Jackin' House, Nu-Disco, Funky and Vocal, some brand new tracks and some remixes of classic crackers. The bass-lines of the Jackin' and the melodies of the funky disco create a supersonic feel and I enjoyed playing it so much.

This show was a special one for me as we sadly lost our handsome Disco Dog suddenly to cancer this week. He was always my number one fan and gave approval for every track. I miss him desperately, but take solace in the fact he's always listening to me.

It's a Jungle out there......but it's a disco in here......

Hot and funky house direct to your ears with another fabulous show to dance, jig and spin to.

ENJOY!!!

This week's show bringing you disco, old school, funky and good vibes spanning many decades of awesomeness and fabulous music. Artists in this week's show including Jamback, Dave Leatherman, Crazibiza, Sammy Deuce, Vanessa Jackson, DJ Spen, Raffaele Ciavolino, Foo Funkers, Gadjo, Shaka Loves You, Arctic Funkies, Beverly Knight, Black Legend Project and so so much more.... Stay safe, Stay tuned, It's a jungle out there......

Can't believe it's November already, but what a summer we've had here in the Northern Hemisphere. Now it's time to mix it up with some gigs in Australia, South Africa and the sunshine of Thailand, then back to UK and Europe for cool Christmas celebrations....in the meantime, though, a bit of a housey funky vocal choooooonage for your ears, to keep your body moving and your heart beating.

It's the fall and the musical vibes are pushing towards winter and dark club nights but we're still excited about the vocal disco nature of the 'Funky' so plug in to this show, turn it up to 11 and enjoy yourselves.

Dialling things down a bit and playing out some Soulful vibes for you all to get stuck in. Not being on the air or online and holding off with the shouts and live call outs for a change, hopefully you still like the vibe.

With love from Lars. x

Mid OktoberFest in LarsTown!!! Get involved with this funky homage to the 90's, 00's, 10's and Funky House / Disco. Hope you enjoy.....see you next week

It's already the end of September and it's time for another dose of Lars. The travel is relentless and I'm off to Chicago tomorrow and Ibiza after that, but still the music is spinning and you're there to listen....Enjoy this one, just reagular Classic Funky House music (and a little bit of disco)

So here we are, back from a trip to the sunshine of Monte Carlo, Monaco and getting ready for the glory of California tomorrow but fancied bringing you all a bit of magical musical marvellousness and a melange for your ears. This show has new, old, house, disco and funky and I hope you like it...... until next week, stay safe, stay tuned, it's a jungle out there

For the last five years I've had the honour of gracing the airwaves on the 103.7fm frequency, but it's now time to move on. In part because of other commitments, timing and travel, but also to have a rest. It's been a really great journey and I've seen a lot. Whilst this isn't the end - definitely not for this podcast - it's certainly a new chapter and we'll be back next week live and direct from a studio near you, playing tracks you love

Funkiness and Disco rhythms bringing the vibes to your ears. A great set and full of brilliant tracks. Running at 125-126bpm so perfect to work out to, dance to, clean to, party to, sing to....you know the drill!

So during this show we began at 125bpm, worked our way up to 135bpm and came back down to 127.5bpm. A journey through Disco, beginning with a beautiful mix from the Sounds of Blackness, some fabulous Frankie Knuckles, into a Carl Cox remix of Maria. After that, moving into Katy B and upping the tempo straight into Inner City before coming back down to brand new music with Samm and Ell Murphy. Then going old skool with De Lacy, Shut up and Dance before finally finishing on a GTO classic..... What a journey and what an enjoyable set to play....Hope you like it as much as I did playing it

Classic House and couple of quick spins on old skool, given me a few ideas for future sets! hahah.... In the meantime, this will definitely be a great set to work out to....proper vibes and 126bpm

The end of the month and time for a party....every day there's an excuse for a party, but the last day of the month deserves more recognition, so here's a soundtrack that you can party to....x

First show on DCR. Enjoy the vibes.

Mid July and we're in the middle of the European Summer to bring you sunshine vibes for dancing to and smilng. This is now Digital City Radio, as we move on to the next era of 103.7fm.....enjoy the music!

Great set including House, Funky, Funky and House......hope you enjoy

Each and every Thursday from 18.30 - 20.00 UK time, join us for uplifting beats and sweet vibes

Lars Delfstein, delivering each and every time - just for you!

A couple of weeks ago I had the privilidge of playing the set before Fat Tony at the last LoveSensation event. High Energy and funky vocals keeping the vibes high and the smiles wide.

Whether it's p.c or not, it could be said that I'm now a fluffer for Fat Tony....ha!

Enjoy.

Fifteenth of May and it's 'Funky O'Clock'. Bringing you house, jackin', disco, funky and all round fabulous musical smiles....

