Wives Who War Podcast equips wives to WAR—PRAY—for their husbands, not against them. Rooted in Ephesians 6:12, we remind wives that the real battle is spiritual—not flesh and blood. This podcast activates the authority of the Wife Who Wars: a woman who understands her identity, stands watch in prayer, and fights from alignment—not emotion. More than a podcast, this is a call to intercession, spiritual maturity, and Kingdom authority—where wives are refined, sharpened, and fortified to build marriages that honor God. This is where prayer becomes strategy. Strategy begins in prayer.
- 359 - MATURITY: The Evidence Is in the Becoming
Subtitle:Closing October. Preparing for Completion.
We spent October talking about MATURITY. But as we gathered for our final Heart Share of the month, one question remained:
What's the evidence?
Not evidence that we've arrived or gotten everything right, but evidence that God's Word is taking root and changing how we live.
In this closing conversation at A Seat at the Queen's Table, we reflect on the growth that doesn't always announce itself: the response that changes, the apology offered without an excuse, the argument we no longer need to win, and the willingness to recognize where God is still developing us.
And as the Queens share their own reflections, we're reminded that becoming isn't just something we discuss at the Table. It's something we carry into our everyday lives.
Grounded in Philippians 1:6, James 1:22–25, and James 1:19, we close October with gratitude for the work God has already done and turn toward November's theme: COMPLETION.
Because maturity teaches us how to grow, and completion teaches us how to finish.
The evidence isn't that we've arrived. It's that we're no longer standing where we once stood.
👑 Pull up your chair. There's still room at the Table.

MATURITY: From Hearers to Doers
The Evidence Is in the Application
A Seat at the Queen's Table | October 26, 2026
Wives, what happens when God shows us ourselves—and we walk away unchanged?
This Monday at A Seat at the Queen's Table, our conversation about MATURITY brought us face-to-face with a truth we cannot afford to overlook:
Maturity is accountability. And consistency is necessary.
We can hear the Word, receive revelation, recognize where we need to grow, and still return to the very habits, responses, and patterns God has been calling us to surrender.
But James 1 reminds us that hearing is not the same as doing.
The Word is a mirror. And the question isn't simply whether we're willing to look into it. It's whether we're willing to respond to what God reveals.
Through Scripture, personal reflection, and the honest sharing of women around the Table, we're reminded that spiritual maturity isn't measured by how much we know, how long we've been walking with God, or how well we can speak about transformation.
It's revealed in what we do differently.
In our reactions. In our relationships. In our obedience. In the choices we make when no one from the Table is watching.
Because the purpose of sitting at the Table isn't simply to leave encouraged.
It's to leave changed.
Pull up your chair, Wife. The mirror has revealed what needs our attention. Now it's time to walk out what we've received.

Mon, 26 Oct 2026 - 2h 00min - 357 - MATURITY: The Mirror Doesn't Lie
Growing Older Isn't the Same as Growing in God
How mature are you, really?
Not how old are you. Not how long have you been saved. Not how many years you've attended church, served in ministry, or known the Scriptures.
But how much have you actually grown in God?
In this episode of, A Seat at the Queen's Table, Lady Gwendolyn Holloway brought a Heart Share that challenged every woman to stop measuring spiritual maturity by age, experience, or outward appearances—and start examining the condition of her own heart.
And she didn't begin by examining anybody else.
She started with herself.
“God, am I really all that I think I am?”
Whew! Because that's where maturity begins. With the willingness to examine ourselves honestly before God.
Drawing from Ephesians 4:14–15, Lady Gwendolyn reminded us that spiritual maturity is a lifelong process of becoming more like Christ. It's not about how many birthdays we've celebrated. It's about how deeply we rely on God, how faithfully we follow His Word, and how we respond when life puts our faith to the test.
She walked us through ten characteristics of spiritual maturity, challenging us to examine our growth in leadership, integrity, humility, perseverance, wisdom, temperance, unconditional love, obedience, faith, and our willingness to live out what God requires.
And here's where it got personal.
Can we receive correction without becoming defensive?
Can we hold our tongues when everything in us wants to respond?
Can we love unconditionally when loving isn't easy?
Can we trust God when His answer isn't immediate?
Can we endure the testing of our faith without abandoning what we believe?
Because spiritual maturity isn't simply knowing what the Word says.
It's allowing the Word to change how we live.
As the conversation unfolded, the women brought even more depth to the Table. We talked about the importance of extending grace to ourselves, recognizing that our physical and emotional experiences can affect how we respond, and understanding that wisdom sometimes means knowing when to seek help.
We also wrestled with obedience, discernment, patience, and the importance of hearing God's instructions without allowing distractions to pull us away from our assignment.
And then the conversation returned to something we couldn't ignore.
The mirror.
What happens when we stop looking at everybody else's shortcomings and allow God to show us our own?
Are we growing in the areas where we struggled last year?
Are we responding differently?
Are we becoming more loving, more patient, more obedient, and more willing to be corrected?
Or have we simply gotten older while remaining spiritually unchanged?
Lady Gwendolyn reminded us that this examination must begin at home—in our own hearts.
And the Table agreed: spiritual inventory cannot be something we do once and put away.
Maturity requires a continual willingness to be examined, corrected, and transformed by God.
So, Wife, here's your invitation.
Get the mirror.
Not to condemn yourself. Not to compare yourself with another woman. But to ask God to reveal the places where there's still room to grow.
“Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.” — Psalm 51:10 (KJV)
Because growing older is inevitable.
But growing in God requires intention, surrender, and a heart willing to change.
And we're still growing.
Pull up your chair. There's room for you at the Table.

From Glory to Glory, One Surrender at a Time
Heart Share with Tre' Burks | A Seat at the Queen's Table | Wives Who War
What are you beholding?
Your circumstances? Your shortcomings? Your past? The things you cannot control?
Or are you beholding Christ?
This Monday at the Queen's Table, Tre' Burks brought a powerful revelation from 2 Corinthians 3:18 that challenged us to examine not only who we're becoming, but where we've fixed our gaze.
“Beholding is becoming.”
Because what we continually focus on has a way of shaping what we reflect.
Tre' reminded us that spiritual maturity isn't about performing Christianity, perfecting our outward appearance, or trying harder to make ourselves acceptable to God.
It's about coming before Him unveiled.
No masks. No hiding. No pretending we've figured everything out.
Just our authentic selves, surrendered before the One who has the power to transform us.
And here's the revelation:
Transformation is not behavior modification. It is the inward work of the Holy Spirit.
Drawing from Paul's words about moving from glory to glory, Tre' explained that spiritual transformation is an ongoing process. Like a butterfly undergoing metamorphosis, God is doing work within us that cannot be rushed or manufactured through human effort.
Our responsibility is to keep showing up, keep surrendering, and keep beholding Christ.
But what happens when we've surrendered something to God, only to reach back for the steering wheel?
Tre' spoke candidly about the struggle to relinquish control and the daily decision to trust God with outcomes we cannot predict.
Surrender isn't simply something we did yesterday. It's a posture we must continue choosing today.
And then the Table began to build!
Tee challenged us to put on “God-colored glasses”—to shift our perspective and begin seeing ourselves and our circumstances through God's eyes rather than our own insecurities and limitations.
We were reminded that maturity isn't measured by how well we hold everything together, but by our willingness to surrender it all to God.
And a powerful truth emerged:
We are not becoming more like Christ by staring at everything that's wrong with us. We are transformed as we behold the One who is right, holy, faithful, and able.
The conversation became even more personal as Tre' encouraged us to acknowledge the struggles we're carrying today—the ones we've named and the ones we may not yet have recognized.
Because sometimes the first step toward surrender is being willing to admit:
“Lord, I need Your help with this.”
And through it all, the women surrounded one another with prayer, encouragement, and the reminder that God's hand is not too short to save, nor His ear too heavy to hear.
As we continue our October journey through MATURITY, we're discovering that becoming is not a destination we reach in this lifetime.
It is a daily pursuit of Christ, an ongoing surrender, and a transformation that continues as we behold Him.
“I will not have become until I have beholded Him. Face to face.”
So, Wife, here's your invitation:
Take off the mask.
Release the steering wheel.
Shift your gaze.
And bring your unveiled self before the Lord.
Because what you behold matters. Who you're becoming matters. And the One doing the transforming matters most.
We're going from faith to faith, from glory to glory.
And we're not finished becoming.
Pull up your chair. There's still room at the Table.

