- 139 - PASS OVER JORDAN, TAKE JERICHO
Joshua has received instructions from God - be strong and of good courage. His first instruction to the children of Israel is this - prepare yourselves for in three days we are passing over this Jordan to take the promise land. The first city to be taken was going to be Jericho. During this time also the river Jordan has overflowed its banks. How are the children of Israel going to cross this river? Never forget this - the greatest challenge to any great endeavour lies at the beginning and at the end. The first step and the last step is the most challenging. At the beginning, one has to contend with the sweet influences of procrastination but also fear at times. The fear of drowning if you start this project, this endeavour. Israel took three days to prepare. Never start a project without waiting on the Lord for divine intelligence. Joshua got to know how to cross the Jordan at the end of the three days. Let the priests with the ark of covenant move in first and as soon as their feet touches the waters it will part a way for you. Easy! Nothing can and nothing should stand between you and your promise land. They Ason realised that the first city to contend with was Jericho. What did Joshua do? He sent spies to gather military intelligence. People of God, whatever you want to do after praying research about it. Find out more what others have done in that same project, what was their challenge, etc. By intelligence Joshua soon learnt that the walls of Jericho are not ordinary. 12 horses can race on the wall. How are they going to bring this wall down? But you know what? If God has delivered a thing or a people into your hand no matter what you will take it. Joshua and Israel soon learnt that the people of Jericho are afraid even though their walls are thick. His also raised for them an insider to help them. Rahab, an harlot, who no one regarded is the one Jehovah raised as an insider for victory. Precious One this message is for you.
Thu, 06 May 2021 - 18min - 138 - BE STRONG AND COURAGEOUS
Joshua has now taken over from Moses. The first command God gives to him is this - Be strong and of good courage. Three times God repeats this instruction to Joshua the son of Nun. What does it mean to be strong and courageous? How can one be strong and courageous? Why is it needful for him to be strong and courageous? Remember this - God had assured him expressly that wherever the sole of his feet will tread He (God) has given it to him. Similarly as Christians today to who Hod has given all things that Perrin to life and godliness. If God has given us everything that pertains to life and godliness why do so many Christians suffer? Exactly the same question I would have asked if I was Joshua the son of Nun. Lord, if wherever the sole of my feet would tread you have given unto me why the need to be strong and courage’s? Yes, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Because you are going to do the division of the promise land. Be strong in the Lord and be of good courage because there will be many voices trying to seduce you to turn away from the word of God just as Adam and Eve turned from Him and disobeyed God. They eventually lost everything. Be strong in the Lord and be of good courage because you will have opposition like Daniel did. Precious one, this message is for you and you can’t afford to miss it. Remained blessed and keep shinning.
Wed, 05 May 2021 - 24min - 137 - THE GIANTS ARE NO MATCH
The children of Israel are now at the border of the promise Land. The spies complained - the land is truly a land of milk and honey though, but the cities are walled and the giants are there. They chose to return back to Egypt. For their unbelief God promised them that they will not enter the promise land. Hence that generation wandered in the wilderness for 40 years until they all died except Joshua and Caleb. Because of walled cities and the giants the children of Israel feared to contend for what God had spoken of or given them. But two things: first the walls of Jericho were walls no one could have comprehended that it can come down. Yet by the word of God it came down without a dynamite. Secondly, when God spoke to the children of Israel after 40 years of wandering to break camp and advance. However, the first warning God gave to the children Israel was concerning the land of Ammon. God said to them, do not contend with the Ammonites for their land because I will not give you their land. It was the land for the Zamzummims (a people great, many and tall) like the Anakims but the Lord gave it to the children of Ammon. Who destroyed the giants and succeeded them. The second warning - the land of the children of Esau don’t contend for it. The giants, Horims were there but they contended for it and the Lord God delivered the giants into their hands. People have contended with giants and have prevailed. Why should you think your giants are a match. No one is a match but he who has God on his side. If God be for you, your giants are no match. This is a message for you.
Tue, 04 May 2021 - 14min - 136 - GOD WILL DO IT AGAIN
There are times in life we lose opportunities or fail to cease an advantage. Such that we continue to look back thinking - if there was a, way to turn or go back in time, we'll go back and make some good changes. This was the case of Eve when Cain killed his brother Abel. Abel was a great guy, full of life and the fear of God. He's been raised by his parents with hope. And suddenly his own brother would slay him. It was sad losing Abel but scripture says, after they had mourned they moved past that lose. Eve and the husband kept going. What happened? Adam knew his wife and she conceived and brought forth a son and called his name Seth. For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of (or in place of) Abel, whom Cain slew. I want to admonish you today - God will do it again for you. This message will bless you more.
Mon, 03 May 2021 - 16min - 135 - UNDERSTANDING WHAT THE WILL OF GOD IS PT4
It is good and acceptable I’m the sight of God our Savior if we pray for all men. Especially kings and those who are in authority. The reason being that if leaders lead well it will make our Christian life easier and our Great Commission work smoother. A typical example is how the church struggles through the Cold War in Russia under a pitiless atheistic leadership. It was a crime to possess a Bible. A crime that could land you in prison, killed or tortured. Yet in fear underground churches sprang up. Bibles were smuggled from other European countries to Russia through car tyres. May our country never get to this state. May we have the liberty at all times to serve our God. But it will require that we pray for all men. This message will bless you.
Thu, 29 Apr 2021 - 26min - 134 - UNDERSTANDING WHAT THE WILL OF GOD IS PT3
There are time God deliver us from suffering and challenges that comes our way but there are other times He does not. Not because we are wrong but because suffering for righteousness is part of the Christian life equation. Job was a perfect man and eschew evil yet he suffered for his faith and confidence in God. Precious One. Jesus said,”Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Our generation of Christians have been made to believe that suffering is out of a Christian life. This is not true. However, it pleases God any time we confidently stand for righteousness, suffer for it so that righteousness prevails. At the work place should not God and righteousness reign there? Are you afraid that you will lose friends, face and ease with your career progression so you are silent on speaking out the truth. Like Esau so are many Christians, who for a mosel of bread sold his birthright. Today, you can find many Christians doing the wrong things - living in fornication, adultery, equally yoked with unbelievers, accepted the person of the unrighteous. etc. Others are offended, murmuring and chiding for their suffering of righteousness, But how can the gospel go far without suffering or leaving our comfort zones to reach the unreached? How can others believe our report of the gospel is we cannot suffer for what we believe. It is the will of God that we pick our cross daily and come after Him. God bless you.
Wed, 28 Apr 2021 - 23min - 133 - UNDERSTANDING WHAT THE WILL OF GOD IS PT 2
It is the will of God that you live a sanctified life. This is because whatever belongs to God he sanctifies. Not only that, those who are associated with God must be sanctified. God is the supreme One. Everyone who comes near must come to him sanctified. Sanctification brings holiness. It is interesting to know that it is sanctification that makes way for wonders. Joshua said to the children of Israel,”sanctify yourselves: for tomorrow God will do wonders among you. By this time, Precious One, you should know that you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation. Out of the masses God has chosen you. You are special to him. Will you not sanctify yourself to Him? It is the will of God to live a sanctified life. How must I sanctify my life? Take a listen this podcast and you will be blessed like never before. Keep shinning.
Tue, 27 Apr 2021 - 26min - 132 - UNDERSTAND WHAT THE WILL OF GOD IS PT 1
Shall not a man understand and walk in the will of God? Sure definitely. Had Adam and Eve continued in the will of God they wouldn’t have lost the garden of Eden. Neither would they have had to till the ground to put food on the table. As a child of God, until you understand what His will is, you may be wandering in the wrong places and struggling with the issues of life. So Paul wrote to the Ephesians church. “...do not be unwise (or do not be a fool) but understand what the will of God is.” What is the will of God? To the Thessalonian church he told them - In all things give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Precious One, where you are today, and what you are going through give thanks to Him. It may not be the best yet but He who is the only wise God knows why. Give thanks. You have life today - Give thanks. Do you have strength or food to eat today? - Give thanks. Have you lost your job, your business or friend? - Give thanks. For the good and seemingly not good happenings in our lives and around us - give thanks. Why? For this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. This podcast will bless you more.
Mon, 26 Apr 2021 - 16min - 131 - BLAZING THROUGH DIFFICULT TIMES PT4
In the armoury of God, the most powerful weapons are very small. Actually, in Christ the most effective things are not big, the most powerful weapons are not complex, etc. Paul and Silas were cast in prison because they did cast out a demon out of a little girl. They were placed in the inner part of the prison with chains on their hands Abd feet. Additionally, guards were placed on them to watch them carefully. There was no way out for Paul and Silas. What happened? Scripture says, “at midnight instead of complaining and crying they began to pray. After a while they went into praises and worship. They sang hymns, psalms and spiritual songs. Then suddenly...Suddenly there was an earthquake. Glory to God. Because God dwells in the praises of His people. In order words the presence of God filled the prison room. His presence and power were invoked by praises. Then the prison doors opened by themselves without anyone’s effort. Their chains fell off without anyone’s effort. Those gates and those chains of limitations are no longer there. Precious One, praises and worship puts God in charge of your situation. He will blaze through ahead of you. Jehoshaphat used this armour before. And scripture says he went to war against three kingdoms and he appointed singers to praise the beauty of God’s holiness. What happened? The battle was the Lord’s. He didn’t even shoot one arrow. What have you been doing precious one about the challenges that confronts you? Crying? Complaining ? Looking for man to help you? I say unto you return unto God. Worship him in the beauty of his holiness and see the salvation of the Lord. Glory to God.
Fri, 23 Apr 2021 - 28min - 130 - BLAZING THROUGH DIFFICULT TIMES PT3
You know, Isaac said to Esau "your brother with subtilty has taken your blessing. I have blessed him and he shall be blessed. Esau wept and asked his father - Do you have only one blessing? In other words, speak and declare another and heavier blessing for me. But Isaac knew that blessing Esau won't be easy. The reason is that he had already made Jacob's brethren servants to him. So no matter how much Esau is blessed he will be a servant to his younger brother. Eventually, his father blessed him and placed the key to breaking his younger brother's dominion over him. Isaac said, "... And it shall come to pass when you shall be restless you shall break his yoke from of your neck". Precious One, if you can manage your present circumstances, it will definitely be your future. However, the day you will become fed up or restless with your challenging situation that same day it will be over. The scripture says Hannah went to Shiloh year after year to pray about her getting a baby but it didn't happen for her. Her husband told her, I still love you more than your rival so why should you care. But the day she got fed up with her situation she prayed like mad. She decided not to leave Shiloh until she gets change. When Eli realized the frustration, desperation and restlessness of Hannah he spoke to her - change is yours; go home. Exactly a year Hannah brought forth a child. What is also beautiful is that challenges brings out the best in you. By the time Hannah become a mother she was already a praying bulldozer. Don't you think such a mother will raise giants? Precious One, God gave Hannah a child but Hannah gave God a prophet. This message will bless you.
