Wed, 11 Mar 2026 - 6710 - LA Marathon Commentary Sounds Like... Something Else
We played a secret sound that had everyone convinced it was from "the hub" or Married At First Sight's intimacy week, but it was actually just the Los Angeles Marathon commentary of a woman losing her absolute mind screaming "WHOA! OH MY GOD!" over and over during a close finish—and we couldn't stop laughing because it sounded exactly like a When Harry Met Sally situation on free-to-air TV.

Tue, 10 Mar 2026 - 6705 - Ricki Had To Make Out With A Guy On A Car Bonnet For No Reason
We discovered intimacy coordinators on film sets choreograph every movement and use fabric barriers between actors to avoid touching bits, plus guys sometimes have to leave set to do push-ups or jumping jacks in their little pouches to "manage blood flow" during steamy scenes. Ricki revealed she once had to film a saucy scene for a music video where her record label made her make out with a hot guy on the bonnet of a car despite it having absolutely nothing to do with the song—she just steals a car, picks up a hitchhiker, and suddenly they're making out for no reason before she washes her face.

A UK mum and her mate got locked out after a big night and the entire drunken exchange was captured on their Ring doorbell—they're yelling at the camera asking to be let in while her son keeps responding "I'm in Spain" because he's literally on holiday and can't help. We asked Sydney what's been caught on their cameras and Jamie from Thornleigh revealed their neighbour was caught on camera having a full phone conversation while picking their nose and eating it.

That's our new number now... Sydney at 6 covered someone getting locked up for hiding lizards in popcorn packets to smuggle them, then we discovered real estate agents are promoting properties by singing hilarious cover songs. We spun the Wheel for 'Can I Have the First Line?', heard brutal birthday stories including a woman whose Vegas 40th got COVID-cancelled and Luke Burgess who got burgled on his 16th, and New Music Friday delivered the goods. A New York woman hired a handyman off TaskRabbit for his cute profile pic and now they're engaged, Ring doorbell cameras caught a drunk UK mum locked out yelling "let me in" while her son replied "I'm in Spain," and we asked about celeb crushes after discovering women are rejecting men based on their hall pass choices. We crowned Caller of the Week and wrapped with our Week In Review.

Thu, 19 Feb 2026 - 6651 - She Hired A Handyman & Now They're Engaged
A New York woman needed a dresser assembled so she hired a handyman off TaskRabbit based on his cute profile pic, and after he left his number to come back and finish the job (a piece was missing), she texted him asking if he was single and suggested they grab a drink that night—now they're engaged. We asked Sydney about weird ways they met their partners and Hannah from Mascot revealed she moved to Uganda, went to an ultimate frisbee competition with her roommate, and met her now-husband there—they've got two kids and just moved back to Australia after seven years.

Thu, 19 Feb 2026 - 6650 - How Bad Was Your Birthday? Burglar Edition
We asked Sydney about their worst birthdays after Prince Andrew got arrested on his 66th (happy birthday, mate), and the stories were brutal. Sharon had her 40th Vegas trip with a Bellagio cabana all booked when COVID hit and she spent it alone in lockdown, Tim had 220 people flying in for his burger joint party that got cancelled, and former Rabbitoh Luke Burgess got fully burgled on his 16th birthday—the thieves even used his family's car as the getaway vehicle after cleaning them out completely.

Thu, 19 Feb 2026 - 6649 - Keli Holiday And His Loud Pants!
Keli Holiday joined us fresh off his album launch at Rambling Rascal wearing the loudest blue pants we've ever seen and a singlet he bought at the show (because that's the rule), revealing his upcoming Metro Theatre tour on March 6 will have theatre vibes with smoky piano silhouettes instead of just a sweaty rock show. He opened up about fans telling him stories of what the album means to them—including a woman whose husband cried for the first time in 10 years while listening to "Ecstasy"—then absolutely lost Quick Draw for the third time in a row!

Thu, 19 Feb 2026 - 6648 - Full Show | Gimme Some Skin!
Sydney at 6 covered Newcastle renaming itself "Foocastle" with a Hollywood-style sign for the Foo Fighters tour, Sizzler returning to Sydney Airport after six years, and Danika Mason's viral cross from the Winter Olympics where she couldn't move her lips from the cold wind. Callan Boys joined us for Where Are We Eating with the best dining spots, then we hit Glossys: Taylor Swift is the world's biggest artist for the fourth year running, Nicole Kidman's reportedly being pursued by MGM chairman Paul Salem, Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun went on a karaoke date belting ABBA, and Pitbull's attempting a world record for largest bald cap gathering in Hyde Park. Doctors debunked the 8-hour sleep rule saying 6-8 hours is fine but less than 5 or more than 9 is terrible for your health, 67% of Gen Z would choose sleep over sex, and Keli Holiday joined us wearing his loudest pants to chat about fans crying to his album and his iconic dance move before losing Quick Draw again.