When the Weight Is Heavy, but His Glory Is Greater
A Heart Share with the Women of the Queen's Table | Wives Who War
What happens when the weight of life becomes so heavy that even the strongest among us struggle to keep going?
Sometimes, before the teaching begins, God has already prepared the Table for ministry.
This Friday, the women of the Queen's Table came together carrying real burdens—exhaustion, uncertainty, difficult decisions, personal battles, and the weight of responsibilities that don't stop simply because we're tired.
And what unfolded was more than a conversation.
There was transparency. There were tears. There was worship, prayer, encouragement, and a powerful reminder that we do not have to walk through life's valleys alone.
“We are at a TIPPING point!”
“The water is troubled. If you have need, ASK.”
As the women began encouraging one another, we were reminded that spiritual maturity isn't about pretending everything is fine. It's about knowing where to turn when everything isn't.
We talked about changing our perspective, remembering God's promises, renewing our minds, and refusing to surrender to the weight of our circumstances.
Identify the lies. Renew your mind with Scripture. Surrender the outcome.
And then came the reminder:
“Going through is making us!”
As the conversation continued, Tee Bowen introduced a powerful perspective on POISE—the confident composure and steadiness that allow us to remain grounded even when life is pressing us from every direction.
Poise is more than how we appear on the outside. It's how we carry ourselves when the pressure is real.
And the revelation grew deeper.
“There is a way to stand under it all.”
“There's a weight but there is also a balance, the Holy Spirit. Our weight of Glory.”
The weight of what we're carrying may be real, but it is not greater than the God who carries us.
Through Scripture, personal testimonies, and the collective encouragement of the Table, we were reminded to keep our heads lifted, remain in the race, and trust the Lord who has promised never to leave or forsake us.
Don't pitch your tent in the valley.
Don't throw in the towel.
Stay in the ship.
And whatever you do, don't stop trusting God.
Because maturity doesn't mean we never become weary, overwhelmed, or afraid. It means we're learning to respond differently when those moments come.
We're learning to ask for help. To receive encouragement. To govern our spirits. To stand on God's Word. And to allow the Holy Spirit to steady us when life threatens to knock us off balance.
This is what spiritual maturity looks like beyond the teaching.
This is maturity being lived out right before our eyes.
So, Wife, whatever you're carrying today, remember:
The weight is real. The pressure is real. But His glory is greater.
Lift your head.
Find your footing.
And ask the Lord to help you poise yourself under pressure.
Pull up your chair. There's still room at the Table.

Heart Share with Veleta Whitfield | A Seat at the Queen's Table | Wives Who War
We've been fed. We've been taught. We've been equipped.
Now what are we going to do with what we've received?
At the Queen's Table, Veleta Whitfield brought a timely challenge: “We need to go from receiving, now we need to respond.”
Drawing from Hebrews 5:11–14, Veleta reminded us that spiritual maturity requires moving beyond the milk of basic instruction into the solid food of practiced faith. It's not enough to know the Word. We must live it.
And after months of alignment, stewardship, discernment, authority, obedience, covenant, rest, faithfulness, and transition, there's an expectation that something in us has changed.
“God develops us before He deploys us.”
Veleta described this year as spiritual boot camp—a season of preparation that equips us to serve God in our homes, marriages, workplaces, and communities.
But this wasn't just a lesson about preparation. It was a testimony of perseverance.
Veleta shared how navigating a cancer recurrence has deepened her dependence on God, challenged her faith, and revealed the maturity developed through previous seasons. Her testimony reminded us that spiritual growth doesn't eliminate difficult circumstances. It changes how we walk through them.
And then the Table began to speak!
We talked about spiritual muscle memory, pruning, emotional maturity, keeping our oil lamps full, and recognizing that every stage of growth carries purpose.
“Clay has no say!”
“God wastes nothing!”
“Every stage has a purpose for your life.”
Then the conversation moved into a powerful declaration that carried us through the remainder of our time together:
HIS GRACE IS SUFFICIENT.
Sufficient for the diagnosis. Sufficient for the uncertainty. Sufficient for the marriage, the family, the grief, the disappointment, and the responsibilities we carry.
Because maturity doesn't mean we possess the strength for everything ahead of us.
It means we've learned to depend on the God whose strength is made perfect in our weakness.
We have not arrived. But we are growing, and what God has developed in us is meant to be lived out.
So, here's the question:
Are you simply receiving the Word, or are you responding to what God has already taught you?
Pull up your chair. There's still room at the Table.

Heart Share with Takeia Watts | A Seat at the Queen's Table | Wives Who War
How long have you been married? How long have you been saved? How many years have you been walking with God?
Now here's the real question: How much have you grown?
At the Queen's Table, Takeia Watts challenged us to examine the difference between experience and maturity. Because years of marriage don't automatically produce wisdom, time in church doesn't guarantee spiritual growth, and knowing Scripture doesn't mean we're living it.
Maturity is growing beyond what used to move us.
Drawing from Ephesians 4:13–15, Takeia walked us through the lessons God has been teaching us all year—from stewardship and discernment to obedience, covenant, rest, faithfulness, and transition. Each lesson has been preparing us for this moment: moving from spiritual growth into spiritual stability.
We talked about emotional discipline, accountability, humility, wise communication, and the courage to confront patterns that have followed us from one season into another.
And the Table didn't hold back!
“Authority without humility can become control.”
“Being needed is not the same as being assigned.”
“A mature wife doesn't lose her voice. She learns how to use it wisely.”
And one reminder every wife needs to hear:
“Your husband is NOT your enemy!”
Sometimes the greatest battle isn't happening around us. It's happening within us—in our reactions, our pride, our unhealed places, and our unwillingness to release what God has been asking us to outgrow.
Because maturity doesn't mean we no longer feel deeply. It means our feelings no longer have to govern our responses.
“Maturity is not the disappearance of strength. It is strength that has learned discipline.”
This conversation invites every wife to examine the fruit of her life, embrace correction, and allow the Holy Spirit to develop the woman God is calling her to become.
We're not just counting years.
We're growing up in Christ.

Fri, 09 Oct 2026 - 1h 43min - 352 - The Put-Away
Friday, October 2, 2026, we were challenged to SHOW YOUR WORK. On Monday, Latisha “Tee” Bowen returned to the Queen’s Table with a reminder that spiritual maturity requires more than recognizing what needs to change.
Some things must be put away.
Anchored in 1 Corinthians 13:11, this Heart Share explores what it means to move beyond childish ways of speaking, understanding, and thinking—and intentionally release the attitudes, behaviors, and patterns that no longer reflect who we are becoming in Christ.
Because maturity isn't simply about growing older. It's about growing up in God.
And putting something away means we cannot keep reaching back for it whenever circumstances become uncomfortable.
We cannot surrender an attitude today and resurrect it tomorrow. We cannot ask God to renew our minds while continuing to defend the thinking He's calling us to leave behind.
The Put-Away requires a decision.
Through reflection on accountability, repentance, surrender, and our relationship with God, the Table considers what genuine spiritual growth looks like when it moves beyond what we know into how we live.
And as the women shared their prayer needs, the Table became a place of covering, reminding us that we are not growing through this journey alone.
The question for October is not only, “Can you show your work?”
It's also:
“What have you finally decided to put away?”

Mon, 05 Oct 2026 - 51min - 351 - MATURITY: Show Your Work
We came back to the Table to finish our conversation about TRANSITION—but what God showed us was why MATURITY had to come next.
September taught us how to move with God through transition: to relinquish control, walk through grief, allow Him to reveal what is underneath, endure reconstruction, and surrender to transformation. But October brings another question:
What did the transition produce in you?
Because spiritual maturity isn't simply about knowing more. There should be evidence. There should be fruit.
At the Table, we talked about the difference between surface cleaning and getting the core out. Some things cannot simply be covered, managed, or temporarily cleaned up. If the root remains, it can return. And sometimes maturity requires allowing God to perform the deeper work—the kind that reaches what we have learned to live with, work around, or hide.
We also discovered that “there's a settlement in the relinquish.” When we truly release our claim to control and surrender it to God, something begins to settle within us.
And then came the challenge:
SHOW YOUR WORK.
Just like math class, knowing the answer isn't enough. Where is the scratch paper? Where is the process? Where is the application?
Can I forgive when forgiveness is required?
Can I obey when obedience costs me something?
Can I wait well while I'm going through?
Can I respond differently when the same trigger shows up again?Because maturity isn't perfection. Sometimes the clearest evidence of maturity is simply this:
The situation may be the same—but my response is different.
The Table said it plainly: “Put that practice in.” And later, “Let us be doers of the word and not just hearers only!”
So, October begins with a challenge to move beyond information into application.
September was the transition.
October is asking us to show the fruit.

A Seat at the Queen's Table | Wives Who WarFri, 02 Oct 2026 - 1h 50min - 350 - TRANSITION: Show Your Work
We came to the Table intending to wrap up September.
We didn’t. 😂
Instead, as Denise and Latisha “Tee” Bowen began walking back through a month of Transition, the Table became a place of reflection, testimony, and application.
We revisited what God has been teaching us: movement does not always mean progression. Sometimes obedience means moving. Sometimes it means being still. Transition is a place. Transformation must happen within it. And even the painful parts cannot simply be skipped—we have to walk through them while remaining faithful.
As the conversation moved through grief, surrender, control, and releasing what we may never receive closure for, one word emerged:
Relinquish.
To voluntarily—or reluctantly—give up control, possession, or our claim to something and place it back into the hands of God. The Table captured that moment plainly: “Relinquish. Release it God.”
Then, just as we prepared to park the conversation until Friday, Tre’ gave us the language that brought the entire morning together:
SHOW YOUR WORK.
Like math class, having the answer isn't enough. You have to show how you got there.
We can hear the Word.
Take the notes.
Know the Scriptures.
Receive the revelation. But at some point, there has to be application.
Transition requires us to work through what God has been teaching us—not skip the process just because we already know the answer. As the Table said, “we gotta marinate on the previous lessons” and then comes “Application!”
And perhaps that is why we couldn't rush the wrap-up.
Because before we move from TRANSITION into MATURITY, God is asking us:
Did you do the work?
There are no shortcuts to maturity.
So we're parking right here.
We'll come back to the Table and finish the journey—but in the meantime:
Show. Your. Work.