Thu, 22 Apr 2021 - 27min - 129 - BLAZING THROUGH DIFFICULT TIMES PT2
Every situation and every circumstance work together for good to those who love God. Those who are the called according to His purpose. A man who is purposeful will always have the forces of heaven and earth working for him. Without purpose, unnecessary struggles and challenges are inevitable. Joseph had a dream. His dream meant that he will become prominent and superior to fulfil God’s purpose. His brethren set out to block the purpose of God for Joseph. He was sold; he became a slave. Yet Joseph refused to complain and murmur and frustrated. He did his best in his situation. He served his God and he prospered in Potiphar’s house. He went from bad to worse. When he arrived in prison he blazed there. He remained focused and purposeful. Eventually he became the second in command in Egypt. When his brethren finally met him Joseph made it clear to them, “you meant it for evil but God meant it for good. For God did send me before you to preserve you a posterity in the earth and to save your lives by a great deliverance”. Joseph knew all this while that it was part of God’s purpose for his life to be in Egypt and he chose to maximise every situation to the glory of God. Hallelujah. This message will bless you more
Tue, 20 Apr 2021 - 19min - 128 - BLAZING THROUGH DIFFICULT TIMES- PT1
David was a man of faith. He made a profound statement in 2 Sam 22, “By I have run through troops. By my God have I leaped over a wall... He teaches my hands to war; so that a bow of steel is broken by my arms”. This statement shows how David blazed through his challenges with God on his side. Remember this, every one whose name was mentioned in the Bible worthy of celebrating had to deal with his own challenges and many of them blazed through. We can talk about Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Hannah, Esther, Naomi, Paul and Silas, etc. You, having a challenge or a difficulty is no news. After all, man born of woman is of few days, and full of trouble. (Job 14:1). What is remarkable is that you, born of God, are more than a conquerer is the big deal. Abraham blazed through his difficulty when he wanted a child earnestly and it was not happening for him. He was old and he needed a child badly. In Genesis 15, Abraham met God on his matter. Three things happened and that was enough for Abraham to bring the supernatural into his situation, defiling all odds to emerge victorious. A cry of a baby was heard in the tent of Abraham in the fullness of time. This message of God will definitely bless you. Take a listen and your life will not be the same. God bless you more
Mon, 19 Apr 2021 - 20min - 127 - THE INSECURITY OF A PRIVILEGED MAN
When Rehoboam, a weak man wanting power, failed to unite Israel, Judah fell to Rehoboam and the remaining 10 tribes fell to Jeroboam. This was made possible by the prophecy of Ahijah in the days of Solomon. Jeroboam is now King of Israel by the prophetic word of God but then he began to think - the temple is in Jerusalem, Judah. If my people continue to go to Jerusalem to worship they may eventually fall in love with Rehoboam. Eventually they may kill me and hand my kingdom to Rehoboam. So he resorted to tactics - he chose to build two calves in Bethel and Dan. He said unto them, O Israel behold the gods which brought you out of Egypt. Paul said of the Galatians - O foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you that ye should not obey the truth... Are you so foolish? Having began in the spirit, are you now made perfect by the flesh? (Gal 3:1-3). In Jeroboam we see the insecurity of a privileged man. Insecurity can kill your reign. King Saul felt insecure about David. He would leave an entire Israel and go after David with 3000 soldiers. Many Christians are insecure in their marriages - they won’t reign. Some are insecured in their workplaces - they won’t reign there too. In our churches, we find some Christians insecured, they won’t reign either. If God is our security; if God is the one who brings us into positions of service we can only rely on him. If God be for us, only with our eyes shall we behold the reward of the wicked. God rejected Jereboam. He became a byword in Israel. Precious One, let God be your security and everything will work together for your good. God bless you.
Fri, 16 Apr 2021 - 21min - 126 - KING-SIZE ERROR 4- WANTING POWER OF A WEAK MAN
Rehoboam had just arrived in Shechem to be make king over Israel. Before he would be anointed, the elders of Israel together with Jeroboam came to see this young prince. They asked him if a favour - please make our burdens lighter...*. As young King he had no idea. But Rehoboam forgot that his position as a king was granted by God. Such that if he needed counsel it was best to go to God. Rehoboam firstly consulted the elders who stood before his late father King Solomon. They told him - "if you would serve the people they will be your servant...". Rehoboam did not find this counsel appealing so he consulted his peers or friends who he grew up with. They told him, "let the people know that you are going to be worse than your father. If my father chastised you with whips I will chastise you with scorpions". Mr. young king found this youthful counsel appealing. He went ahead with this counsel. The people refused to anoint him king. He was nearly lynched. This is Rehoboam error. He is weak. He does not even know the difference between quality and poor decisions. Further he finds his position as an opportunity to terrorise his own people. Weak people have the tendency to be harsh and abusive. But David recounted, "O Lord, they gentleness has made me great". In our day, when I see racism, tribalism, gender biased thinking, I see the wanting power of a weak man. When I see a terror husband, bossy bosses and arrogant officials I see the wanting power of a weak man. Precious One, are you walking in this error? Such won't reign for long. Take a listen to this podcast and you will be glad you did. God bless you more.
Thu, 15 Apr 2021 - 22min - 125 - KING-SIZE ERROR 3- UNCONTROLLED PASSION OF A GIFTED MAN
King Solomon is considered one of the greatest kings in Israel. He was a gifted man. A man God gave a blank cheque and asked him - “what would you have me do for you”. A question that revealed a type of favour, where heaven is eager to do anything just for you. The man never asked for so much. He asked for wisdom. That was surprising. Many would have asked for riches or the conquest of enemies. He did not. But rather wisdom to serve. A long who want to serve. Today, it’s difficult to find servant-leaders. People, including some Christians see positions and leadership as an opportunity to receive service instead. God gave him wisdom and more. But unfortunately Solomon had a weakness he did not deal with. He loved strange women. A passion that seemed so harmless. But it is the little foxes that spoil the vine; the vines with tender grapes. Precious one, every one and the pulse that drives him. Or the motivation that keeps him awake. Some it could be money, fame, public acceptance, etc. However, if God is not our ultimate passion any other passion can drive us from God. Further, some of us are driven by pulses that seems so insignificant as a child of God - unforgiveness, lying, envy, jealousy, pride, hatred or bitterness, taking things which do not belong to you, etc. These are little foxes. If you don’t deal with them, they will lead you far. Taking small things which do not belong to you will eventually lead you to taking big things which belongs to a nation. It all starts small. How can you deal with these little foxes? First, talk about them; don’t suppress them. Confide in someone matured in the faith. Once you are open about the problem you are half way through solving them. Secondly, confide in the Holy Spirit to strengthen you to live above these passions or little foxes. Thirdly, always remind yourself that you are complete in Christ Jesus. Therefore you don’t have to do the wrong things to have, to become. All you ever needed is in Christ. This episode will bless you like never before. Remain blessed
Wed, 14 Apr 2021 - 16min - 124 - KING-SIZE ERROR 2- YOU ARE THAT MAN
Remember - When the prophet Nathan appeared before King David he spoke to him with a case scenario. David the King was quick to judge that such a person who has taken a poor man ewe lamb must die. Nathan replied - It is you. It is a king-size error to take that which does not belong to you. Thou shall not steal. Thou shall not covert your neighbour's wife. Because what belongs to your neighbour is sacred. If you insist on taking what God hasn't given to you, He will take from you and even more what He has given you. God gave Adam and Eve a garden. He did not give them the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. They took of the tree; God took the garden from them. When Bethsheba got pregnant then it dawn in David that she is another man's wife. Failing to take full responsibility, David murdered the righteous with the sword of the unrighteous. Precious one, learn to take responsibility when it behoves on you. God took from David the favour of Israel. Ego or pride is what urges this king-size error. Take a listen to this episode and you will be blessed like never before. Remain blessed.
Tue, 13 Apr 2021 - 18min - 123 - KING-SIZE ERROR 1 - DISOBEDIENCE
Remember that God has made us kings and priests unto God. And those who receive abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness shall reign in this life by Jesus Christ. If we are kings, if we reign in this life by Christ Jesus, then it means the Christian, the child of God can only reign by Christ who is the Word of God. The early men who walked with God some were kings. God raised Kings for His purpose, plans and agenda. But some failure terribly because of king-size errors. Saul was the first king. His error that brought his reign and dynasty to a close was disobedience. He chose to alter the word of God. It automatically meant that Saul said, "God's instructions are not so perfect or so wise so let me help Him wise up". Any time a man modifies the word of God for Himself he indicates to God that he is wiser than Him, he knows better. This episode will help you sit up when it comes to certain mistakes we can pay dear in the foreseeable future.
Mon, 12 Apr 2021 - 10min - 122 - Who Am I?
How Shall a man define himself? What do you say about yourself? Who are you really? If a man is born again who really is he? Scriptures says, if the Son (Jesus) therefore shall set you free, you shall be free indeed. This means that if Jesus has set me free I am a free man indeed. See, many people are looking to be free - from sin, sicknesses, diseases, poverty, greed, crisis, insecurity, etc. As such many are competing with people, just that they may see that they are somebody, But see, I'm free indeed from poverty. I don't need to be rich to get anything I want for the Lord is my Shepherd. So I cannot want. Its not possible. I am immune to want or poverty. Glory to God. Who am I? Listen to this podcast and you will be blessed like never before.
Tue, 16 Mar 2021 - 10min - 121 - Chapter 6 - Faith Prophesies The Unseen
Imagine finding yourself in a position where retreating is cowardice, halting is disastrous and yet it is impossible to go forward. What will you do? This exactly the state Moses found himself with the children of Israel at the Red Sea. The Egyptians were pursuing after them. The Red Sea was before them. Any man in this situation will be greatly confused. The Holy Scripture says, and Moses said or prophesied to the children of God, fear not, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.... Moses and the children of Israel came through the Red Sea. They didn't need to fight Pharaoh; God fought for them. Moses knew how to prophesy by faith. Precious One, if your money can't buy, your faith should be able to buy. If the doctors have concluded it's not possible, your faith should make it possible. If man has told you it's too late, your faith should be able to reply them - "tomorrow by this time". Faith Prophesies the Unseen and declares what should be. This message will bless you more.