Wed, 18 Feb 2026 - 6647 - "Tony Abbott Saved My Life"
We asked Sydney to call in with their "I swear it's true" stories that sound completely made up, and they delivered: a woman whose entire family was saved from a house fire in Balmain by Tony Abbott who ripped the bars off their windows when she was three years old, and another caller who accidentally got into someone else's car and didn't realize until a random kid in the backseat said "hello." Plus, British Airways crew members got absolutely cooked mid-flight after a passenger gifted them cannabis-infused lollies with 300mg of THC—30 times a standard dose.

Wed, 18 Feb 2026 - 6646 - Where Are We Eating: Persian Kebabs & A Philly Cheesesteak At A Car Wash
Callan Boys from the Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide joined us for Where Are We Eating with three hot tips: Hampsey Taverna at the new fish markets for charcoal-grilled sardine skewers with stunning city views, Darbant in Auburn for next-level Persian kebabs where the son and daughter have modernised mum and dad's shop while dad still cooks over hot charcoal, and Hats Off Barbecue at Taren Point Car Wash for what might be Sydney's best Philly cheesesteak made with 12-hour beef brisket.

Wed, 18 Feb 2026 - 6645 - He Went To The Bathroom & Never Came Back
We asked Sydney about their worst ghosting stories after playing Ricki's song "Ghost" which she wrote about a best friend who just vanished one day. The stories did not disappoint: a woman's ex-husband texted her while she was at coffee saying "I don't wish to continue this marriage" and by the time she got home he'd taken half their savings and disappeared for years, someone's dry cleaner shut up shop with her engagement party dress inside and was never seen again, and a woman's barista gave her his number for a walking date then literally went to the bathroom and never returned.

We played our first game of 'Can I Have The First Line', discovered an Olympic plastic surgeon whose name is way too perfect for his job, and Bruce Isaacs joined us for What Cha Watching with the top 3 things to stream right now. Tue, 17 Feb 2026 - 6643 - Genius Move: Man Paints Boat On Fence After Neighbour Complains
A Sunshine Coast bloke got a council notice after neighbours complained his boat was an eyesore, so he moved it behind the fence and hired an artist to paint a hyper-realistic mural of the boat on the fence instead—such a brilliant payback that even a council staffer came by to congratulate him. We've all been there with neighbour wars, including Ricki whose Avalon neighbours banged on the door asking her and Sam Smith to stop belting Whitney Houston on the deck because "the whole neighbourhood is talking about the terrible singing."

Tue, 17 Feb 2026 - 6642 - Tom Hanks Was Loud & American At Sydney Cricket Shop
Maeve from the North Sydney Cricket Centre called in to tell us about Tom Hanks shopping for cricket gear with his son, and she revealed he wasn't keeping a low profile at all—he was loud, enthusiastic, and very American tourist about the whole thing. It took her a minute to recognise him despite being one of the biggest movie stars of all time, and Tim's surprised he didn't walk in with his head down and a cap on like most celebrities would.

British backpacker Hattie Sheppard, 21, walked into Gold Coast emergency with what she thought was a stomach flu and left 10 hours later with a healthy baby girl named Isla-Grace—having had no bump, no morning sickness, and being on the pill the entire time. Turns out the baby was growing toward her spine in what's known as a cryptic pregnancy, which affects about 1 in 2,500 pregnancies in Australia.

Tue, 17 Feb 2026 - 6640 - Full Show | Lainey Wilson Cove Tunnel!

New Zealand hosting the first ever State of Origin sparked debate, Joe Hildebrand joined us For The Record to explain the new Anzac Day public holiday, and we heard about cryptic pregnancies after a British backpacker walked into Gold Coast emergency with a stomach bug and left with a baby. Tom Hanks got spotted at a Sydney cricket store, and country superstar Lainey Wilson showed up after her massive Qudos show having only gone to sleep at 2am to chat Dolly Parton, Australian crowds, and play Sing with us.

Mon, 16 Feb 2026 - 6639 - Lainey Wilson Went To Sleep At 2AM & Still Showed Up For Us
Country superstar Lainey Wilson joined us fresh off her massive Qudos Bank Arena show, revealing she didn't go to sleep until 2am because the energy exchange with the crowd was so intense she couldn't come down. She opened up about working with her dear friend Dolly Parton (who has a custom one-sided headphone so she doesn't mess up her hair), why Australian crowds feel special because country isn't oversaturated here, and how her band leader wrote "Can't Sit Still" about her because he's watched her chase this dream for 10 years—and we made her prove she can actually sit still long enough to play Sing with us.