Table Truth: God doesn't waste pain. You're going to have to go through it while staying faithful.Mon, 28 Sep 2026 - 1h 31min - 349 - TRANSITION: The Revealing Is for Shaping
Transition has a way of revealing what was already there.
In this Heart Share, Latisha “Tee” Bowen reminds us that as God moves us from one season to another, the process may expose what needs to be removed, corrected, renewed, or leveled up. But His revealing is not condemnation—it comes through His love, grace, mercy, and covering.
The revealing is for shaping.
Through the picture of an instrument being brought into the correct pitch, the Table explores what it means to become attuned to God's voice—to have our hearing fine-tuned until His prompting is enough.
And sometimes God has to move what has been sitting in the same place for a long time so we can finally see what's been hidden underneath.
Transition will do its own revealing.
The question is: What will our response be when God allows us to see?
This is an invitation to pray, “Search me, O God,” and allow Him to reveal, correct, shape, and attune us for where He's taking us.

September Theme: TRANSITION — Move With God
Heart Share: Latisha “Tee” BowenMon, 21 Sep 2026 - 1h 32min - 348 - TRANSITION: I Choose to Be Transformed
Transition may change where you are.
But transformation changes who you are.
In this Heart Share, Gwendolyn Holloway takes us deeper into the process of transformation and challenges us to recognize that asking God to change us also requires something from us:
Our surrender.
Our willingness.
Our choice.Transformation requires us to get out of the way, relinquish our will, and allow God to do the work that cannot happen if we continue resisting Him.
Because there is a beginning.
There is an ending.
But there is also the middle.
And the middle is where the process happens.
Through Romans 12:2, the prodigal son, the stages of metamorphosis, and the refining process, Gwendolyn reminds us that we cannot finish the race without completing the course. Transformation exposes what must die, what must be renewed, and what must be surrendered so that we can become who God intended us to be.
The prodigal son eventually “came to himself,” and the Table saw a powerful progression:
Repentance.
Transformation.
Restoration. The old gives way to the new.
Free will yields to God's will.
And what happens in the middle begins to produce evidence on the outside.
But transformation is not always comfortable.
There may be shedding.
There may be sacrifice.
There may be fiery trials and refining.
There may be stages where you don't yet look like what you're becoming.
Still, God has an expected end.
So, the question becomes:
Will I resist the process—or will I surrender to it?
This Table's declaration is simple:
I choose to surrender.
I choose to go through.
I choose to become.
I choose to be transformed.Because sometimes the greatest transition is the one that moves us from our will to God's will.

Transition can be uncomfortable.
The terrain can change.
What once felt familiar can suddenly feel uncertain.
And sometimes, what God is doing doesn’t look anything like what we expected. But in this Heart Share, Veleta Whitfield reminds us of something we cannot afford to forget:
God can be trusted in the transition.
Through 2 Corinthians 4:16–18, Psalm 121:5–8, and Isaiah 43:18–19, Veleta calls us to take our eyes off what is temporary and visible and anchor ourselves in the promises of a God who already knows the end from the beginning.
And with a simple pair of transitional lenses, she gave the Table a picture we could carry with us: as the environment changes, the lenses adjust to provide the protection needed for that environment.
In the same way, we are never navigating transition alone.
God is present.
God is protecting.
God is providing.
And God knows exactly what this season requires. Then the Table opened—and the revelation kept moving.
What will be the fragrance coming from us while we transition?
Can we trust God when transition feels lonely?
Can we recognize that the shedding, pressing, agitation, and reconstruction may actually be evidence that God is producing something new?
The women began to see transition as a place of renewal, preparation, unlocking, shedding, strengthening, and producing oil—even describing it as being “Open during RE-construction.”
Because we may go into transition one way...
but when we yield to what God is doing, we will not come out the same.
So hold on.
Declare His promises.
Trust His protection.
Praise Him while you’re going through.
And remember:
There is another side to the transition.
We are not merely trying to survive it.
We are learning how to triumph through it. 👑

Grief changes the landscape.
Sometimes it comes through death.
Sometimes through disappointment.
Sometimes through a relationship that has changed.
And sometimes we find ourselves grieving someone who is still here.In this Heart Share, Tre’ Burks takes us into Joshua 1:1–9, where Joshua is called to move forward after the death of Moses.
The loss was real.
The transition was real.
And so was God’s instruction:
Be strong.Be courageous.Do not be afraid.Do not be discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
Tre’ reminds us that grief does not have to be denied in order for us to keep moving.
We can acknowledge what hurts.
We can grieve what was lost.
We can bring the weight of it to God.
And then, with His strength, take the next step.
Because sometimes grief feels like a whole lot of love with no place to go.
But even there, God is present.
He strengthens the weary.
He goes before us into the unfamiliar.
He carries us through heartbreak and heartache.
And He gives us courage to walk through what we never expected to face. The Table gave us a simple posture for this kind of transition:
Acknowledge it.Grieve it.Give it to God.And walk in the transition.
You do not have to know the whole way forward.
You only have to be willing to take the next step with God.

Heart Share By: Takeia WattsTransition can move you into a new season.
But transformation changes you for the new season.
In this Heart Share, Takeia Watts takes us deeper into September’s theme of Transition by revealing a critical distinction:
You can transition without being transformed.
You can enter a new season with old mindsets.
A new opportunity with old insecurities.
A new season of marriage with old reactions.
A new place while still carrying the same familiar patterns.
Through the life of Peter, Romans 12:2, the chrysalis, and the pressing of the olive, Takeia reminds us that God is not only interested in changing where we are.
He wants to change who we are.
And sometimes failure reveals the very place where transformation is still needed.
Sometimes pressure exposes what was already there.
Sometimes familiarity looks attractive simply because transition is uncomfortable.
But familiar does not always mean fruitful.
So the prayer becomes:
“Lord, don’t just change my season. Change me in the season.”
This Table also challenges us to surrender what cannot travel with us, resist being governed by our feelings, and allow God to purify, mature, and prepare us for what is next.
Because there is a version of us that cannot go where God is taking us.

Fri, 11 Sep 2026 - 1h 46min - 344 - TRANSITION: DON’T MISS HERE - Be Faithful In The Place Between
Transition is not simply the space between where you were and where you are going.
Transition is a place.
On this Labor Day edition of A Seat at the Queen’s Table, Latisha “Tee” Bowen challenges us not to become so focused on there that we miss what God is doing here.
We often want to jump from A to B.
But Tee reminds us that there is a place after A and before B—a place of doors, opportunities, fine-tuning, consecration, and what she calls “prosperous growth.”
And God’s instruction in that place is simple:
Be faithful here.
Through Colossians 3:2, Proverbs 16:9, and Isaiah 30:21, we are reminded to set our affection on things above, allow the Lord to direct our steps, and listen closely for His turn-by-turn instruction:
“This is the way, walk ye in it.”
Then the Table opened—and the revelation kept building.
We talked about marination.
The cocoon.
Pressure that builds spiritual muscle.
Crushing that produces oil.
Clearing the table.
Decluttering the heart.
Releasing what cannot travel into the next season.
And refusing to rush out of a place before God has completed what He intended to do there.
Because some things must be worked out here before we can carry what God has prepared there.
So don’t despise the in-between.
Don’t hurry the process.
Don’t keep looking over your shoulder.
And whatever you do—
DON’T MISS HERE.
Be faithful in the place between.

Mon, 07 Sep 2026 - 2h 50min - 343 - TRANSITION: Don’t Drift in the Transition
Transition is not simply about movement.
Because you can be moving...
and still be going in circles.
In the first full Heart Share of September, Denise unpacks what it means to walk through Transition—the space between what was and what is becoming.
Some changes happen in a moment.
But transition takes us through the process of releasing what is complete, navigating unfamiliar territory, discerning God’s direction, and learning when to stay and when to move.
Through Numbers 9, we see a people whose movement was governed by the presence of God:
When the cloud stayed, they stayed.
When the cloud moved, they moved.
But once the Table opened, the revelation went deeper.
A conversation about ships, alignment, connection, and being yoked to God gave us a warning for this season:
“Lord, I don’t want to drift in the transition.”
Because movement is not the same as progression.
Busyness is not the same as obedience.
And being almost aligned can eventually take us far from where God intended us to be.
So the question is not simply:
Am I moving?
The question is:
Am I moving with God?
This month, we are learning to stay close enough to hear Him, connected enough to recognize His movement, and surrendered enough to remain when He says stay—and move when He says go.
Because even in unfamiliar territory...
God is familiar.