Sat, 30 May 2020 - 15min - 120 - Chapter 5 - Faith Sees No Setback
One of the major conundrum of many believers is how God can reveal His glorious mind to us, especially about our future, and what follows is a myriad of challenges pressing us almost beyond what we can bear. As a result, I have heard this conclusion many times - hell breaks lose when your prophesy becomes open. But not necessarily so. God is the overall ruler and anyone and everything can be a resource for Him to do what He wants to do. Including the devil. If the path to the fulfilment of your prophesy is through the backyard of the devil, God will still use that place as a resource. One truth we must appreciate is this - at times the road to the fulfilment of the prophesy or the word of faith is forward and upwards. However, at other times, it is downward and backwards. Yet it will bring you to the desired place of your faith. This is what happened to Joseph. He was his father's favourite. And it came to pass that he had a lofty dream one day. This dream was his word of faith. Not long the beloved of the father Jacob was sold to the Ishmaelite (that's bad). The Ishmaelite sold him as a slave to Portipha (that's worse) and eventually he arrived in prison (that's worst). Little did he know that it was a prison door that will lead him to the destiny which can, and must be his. Joseph maintained a composure of faith that sees no setback. How did he do that? Take a listen to this message and you will be blessed that you did. God bless you more
Fri, 29 May 2020 - 16min - 119 - Chapter 4 - Faith's Confidence Is the Word
Faith is faith when it comes out of hearing, and hearing by the word of God. If faith comes by anything else its not the God-kind of faith. See, science can give people faith. After all, before the current crisis it had been believed by many that science will change the world for the best. Money can give people faith. That their future is secured. Others, it's their good job, or in a person who has promised them the world. But to put confidence in something that today is, and tomorrow its not is to build your house in the sinking sand. Everything in this life is capable of being affected by time, space and matter. Only God alone lives beyond the influence of these. When Elisha, by the word of faith, said tomorrow by this time... Someone said it's not possible because of time factor. Isaac came into a year of famine. He was weighing his options. One option, which was to go to Egypt. Due to the Nile river food production is still possible in that time of famine or drought. Then the word of God came to him saying - do not go to Egypt but stay here and plant within this famine or drought and I will bless you. Another option has suddenly come on board by the word of God. Which one will you go for? Precious One, if you find yourself in a situation where your eyes and common sense tells you it is not possible yet there's a small gentle voice saying it's possible what will you do? What did Isaac do? Take a listen to this podcast and it will bless you like never before.
Wed, 27 May 2020 - 13min - 118 - Chapter 3 - Faith Responds With Audacity
True is audacious. Faith is confident. Faith does not consider that doubt - "what if..." Faith is daring. Abraham received the word of faith - leave your father's house, your country and your people to a place I will show you of. Lord where am I going? At least let me know so I can see if I like the place. Can you imagine embarking on a journey you don't know the destination? The Word of faith given to Abraham was not enough to inspire confidence but Abraham left, not knowing where he went. How was he able to take that step of faith with such an Audacity? It is risky. At least use your common sense. I remember many years ago when I heard from God in Kigali to quit my job to focus on ministry. In one month I had left my job and was home. Many heard of my decision and they wondered why I will do that as a young man. "After all, if God speaks to you, common sense should tell you to plan and strategize your exit", many preached me. Precious One, it is written if you hear His voice (or the word of faith) today do not harden your heart. In other words, the window of obedience to the word of faith is today. If you respond tomorrow your obedience is imperfect; your faith lacks audacity. You will need Audacity to respond to the word of faith today. Abraham left home with his wife and father and nephew Lot. What happened next? This message will bless you more.
Tue, 26 May 2020 - 16min - 117 - Chapter 2 - Faith Walks With God
Until we practice to respond to faith and respond by faith we are not going to build the unbreakable faith required in the foreseeable future. Paul said to Timothy and the church in general that in the last days, know that perilous times shall come. When that time comes which is not far from us, it will be futile to now build your faith. Remember this, faith Walks with God. Enoch was a man like you and me but he made a choice - to walk with God. He saw that nothing is as important as God Himself. If God is so important in his life then he is going to associate with Him , learn and imitate Him , and also please Him. To walk with God as used in the scripture above connotes the idea of someone who, for instance wants to exercise and he puts on the TV and practices alongside an instructor. Thus, he watches the TV and does exactly as the instruct says and does. So first, you must accept God as your instructor. Not only that you must watch or study Him and practice what you see. Glory to God! Today many Christians lack the faith they signed on to. They have a different work life which is not different from other unbelievers. In the office they are in league with unbelievers to do unrighteousness. On Sundays they have a different life. They join other believers to fellowship. This is not how to walk with God. A man or woman of faith allows his/her faith to determine his thoughts, words and action irrespective of where he finds himself. No one was to pray in the Persian kingdom. Daniel, a man of faith, did not allow the Persian law determine his faith walk. Precious One, are you a woman or man of faith? Do you walk with God in your workplace, your home and your relationships? Do you walk with God in your finances, your sexuality and your overall pursuits? The just shall live by faith. This message will bless you more.
Mon, 25 May 2020 - 16min - 116 - Chapter 1 - Faith and the Sweet Influences of Disobedience
The years ahead, mankind will not require prosperity message, or psychology message to live a healthy life, it will require our consistent response to the word of faith. In the face of crisis, pandemic, persecution and severe oppression it will require an unbreakable faith. But, you know, faith must contend with different kind of oppositions to stand tall. One of them is the sweet influences of disobedience. Adam and Eve had the word of faith with them - of all the trees in the garden you may freely eat but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat.... One day someone showed up and began to engage them. This new person promises them huge opportunities if they eat the fruits. This person seems to have their interest at heart than God. This person happened to be the serpent. Just as disobedience promises so much but delivers nothing but sorrows so in our days the world system, advertisement, and many false prophets promises so much and delivers nothing. Don't you think that Eve should have asked the serpent, "who are you that I should believe you - friend, master, God's boss or who?" This message will give you deeper insight to responding to faith in the faith of sweet influences.
Tue, 19 May 2020 - 17min - 115 - Chapter 4 - Arise And Rebuke
Some Christians, if not many, have come to a kind of an understanding that when it comes to dealing with the devil, you have to plead or entreat God. In other words, "O Lord let the devil fail in his effort against...". But that is wrong. If you say Lord let, it means you are requesting God to take the responsibility of stopping the devil. The Bible never said that God is responsible for the devil. Then who is? I am excited to tell you that you are responsible for the devil. See, as many as received Him to them gave He power to become the sons of God. Even to them that believed on His name. Wow! Have you received on Him? Have you believed on His name? O, then you have also received the power of a son or daughter of God. What is this power for? Of course, to take care of the devil and anything that will want to be a thorn in our lives. Sampson was given power to keep the Philistines in their place. The Philistines became restless and sought avenues to deprive him or quench that power. When you are powerful the devil can't sleep. He gets so busy because of you. Precious One, you are very powerful in Christ. Don't leave the devil to God, it is in your power to handle the devil. If you don't deal with the demon of Fear he will deal with you. Jesus arose and rebuked the winds and the sea and there was a great calm. We rebuke anything that wants to play the fool in our lives. I dare you today in the name of Him who died and rose again, if you will rebuke the devil of Fear there will be a great calm in your life. Don't pray, rebuke. How should I rebuke the devil? This message will help you to understand how to rebuke the devil once and he will say "yes sir". This message will bless you more.
Sun, 17 May 2020 - 17min - 114 - Chapter 3 - Build Up Your Little Faith
Why are you fearful? Is it not because your faith has become little? And as a result fear is trying to fill the vacuum. Why are you fearful? Is it not that you have not been building on your faith day by day? Hence the circumstances of life are overwhelming you and fear is trying to lord over your peace. If faith is little we will need to build it up. The more faith grows and enlarges fear also shrinks and dissipate. How do you increase your faith? Go back to the word, read it, meditate on it and confess it out loud to yourself. Remind yourself of the things God has said about you. Say the same thing that God's word is saying. "I am of God. I originate from Him. And have overcome fear because greater is He that is in me than the spirit of Fear." 1 John 3:3. Keep confessing it. Then the spirit of the Word will begin to generate more faith inside you. Glory to God! This message will bless you.
Thu, 14 May 2020 - 13min - 113 - Chapter 2 - Deal with the spirit of Fear
Definitely, we have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear, suggesting that fear is a spirit. Fear is a demonic bondage. As children of God we have been redeemed from bondage. Hence we can no longer be subject to fear. Never nurse fear but deal with fear quickly. The demonic spirit of Fear has the ability to open doors for other demons to enter your life. You and me we have received the spirit of adoption, meaning we have come into sonship before God. And as sons and daughters we have obtained authority to deal with the devil. So in dealing with the devil you don't have to look towards heaven. You don't have to pray. Because demons don't respond to prayer but authority and the authority you need to put the devil in his place is inside you. Don't forget what is written, "Submit yourself to God, resist the devil and he will flee..." Resist means withstand, don't give him chance or permission, oppose him. This means, call the devil and address him personally. Command him with all boldness inside your spirit and charge him what he should do in the name of Jesus Christ. I bet you the guy will flee from you today and will never show up. Right now, if fear or any devil has been harassing you resist him. You can put the devil in his place. God bless you more.
Wed, 13 May 2020 - 19min - 112 - Chapter 1 - God Has Not Forgotten About You
Are not 5 sparrows sold for two farthings? And yet not one of them is forgotten before God. How much more you? The very hair of your head are numbered. Fear not. Why? Because you are of more value than many sparrows. Glory to God!
Tue, 12 May 2020 - 12min - 111 - Chapter 5 - Trust In Times Of Uncertainty
Abram had to leave his country, his kindred and his father's house to a land God said He will show him. And he went not knowing where he was going.

- 107 - Chapter 1 - Can You Trust God?
Every person has a reputation and if two people are going to walk together they must agree. Often when you want to agree with someone one thing you will consider is his or her reputation - has he done this before and succeeded? Does he keep his word? Is he/she reliable? Often when you are dealing with someone you trust you don't need to understand the person very well yet you give him or her all the support the person needs. God has said, ".... and lo I am with you always even to the end of the world." Can you trust God that He is with you in this time of global crisis? Daniel's friends made it clear to Nebuchadnezzar that they won't bow because their God is able to deliver them. And even if God chooses not to deliver them they will stay with God and trust Him. You know what? The God who is reliable sent the fourth man to deliver them in the furnace of fire. For 40 years the children of wondered how God would feed them. He rained down manna for them. If God can't get you what you need on earth, He will rain it down from heaven above, glory to God. Precious One, the question still remains - can you trust God in this time of pandemic? Can you reliable more on Him than your capability? Can you hope the best for you ahead of the year because the greater one is with you? This message will bless you more.