Mon, 16 Feb 2026 - 6638 - For The Record | Why Did NSW Take So Long To Give Us An Extra Public Holiday?
Joe Hildebrand joined us to break down Chris Minns' announcement that Monday April 27 is officially a public holiday after Anzac Day falls on a Saturday, making NSW finally catch up with states like WA and the ACT who've been doing this for years. Joe explained why NSW has historically had the fewest public holidays in the country, whether two-up is legal all weekend (it's not, Saturday only), and why some businesses are fuming about penalty rates despite everyone else celebrating a long weekend.

Mon, 16 Feb 2026 - 6637 - Sydney Had A Very X-Rated Night
A NSW tiny home business in Illawarra woke up to find someone had burned an explicit image into their front lawn using Roundup herbicide, and is now running a redesign contest offering a free night's accommodation for the best PG makeover. Meanwhile, moviegoers at Barangaroo's Mov'in'bed Outdoor Cinema got an unexpected bonus show when a couple in the apartments above forgot to close the curtains.

Wed, 11 Feb 2026 - 6627 - Full Show | Our First Tim-tervention
We kicked off Sydney at 6 covering Oscar Piastri's tearjerking message to a local Olympian, a $1.25 million driveway in Newtown, Chappell Roan refusing to do a shoey at Laneway, and Bad Bunny's Sydney tour announcement. Spun the Wheel for the most disastrous game of Spelling Bee ever—Sarah Harris was shockingly terrible at it. Bruce Isaacs from Sydney Uni joined us for our new segment 'What Cha Watching' with movie recommendations, then we hit Glossys where Romeo Beckham debuted a new tattoo and the Beckham drama continues. Tim revealed men are keeping detailed notes about their partners in the Notes app (red flag behaviour), Woolies dropped their $15 designer Anya Hindmarch tote bags that'll sell out instantly, and kids around Sydney called in to ask us anything. We wrapped with our very first Tim-tervention after realizing his shirt buttons were way too low—someone had to say something.

Tue, 10 Feb 2026 - 6625 - A Newtown Driveway Sold For $1.25 Million!
Welcome to our new segment, Sydney @ 6. Oscar Piastri sent Sydney Olympian Phoebe (from Castlecrag) the sweetest good luck message ahead of her first Winter Olympics competing in Slalom and Giant Slalom, and it brought her to tears. A developer just paid $1.25 million at auction for a 4-metre wide, 110sqm driveway on Church Street in Newtown—yes, just the driveway—because Sydney's property market is completely cooked. Chappell Roan annoyed Sydney fans at Laneway Festival by refusing to do a shoey, which is honestly un-Australian. And Bad Bunny announced his Sydney tour dates at ENGIE Stadium for February 28 and March 1 right after his Super Bowl halftime show performance.

Seattle Seahawks punter Michael Dickson showed Sydney some serious love at the Super Bowl, proving Aussies are everywhere. Daily Telegraph's Joe Hildebrand broke down the Sydney protest chaos and called Prime Minister Albo live on air (spoiler: voicemail). Ricki revealed she was almost an Aussie Diamond before choosing singing, then a hairdresser expressed concern about her receding hairline on air (the audacity). Israeli President Isaac Herzog was here for a state visit (not Netanyahu because Albo won't talk to him), snipers were on rooftops, and Joe explained Herzog just cuts ribbons while Netanyahu runs the show. Then Joe revealed he's devastated he didn't get invited to Albo's wedding despite thinking they're besties, so we made him call the Prime Minister live on air.

Mon, 09 Feb 2026 - 6621 - Full Show | Our Very First Breakfast Show (How'd We Do?)
We officially launched the Ricki-Lee & Tim breakfast show on Nova 96.9 and honestly, we're still processing it. Tim laid down his rules for the show including his unhinged take on the sock-shoe situation—if you go sock shoe, sock shoe instead of sock sock, shoe shoe, he thinks you're nuts (and also don't buy chicken, apparently). Prime Minister Albo called in to wish us luck, confirmed Pauline Hanson will never be PM, roasted David Littleproud for looking like a hostage, and revealed his Valentine's Day plans. We dove into Glossy's breaking down all the Taylor Swift easter eggs hidden in her Opalite video because of course we did. Spun the Wheel for our first breakfast game—the Whisper Challenge—and now we're asking you: how do you reckon we went?

Sun, 08 Feb 2026 - 6620 - Albo's Advice For Us, Reveals Valentine's Day Plans
We kicked off the breakfast show by chatting with Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, who reassured us "you'll be fine" about the new gig. Sarah Harris jumped straight in asking if we'll ever see Pauline Hanson as PM... Albo's response was a hard no, adding "I don't think Pauline Hanson is the answer to anything." He also dropped an absolute gem saying David Littleproud "looks like a hostage," which had us in stitches. Ricki brought up the government's new women's health package covering contraceptives and endometriosis clinics, and Albo revealed his Valentine's Day plans because apparently running the country doesn't mean you skip romance.