September Theme: TransitionFri, 04 Sep 2026 - 1h 01min - 342 - FAITHFULNESS: When He Moves, We Move
August closes with a gathering of everything God has been building at the Queen’s Table.
Not a new lesson.
A storehouse.
Scripture by scripture.
Testimony by testimony.
Woman by woman.
Revelation by revelation. In this final Heart Share of the month, Denise revisits the journey through Faithfulness and the progression becomes clear: God was not simply teaching us how to remain. He was preparing us for Transition.
We learned to recall His track record.
To remain when waiting gets long.
To abide when pressure comes.
To worship when life gets hard.
To stay positioned.
And now, to move when the Holy Spirit says move.Because transition stretches us. It takes us into unfamiliar territory. But even there—
GOD IS STILL GOD.
And as Gwendolyn declared at the Table:
“When He moves, we move… just like that.”
No manipulation.
No running ahead.
No staying where God has said leave.Just obedience.
Faithfulness taught us how to remain.
Transition will teach us how to move when God says move. The landscape may change.
But our God does not.
Scripture Anchor: Hebrews 13:8
August Theme: FaithfulnessMon, 31 Aug 2026 - 51min - 341 - FAITHFULNESS: Between the Promise and the Fulfillment
What happens between what God promised and what God fulfills?
At Friday’s Queen’s Table, a Heart Share centered on Simeon reminded us that faithfulness is required not only when the promise comes—but in the waiting.
Promise. Waiting. Position. Fulfillment.
Simeon waited, but he remained sensitive to the Spirit. He didn’t manipulate the promise or run ahead of God. And when the Spirit said move, he moved.
In this episode, Denise revisits what happened at a Table whose recording was never captured—including the worship that broke out before the Heart Share even began and the testimonies that became receipts of God’s faithfulness.
Because perhaps the question isn’t only, “Do I trust God with the promise?”
Perhaps it is:
“Can God trust me between the promise and the fulfillment?”
And maybe August wasn’t simply instruction.
Maybe August was preparation.
The recording didn’t capture the Table. But the Table captured us.
Scripture Anchor: Luke 2:25–35
August Theme: FaithfulnessFri, 28 Aug 2026 - 16min - 340 - FAITHFULNESS: My Response Is Hallelujah
What is the appropriate response to a God who has never stopped being faithful?
Hallelujah.
In this worship-filled Heart Share from A Seat at the Queen’s Table, Latisha “Tee” Bowen calls us back to Zion—to recognize where we have come and the King before whom we are seated.
He is Elohim. El Shaddai. El Roi. Adonai. Yahweh Sabaoth—the Lord of Hosts who fights for us.
Through Revelation 4 and a powerful time of worship, we are reminded that when our perspective rises to the throne, what is happening around us no longer gets to define what we believe about God.
He reigns.
He sees.
He fights.
He remains faithful. And when we truly behold Him, our response changes. We bow. We worship. We patiently endure. We abide. And from that place, we do everything else.
Because faithfulness isn't only demonstrated by what we endure.
Sometimes faithfulness sounds like:
“Holy, Holy, Holy.”
Sometimes it sounds like:
“Thank You for fighting for me.”
And sometimes our entire response is simply:
Hallelujah.

Mon, 24 Aug 2026 - 51min - 339 - FAITHFULNESS: When It Gets Hard
What does faithfulness look like when life gets hard?
In this Heart Share from A Seat at the Queen’s Table, Lady Veleta Whitfield speaks from the middle of her own storm about remaining faithful when the diagnosis changes, life becomes overwhelming, and what you see challenges what you believe.
The answer is not pretending it doesn't hurt. It is remembering who God is.
He is the same God. His character hasn't changed. His promises haven't changed. And His faithfulness hasn't changed.
As the Table unfolds, one truth becomes clear: don't get stuck in what you're going through. Keep moving through it. Recall the receipts. Trust His track record. Silence the voices that contradict His Word. And when you're tired, remember—you have a Corner who will strengthen you for another round.
You may not understand what God is doing, but you can still declare:
This I know: He is faithful.

When life gets hard, what do you recall about God that keeps you faithful?Fri, 21 Aug 2026 - 1h 10min - 338 - FAITHFULNESS: You Can’t Produce This
Faithfulness isn’t something we manufacture. It is fruit the Holy Spirit produces in us.
In this Heart Share from A Seat at the Queen’s Table, Tre Burks takes us through the Fruit of the Spirit and challenges us to examine our devotion, discipline, spiritual diet, and the everyday habits that reveal how we are truly walking with God.
But the conversation moves beyond teaching when faithfulness meets real life.
What happens when the pressure comes? When you're still waiting? When the outcome may not look the way you hoped?
We abide.
Because patient endurance, long-suffering, self-control, peace—and faithfulness itself—cannot be produced in our own strength. There is no other way. We need the Holy Spirit.
God is faithful in the big things and consistent in the tiny things. And as we remain in Him, He produces in us what we could never manufacture ourselves.
Key Scriptures: Galatians 5:22–23 • Exodus 14:14
Take it to the Table:
What is your spiritual diet—and how often are you eating?Mon, 17 Aug 2026 - 1h 05min - 337 - FAITHFULNESS: It’s in My DNA
What if faithfulness isn't simply something God asks us to do—but part of the character He is developing within us?
In this Heart Share from A Seat at the Queen’s Table, Lady Gwendolyn Holloway reminds us that our Father is faithful, and as His daughters, we are called to reflect His character.
Through Scripture and the lives of Job, Ruth, and Naomi, we see faithfulness as steadfastness, perseverance, loyalty, trustworthiness, and an unwavering commitment to remain—even when life becomes difficult.
And the Table reminds us that these aren't only biblical stories. We are surrounded by living testimonies of women who have endured, waited, trusted, and discovered again and again:
God remains faithful.
Not remained.
Remains.
Faithfulness isn't perfection. It is character being formed. It is continuing when quitting would be easier. It is allowing our lives to become evidence of the God we say we trust.
Because if faithfulness is part of our Father's character—
It's in our DNA.
Key Scriptures: 1 Corinthians 15:58 • 1 Corinthians 4:2 • Galatians 5:22–23
I like “It’s in My DNA” slightly more than “Faithfulness Is in My DNA.” With the August series branding already saying FAITHFULNESS on the graphic, the title becomes cleaner and stronger:
FAITHFULNESS
IT'S IN MY DNA
Fri, 14 Aug 2026 - 1h 30min - 336 - Faithfulness Becomes Us
Faithfulness isn’t something we manufacture through striving. It is developed in us as we surrender, endure, remain, and allow God to do His work within us.
In this Heart Share, Latisha “Tee” Bowen reminds us that becoming faithful is a process—and sometimes the circumstances around us don’t change, but we do.
And when a 37-year prayer becomes a testimony right at the Table, we are reminded: waiting can be faithfulness too.
Don’t work at faithfulness. Let Him work in you.
Rest. Remain. Become
Mon, 10 Aug 2026 - 1h 19min - 335 - FAITHFULNESS: Don’t Take Your Heart Out
What does faithfulness look like when you’ve been praying, obeying, tending, showing up—and nothing seems to be changing?
In this continuation of the August Faithfulness series from A Seat at the Queen’s Table, Denise Smith moves beyond faithfulness as consistency and into the places where faithfulness is actually tested.
Sometimes faithfulness looks like returning after we’ve fallen. But sometimes the greater challenge is remaining when there is no evidence that what we are doing is producing anything.
Can you keep praying when the answer hasn’t come? Keep tending what God entrusted when no one notices? Keep believing when God seems quiet?
At the Table, a powerful distinction emerges:
Rest tells me not to interfere.
Faithfulness tells me not to abandon.Rest says, Take your hands off.
Faithfulness says, But don’t take your heart out.
God having the outcome does not mean we no longer have an assignment. Rest releases the outcome; faithfulness continues to tend what God actually placed in our hands.
This Heart Share also confronts a quieter danger: we can remain in an assignment while our hearts have stopped remaining with God. We can still serve, pray, work, tend our marriages, and even come to the Table—yet lose communion with the One who gave us the assignment.
Because faithfulness is not merely staying with what God gave you.
Faithfulness is staying with the God who gave it.
From the unseen work of tending seed to Jesus in Gethsemane, we discover that biblical faithfulness is not striving, controlling, or gritting our teeth until something changes.
Sometimes faithfulness sounds like one word:
Nevertheless.
The cup may still be heavy.
The outcome may still be uncertain.
The answer may still be delayed.
Nevertheless…
You are still God.
You are still good.
You are still faithful.
And I still belong to You.Key Scriptures:
1 Corinthians 4:2 • Galatians 6:9 • John 15:4 • Luke 22:42“Rest releases the outcome. Faithfulness tends the assignment.”
Fri, 07 Aug 2026 - 1h 20min - 334 - FAITHFULNESS: This I Recall
What do you do when present circumstances make it difficult to recognize the faithfulness of God?
You remember.
In this opening August Heart Share from A Seat at the Queen’s Table, Denise Smith reminds us that faithfulness begins with God. Before we ask whether we have been faithful, we must first behold the One whose character never changes.
Through Deuteronomy 7:9, Lamentations 3:21–23, and 2 Timothy 2:13, this message calls us to recall God’s track record. The doors He opened. The doors He closed. The prayers He answered. The ways He carried us when we did not even realize we were being carried.
Because sometimes memory becomes ministry to our own souls.
This episode also reminds us that faithfulness is not perfection. It can look like returning, repenting, receiving correction, and getting back up.
We are not faithful so that God will be faithful to us.
We learn faithfulness because He has already been faithful to us.
Don’t let one hard chapter make you forget the Author.

What if God was never simply teaching us how to stop?
What if, all along, He was teaching us how to stay?
In this final July Heart Share from A Seat at the Queen’s Table, Denise Smith gathers the revelation of an entire month of REST and brings it back to one defining truth:
Rest is not the month. Rest is the posture.
Throughout July, we discovered that biblical rest is not inactivity. It is trust, communion, obedience, surrender, and abiding.
We learned to remain under the shadow when the storm is still raging. We learned to respond when God calls, trust that our labor is not in vain, wait on the Lord without interfering, and clear the table of the things God never asked us to carry.
And somewhere along the journey, we realized:
We thought God was teaching us how to stop, but He was teaching us how to stay.
Stay in His presence.
Stay anchored when the wind blows.
Stay planted while you wait.
Stay surrendered when you want to control the outcome.
Stay at the Table.
Stay. Remain. Abide. The women at the Table confirmed that rest had been redefined. Rest became communion with God—not leftover time with Him. Rest became a key to the Kingdom. And we discovered that rest does not mean you get to quit; rest means you get to go deeper.
Then the purpose of July became clear:
God taught us REST because He was preparing us for FAITHFULNESS.
A rested woman can remain because she knows where her strength comes from. She knows the difference between responsibility and burden. She can labor without worshiping the work, wait without interfering, obey without controlling the outcome, and keep showing up even when she cannot see the result.
Faithfulness is not frantic.
It is steady. Planted. Present. Available. Remaining.
God did not spend July simply teaching us how to stop.
He was teaching us how to stay.
Come. Sit. Abide. Receive. Rest.
And now—
Remain faithful.