Mon, 04 May 2020 - 14min - 106 - Chapter 8 - Live Godly
To him that is pure all things are pure. To the godly all things are sacred and must be handled with sacredness.
Mon, 04 May 2020 - 14min - 105 - Chapter 7 - Live Righteously
You are the righteousness of God in Christ. This means that if God says He is a righteous God the proof of His righteousness is you and me. We are the physical representation of God's righteousness. This is big. This is why God expects and demands that you live righteously. To live Righteously is for you to produce the fruits of righteousness. What does it mean to produce the fruits of righteousness? Simple, it means do not resist evil. Influence and affect lives positively in a way that glorifies God. Practically how can we do this? Jesus gave us a typical example - you have heard that it's been said an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. But I say unto you that when you are smitten on the left cheek turn the unto him the right cheek. If someone wants you to go a mile with him go with him two miles. Further, He said that if someone wants your coat don't go to court to challenge the matter. Rather add unto him your cloak so he can look good in your coat. Don't curse your enemies but pray for them. Bless them that despitefully use you. This tells us something that God's righteousness does not fight evil. It transforms evil. Pray for your enemies because weak people will want to make his fellow being an enemy. If someone by his wickedness will smite you on the left cheek add to him your right cheek. If he's able to smite you on both cheeks he will never be able to sleep comfortably without his conscience tormenting him of his wicked way. Precious one, by living Righteously we can bring transformation to our crooked generation and glory to our heavenly Father. This message will bless you more.
Fri, 01 May 2020 - 22min - 104 - Chapter 6 - Live Soberly
Knowing that we are living in the last days we are to live soberly, not as fools but as wise, making the best use of the time to the glory of God. It is important that we will pay attention to how we live lest we be cast out at the appearing of our Lord Jesus. To live sober is to do all things under the government of reason and letting all your reason be under the government of the Spirit of God. Why do you do what you do? What is the motivation for the things you do? Is it for the self or is it for the honour of God? There are motivations for all the things we do. Intentions, drive for all the things we pursue. God does not look at our actions. God pays attention to the intentions behind our actions. This is why Jesus said that if we want to live without sin we should do all things with love as the intention or motivation behind it. Love for God and love for the neighbor. Sampson was a man anointed by God to bring deliverance to God's people. He couldn't live soberly. His end was not honourable. Sampson will go where he is not supposed to go because he thought to himself that he can conquer anything. He loved strange women such that he would not listen to his parents who were guiding him in the way of the Lord. Sampson couldn't bring his appetite, desires and temper under reason and his reason under the government of the Spirit of God. Precious one, John the Baptist said, "He must increase and I must decrease". Do all things to the glory of God. Live not to project yourself but rather the one who died for you to live. Do not seek the honor of men but rather the honor of God. Live a sober life. This message will bless you more.
Thu, 30 Apr 2020 - 12min - 103 - Chapter 5 - Deny Ungodliness And Worldly Lust
Jesus is coming again. Paul continues to admonish us by the Word to deny ungodliness and worldly lust. Not because we are ungodly or we are lustful. But rather, we are living in a time when iniquity shall abound. We will find evil becoming the accepted way of life. A time and era where the culture and the accepted way of life is contrary to the word of God. We are to deny all form of ungodliness. Now, the question to ask is what does the scripture means when it mentions ungodliness so we can deny it. Ungodliness focuses on whatever would lead us to doubt His being, deny any of God's essential attributes; His providence or government of the world, and His influence on the souls of men. Every thing, also, which is opposed to the true worship of God. Not only are we to deny ungodliness but also worldly lust, including but not limited to such desires, affections, and appetites, as gluttony, drunkenness, lasciviousness, anger, malice, and revenge, etc.; together with the immoderate love of riches, power, and fame. Christ is coming for a spotless church. If you and me are going to make it to the end without regrets we must, in the running around about our business, to prioritise our stand against all form of ungodliness and worldly lust. If a man gains the whole world and loses his soul what is the use of his gain. This message will bless you more.
Wed, 29 Apr 2020 - 13min - 102 - Chapter 4 - Endure Sound Doctrine
Paul, by the Spirit, admonished that one of the critical areas to pay attention to is enduring sound doctrine. If there's one thing we have learnt during this crisis it is this - We are living in the last days. If we are going to make to the end we must prioritize our endurance of sound doctrine. The devil knows for sure that false doctrine has the capacity to render the believer confused and perplexed. And in his perplexity or confusion he can disenfranchise the believer. But as economic difficulties grow and the quest to survive intensify, what used to be wrong will be accepted. What was unrighteous would be deemed acceptable. But you the believer - Endure Sound Doctrine! Already, believers today are battling with some doctrines although scripture clear on every matter. However, because of our lust (thus we wish the scripture does not see the matter from this angle but from our angle so we can have our desires) we are unable to endure sound doctrine. For instance, it is a sound doctrine that God hates divorce. Divorce is not of God. Jesus speaking on divorce in Matt 19:9 stated, "...in the beginning it was not so". He went on to state that whosoever divorces his wife except it be for fornication (homosexuality, beastiality) commits adultery. And adulterers shall have no part in the kingdom of God. This means, many may miss their place in the kingdom of heaven because of remarriage. Precious One, endure sound doctrine. It is sound doctrine that all those who will want to live godly life will suffer persecution. Or, the true Christian life comes with persecution. Precious One, are you struggling with some Bible doctrines? Do you really want to subscribe to sound doctrine? Then, don't gather sermons to compare which one makes sense to you but search the scriptures yourself. And with the help of the Spirit you will come to the light of the knowledge of God. This segment will bless you more.
Mon, 27 Apr 2020 - 16min - 101 - Chapter 3 - Reprove Rebuke And Exhort
The world we live in today is not like before. The world has transitioned from a theonormous culture to an autonomous culture. A theonormous culture is where man looks up to God in all his efforts. Where we all believe in God’s law in the form of how our conscience dictates wrong or right. Autonomous culture is where every person lives in his/her own world, where each lives by his own laws.. As such, right or wrong has become a matter of individual interpretation. This is a deception of the devil. The clear lines between good and evil, right and wrong are getting diffused. Many Christians have therefore failed to speak into others’ lives to bring correction and instructions in righteousness. But the word of God remains absolutely true for all. Paul by the Spirit is charging us today to live beyond the autonomous culture of the time and reprove, rebuke and exhalt others with all long-suffering and patience. Some people are on the path of false doctrine. Those need to be reproved or convince. Paul often would enter the synagogue to convince the Jews that Jesus is the promised Messiah. Some believed and others did not. By convincing some he saved them. Others are on the path of destruction. Those rebuke with all long-suffering. Don't stop till they come to their senses. It won't be comfortable to them but it will be beneficial to them. Others are in a strait, losing faith. Let's make it our business to encourage those who are growing weak in the faith. In so doing we will save many for the kingdom. There’s nothing as beautiful as spending your life to save others. Then can we say, "we have fought a good fight". Precious One, let us prioritize others' lives going forward. For greater love has no man than this. That a man will lay down his life for his brethren. This message will bless you more.
Fri, 24 Apr 2020 - 17min - 100 - Chapter 2 - Be Instant In Season
One important lesson we have learnt during this crisis is the fact that we realize without doubt that we are in the last days. As a result re-prioritizing the important things in our lives will mean taking into consideration the things that have eternal value. The things that would count if Christ should appear today. This is why Paul, by the spirit is charging us to be Instant In season. To be instant in season means to be urgent and to be forceful. It is important that as people of God we are urgent with the things of God and forceful with the things that have eternal value. Paul was a man who was forceful and urgent in season and out of season. Paul always made sure wherever he found himself and whoever he encountered in life he would share the eternal message. He shared the gospel in every city he found himself. When he was imprisoned and he could no longer travel Paul wrote letters to encourage, to correct and to guide many in Corinth, Ephesus, etc. The missionaries that brought the gospel to Africa, India and China had to be forceful against all odds. Today we are forceful and urgent when it comes to our salaried jobs, career, parties, house warnings. But we have excuse for the things of God. How forceful are you in winning souls? How urgent are you with spiritual things? This message will bless you more.
Thu, 23 Apr 2020 - 15min - 99 - Chapter 1 - Preach The Word
Paul was about to be executed. He wrote his final letter to his son Thimothy. In this letter Paul charges Timothy to prioritize important things in his life so that he might be blameless before at the appearing of Jesus Christ who shall judge the quick and the dead. The first thing Paul charged Timothy to prioritize is to preach the Word. Why? It is the desire of God that all men come to the saving knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Not only that but also the word is able to make one wise unto salvation through faith. Preach the Word because the gospel is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes. Paul charged him to prioritize preaching the word because the word is the true lamp unto man's feet and the true light unto our path. As a people who are coming out of crisis, the question is what have we learnt from this pandemic and how different are we going to live our lives. If we have truly learnt we will reprioritize our lives. Those who have learnt these few months that material wealth means nothing in the face of this global crisis will understand that prioritizing eternal things is important. It is time to prioritize eternal things so preach the Word. Preach the word in the public transport; preach the Word in market place. Preach the word in the boardroom; preach the word in the office place. Preach the Word to your friends; preach same to your family. Your neighbors and work colleagues, your coursemates and your business associates all need the word. Let God's desire for all men be fulfilled through you in every way everyday. This message will bless you.
Wed, 22 Apr 2020 - 15min - 98 - Chapter 3 - The Lame To Leap
Isn't it beautiful - that the eyes of the blind will see and the ears of the deaf will hear. Not only that but also the Lame will leap and the dumb will sing for joy. All because God will do what the human mind cannot conceive. And just at the seeing of the wondrous work of God the deaf would hear, the lame would leap and the dumb will sing. But at hearing of that same wondrous works of God the blind will see. Glory to God. Today, in the face of a great challenge many people have gone blind - they can't see a future for their lives. Businesses have collapsed, investments have been lost. Others are deaf because they can't hear anything hopeful but only the rising tolls of death day after day because of this virus. Some are become dumb by the shock of the ongoing pandemic. Fear has paralyzed others such that their lives have simply grounded. But hear this - Can water spring forth in the wilderness? Can streams flow in the desert places? Then hear ye the word of the Lord - For in the wilderness shall waters break out and streams in the desert place, says the Lord. Precious One, in the midst of this current adversity shall hope spring forth. In the midst of this furnace fire shall the fourth man be revealed. In the midst of this global crisis shall life spring forth. He is a wondrous God. Hallelujah! This message will bless you more.