So, my friends call it Handbag House but I call it Funky.....hahah....it's stuck in my head when I describe it to them, but it's so much more than just handbag house, it's funky, got vibes, danceworthy, disco, smile inducing, endorphin raising, rhythm filled, fabulous, groovy and grrrreat

Sun's out and we're on the soulful smiling vocal choooonz to spread the vibe. Moving on up into feet moving, finger tapping, butt wiggling beauties....

Wishing you all a happy May and hope you enjoy the show.

Brand new music, funky disco and classic house tracks tonight. The FunkySX time machine took over as well as the 90mins flew by.... New music, some of which hasn't even been released yet and some that are incedible new versions of absolute bangers.

Enjoy......

The voice is back after a couple of weeks sounding like I'd eaten gravel......and we're ready to party!!! Get on down and get funky!

Still harbouring the sore throat but it doesn't affect the faaaabulous chooooonz. Another FunkySX classic of a show here and lots of beautiful soulful, funky, disco and house jubblies....

Listen, and listen loud....it's all about the funky

This week I've had a silly sore throat, but the feet kept moving.... Despite the lack of vocal interjection, hopefully you'll like the show as mmuch as I did....

Fresh back from the Alps where we played on the deck at Fahreheit 7 in Val Thorens, with live sax and the best crowd ever. Inspired and ready to disco, the FunkySX show tonight was immense and, as ever, I loved it.

Get involved, get dancing and get funky......

Starting off with some funkyness then dropping you way back to the old school with some classic club house and funky breaks (with a sprinkling of acid too.....who'd have thought it)

Featuring Jamiroquai, Never Dull, Armand van Helden, Yam Who, Chemical Brothers, Dave Lee, Stevie Wonder, Carole King, Coconut Hut Club and sooooo much more....hope you enjoy it as much as I did playing it....x

While we're going into meteorological spring in Northern Hemisphere and autumn in the Southern Hemisphere the timme differences are aplenty......so the motto of this show is that it's 'Disco O'Clock' somewhere. So get your dancing shoes on and get moving...

Two Hundred recorded shows! Thank you to all of you for tuning in.

I enjoy playing these shows more and more every time and you make it all worthwhile.

Very sadly this week we lost some phenomenal artists in the disco music world. Gwen McCrae, Roy Ayers, Angie Stone and Andy Williams (aka Yam Who). Each of these brilliant artists feature in this week's show, as well as some other awesomely funky vibes, new and old.

Hope you enjoy it, and look forward to the next 200

It's the end of February and we're 1/6 of the way into 2025 already. Things are hotting up, and the clubs are smiling.... but before the sunshine takes hold, it's time to dance

Funky House and Dirtee Disco, sounds of the past and beats of the future, mash ups on the fly and feel good factors to boot......welcome to Lars' podcast.

Tune in each week on 103.7fm, DAB, www.FunkySX.com, www.InternetRadio.com and www.TuneIn.com as well as watching live on the FunkySX app and www.Mixcloud.com through the live stream.

This week's show was a delight to play and allowed us to play some up to date mixes, edits and remixes of absolute classic disco, motown and funky flavours. The ultimate result being a show that built and built to higher energy throughout. We danced so much that a certain person's smart watch ran out of battery while it tried to record the number of steps and 'dance' energy.....ha! Enjoy.

Something different from me this week, insofar that I didn't speak once.....bit of an experiment to see how you like it. Of course, I have to speak on the radio, but to what degree you are the ultimate judges..... The usual classic funky and disco, but hopefully you like the show.

Get amongst it, guys. This was a brilliant show to play and I think it'll definitely get your feet tapping, your fingers clicking and your heart beating.....Disco Delfstein is back again....

Listen to Lars each and every Thursday at 18.30 UK time, live on FM, DAB, InternetRadio, TuneIn, Mixcloud and replayed right here in your podcast

Happy Days!!! Another thursday and it's all about the funky....get locked on to 103.7fm, DAB, www.FunkySX.com, TuneIn.com, Mixcloud.com and all over your airwaves. This show is full of beautiful vocals, absolute classics, brilliant remakes and all around funkyness....enjoy.

Toning things down a bit with some Terry Hunter, Louis Benedetti, Peven Everett, Jamiroquai, Barbara Tucker then a couple of Lars rascals dropped in for good measure (incl Shades of Rhythm, Madonna and Guy Called Gerald).

Medicine for your ears in a world where good news is far and wide...

Another FunkySX banger.......Wow, the studio was on FIRE when I played this show and I absolutely loved it. Some proper classics alongside some Lars mash-ups and some beautifully crafted BANGING remixes.

Play it LOUD

After the Christmas and New Year break, it's time to get back to it....BUT, it's not time to sit down so Keep on Jumpin'

Happy New Year.

Lots of love from Lars xxxx

Join me in celebration this Boxing Day where we had a bit of a post Christmas Party including some funky house & disco, some classic Wham, Out of Office, Lisa Stansfield, Donna Summer, Adele and a bit of a round up of some absolute classic Prodigy.