Fri, 31 Jul 2026 - 2h 12min - 332 - REST: Clear the Table
What if rest isn't something you need to find?
What if it is already available—and the real issue is that we've filled the table with so much of our own stuff that there is no room to receive it?
In this powerful Heart Share from A Seat at the Queen's Table, Latisha “Tee” Bowen takes us deeper into the July journey of REST with a message about where we have come, to Whom we have come, and what it means to remain there.
Beginning in Hebrews 12, Tee reminds us that when we gather in the name of Jesus, we have come to Mount Zion—the city of the living God. This is more than another gathering. Zion represents the place of God's presence, His rule, heavenly activity, and commanded blessing.
And Zion isn't somewhere we simply visit.
Zion becomes a heart posture.
We can remain seated at the Table when the gathering ends. We can carry that posture into our marriages, our workplaces, our parenting, our uncertainty, and even our storms.
That is abiding.
And where we abide, we rest.
Tee then turns our attention to Jesus Christ as our Advocate—the One who defends, vindicates, intercedes, and stands on our behalf. When we understand where we have come and know the One to whom we have come, we no longer have to live wrestling with every circumstance or carrying every burden as though the outcome depends entirely upon us.
We can come, believe, abide, and rest.
But then the message turns toward the table.
Perhaps the problem isn't that God hasn't provided rest.
Perhaps our tables are simply too full.
We fill them with work, responsibilities, ministry, family obligations, expectations, schedules, commitments, unnecessary yeses—and sometimes things God never asked us to carry at all.
The table may even look beautiful.
But when there is no room left to dine, something has to move.
And sometimes busyness serves an even deeper purpose: it keeps us from being still long enough to be seen. Our doing can become a covering for the places where we feel inadequate, vulnerable, or unfinished.
So, God's invitation is not simply to manage the table better.
It is to:
Clear the table.
And don't automatically put everything back.
Instead, allow the Holy Spirit to determine what belongs there.
This conversation also confronts a deeply rooted belief many of us have carried: rest must be earned.
Finish first.
Produce first.
Take care of everybody first.
Complete the assignment first.Then rest.
But Jesus' invitation is much simpler:
Come.
No prerequisite.
No completed checklist.
No proof of productivity.Just come.
And when the storms of life arise, rest becomes more than something we've studied—it becomes the posture we've learned to live from.
Can we remain when the winds blow?
Can we worship when circumstances hurt?
Can we trust when we don't understand?
Can we stay anchored deeply enough that although the waves may move us, they don't move us from God?
That is abiding.
That is rest.
So, this week's challenge is simple:
Look at your table.
What did God place there?
What did you place there?
What are you carrying because you've convinced yourself it is necessary?
What needs to be removed?
And once the table is cleared, resist the instinct to immediately fill it again.
Come.
Sit.
Abide.
Receive.
Rest.Because the goal isn't simply to make more room in your schedule for rest.
The goal is to remain in God so completely that—
rest becomes you.

Mon, 27 Jul 2026 - 1h 55min - 331 - REST: Wait on the Lord
What do you do when God has given you a promise—but you cannot see Him fulfilling it yet?
You wait.
In this powerful Heart Share from A Seat at the Queen's Table, Lady Gwendolyn Holloway reminds us that biblical rest is more than physical stillness. Rest is trust. Rest is obedience. And sometimes, rest looks like waiting on God without interfering with what He is doing.
From the rest God established in Genesis to Jesus' invitation in Matthew 11:28, Scripture reveals that true rest has always been found in communion with the One who created it. When we are weary, burdened, uncertain, or tempted to take matters into our own hands, God calls us back to Himself.
"They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength."
But waiting is not doing nothing.
Waiting is trusting when you cannot trace Him.
Waiting is praying without manipulating the outcome.
Waiting is believing the promise without rushing the process.
Waiting is refusing to get ahead of God.Through Scripture and deeply personal testimonies of prodigal children, unanswered prayers, wilderness seasons, family restoration, and lives transformed over time, this conversation reveals what can happen when we finally take our hands off what belongs in God's.
One of the strongest truths to emerge from the table was simple:
You have no idea what God is doing in someone while you are waiting.
The child who appears far from God.
The marriage that doesn't look like you expected.
The family member you've been praying for.
The promise that seems delayed.
The situation you desperately want to fix.
God may be doing His deepest work in the very place where you see the least evidence.
This episode will challenge you to stop measuring God's activity by what you can see and learn to wait well—with prayer, thanksgiving, guarded gates, surrendered expectations, and peace that passes understanding.
Because getting ahead of God can interfere with the very thing we're asking Him to do.
Sometimes His instruction is simply:
Hands off.
Let God work.
Let God restore.
Let God draw.
Let God heal.
Let God fulfill what He promised.
And while He does...
Rest.

What if God's definition of rest has nothing to do with doing less—and everything to do with trusting Him more?
In this deeply practical and faith-filled conversation, Tre' Burks reminds us that rest is not the absence of labor; it is the confidence that our labor is safely in God's hands. Rooted in 1 Corinthians 15:58 and Isaiah 26:3, this message dismantles the lie that busyness equals faithfulness and invites us into the perfect peace God promises to those whose minds remain steadfast on Him.
Through transparent personal testimony, Tre' shares how God met her in workplace conflict, anxiety, and overwhelming responsibility—not by removing every challenge, but by teaching her to remember His faithfulness, trust His promises, and protect her peace. The conversation expands into a powerful discussion on spiritual warfare, boundaries, patient endurance, and learning to say "no" without guilt so we can wholeheartedly say "yes" to God's presence.
Together, the women discover that true rest is cultivated through continual communion with God, intentional obedience, and the courage to release every burden we were never designed to carry.
In this episode you'll discover:

Mon, 20 Jul 2026 - 1h 54min - 329 - REST: Will You Respond?
God is calling—but are we too busy to answer?
In this powerful message from A Seat at the Queen’s Table, Takeia Watts invites us to see rest not as passivity, but as a response to the presence of God. Rest was not an afterthought. It was intentionally woven into creation as a holy rhythm of work, worship, and trust.
As wives, mothers, leaders, caregivers, and women of God, we often carry responsibilities, expectations, and burdens that were never ours to hold. Yet every time God calls us to pause, release control, and come into His presence, we are given a choice: Will we respond?
This message explores the connection between rest, peace, grace, growth, and spiritual maturity. Takeia reminds us that God is not asking us to perform for Him or give Him the leftovers of our time. He is inviting us to abide, to trust that He is still working when we stop, and to allow His grace to form us from the inside out.
You will be encouraged to:
Respond when God calls you away from distractionStop treating rest as optional or earnedRelease what you were never meant to controlMake room for the peace of GodGrow in grace instead of striving for perfectionAllow your roots to go deeper in ChristProduce lasting fruit from a healthy, rested soulGod is still teaching, stretching, refining, and developing you. Fri, 17 Jul 2026 - 1h 51min - 328 - REST: Know Where You've Come - The Danger of Familiarity
Have we become so familiar with God's presence that we've stopped expecting Him to move?
In this powerful continuation of the July: Rest series, Latisha Bowen challenges believers to examine the posture they bring into God's presence. Drawing from Matthew 18, Luke 10, Hebrews 12, and the testimony of persecuted believers around the world, she reminds us that every gathering with God's people is more than a meeting—it is Zion, a holy place where the Father has already prepared the table.
This episode confronts the subtle danger of spiritual familiarity. When worship becomes routine, church becomes an event, or gathering with God's people becomes ordinary, we risk missing the very encounter God has promised.
Through the powerful story of Mary and Martha, Jacob's return to Bethel, the woman with the issue of blood, and the unwavering faith of believers worshiping under persecution, this message calls us to exchange complacency for expectancy.
You'll discover:
Why familiarity can quietly steal your expectancyWhat it means to "know where you've come"Why every gathering is an invitation into holy groundThe difference between hearing and truly listeningWhy God is not simply first—He is THE First, above all order and comparisonHow true rest flows from honoring God's presence rather than merely attending itThis isn't simply an invitation to attend another gathering. Mon, 13 Jul 2026 - 1h 59min - 327 - REST: Under the Shadow - Learning to Rest in the Presence of God
What does it mean to truly rest?
Is it simply getting more sleep...
taking a vacation...
or escaping life's pressures?
In this powerful Heart Share, Lady Veleta Whitfield reveals that biblical rest is far more than physical sleep—it is a posture of complete trust in God.
Drawing from Matthew 11, Psalm 62, Psalm 91, Mark 6, and the biblical principle of the Sabbatical Year, this message reminds us that rest is not optional for God's people—it is an act of faith. God doesn't merely suggest that we rest; He commands it because He knows that striving can never accomplish what surrender does.
Through moving testimonies of healing, protection, and unwavering faith, we witness what God's peace looks like in real life. Whether facing an unexpected medical diagnosis, caring for a loved one battling cancer, or standing in the face of life-threatening danger, each testimony points to the same truth:
Peace is not the absence of trouble. Peace is the presence of God.
You'll discover:
• Why spiritual rest is different from physical sleep
• The biblical purpose of the Sabbatical principle
• How to stop picking up the burdens you've already surrendered to God
• Why peace and rest always walk together
• How to silence fear, anxiety, and every voice that contradicts God's promises
• What it looks like to remain unshaken when circumstances try to shake you
This episode is a beautiful reminder that rest is not retreat—it is strength. It is not passivity—it is trust. It is choosing to dwell under the shadow of the Almighty and believing that God's Word is greater than every diagnosis, every fear, and every report of the enemy. This reflects the heart of July's theme: Rest as strength, not retreat; rest as obedience and authority.