Thu, 09 Apr 2020 - 13min - 97 - Chapter 2 - From Weak To Strong
Say to the fearful hearted - Be Strong. Fear is not a good thing. Fear can weaken hands to curtail performance. Fear has the ability to weaken knees to stifle progress. When hearss are full of fear our strategic mental powers gets crippled. But in the midst of the storm God will be the hope of His people. God is saying to His people to whom He said, "my glory shall fill the earth as truly as I live", Strengthen the weak hands. Not only that. God is also charging us to make firm the feeble knees. Why? Behold, your God is coming with vengeance, even God with a recompense. He will come and save you. From now going forward you will have no fear. For you shall know that you have walked through the valley of the shadow of death and yet you were unharmed. Nothing else would make you afraid. Say to the fearful-hearted, "Be Strong". This message will bless you more.
Tue, 31 Mar 2020 - 09min - 96 - Chapter 1- From Wilderness to Garden
Throughout the Bible we find that God has always been the hope of His people, especially in difficult times. Our times are not different. The God who does not change will be the hope of His people. God has said, "As truly as I live, the earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord". This indicates that His light is going to break through the darkness. How is He going to do it? Thus says the Lord the wilderness is going to blossom into a garden. We live in a time where nothing seems to be going on. Men and women, young and old are all locked down in their homes. Many are asking questions, "what are we going to do? What next is going to happen? When is this going to end? Will we be able to recover from the impact of this blog al pandemic?" Many questions but no answer. I came to tell you - the wilderness is going to blossom into a garden and the desert shall flourish like the cedars of Lebanon. Previous One, this is the season to raise high the hope of your expectations. This message will bless you more
Mon, 30 Mar 2020 - 10min - 95 - Chapter 5 - The Earth Shall Be Filled With The Glory of God
When sin is present the glory of God ceases. And pestilence fills the vacuum. This was the case when the children of Israel sinned in the days of Eli the priest and prophet of God. They went to war against th Philistines. The ark of God which is the symbol of the presence of God was in the camp of God's people. But once sin is present, His presence and glory will be absent. What happened? Israel was defeated bitterly and for the first time the ark of God was captured. But if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. When forgiveness comes, God shows forth His glory. As we have sought for His forgiveness, He has pardoned. And because He has pardoned all the earth shall he filled with the glory of the Lord. Precious One, from today going forward, th glory of the Lord shall fill the whole earth. Do you believe? If you shall truly believe you should see the glory of God in your personal life. This message will bless you more.
Fri, 27 Mar 2020 - 10min - 94 - Chapter 4 - I Have Pardoned
Moses also had to intercede for the children of Israel. They had made their mind to return back to Egypt when they were just at the border of the promise land. God concluded - I will disinherit them and wipe them off the face of the earth. And out of Moses I will raise a new generation to take the land. So soon the children of Israel had forgotten that God has been the one fighting for them right from Egypt. He subdued nations before them. He split the Red Sea with the blast of His nostrils. He rebuked kings for their sake. Now, they are faced with the giants of the promise land and their conclusion is that God brought them this far to kill them. They measured themselves against the giants of the land instead of the giants against God. Fear took over them; anxiety gripped them. They said, "let's return back to Egypt". How were they going to cross the Red Sea again without God? You see, when fear seizes your mind, you also lose your strategic mental powers. God was going to wipe them completely but Moses stepped in. Moses' argument was simple because God is a simple God. Moses said, "O my Lord let your power be great" by demonstrating greater long-suffering, great mercy and pardoning their iniquities. In effect, Moses challenged God not to respond to the unfortunate unbelief of these people but rather respond by who He is. The greatness of every power resides in its ability to endure and forgive. God is great and He is all powerful. As a result, He also concluded, "I have Pardoned them according to your word". We have prayed also for our nation, that God would forgive us. We have taken God out of our lives and said, "we don't need Him. We are better off without God". We have permitted what God has called abomination and confusion. And today God says, "I have Pardoned according to your words". So then, let the nations lift up their eyes for their redemption draws nigh because He has pardoned according to our words. Let men and women, young and old, educated and uneducated raise their hope because He has pardoned according to our words. This message will bless you more.
Thu, 26 Mar 2020 - 18min - 93 - Chapter 3 - O Lord Hear, O Lord Forgive
Daniel also had to intercede for his people in the first year of Darius the son of Ahasuerus. He needed deliverance from captivity for his people. He understood by the books of the prophecies of Jeremiah that the 3time of deliverance is now. Though the prophecies indicated that the time of deliverance for his people is now yet he Daniel understood that it required prayer and fasting with sackcloth and ashes to shift the prophecies into gear. Hence he set his face to fast and pray. And the first thing he did in his prayer of intercession was to acknowledge God and ask for his forgiveness. Why? Daniel was a man of understanding. He knew that if God truly is a God who keeps covenant with those who love Him and keep His Commandment then being in captivity is a proof that God has not kept His covenant with them. And if He has not kept his covenant them its a proof they have not loved Him and kept His commandments. If they have not kept his commandment then they have sinned. So it became necessary that he starts to intercede from the point of their Iniquity. So Daniel's prayer is summed up in this statement - "O Lord Hear, O Lord Forgive." Precious One, it is time for us to cry to God with this same statement - O Lord hear, O Lord forgive our nations, our people, our leaders, our ministers, our judges and corporate officials. O Lord hear, O Lord forgive our fathers, our children our colleagues, our church leaders. O Lord, hear and forgive. This segment will bless you.
Wed, 25 Mar 2020 - 19min - 92 - Chapter 2 - For The Righteous Sake
Abraham stood between Sodom and God. He negotiated for deliverance for Sodom and Gomorrah. He argued that because the righteous are also in the land it will not be proper for God to destroy the entire cities. God's response was this - if I find twenty people in the land I will not destroy it. How about ten righteous? God's response was the same - if I find ten righteous there I will not destroy it. This suggests that God was willing to spare the entire cities if ten righteous men were there. Now, if a matter between man and God, another man can intercede how much more a matter between man and hell? For the sake of the righteous in the land it cannot be considered proper that our cities and nations be destroy. It can't be proper. If we can negotiate God on behalf of another man, city or nation then we can command and rebuke the devil and hell on behalf of the same. We can lift up a standard against every flood of demonic pandemics and pestilence. If believers would pray on behalf of the nations of this world we will bring the power of God to bear on the current situation that confronts us. Remember, whatsoever we shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven. This message will charge you to intercede like never before.
Tue, 24 Mar 2020 - 16min - 91 - Chapter 1 - I Sought For A Man
And I sought for a man among them, to make up the hedge and to stand in the gap.... But there was none. When the natural is overwhelmed the supernatural must be brought to bear on that realm. When man's effort becomes inadequate, divine effort must be invoked. At such a time like this God needs a man who can stand as a wall against the pandemic and a bridge between the natural and the supernatural so that deliverance can happen, miracles can occur and the salvation of the Lord would be revealed. God needs an intercessor at such a time like this. A man or woman who will want to pray at least one hour everyday on behalf of our world today. It is good to share and forward protocols that helps people to stay safe. But it's better when you are also interceding for our world. When James was arrested and beheaded it was because the church did not intercede. Hence Herod didn't see why he can't take Peter as well. When Peter was arrested and imprisoned, men and women prayed. The angel of the Lord was sent to deliver him. Intercession procures uncommon results. This message will bless you more.
Mon, 23 Mar 2020 - 16min - 90 - Chapter 4 - Raise Your Expectations
Crisis has a way of making you fear and perpetually have the worse case scenario set before your eyes. You are always hoping that the worse will not happen. Jacob was being cheated by his own uncle. What a crisis. He wanted to turn the situation around. God appeared unto him and said, if you want th animals to give birth to speckled and spotted offspring set peeled rods of chestnuts in the watering trough. When the animals come to drink, their eyes would be set on them, and reproduce he same. What you set before you during prayer or crisis, will be produced in your life. Joseph was sold into slavery. It took 22 years for him to meet hi brothers and to reveal himself to them. Joseph, who understood how to live above crisis said, "you meant it for evil but God meant it for good. God sent me ahead of you to preserve your life. So God had a bigger plan. Jacob and his family would have perished if Joseph had not bee sent 22 years ahead. The God who saw 22 years ahead before famine crisis came upon the then known world and therefore sent Joseph ahead, that same God is 22 years ahead of you. Before your crisis emerged He had sent someone ahead of you 22 years ago. Precious One, this is why you need to raise your expectations. Help is on the way. Your God is gone ahead of you. Let your whole body reflect that God did send a Joseph ahead of you 22 years ago. This message will bless you more.
Fri, 20 Mar 2020 - 20min - 89 - Chapter 3- Rebuke The Crisis
The fact that Jesus is in the boat does not mean that storms would not beat against you. It will, but be rest assured that with Him in your boat you are safe. This is the lesson the disciples learnt eventually. Jesus was sleeping in the boat and the wind and the sea were beating against their boat. Jesus was still sleeping. How could someone have sleep in the midst of storm? If you know your God nothing intimidates you. When the skills and experiences of the disciples couldn’t steer the boat any longer they went to the master for help. There are certain situations that would require the supernatural assuage it. Jesus woke up, looked at their faces and saw only fear. He questioned them,”why are you so fearful. You of little faith.” And He got up, rebuked the wind and the sea and they ceased. Glory to God. Precious One, if you will rebuke the storm in the name of Jesus it will cease. This podcast will bless you.
Thu, 19 Mar 2020 - 13min - 88 - Chapter 2 - Encourage Yourself In the Lord
There are times, in the face of crisis, when you simply don't know what to do. Times you wished you knew this was coming and you had prepared enough. Times you realize that all you had in your bank account, all the certificates you have in your drawers, all the networks and social capital is useless in the face certain crisis. This was the case of David when he returned to Ziklag only to find his family (wives and children) taken captives by the Amalakites. They took everything and destroyed those they can't take along wiythem. It was a terrible sight for David and his men. The men sat down and all they could do was to weep bitterly. David wept, his men wept and everyone wept. Each had questions - how did this happened? Who is behind it? Are our families slaughtered or alive with those who took them captives? Have our wives been raped? Endless questions that makes a man of war to weep till he had no strength to weep more. They all began to find who to blame. David became their target to blame and to stone to death. But David, stead of finding someone to blame, encouraged himself in the Lord. Precious One, encouraging yourself in the Lord is key to maintaining your hope even though you see no light. Encouraging yourself is important in generating strength to work with God in resolving crisis. Are you in the midst of crisis? Encourage yourself. To encourage yourself is to reflect on the word of God, His promises and build assurances in your soul. If God be for you who can be against you. This podcast will bless you more.
