us plenty of time as you can expect, before we get into our work involving all things Kenty, NRL and AFL. After doing the tips it could not be a more polarising round between the codes as the NRL looks like a nice easy round to tip on paper, whereas the AFL has some absolute ripper games with plenty of G – each ways. We make sure we designate a squeeze of the week as well as a captain, plus a bit of LIV golf including the hectic team playoff with fans not holding back on the non-aussie team. It's fight week Reggies! We can't wait to get to the Gold Coast and get amongst the atmosphere, this is what it's all about! It's All Aged Stakes day at Randwick this weekend to round off the Sydney Auttumn carnival, and a few of the boys have poured the Reggies into a nice colt. Because they certainly fired up on the weekend but can they back it up against a hit and miss Essendon side? West Coast got a win as well which means this week's Hawthorn v North Melbourne game is huge in terms of the spoon race. Will Groper be singing the North Melbourne song next week? Does the NRL need to look at the draw option after we almost had 2 draws in one weekend, or is it fine the way it is? Gropes is not happy with the IPL after some absolute carnage during the week and monster scores. This week's footy in both codes has some absolute belter games which has G-each ways everywhere! Maybe hold off on using the joker this week. A recap of UFC300 after one of the most iconic moments to ever happen. We also take a look ahead to a couple of big main events which have been announced including Islam v Poirier and Mcgregor v Chandler.

It's Queen Elizabeth Stakes day at Randwick this weekend to cap off the Autumn carnival in Sydney, although barbs thinks we are off to Royal Ascot. The young blokes extended their lead on the Old Boys last week but some big-time swinging odds from them this week could turn it on its head. Barbs had a good win in the Group 1 segment last week and is looking to keep that winning form but there is a collective thought on a certain horse at value from a few of the boys. The poor old listeners bet last week missed by a single disposal but that means there's a fresh face to spend 5 units this week. Good luck to him. How good is BlueBet! Who got 9/9 in the AFL? Half of Australia surely after every favourite got up! There were some cracking games at gather round however, and it looks to be a thing that will hang around for the years to come. Some wild games of footy in the NRL, the sequence of events that took place in Sydney for the doggies and roosters clash needed to be seen to be believed, an absolute howler from Jace (Todd) at Brookvale Oval and a try fest in Melbourne. Australia has a new world champion in the boxing world after Skye Nicolson became the WBC 125lb champ over the weekend. We wrap up the F1 action from Japan, chat some premier league soccer, get the tips in, hand out the squeeze of the week and crown a captain! Anyone going to ring Debbie Kepitis and ask for a share in the Pierro x Winx fillie? You only need $10 000....for 1%! A local legend in the cricket world has won a flag after 46 long dry years. Tommy unloads on a group of players known as wingers in the NRL after poor Conor Tracey was the straw that broke tommy the camel's back! WhatsApp group messages on end of season trip is discussed. Gather round this weekend in the AFL and I tell ya what if the crows don't fire up after their no.1 supporter gives them one hell of a fire up speech, then they will never fire up again. We had to discuss the week that was in boxing, a couple of Aussies going down on their swords over in Vegas in Liam Wilson and Tim Tszyu. A heroic effort by Timmy and we all know he'll be better and stronger for it! A heap of games that are each way specials in both codes footy meaning either side can win. It's Australia Cup week at Flemington, if you haven't already, go and watch Lonrho's win back in the early 2000's it's one of the best bits of commentary let alone horse races you'll see! All the boys are back in every segment, as per usual some great insight not only from the two trainers but from everyone involved. We've gone out and said can West Coast or North even win a game this season? So no doubt they'll both win this weekend. After the first round of upsets we had a round of normality! Tommy and Jace go H2H this weekend as their sides in both codes of footy tackle each other. The boys get stuck into their work early with plenty of RRLC news, before we dive right into the week that was in sport. Jeremy Marshal King copped an all time falcon, would have had a sore head Monday. Jace’s referring performance at Brookvale Oval was an absolute shocker, very squeeze worthy in a few peoples opinion. The collywobbles are back and in big trouble to defend their flag after Sydney tore through them. She’s a lonnngggggg trip to Perth boys, the lions finding that out on Sunday against Fremantle, first time in history that both Grand Final sides from the previous year have gone 0-2! Crazy start. Ellyse Perry put her WIPL side on her back and won them the title in India, and Matty Wade plays his last game of Sheffield Shield for Tasmania this weekend in the final against WA. Huge news in the boxing world as Tim Tszyu has a new opponent and is fighting for 2 belts now on March 30 as Keith Thurman pulls out of the fight. The tips go in, and we get prepped for another huge weekend of sport!