Fri, 10 Jul 2026 - 1h 20min - 326 - REST: The Place We Were Meant to Begin
What if the first lesson God ever taught humanity wasn't about work...but about rest?
In this powerful opening message for the July Rest Series, Denise Smith takes us back to the Garden of Eden to uncover a life-changing revelation hidden in the order of creation. Before Adam and Eve cultivated the garden, named the animals, or fulfilled a single assignment, God invited them into His presence. Their first full day was not a day of labor—it was a day of rest.
This teaching challenges the world's definition of productivity and reminds us that God's original design has never changed. We were never created to strive for His approval. We were created to live from His presence.
Journey from the finished work of creation in Genesis to the finished work of Christ on the Cross, discovering that the invitation to rest has always been woven into God's redemptive plan.
In this episode, you'll discover:
• Why humanity began with rest instead of work
• The difference between striving and abiding
• How Martha and Mary reveal two very different postures before God
• Why Jesus' words, "It is finished," restore us to the place God intended from the beginning
• How resting in God's presence becomes the foundation for purpose, obedience, and every assignment He entrusts to us

Mon, 06 Jul 2026 - 1h 31min - 325 - Only Covenant People Can Truly Rest: Why God Spent June Preparing Us for July
As we conclude our June theme of Covenant, we discover that God wasn't simply teaching us about promises—He was revealing Himself as the Covenant-Keeping God.
Throughout the first half of the year, every monthly theme has been building toward one reality. Alignment. Stewardship. Discernment. Authority. Obedience. Covenant. None of them stood alone. Together, they formed a journey of trust that prepares us to enter God's rest.
In this special Heart Share, Denise Smith reflects on the collective revelations shared around the Queen's Table and asks one defining question:
Why did God spend an entire month teaching us about covenant?
The answer changes everything.
When we truly know the character of the Covenant-Keeping God, we stop striving to earn His acceptance and begin resting in His faithfulness. Covenant isn't simply about God's promises—it is the assurance that our future is already secure in His hands.
"We came looking for covenant... but we found the Covenant-Keeping God."
This powerful conclusion to the Covenant series is also the doorway into July's theme of Rest—because only those who trust the Covenant-Keeping God can truly live from a place of peace rather than performance.

As we close our June theme of Covenant, we pause to reflect on the journey God has taken us on—not only this month, but throughout the first half of the year.
What if covenant was never just the lesson?
What if God was revealing Himself?
In this final Monday Heart Share, we look back at Alignment, Stewardship, Discernment, Authority, Obedience, and Covenant to discover that every step has been preparing us for one thing: Rest.
When we know the character of the Covenant-Keeping God, we no longer strive to earn His love—we learn to abide in it.

Mon, 29 Jun 2026 - 1h 59min - 323 - Return to the Ancient Path: Restoring Covenant Through Obedience
In this powerful Seat at the Queen's Table conversation, Lady Gwendolyn Holloway challenges believers to examine whether we've quietly exchanged conviction for comfort and covenant for culture.
Drawing from Judges 2, she reveals how one generation's failure to remember God became the next generation's spiritual decline. Yet even in brokenness, God's invitation remains the same: Return. Repent. Restore.
Joined by a heartfelt discussion among the women at the table, this episode explores:
• Why covenant requires continual obedience—not occasional commitment.
• The importance of preserving spiritual legacy for future generations.
• How compromise weakens our witness.
• Why God's mercy still makes restoration possible.
• What it truly means to remain steadfast in a changing culture. If you've ever wondered whether God still restores broken covenant, this conversation is your reminder:
His covenant still stands. The invitation is still open. The question is… will you respond?
Fri, 26 Jun 2026 - 1h 10min - 322 - Strive Less, Abide More: Trusting the God Who Is Already Working
In this powerful Queen's Table conversation, Latisha Bowen leads the wives deeper into the heart of covenant—not as an agreement we maintain through effort, but as a relationship sustained through trust.
Throughout the discussion, one message emerged again and again:
Stop striving. Start abiding.
Many believers spend their lives trying to produce what only God can provide. Yet Jesus teaches that fruit is not produced through striving but through abiding.
Drawing from John 15, Galatians 5:22-23, Hebrews 13:21, and Matthew 5:16, this episode explores the connection between covenant, trust, obedience, and spiritual fruitfulness.
Together, the wives are reminded:
• God is fully aware and fully present
• The table has already been prepared
• Nothing is missing from what God has provided
• Trust is the doorway to abiding
• Abiding is the response to covenant
• Fruit grows naturally where trust remainsIf covenant gave you access to the table, then abiding is what keeps you seated there.
Because the branch does not strive to bear fruit.
It simply remains connected.
"Our response to covenant is abiding."
Mon, 22 Jun 2026 - 1h 23min - 321 - Trusting the One Preparing the Meal
What happens when God serves something different than what we ordered?
In this Juneteenth edition of A Seat at the Queen's Table, Denise Smith continues the June theme of Covenant by exploring one of the deepest challenges of faith: trusting God's preparation when His answer doesn't match our expectations.
Through the simple illustration of a drive-thru order, listeners are invited to consider how often we come to God with our minds already made up—about the answer, the timeline, and the outcome. But covenant is not about controlling the menu. Covenant is about trusting the One preparing the meal.
Together, the women explore:
• Covenant access versus covenant trust
• The difference between God's menu and our preferences
• Why abiding is the true work of the believer
• How God changes our appetite as we mature spiritually
• What it means to trust God when healing becomes process, promotion becomes humility, or breakthrough becomes waiting
• The powerful question: If God doesn't do anything else, is He enough? This conversation ultimately reveals that the greatest gift at the table was never the meal—it was the Father sitting with us all along.
"Covenant gave me access. Access brought me to the table. Trust keeps me seated. Abiding allows me to receive."
Fri, 19 Jun 2026 - 1h 48min - 320 - The Seat Covenant Already Prepared
Throughout June we've talked about what covenant requires—commitment, faithfulness, stewardship, and remaining when convenience gives us permission to leave.
But what does covenant provide?
In this powerful Queen's Table conversation, Denise Smith shifts the focus from covenant responsibility to covenant privilege.
Through Ephesians 2:13-22, we are reminded that covenant was never simply about obligation—it was always about access.
Access to God's presence.
Access to His wisdom.
Access to His peace.
Access to His promises.
Access to His heart.
This episode challenges us to examine where disappointment, fear, transition, and unmet expectations have convinced us to stand outside doors that God has already opened.
Because covenant did not simply open a door.
Covenant gave us a seat.
If you've ever questioned your place, struggled with identity beyond titles, or wondered whether God is still enough when life doesn't unfold as expected, this conversation will remind you of a powerful truth:
You are not a stranger.
You are not an outsider.
You belong to the household of God.
And access has already been granted.

Throughout Scripture, covenant has never been based on convenience—it has always been rooted in commitment.
In this powerful Covenant Series teaching, Takeia Watts challenges us to examine the relationships God has entrusted to us and asks a sobering question:
Have we chosen convenience where God required covenant?
Drawing from Ecclesiastes 4:9-12, Ruth 1:16-17, Nehemiah 4, and 1 Samuel 15:22, this conversation explores the difference between emotional contracts and Kingdom covenant.
Together we discover:
• Why covenant is greater than convenience
• How faithfulness survives when feelings fluctuate
• Why grace is essential to every covenant relationship
• How the enemy attacks unity through offense and isolation
• What it means to build spiritual walls that protect covenant, identity, and destiny
• Why some battles are evidence that what you're building mattersThis isn't merely a conversation about marriage.
It's a call to protect every God-ordained relationship He has entrusted to us.
Because covenant is not passive.
It is cultivated.

What does covenant actually feel like?
In this powerful Queen's Table conversation, Latisha Bowen leads wives into a deeper understanding of covenant—not as a contract, but as relationship.
Through worship, reflection, and prophetic insight, the discussion centers on one life-changing truth:
God knew you before you were named.
Before your successes.
Before your failures.
Before your struggles.
Before anyone else knew you.He knew you.
As worship filled the room through the moving declaration "You Know My Name," wives were reminded that covenant is more than promises written on paper. Covenant is God's continual extension of Himself toward His people.
To know Him.
To be known by Him.
To be loved by Him.
To be kept by Him.
This episode is an invitation to rest in the security of God's covenant love and remember that nothing you face is hidden from the One who formed you, called you, and knows your name.

All week long, Denise thought she was preparing to teach deeper on covenant.
But the Holy Spirit would not let her move forward.
Instead, He kept bringing her back to one uncomfortable truth:
Stop rebuking devils in places where God is asking for stewardship.
In this powerful Covenant Series teaching, Denise challenges wives to examine the areas of life they may have unintentionally neglected—not through rebellion, but through distraction, delay, busyness, and inattention.
What if the thing you're praying for isn't under attack?
What if it's undernourished?
What if the marriage isn't being destroyed by warfare as much as it's being weakened by neglect?
What if the prayer life isn't blocked as much as it's been abandoned?
Drawing from Haggai 1, Revelation 2, Song of Solomon 2, and the example of God's covenant faithfulness, this episode explores the connection between stewardship, obedience, consistency, and covenant.
Because before God builds, He prepares.
Before God strengthens, He exposes.
Before God increases, He examines.
And before He entrusts more, He looks at what we've done with what we already have.
If God is exposing it, He intends to strengthen it.
If He is revealing it, He intends to heal it.
If He is highlighting it, He intends to restore it.
This isn't a message about condemnation.
It's a call to stewardship.
It's a call to return.