Wed, 18 Mar 2020 - 17min - 87 - Chapter 1- Be Still
Precious One, whether you are a believer or not, there will always be a time in one's life when retreating is cowardice, halting is disastrous and yet it is impossible to go forward. And such point in life what will you do? This was the exact case of the children of Israel when they came to the Red Sea. This is not what we bargained for? We thought God knew the way. How come we are now stark or faced with strange challenges that seems to ground us down? Moses knew one thing - with God all things are possible. He assured the children of Israel not to fret but rather be still and see the salvation of the Lord. Anyone who knows his God, in the face of challenges, will strengthen himself and do exploit. Be still (be relaxed, calm) because the Lord is your shepherd. Be still and see (or expect the salvation of the Lord). God will fight for you and you will hold your peace. Precious One, we live in a time where many are afraid for their own lives. Currently, I see both the rich and the poor are afraid. I see the educated and the uneducated also afraid. Male and female, young and old are all afraid for teir lives. But when it comes to believers and unbelievers there's a difference. He that has believed and received His Spirit has not received the spirit of bondage again to fear. Precious One, be still both in your spirit and in your mind. Are two sparrows not sold for a farthing and yet your father in heaven will not let one fall unto the ground. I want you to be assured today that you are worth more than many sparrows to God so He keep you. Be still because God will fight for you. This podcast will bless you more.
Tue, 17 Mar 2020 - 11min - 86 - Chapter 5- It's Not Over With You Yet
God asked Jeremiah to speak to the house of Israel saying, "Can't I do with you as this Potter has done with this clay?" It is a question that is supposed to set the wise thinking and reflecting. Are you hurting? Have you been trodden down? Have you been betrayed by someone you trusted so much? Have you been denied the greatest opportunity to have turned your life around? Are you losing hope for your life? Ruth and Orpah lost their husbands. Naomi lost a husband and two sons. Three women who were wives have now been disfigured with widowhood. Naomi concluded its over with her. She convinced her daughter in laws who are now widows to give up and go back to their families. This is not what these women signed for in marriage but circumstances have Marred the future they dreamt and desired. Ruth chose not to believe that it is over with her. She still wants to continue. As long as there's God and we have life we can't believe it's over at this time. Orpah returned but Ruth marched on. Ruth, a Moabitish woman now in Israel determined to work to feed herself and mother in law. Through that she met Boaz, a wealthy man. They married, gave birth to Obed. Obed gave birth to Jesse the father of David. Ruth ended up being the great grandmother of David. Isn't it beautiful? Remember, all is well when it ends well. Can't God do with you as the Potter did with the clay? This podcast will bless you more
Fri, 13 Mar 2020 - 18min - 85 - Chapter 4- The Vessel That Seems Good To Him
We are the clay but He's the Potter. If the vessel of clay should get Marred in his hand in the process, He surely will make it again. God never gives up on any life unless you give up yourself. The finished vessel will always be by the vision of the Potter. The finished vessel will be by the execution of the Potter. But this same vessel will be the possession of the Potter. David was relegated to the back of the countryside. He could have concluded that God has failed him. But rather he saw it as his training time. When his training was finished he was moved to the palace. He shepherd Israel as a king. David as the king-vessel was the execution of God but he also became the possession of God. God from that time referred to David as "my servant" or "a man after my own heart". Not too long ago I met a woman who is a staunch Christian who lost her husband suddenly. She was filled with pain and endless questions for the Lord. A week after the burial of the husband she was invited to help comfort another woman who has also lost the husband. She felt it was inappropriate for someone to even think of such invitation. But God impressed on her to honor the invitation. According to her, she found her comfort in the process of comforting another person. She began to realize that she she has become a tool in the hands of the Potter to fix others who are struggling through pain and grief. She has written a book that will help unborn generations find comfort in the Lord in times of their adversities. This is the Vessel that God has raised to be a tool and the example God wants to give to mankind. This segment will bless you more.
Thu, 12 Mar 2020 - 15min - 84 - Chapter 3- So He Made Another Vessel
The vessel that is in the hands of the potter may get marred yet the potter is committed to making a better vessel out of the deformed vessel. God never gives up on any life except we give up on ourselves. Jephthah was born by a prostitute so his brethren thrust him out of his father’s house. He was disenfranchised because his mother made a choice to make a living by prostitution. He was rejected and he became a wanderer. God took Jephthah in the wilderness of Tob and made him strong. Men gathered to him and he became an army commander. When war broke out between Israel and the Ammonites. Israel sought for help and they found no help elsewhere but in Jephthah and his men. This is how he became a judge in Israel. Jephthah was rejected but the potter used that to build him into a judge or ruler of Israel. You may have been ill treated - rejected, abused, hurt, crushed by people you trusted or love. Remember, the potter is making you into another but a better vessel. Don’t give up on yourself. Begin to thank God for everything. Encourage yourself in the Lord and look at how you can learn great lessons for a better tomorrow. This segment will bless you more.
Wed, 11 Mar 2020 - 15min - 83 - Chapter 2- The Marred Vessel
As Jeremiah observed the potter at work, he noticed that the vessel which was being formed out of the clay got marred at some point. And the potter had to fix that. This means that a vessel being formed or shaped by the hand of God can be marred. Mephibosheth the son of Jonathan, the son of King Saul was born a prince. As a little boy he had a nurse who took care of him. When news broke that King Saul and his father Jonathan has been killed in battle, the nurse in haste picked him and in fear fleeing dropped the boy and he became lame. David woke up one day and desired to show kindness to the house of Saul for the sake of his friend Jonathan. None could be found but Mephibosheth. David have him the greatest privilege - to eat continually at his table. Mephibosheth replied, why pay attention to such a dead dog like me. He has lost hope in himself and devalued his life. Such are many Christians. They have been marred by the scars of broken trust, the wounds of unfaithfulness and the pain of rejection. They treat others with pain of yester years. The can’t love themselves or others because they were denied or abused in life. Humankind has a way of hurting and marring each other and yet the potter keeps working on the vessel. This episode will bless you.
Tue, 10 Mar 2020 - 22min - 82 - CHAPTER 1 - THE POTTER HAS A PURPOSE
He is the Potter but we are the clay. Clay in itself has no attraction but very useful in making of various vessels, pots, etc. The word of the Lord came to Jeremiah - go to the potter's house and there I will speak to you a word. The prophet got there only to meet the potter at work undertaking a project. From. Where Jeremiah was standing g he could not appreciate exactly what the Potter was making out of the clay but he was sure he was doing a project, he wrought a work on the wheels. The wheels are turning around, the clay is being placed on it to shape the clay but it is the Potter who has the original design in his head and so his hand guides the vessel formation as the clay is placed on the wheels. God is the Potter. We are the Clay. But the World we live in is the wheels. The wheels of life keeps turning us around, but the hand of the Potter is taking advantage of the wheels to turn us into something beautiful. Surely, the Potter is not playing with the clay. He has a purpose. He has said, "I know the thoughts that I think towards you. Thoughts do good and not evil, to give you peace and an expected end. When you plan your life and somethings do not go according to plan know that His purpose is at play. This podcast will bless you.
Mon, 09 Mar 2020 - 13min - 81 - Chapter 4- You Are A Citizen of The Kingdom
Abraham sought for a city which had foundation, whose builder and maker is Jehovah. He knew there was a city like that. The city of God. No city or country has enduring foundations. Today this is city is up and tomorrow the same city is in mess. Egypt used to be a major country of wealth and power. The same with Babylon, the Greek empire, that of the Romans, etc. None has endured beyond time, recession or crisis. But the believer has entered into 'the kingdom'. Not a kingdom but the kingdom. This is the kingdom which has foundation, whose builder and maker is Jehovah. The born again has entered into Zion, the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. And there, we live and walk amongst an I numerate company of angels. (Heb 12:22). What a citizenship. Who will possess the passport of Zion and want to use illegal means to go to United Kingdom? If you understand your citizenship, the privileges and advantages it gives you, you will awake to the fact that you don't need a fraudulent marriage to gain citizenship in any country on earth. In Zion, billions of angels accompany us. Therefore we are not afraid of demonic attacks, sicknesses or diseases that spread like wild fire. Our economy is different. Though we are in this world we are not of it. What plagues people of this world cannot come near us. Elisha prayed to God to open the eyes of his servant to see that those with him are more than the Syrian army who has besieged him. The servant saw and it was an innumerable chariots of fire. Glory to God. Precious One, let your eyes be opened to see that your citizenship in Zion is all you ever needed to rule and reign in this life. This message will bless you more.
Thu, 27 Feb 2020 - 21min - 80 - Chapter 3 - Heirs Of God
If you have been born again, you are known by heaven as the 'believer' or the 'called'. He who has called us is faithful. The One who has called us alone makes us special, unique and a blessed people. He is faithful. A faithful God has called us. How faithful is this God. Amongst the Jews, there's a better rendition of God's faithful by which standard all His people must live up to. So there's an account of a Rabbi who demonstrated faithfulness according to scripture: "Rabbi Phineas, the son of Jair, dwelt in a certain city, whither some men came who had two measures of barley, which they desired him to preserve for them. They afterwards forgot their barley and went away. Rabbi Phineas each year sowed the barley, reaped, thrashed, and laid it up in his granary. When seven years had elapsed the men returned, and desired to have the barley with which they had entrusted him. Rabbi Phineas recollected them, and said, 'Come and take your treasure,' i.e. the barley they had left, with all that it had produced for seven years - hundred of bags of barley. Thus, from the faithfulness of the disciple we may know the faithfulness of God." Whatever is entrusted to God does not remain the same. In 7 years we will be 100 times more blessed. Though our beginning is small our latter end will be greater. This is why we cannot be afraid of the future. Not only that. God called us for a purpose - to make us partakers or associates with His Son Jesus, our Lord. What does this mean? It means God's inheritance, He has called us to co-own it with His son. Its like a rich man saying, "I have an only Son but my riches are so much I need you to join my son to spend it". Isn't this beautiful? You can never be poor the rest of your life if you catch this truth. Glory to God. This podcast will bless you more.
