Lekhraj Kishan Chand Mirchandani who was more popular and better known with his pen name Aziz. as 'Lekhraj Aziz'. He was born in Hyderabad Sindh in 1897, he passed BA and worked as a lecturer of Sindhi. In India Lekhraj settled at Mumbai. Lekhraj was a poet and was also famous for his heart touching selection of words for poems but besides contributing to Sindhi literature by poetry Lekhraj has written some prose, also two of Sindhi dramas written by Lekhraj. Mohan Gehani is a noted Sindhi scholar, playwright, translator and poet. Born in Karachi (Sind) on January 20, 1938, he belongs to a select community of writers who have lived through the Partition of India. Gehani, whose first short story appeared in 1955 in Naeen Duniyan, a progressive literary magazine, is the author of numerous books. He has also played an active role in the successful campaign to introduce Sindhi in the eighth schedule of the Indian Constitution. Gehani is the recipient of several awards, including the Sahitya Akademi award in 2011 and the Saeen G M Sayed Memorial Award by World Sindhi Council at London. He has also received awards for his contribution to Sindhi literature from the Council for Promotion of Sindhi Language and Akhil Bharat Sindhi Boli ain Sahit Sabha. इस एपिसोड में हमने मुलाकात की हिंद- सिंध के बर्ख सिंधी- हिंदी-गुजराती -उर्दू के साहित्यकार डॉ. जेठो लालवाणी जी से। सिंधी भाषा पर चर्चा की शुरुआत में उन्होंने बताया कि आज शहरों में जो भाषा बोली जाती है, उस पर दूसरी बोलियों का असर है। शहरों में सिंधी भाषा की मधुरता कहीं धुंधली हो गई है। आज भी गुजरात के कच्छ में ऐसी जगह है, जहां सिंधी भाषा की मिठास बरकरार है। साथ ही चर्चा की गई कि सिंधी भाषा को रोजगार से कैसे जोड़ा जा सकता है। उन्होंने अपने विचार साझा करते हुए बताया कि जब सिंधी लोग, सिंध से हिंदुस्तान आए तब सिंधी विद्यालयों में सिंधी पढ़ाई जाती थी, जिसके लिए सिंधी विद्वानों द्वारा किताबें बनाई जाती थी और सिंधी प्रेस में किताबें छपती थी, इसी तरह सिंधी भाषा रोजगार से जुड़ी हुई थी। उसके बाद 10 अप्रैल 1967 को सिंधी भाषा को जब संविधान में शामिल किया गया, तो सिंधी में और भी रोजगार जुड़े जैसे कि रेडियो, न्यूज़, दूरदर्शन आदि। आज भी सिंधी भाषा में स्कूल लेवल से लेकर कॉलेज तक सिंधी विषय में पढ़ाई के विकल्प हैं परंतु आज की नौजवान पीढ़ी अपनी भाषा को पढ़ना नहीं चाहती, इसलिए धीरे धीरे हर जगह से सिंधी स्कूल आदि को बंद किया जा रहा है। बच्चों को घर में माहौल भी नहीं दिया जाता। भाषा एक संचार का माध्यम है, यदि सिंधी भाषा में संचार नहीं किया जाएगा तो भाषा विलुप्त होने की ऐसी परिस्थिति भी आ सकती है। अपने विचार और सुझाव हमें लिखकर बताए। सुनते रहे इसी तरह मनोरंजक और ज्ञानवर्धक शो में हमारे साथ "सिंधी संस्कृती" ऑडियो पिटारा से।।।। Learn more about your ad choices.