In this powerful and deeply personal episode, Denise Smith reflects on the journey through Obedience School and explores the question many believers face when life takes an unexpected turn:
What happens to your yes when life doesn't cooperate with your faith?
Through transparent testimony—including the loss of her son, the loss of her job, her mother's declining health, and doors that remain closed—Denise shares what it means to keep saying yes to God when answers don't come, outcomes don't make sense, and trust is all that's left.

Fri, 29 May 2026 - 1h 26min - 314 - OBEDIENCE: The Foothold You Didn’t Notice
This week in Obedience School, the Wives Who War gathered around a powerful conversation sparked by the short film Foothold and the sobering truth of Ephesians 4:27: “Neither give place to the devil.”
What begins as silence at the dinner table reveals something much deeper—how pride, lingering emotions, delayed forgiveness, unresolved hurt, and small compromises can quietly become access points for the enemy. Through raw transparency, scripture, conviction, and revelation, the women unpacked how obedience is often not about grand gestures… but about yielding in the small moments.
This wasn’t just a discussion about marriage. It was a confrontation with the heart.
Because sometimes the greatest spiritual warfare is not loud at all—it’s the silent decision to obey the Holy Spirit when your emotions want control.

Through scripture, testimony, correction, and prophetic insight, this conversation exposed the difference between acting obedient and truly living surrendered.
From Philippians 2:8 to 1 Samuel 15:22, the call became clear:
obedience is not just what we do externally—it is how we align internally. This teaching explores:
• Spiritual obedience vs. performative obedience
• Why obedience is better than sacrifice
• The danger of the “little foxes” that quietly pull us out of alignment
• How disobedience disguises itself as comfort, familiarity, and delay

This powerful Heart Share from Veleta Whitfield challenged every listener with one central question:
Do you really trust God?
Not when it’s easy.
Not when the outcome looks favorable.
Not when the blessing is obvious. But when the instructions don’t make sense.
When the storm is raging.
When the blueprint requires surrender.
When obedience costs something.Through raw testimony, biblical truth, and powerful analogies surrounding foundations, trust, obedience, and spiritual endurance, this conversation reminds us that obedience is not about understanding every detail — it is about trusting the Architect.
From Noah building the ark…
to Abraham surrendering Isaac…
to trusting God through sickness, uncertainty, delay, and difficult seasons…this episode will challenge you to stop negotiating with what God already said and simply respond in obedience.

The Cost of a Fully Surrendered Yes -
This morning’s Heart Share centered on one powerful truth from 1 Samuel 15:22:
“To obey is better than sacrifice…”
But the revelation went deeper—because true obedience requires sacrifice.
In this powerful and convicting conversation, Takeia unpacked the difference between outward sacrifice and genuine surrender, exposing how partial obedience is still disobedience. Through biblical teaching, personal testimony, accountability, and prophetic insight, the women of Wives Who War were challenged to confront the areas where comfort, pride, fear, emotions, and personal agendas have competed with God’s instructions.
This episode explores:

God has already spoken.
Through His Word.
Through instruction.
Through the very thing you’ve been sitting on.So, the question is no longer, “Did I hear God?”
The question is:
“What am I doing with what He said?”
In this powerful Monday Heartshare, Denise challenges us to move beyond hearing, agreeing, and even understanding—and step into responsibility.
Because obedience is not developed through repetition.
It is revealed through response.
This message confronts the space between instruction and action—the place where overthinking, delay, and control try to negotiate what God has already made clear.

Welcome to May.
Not a continuation—this is a shift.
On this first day of the month, we step out of revelation and into responsibility. Authority has already been established. The question is no longer “Do I have it?”—the question is:
“Will I obey?”
In this powerful Heartshare, Denise Smith challenges us to confront the truth we often avoid:
Delayed obedience is still disobediencePartial obedience is still resistanceAnd obedience will cost you somethingThis is not surface-level teaching. This is a call to movement.
Through scripture, personal testimony, and prophetic insight, Denise walks us through the tension between hearing God and actually responding to Him. She reminds us that many of us are not waiting on God…

This is not another teaching—this is a response.
All month, we have explored what it means to walk in God-given authority. We’ve defined it, examined it, and experienced it. But now, everything comes down to one question:
Will you obey?
Authority is not something you strive to obtain—it has already been given.
The tension has never been about access…
It has always been about alignment. In this final Heart Share, we confront the truth:
➡️ Authority without obedience is incomplete
➡️ Power without alignment becomes ineffective
➡️ And fear is not just an emotion—it is an agreementThrough scripture, prophetic insight, and a direct call to action, this episode will challenge you to:

In this Queen’s Table teaching, Gwendolyn Holloway challenges wives to actively walk in their God-given authority—not through control, loudness, or manipulation, but through submission, integrity, wisdom, and quiet strength. Rooted in Acts 1:8, 2 Timothy 3:16, Romans 13:1–2, Ruth, and Matthew 10:16, this episode reminds us that authority is God-breathed, God-possessed, and God-given. Authority has been given—but are you actively walking in it, or passively surrendering it?
In this powerful Heart Share at The Queen’s Table, Tre’ Burks challenges us to confront one of the greatest threats to spiritual authority: fear and anxiety.
Through both teaching and personal testimony, she exposes how easily we can shift from faith to self-reliance—moving from daily dependence on God into quiet patterns of “winging it,” until pressure reveals what is truly governing us.
From navigating unexpected leadership transitions to facing real-life health concerns, Tre’ walks us through what it looks like to:
Take authority over fearful thoughtsRefuse agreement with anxietyRe-anchor daily in God’s Word and presenceThis episode reminds us that fear is not just a feeling—it is an agreement. And when we agree with fear, we step out of alignment with the authority God has already entrusted to us.
Key Takeaways:
Authority requires daily engagement—not occasional dependenceFear and anxiety strip authority when left uncheckedFaith must be activated intentionally through Word, prayer, and praiseYou already carry what you need—you must choose to walk in itBecause you cannot walk fully in authority while being led by fear.

• You cannot walk in authority if you don’t know your identity
• Authority flows through your relationship with Christ
• The same boldness you had in the world—must now be submitted to God
• Worship is not separate from authority—it strengthens itThrough the life of Deborah, we are reminded:

In this powerful teaching, Takeia Watts breaks down a foundational truth:
you don’t lose your identity… but you can step out of position. And when you step out of position, you limit the authority that’s already been given to you.
This message will shift how you see authority:
• Authority flows from position—not emotion
• You fight from victory—not for it
• Silence can allow chaos—but your voice can shift atmospheres
• What you say consistently shapes what you seeBecause authority is not something you turn on in crisis—
it is something you carry daily. And the instruction is simple:

It is revealed under pressure. In this powerful teaching, Denise Smith walks us through what it truly means to carry God-given authority when emotions rise, when pressure hits, and when your flesh wants to respond.
This message will confront you:
• Are you reacting… or representing?
• Are you defending yourself… or submitted to God?
• Are you speaking… or being led?Because authority is not just in what you say in Jesus’ name—
it is in what you restrain because of Him.And sometimes…
your greatest authority is revealed in your silence.Mon, 06 Apr 2026 - 1h 15min - 299 - Authority: It’s Not Loud, It’s Aligned
Authority is not something you prove.
It’s something you carry. In this powerful kickoff to April’s theme, Denise Smith breaks down what biblical authority truly is—delegated power from God, not performance, control, or volume.
This message will confront everything we’ve mistaken for authority and realign us with truth:
• Authority flows from identity, not insecurity
• Authority is restraint, not reaction
• Authority is submission, not controlBecause the strongest display of authority is not always what you say…
it’s what you refuse to respond to.Discernment trained your ear.
Now authority will train your voice.Fri, 03 Apr 2026 - 1h 02min - 298 - Discernment: When God Slows You Down to See Clearly
Discernment isn’t just about decisions—it’s about development.
In this final teaching of the month, we confront the truth:
some of what we called discernment was actually emotion, fear, and self-protection.God didn’t just teach us how to choose—He trained us how to see.
This episode will challenge you to:
• Stop moving out of urgency
• Surrender your reactions
• Embrace holy restraint
• See from heaven’s perspective—not your painBecause clarity costs… but moving without it costs more.
And here’s the truth:
You cannot walk in authority if you cannot discern. This is the shift.
This is the reset.
This is the preparation.Mon, 30 Mar 2026 - 1h 01min - 297 - Discernment: Spirit-Led, Not Judgment
Anchor Scriptures: James 1:5, 2 Timothy 2:15, 1 Corinthians 2:10–14
Discernment is not opinion.
Discernment is not emotion.
And it is definitely not judgment. In this powerful session, Gwendolyn Holloway breaks down what discernment truly is — a Spirit-led gift that requires wisdom, the Word, and maturity.
This message calls us higher — to stop operating in feelings and tradition, and to become women who can rightly divide truth from deception.
Because discernment is not something you perform…
it is something God imparts. And when you carry it, you don’t shrink — you move with holy boldness.
Fri, 27 Mar 2026 - 1h 22min - 296 - Discernment: Winning the Battle in Your Mind
Anchor Scriptures:
Romans 12:22 Corinthians 10:5Philippians 4:8
The greatest battles are not external — they are internal.
In this powerful session from the Wives Who War Queens Table, we are reminded that discernment begins in the mind.
The enemy does not just attack circumstances — he targets thoughts, patterns, and perception. And if left unchecked, those thoughts can become strongholds that shape how we see ourselves, others, and even God.
This message challenges wives to examine their thinking, confront deception, and align their minds with truth.
Because you cannot discern clearly if your mind is clouded.
And what you continually think… you eventually become.
Fri, 20 Mar 2026 - 1h 08min - 294 - Discernment: What It Looks Like vs What It Is
Everything is not as it appears.
In this powerful session, Latisha “Tee” Bowen breaks down the difference between perception and discernment — and why it matters.
Perception is shaped by our experiences, emotions, and expectations. But discernment is spiritual. It reveals what is actually true.
This message challenges us to stop giving more authority to what we see and return to what God said.
Because you can look at a situation… and still not truly see it.