Wed, 26 Feb 2020 - 20min - 79 - Chapter 2- You Are For Signs And For Miracles
He that is born of God is the one who has believed on Jesus Christ. Heaven calls such the believer. Because such a person has discern what a natural man cannot discern. And has believed what a natural mind cannot comprehend to believe. Precious, Jesus gave us this assurance that whosoever (rich or poor, young or old, male or female, educated or uneducated) believes and shall be baptized shall be saved. So the born again is free from damnation. Before God such is not the enemy of God. Not only that but this also. The following signs shall also follow the believer or born again - In My Name... (the believer has access and permission of heaven to use the Name.) Anywhere you will stand and declare, "in the name of Jesus..." you should see results. Glory to God! Not everyone uses the name and gets results. Through that same name, you can cast out devils, heal the sick and if you drink any deadly thing it shall not hurt you. Isn't this an extraordinary life? Precious One, you are not ordinary if you have been born again. You are for signs and for miracles. Being born again is a big deal. If your life as a believer is not extra 'O', then you lack the true knowledge. This segment will bless you more.
Tue, 25 Feb 2020 - 18min - 78 - Chapter 1 - You Have A New Nature
Precious One, have you been born again? What does it mean to be born again? What are the implications of being born again? What does being born again do for me? Being born again is being born into Christ. If you are born into Christ then you are a new creature (or species). The old things are gone. Behold (or see it), every thing is become new. The man or woman born again has died with his human nature with Christ but has resurrected with His divine nature. So then, he that is born again is no longer of the humankind but rather the God-kind. This is why God called His people, "Ye are gods and all of you are the children of the Most High..." (Ps 82:6 /John 10:30-34). This revelation can change everything about you, child of God. The consciousness of this truth will bring you into your inheritance. The gods of the earth are those who have the dominion. The devil will no longer have dominion over you. The gods of the earth are the representatives and children of the Most High. They will reign and rule. This podcast will bless you like never before.
Mon, 24 Feb 2020 - 21min - 77 - Chapter 5 - You Have A Sound Mind
We have not received the spirit of fear... but of a sound mind. The Greek word translated "sound mind" means a "controlled mind". The Spirit we have received enables us to control or garrison our hearts and minds against unfruitful thoughts and demonic suggestions. Your mind is your battle ground. The devil always attacks by dropping a thought into your mind. The thoughts will generate internal discussion and argument. The conclusion of that discussion will eventually become your approach or personal policy. This is what happened to Eve in the garden. Precious One, if you don't control your mind by the spirit combined with the word, then your mind will control you. This Devotional Podcast will help you known how to control your mind and have peace in the midst of storms. This will bless you more
Fri, 21 Feb 2020 - 19min - 76 - Chapter 4 - Transform Your Mind
Being born again we need to renew our minds. The earthy mindset must be reset to heavenly mindset. You have heard that it's been said, "an eye for an eye but I say unto you when you are smitten on the right cheek offer the left cheek also." this is a higher mindset. If a man does not understand this wisdom and reset his mind to this wisdom he will not be able to think like God or function like Him. This is how God thinks. God did cast man out of the garden if Eden for disobedience. But on the way God gave them a covering for their nakedness. God's mindset is superior. This segment will bless you.
Thu, 20 Feb 2020 - 18min - 75 - Chapter 3 - Criteria For Thinking
The Holy Scriptures provides us a criteria. This segment is to enable the believer appreciate that God provides us a benchmark for measuring our thoughts. This segment will bless you more
Thu, 20 Feb 2020 - 19min - 74 - Chapter 2 - Think Like God
God thinks. For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, says the Lord. Thoughts of peace and not evil, to give you an expected end. God thinks peace towards us. Should I not think peace at a times? God does not think evil. Should I think that evil will befall me? Until my thinking aligns with God there's no way we can have a peaceful life. Think like God.
Thu, 20 Feb 2020 - 14min - 73 - Chapter 1- As A Man Thinks
As a man thinks in his heart so is he. As he continues, so he remains. Your thoughts are very powerful. This is because thoughts are like seeds. They always germinate for us to eat the fruit thereof. You are where you are in life as a result of your cumulative thoughts for the past 10 years. Your thoughts create your character and your character creates your actions. Moses thought of the slavery of the children of Israel and how he could help in delivering them. He became Moses (the deliverer). God deals with men according to their heart (Gen 6:5). Precious One, change is what man struggles with. But until you change your thinking or elevate it you will remain the same or worse off. This podcast will bless you.
Mon, 17 Feb 2020 - 13min - 72 - Chapter 6- The Helmet And The Sword
The Helmet of salvation is God's protection for you against the stones of darkness that would be hurled at you. It is to protect the members of your head like the ear. Are you saved? Are you sure? The confidence you gave in your salvation is so important lest the enemy will attack your salvation. You will end up feeling so not saved. And then he can attack you. Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling (work and bring out the salvation in you so all men would know that you are saved. The Word on the other hand is to help you defend against the person of the devil, to slay him out. When Satan came to Jesus after he had fasted forty days and forty night, He (Jesus) responded "it is written". After three cuts of the sword of the Spirit the devil left him. Precious One, you will need your sword and your helmet at all times to triumph in every situation every day. God bless you
Mon, 17 Feb 2020 - 16min - 71 - Chapter 5- Your Shield of Faith
One of the most powerful weapons of hell is fear. Fear of death, fear of terminal ailments, fear of accident or losing one's job, fear of witches and Witchcraft, fear of the unknown. Fear opens doors in your life for a lot of demonic attacks and influences. Fear can cripple your strategic mental powers. In ancient warfare the dart was deemed fiery. This is because the dart was first set on fire before it was shot at the enemy. Wooden shields and mighty men were set ablaze by the fiery dart of the enemy. It required iron shields to quench fiery darts. But the most powerful armour against fear is faith. Faith annihilates the evil power of fear. Just as Job was plagued with crisis by the devil, every Christian will also, at one point in your life, come to a Red Sea, bitter waters of Marah, or impenetrable wars of Jericho, or thirsty lands of Rephidim, the flooded rivers of Jordan or the giants of Caanan. Any of these have been design to put fear in you, to give up on your God, or your self and return back to Mizraim or Egypt. How do I then quench the fiery darts of the devil? This podcast will help you build this insight so you can walk by faith above all the wiles of the enemy, and not by sight. God bless you
Fri, 14 Feb 2020 - 16min - 70 - Chapter 4- The Shoe Of The Gospel Of Peace
What a shoe. Sharing the gospel of our Lord Jesus is your calling but also your armour. The devil is afraid of the man who shares the gospel day by day. How does it work? Remember, the gospel is the power of God unto salvation. Which suggests that the power of God to save and deliver is embedded in the gospel. He who holds the gospel in his hands has God's power to save and deliver in his hand. What and who can you be afraid of? Secondly the primary business of God is to bring all. Men to the saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus. He who is at the forefront of this business is an asset to the kingdom. The forces of heaven will ways defend and preserve such an asset. This podcast will bless you.
Thu, 13 Feb 2020 - 14min - 69 - Chapter 3 - The Breastplate Of Righteousness
When we got born again God imputed to us His righteousness. This means that we have the nature of God to do what is right, to walk right at all times. But the devil is the accuser of the brethren. He is always finding ways to accuse us so he can attack us. As an accuser he will want to bring temptation your way to taint your righteousness purposely that he might accuse you and have access to your life. Another approach he might take is to bring you under the burden of guilt. He will consistently attack you with your wretched past. But the righteousness of God you have is your armour against these. As a child of God you have been made the righteousness of God in Christ. This means you showcase God's righteousness in this life. If somebody wants to know how God's righteousness looks like, you are the best person to look at. So then there're certain things you can't do as the icon of God's righteousness. To wear this armour is to consciously possess this truth in you at all times. With such consciousness guilty conscience and temptations cannot have dominion over you.
Tue, 11 Feb 2020 - 12min - 68 - Chapter 2- Put on The Belt of Truth
To be able to withstand the wiles of the devil you will need your belt of truth girded about your loins. See, the devil cannot attack a life, if he first has. O access to that life. So Jesus said, the Prince of this world comes and he has nothing in me. Put on the belt of truth lest the accuser of the brethren will have the opportunity to accuse you and also strike. What does it mean to put on the belt of truth. It refers to living a life of truth. Don't live a life of lies. Some Christians have a whole personality of lies. Nothing about them is true. They are not truthful to themselves. Neither are they truthful to others. They have lied and still working hard everyday to make sure the truth is not revealed. As an employee you don't lie to your employer. Employer be truthful and open to your employees. Husband, let there be nothing you are hiding. Wife, is there anything you have not been sincere about? The devil is liar; he lied from the beginning. He is the father of the lying life. This is why he can enter any life that lives on lies. In the advent of social media, living or presenting an untrue life has become the other of the day. Many are deceiving and also being deceived. By this life of lies we create an environment around us to enable the enterprises of hell to thrive against us. This podcast will bless you.
Tue, 11 Feb 2020 - 12min - 67 - Chapter 1- Be Strong In The Lord
Finally my brethren be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. The last part of Ephesians chapter 6 talks about how we need, as Christians, to stand against the forces of hell and darkness. This latter part of the chapter helps us to understand that the forces of hell will definitely come up against us, the same way he went against Eve in the garden and Jesus in the wilderness. But we are already given keys to maintain our ground, never to lose it to the devil. The keys are - Be Strong (so you can resist these forces) and put on the amour (to protect you from the wiles of the enemy). And having done all, stand. Be strong in the Lord means we are to be courageous and resolute in the mind and in the inside, that nothing can intimidate us. Nothing can put us down because the greater one dwells in us. Goliath was a man of war, thick and tall. Fearful and intimidating to everyone. King Saul was the tallest in Israel but yet he was afraid. The issues of life cannot be steered with physical body size, the color of your skin or how muscular you are. When David showed up he compared Goliath to the greater One who is with him. He confused that Goliath is a piece of meat for him. David took the challenge. Before the fight, David by the confidence and strength he had in the Lord assured Goliath that he will cut off his head and give his body to the birds of the sky. Glory to Jesus. That is exactly what he did to Goliath. It was a small thing for David to bring Goliath down. Precious one, do you cry when things are not going the way you want. Is something defying you and the God you serve. Arise today in the power of His might and cut off its head. This segment will bless you like never before.
Mon, 10 Feb 2020 - 15min - 66 - Chapter 5 - Quench Not The Spirit
To grieve the Spirit is to make Him sad. But to quench the Spirit is to put out or extinguish the fire, operation and ministry of the Holy Spirit in your life. Hence, Paul by the Spirit admonished that we should not in any way quench the Spirit. There are so many ways we quench the Holy Spirit and when that happens the move of the Spirit in our lives, family, churches and our Communities ceases. The God element and the supernatural is no long experienced. The Holy Scripture teaches us that unrepenting character quenches the fire and ministry of the Spirit. King Saul sinned against God. When he was confronted by Samuel he pleaded, "I have sinned yet honor me now before the elders of my people and before Israel..." (1Sam 15:30). The Spirit of the Lord left him and an evil spirit rather ceased the opportunity to torment him. David equally sinned but when he was confronted he fell down, accepted full responsibility and pleaded for his iniquities. He cried,"... renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy presence and take not thy Holy Spirit from me." (Ps 59). God gave David His favor and sustained him with His Spirit. Precious One, quench not the Spirit. This segment will help you see the various ways we can quench the Holy Spirit. You will be blessed.