India win the test series against England, some good banter with the poms as per usual. The first week of our two shows starts now! We have split the show in half, Wednesdays are for sport, Fridays are for punting! Tommy is wired in remotely again so the boys refused to go into the new studio until he returns for Fridays punting show. Major dramas but as per usual we overcame all hurdles. We get stuck into the cricket, a couple of ripping test match finishes over the weekend proves that the format is alive and well! The new studio is almost ready! The Reggies are spending their last show or 2 on the couch and plan to be in the new studio with the new set up by Feb 7, the announcement of the reggies 4n1 cooler drop is set for Feb 8. Loads of content from the RRLC during the week, photos from a recent wedding were shared where the baggy reg took centre stage of the photoshoot! Jace is off the Gabba day/night test and the call went out for all the reggies to meet up meet up and have a beer. The Big Bash final took place during recording so apologies (not really) about all the screaming and carrying on. Josh Browns semi final heroics were big time captain of the week material, however he may just get pipped at the post. Cricket Australia and Patrick Cummins have aligned in their thought process surrounding the controversial Australia Day test match. Very sensitive topic so the boys do their best to navigate. Gropes is not happy with the golfing world, particularly the LPGA or whatever we are supposed to call it these days. The sales catalogue is out for the Easter sales put up by Inglis Bloodstock, with massive attention being paid to lot no.391 who is the first foal of arguably the greatest mare of all time. The old boys, barbs and the reggies all must lift on the punt before this new format starts in a couple of weeks time. Is this the week they turn the tide.

Massive show this week hence the length! Jace and Gropes return from the magic millions with some huge news, not all good news but news none the less. Loads of sport again with Australian Open going on in Melbourne, another test series starting at the Adelaide Oval with Patty Cummins going completely against the history of the ground, UFC card with the middleweight title on the line. Ollie Robinson makes a return on the show, Graeme Swann comes out with some absolute rott, will we ever see another ‘big 3’ in the tennis world like the Federer, Nadal and Djockovic days? The Reggies team is full again! Tommy and Quinno return for the first time this year and Gropes couldn’t be happier! The Reggies 4n1’s have arrived and their is a cracking story that goes with their arrival. Plenty of cricket with the test series against Pakistan recap and we look ahead to the West Indies starting next week. Elise Perry played her 300th international match for Australia during the week, she deserves every bit of praise that she gets after being an absolute weapon for Australia over the years. Not all good news for our aussie women with a devastating injury to one of our superstar soccer players. There is loads of racing talk this week with a couple of our reggies residents Barbs and local Bowen trainer Tommy Button both having runners in some big time races on the Gold Coast this weekend at the magic millions race day. Jace and Gropes are heading to the track for the millions as well, fair to say Saturday night may be one you don’t want to miss.

Episode no.50 for The Reggies! We can’t thank the listeners enough for helping raise the bat in the studio, we can’t wait to get to 100 and take the helmet off. Big recap of cricket in general with the boxing day test and day 1 of the Sydney new years test as well as a big discussion on David Warner and his retirement, Jace and Groper definitely do not agree on things regarding David Warner! Operation Luke Littler is a big talking point as Jace has one of the reggiest ideas of all time for what sort of sport to involve your kids in. Barbs 9/10 tipping performance last week almost earns him an apology, Groper had something else in mind however. There was talks of a certain member of the reggies having a weekend off the punt, but after listening to all the delicious and juicy bets there is no way that is happening!

Another massive show on The Reggies Podcast, Tommy has his last show before he fucks off for the Christmas break. We discuss all things happening across last weekend, Tommy and Gropes were off at a 30th and Jace took out a golf comp! Alyssa Healy is named the new Aussie skipper which is nothing but deserved for her, cricket pitch dramas both domestically and internationally as curators have apparently knocked off for Chrissy early and left Jace in charge. So much cricket going on with big bash and test cricket starting, lots of international cricket as well. It’s all happening! Tom is not happy with the trial of a rule change happening in the lower divisions of English rugby league. What a week in the RRLC with everyone posting their baggy reg’s and standard squeeze gear! We love the support and couldn’t thank the community enough and keep up the cracking posts. The test cricket summer is almost upon us after the T20i series in India is finally over. World club challenge is set for February 24th over in the UK with the Wigan Warriors taking the Penrith Panthers. An absolutely atrocious pitch at the SCG provided one of the most exciting days of cricket in the Sheffield Shield last Thursday. Keato’s collectors is officially back with Stockman winning the Christmas Cup last weekend at Randwick, Gropers got the punters club money and the boys are ready to print this weekend! There is cracker recording from a well known Victorian horse trainer, not what you want to hear if you own this certain horse but a great yarn for the rest of us.

A few thousand beers, caught up with some legends who support the show, and saw all that Melbourne had to offer! The Flemington carnival begins this Saturday with a punters dream, Derby Day! 3 group 1's at Flemington plus the Golden Eagle at Rosehill. Gropes gives us about 35 tips to try to ensure he at least gets something for the punters. As we mentioned a few times, while Jace the matchstick was touring Europe we got the Reggie's own Barbs the Brisbane horseman in the studio for a chat. Everyone was absolutely hanging out their rear ends during this episode, as barbs got stuck into his guitar work the night before. We dive into barbs history with horse racing, the love that all people involved in the industry have for these animals, and just how much work and effort goes into getting a horse from the paddock to the race track. The Reggies are back from the Bowen Cup grinning from ear to ear after one of the best weekends of the year. The turf club absolutely turned one on for all the 3600+ patrons that entered the gates. The Aussies got their first much needed win at he cricket world cup over Sri Lanka, India are looking extremely dangerous to take out the tournament. The big red man is back in the studio after returning home from his Europe trip. Some great yarns about Oktoberfest in Germany and going to some epic games of soccer in the UK.