Fri, 07 Feb 2020 - 19min - 65 - Chapter 4- Grieve Not The Holy Spirit of God
The Bible admonishes us not to harden our hearts just like the children of Israel did in the day of provocation, the day of temptation in the wilderness. "When your fathers tempted me, proved me and saw my works 40 years." God was grieved with that generation and swore that they shall not enter into His rest. The Holy Spirit is in our lives to make us effective and efficient. To lead us unto all truth, telling us of things to come. But when He is grieved, His power and influence in our lives and through our lives diminishes. To grieve the Spirit is to make him sad. When love is put through pain it does not get angry but grieves. What are some of the things we do to make the Spirit grieve? This chapter will help you build insight into the things that grieves Him. And as you avoid these you will begin to experience strongly the power and influence of the Holy Spirit in your life. You will be blessed.
Thu, 06 Feb 2020 - 17min - 64 - Chapter 3- The Holy Spirit Makes You A Witness For Jesus
You shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost has come upon you. "And what will be the essence of the Holy Spirit coming upon me with power", you may ask. To make you a witness of Jesus Christ our Lord. Christ has come, Christ has died, Christ has resurrected and set mankind free, Christ has ascended, Christ is seated at the right hand of God. How do we know these are true? The Holy Ghost makes you, the one who has received Him, witness of these things. You are telling me today that Jesus has made me free from my sins and addictions. All I need to do is accept Him as Lord. Where is the evidence of that claim? This is the witness - once I was an addict myself but today I have broken through the addiction. If it has worked for you then I think it will also work for me. These signs shall follow them that believe. In my name they will cast out devils, heal the sick, raise the dead and if they drink any deadly thing it shall not hurt them. All these are going to follow you if you make effort to witness for Jesus. The Holy Ghost brings power and the power makes us effective witness. Without stepping out to witness this power is ineffective and the supernatural becomes absent in our days. The Holy Ghost make you a witness for Jesus
Wed, 05 Feb 2020 - 13min - 63 - Chapter 2- We’ve Not Heard There’s A Holy Spirit
Paul found genuine disciples in Ephesus. Paul understood one thing-every believe without the Holy Spirit will always be defeated. So he asked these disciples a simple question - “have you received the Holy Spirit after you believed?” The answer was simply this - No, we have not even heard there’s a Holy Spirit. Precious One, have you heard there’s a Holy Spirit? Have you received the Holy Spirit after you believed? If you have received, do you walk and work with the Holy Spirit of God? If your answer to any of these questions is ‘No’, then know today that you have picked your own pocket. This podcast will introduce you to the person of the Holy Spirit. You will be blessed like never before.
Tue, 04 Feb 2020 - 21min - 62 - Chapter 1- I Will Not Leave You Comfortless
Jesus came to dwell with us - Emmanuel. We beheld the Word made flesh. We beheld His glory as of the only begotten of the Father full of grace and truth. Jesus with us, He healed our sick, raised the dead, multiplied bread and fishes. It was a lovely experience having God walked on the earth. Then Jesus says, I have to go. How? The objective for Jesus coming was not to dwell with us but rather, show us how the life of God in man lives. Then He Jesus can dwell in us and live through us. The greatest spiritual experience is when a man receives the Holy Spirit into him and allows the Spirit to live through him. I will not leave you comfortless, says the Lord. So you are not alone.
Mon, 03 Feb 2020 - 20min - 61 - Chapter 4- Run With The Vision
Let him who reads the vision run (with it) according to Habakkuk 2:2. To run as used in the scripture is employed poetically to mean 'to live for' or 'to live by'. This suggests that our lives must be fueled by vision and our lives must progress towards a vision. The life that we have received from God is a gift. What we make out of that life is our gift back to God. This is why we must live intentionally for a vision. Elisha had a vision - to be the next CEO of the prophetic ministry of his time. He followed his master closely although he was older than Elijah. From Gilgal to Bethel, from Bethel to Jericho, from Jericho to Jordan all Elijah wanted to depart without Elisha knowing. But the vision was so important to Elisha he wouldn't let go his master. Eventually, over Jordan he took hold of the vision. And upon his return from the other side of Jordan, the sons of the prophet confessed that he has received the spirit of his master. This was not the case of Gehazi, the servant of Elisha. He wanted to live for nothing bigger than himself. All he wanted was money. Money is not a vision. He eventually inherited a leprosy for himself and his generation. Why? He was vision-less. Precious One, the greatness of a man is in the vision he lives for, and the price he is willing to pay in realizing that vision. God bless you.
Thu, 30 Jan 2020 - 16min - 60 - Chapter 3- Write The Vision Down
God will throw His weight behind a man of vision. But God is interested in a vision that has been written and made plain. God is a God of documentation. He made Moses write the commandment on a tablet. He asked Isaiah to write the vision on a scroll. He instructed Jeremiah to write the vision in a book. With Habakkuk he told him, write the vision down and engrave it plainly on a tablet. Why? A vision written is an important one. Secondly if you write it down it will be a witness or measuring line whether you are living by it or not. Precious One, God will want to help you realize a greater vision but you will have to bring it out plainly and well written down. God bless you
Wed, 29 Jan 2020 - 12min - 59 - Chapter 2- Look From Where You Are
God is willing to throw His weight behind a man of vision. A man who is going somewhere with his life. But before vision can be sound one must look first and assess where he is and how far he wants to go. Look from where you are today - is it the life you have always dreamt of? Is this the spiritual walk you have always wanted with Jesus? Is this the family you wanted to build? Is this the way you had wanted to spend your life and your days on earth? The questions are many and if your answer is no, then lift up your eyes. As far as you can see God will give it unto you.
Tue, 28 Jan 2020 - 16min - 58 - Chapter 1 - Now, Lift Up Your Eyes
Vision is what brings God's help. A life that is going nowhere God cannot throw His weight behind. Vision must go beyond yourself. Self-centeredness is no vision. This being the case, it is time to lift up your eyes and cast a vision.
Mon, 27 Jan 2020 - 12min - 57 - Chapter 4- Love Cannot Hate
It is a fact that if a man says He loves God whom he does not see and hates his brother whom he sees, the same is a liar and has not known the true God. It takes faith to love a God we don’t see. This is why mankind find it easier to worship idols made of wood and clay. Because they are visible to the eyes. How then can a man hate his brother whom he sees and yet say he loves God? Remember, the one who has the love of God od cannot hate. Secondly, we know that we love God if we obey his commandment. God’s commandment, if obeyed would bring us into deeper love of our brothers and sister. So this suggests that loving God is obeying His commandment and obeying His commandment brings about the love of the brethren. This episode will bless you.
Thu, 23 Jan 2020 - 13min - 56 - Chapter 3 - God Is Love
God is love and true love, agape is God. This means God is the source of all rue love, the agape. Until a man is connected to the true source he can’t access the true love and neither can he give true love. God is love. This suggests that Gods DNA is love. His character and life is love. Then God can’t hate a person. He can hate sin and abhor it but not our person. This being the case, any man norm of God has no choice but to love because it’s the character of God and all those born of Him. Anyone therefor who says he knows God and yet can hate his brother or sister does not know this God. He’s mistaken to have thought that he’s born of God but he’s not. See, the love which flows from God can’t say I hate you. This is why of all that was meted on Jesus even to the cross He had to pray for the perpetrators, “Father forgive them for they know not what they do.” Wow! This is love. Beloved, if we are the children of God, truly the sons and daughters of God, then we ought to love one another as Christ loves us and have himself for us. You will be blessed by this podcast.
Wed, 22 Jan 2020 - 17min - 55 - Chapter 2 - But Love God First
To be able to love one another the way Christ loves us, we will need to replace the human love with God kind of love. See, the han love is self-centered, selfish and self seeking. To love my brother and sister the way of God is to pursue a commandment I never had capacity for in the first place. So then, God required that we love him first with all that we have - heart, soul and body. In so doing we hand over all of our imperfect love. We empty ourselves so He fills us with His kind of love. Love God First and it will be a lifestyle loving every one the God kind of way, every day. You will be blessed as you listen.
Tue, 21 Jan 2020 - 15min - 54 - Chapter 1 - His Commandment Is Love
Precious One, Jesus left us a single commandment and that is to live one another as He has loved us. Love is not as has been defined by man's lust and selfish interest. This love Jesus talks about is that kind whose outworking is based on accurate knowledge, true value. Remember, God created man in the image of God and in the image of God created He him; male and female created he them. Our intrinsic value is our true value and love relates, pursues us by reason of the intrinsic value. This episode will bless you more.
Mon, 20 Jan 2020 - 11min - 53 - Chapter 4 - Crucify Hatred
Hatred is a wrong passion of the Flesh. This passion does not wish others well. It resents people who are not in agreement with us, or are better than us. Hatred thrives in a competitive environment. Hatred can mislead you into greater evils. Had Cain known, he would have dealt with his hatred for his brother. Eventually he became a murderer and a fugitive. Hatred is a wrong passion which should not be entertained in the Christian walk. It blocks the flow of the power of God. Sometimes people justify why some people must be hated but I tell you the truth, I lie not, my conscience bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost you have no right to hate a man created by God, in His image and after His likeness. This segment will help you know better the lust called hatred and how to deal with it. You will be blessed like never before.

In church and in the middle of service, the same. Beloved, social media can't give you life oy God can. If God is not occupying your mind, you have missed it. Don't forget this also - stubbornness is as Witchcraft. In our days, the use of charms and spells, to control others for money, sex and favours is a common thing. Wed, 15 Jan 2020 - 17min - 50 - Chapter 1 - Crucify The Flesh
Anyone truly in Christ has already crucified the flesh, it’s passion and lust thereof. Christians today struggle to live holy, without victory over temptations because the flesh is very alive. To crucify the flesh is not suppose to be forever, It is about replacing your flesh with the Spirit, your desires with the desires of God and thinking and walking like God. It is about replacing your appetite for anger, immorality, vengeance, etc with God’s appetite for godliness, brotherly love, and forgiveness. This is the normal Christian life and the path to the beautiful life. This segment will help you to understand that until the flesh is crucified struggles with the Christian walk will not cease.