Fri, 20 Feb 2026 - 1h 08min - 292 - Discernment: Check Your Heart - When Perception Distorts Truth
Discernment is not simply the difference between right and wrong.
Sometimes the real question is: what is happening in our own hearts?
In this powerful session led by Tre’ Burks, we are reminded that our perceptions, insecurities, and emotions can distort what we believe we see.
Discernment calls us to pause, examine our motives, and surrender our thoughts to God’s truth.
Because when the enemy cannot control our circumstances, he often tries to influence our interpretation.
And if we are not careful, we can misread correction as rejection, assume motives that were never there, and take the very bait meant to trap us.
True discernment begins with a simple prayer:
“Lord, search my heart.”
Mon, 16 Mar 2026 - 1h 22min - 291 - Discernment: Seeing Beyond What Is Seen - Training Your Spiritual Senses
Discernment is more than intuition — it is spiritual maturity.
In this episode, Takeia Watts teaches that discernment allows us to see beyond what is visible and respond with wisdom instead of emotion.
Rooted in Hebrews 5:14, this conversation reminds wives that discernment is developed through spiritual training. It sharpens our ability to recognize truth, avoid deception, and refuse battles that were never ours to fight.
Because when our spiritual senses are trained, we stop reacting to what we see and begin responding to what God reveals.
Fri, 13 Mar 2026 - 1h 13min - 290 - Go Back: The Kairos Moment w/ Latisha Bowen
What do you do when you’ve obeyed God for years… and nothing seems to move?
In this powerful heart share, Latisha “Tee” Bowen leads us through the message behind the short film “The Approach.” The story follows a man who carried vision for decades, faced rejection, invisibility, and exhaustion, yet was still instructed by God to go back.
Sometimes the moment we believe is humiliation is actually a Kairos moment — God’s appointed time.
This conversation reminds us that:
Nothing God deposits in you is wasted.
Seeds sown in obscurity are still growing.
The audience may change, but the assignment remains.
Many of us walk away from the very moment where heaven intends to reveal what God has been preparing all along.
The question is not whether God will fulfill His word.
The question is whether we will return when He says go back.
Because the same place that once rejected you may become the place where access is granted.
Mon, 09 Mar 2026 - 1h 25min - 289 - Discernment in How We See Others: Purifying Our Perception w/ Denise Smith
Discernment doesn’t only guide our decisions.
It also shapes how we see people.
In this episode, we confront a hard truth Jesus teaches in Luke 6:41–42: it is possible to notice the speck in someone else’s eye while remaining blind to the plank in our own.
What we sometimes call discernment can quietly become criticism, suspicion, or judgment when humility is absent.
True discernment begins with self-examination.
It slows us down before we accuse.
It pauses us before we react.
It forces us to admit we may not have the full story.Because only God sees the whole heart.
Discernment listens longer than it speaks.
Discernment examines itself before correcting others.
Discernment chooses love before conclusion. When shaped by the Spirit, discernment purifies our perception—and protects our relationships.
Fri, 06 Mar 2026 - 1h 39min - 288 - Discernment: Led by Direction, Not Pressure
January aligned us.
February taught us stewardship.
March demands discernment.Not intuition.
Not emotion.
Not urgency.Discernment is hearing before moving.
Waiting before responding.
Trusting timing over impulse. In this episode, we confront premature obedience, emotional reaction, and the danger of freelancing our lives. Because not every opportunity is instruction. Not every need is your assignment. And not every open door is permission.
Clarity protects destiny.
Timing protects covenant.
Wisdom protects peace. This month, we will not move because we feel pressure.
We will move because we are directed.Mon, 02 Mar 2026 - 1h 04min - 287 - A Kingdom Performance Review: Are You Stewarding Well? w/ Lady Gwendolyn
This was not a casual conversation about stewardship.
This was a Kingdom performance review.
In this powerful session led by Lady Gwendolyn, we were confronted with the sobering reality that stewardship is compound. It is not limited to finances or church service — it includes our homes, bodies, thoughts, attitudes, forgiveness, prayer life, sanctification, love, and obedience.
Psalm 24:1 reminds us that the earth is the Lord’s and everything in it. We are not owners — we are managers. 2 Corinthians 5:20 declares that we are ambassadors for Christ. That means we are accountable for how we represent Him.
Through scripture after scripture — Matthew 25, Genesis 2, Numbers 20, Deuteronomy 32 — we were reminded that God is serious about stewardship. Moses was a steward. And even he was held accountable when he struck what he was told to speak to.
The questions echoed:
What have you been charged with? What are you striking instead of speaking to?How are you stewarding your body? How are you stewarding your thoughts? How are you stewarding forgiveness? How are you stewarding your love?Does God find you trustworthy? This message called for examination, not condemnation.
Repentance, not excuses.
Movement, not emotion.
“God, have I done what YOU expected me to do?”
If this month has been about stewardship, this episode seals it with accountability.
Today is your day.
Examine yourself.
Fri, 27 Feb 2026 - 1h 36min - 285 - The Unseen Partner: Stewarding the Holy Spirit w/ Latisha "Tee" Bowen
Featuring Brenda Palmer’s message “Your Unseen Partner”
In this powerful heart share, Latisha “Tee” Bowen leads us into a deeper understanding of what it truly means to steward the Holy Spirit.
Centered around Brenda Palmer’s message, “Your Unseen Partner,” this session confronts a foundational question:
How can we steward anything well if we are not stewarding our walk with Him?
The room was stirred as we were reminded that the Holy Spirit is not an accessory to our faith—He is the FULL Director. He is the Spirit of Truth who guides us into all truth. He exposes, refutes, convicts, and reveals Jesus.
Throughout the discussion, several truths echoed:
You cannot see obedience — but Heaven does.
Disobedience gives place to the enemy (Ephesians 4:27).
Alignment ➝ Stewardship ➝ Obedience.
His voice must supersede our reasoning.
Faith requires movement.
This episode calls us to examine whether we are keeping our commitments to God—or to our flesh. Whether we are leaning our ear toward His voice—or toward our own comfort. Whether we are giving away pieces of our peace and mind instead of guarding them.
Stewardship is not just financial. It is spiritual. It is relational. It is internal.
The Holy Spirit is the unseen partner—but He must not be the unattended one.
Reflection Question:
Are you stewarding your walk with God as carefully as you steward your responsibilities?Be found faithful — even in what cannot be seen.
Mon, 23 Feb 2026 - 1h 49min - 284 - Practical Stewardship: Managing What God Has Entrusted w/ Takeia Watts
In this powerful session, Takeia Watts leads us deeper into what stewardship truly requires—not just spiritually, but practically.
Rooted in 1 Corinthians 4:2, this conversation challenges us to move beyond theory and into faithful management of what God has already entrusted to us. Stewardship is not only about finances—it is about faithfulness, wisdom, discipline, and the condition of the heart.
Throughout the teaching, the room was stirred with questions that cut deep:
How faithful are you managing what God has given you?
Are you stewarding the MORE well?
Does your spending reflect your priorities—or your void?
Is your lack of planning becoming God’s emergency?
This session unpacks biblical stewardship through:
• Counting the cost (Luke 14:28)
• Managing within your allotment
• Creating margins—financial and emotional
• Inviting God into routines, not just results
• Understanding that faith does not replace wisdom—it works with itTakeia reminds us that stewardship requires awareness, repentance, consistency, and obedience. It is not perfection—it is growth. It is not shame—it is invitation.
From budgeting as obedience to managing emotional margins, this episode confronts the subtle ways we mismanage what God has entrusted—and calls us back to alignment with wisdom.
If February is about stewardship, this session brings the discipline to match the revelation.
Reflection Question:
What is God teaching you to manage better right now?Be found faithful.
Fri, 20 Feb 2026 - 1h 54min - 283 - Stewarding Relationships w/ Tre' Burks
Relationships are not accidental — they are entrusted.
In this powerful session, Tre’ Burks takes us deep into what it truly means to steward the relationships God has placed in our lives. From covenant and friendship to singleness and spiritual community, this conversation challenges us to examine our posture, our capacity, and our emotional maturity.
Are you insulated in wisdom — or isolated in pride?
Are your emotions riding — or driving?
Are you adding relationships — or cultivating the right ones?Rooted in Scripture and delivered with clarity and conviction, this episode reminds us that stewardship is not just about resources — it’s about responsibility. And how we handle relationships reveals how ready we are for what God wants to entrust next.
If you’re serious about growing in wisdom, guarding covenant, and leading without fragmentation, this one is for you.
Press play. Listen slowly. Let it work.
Mon, 16 Feb 2026 - 2h 11min - 282 - Biblical Stewardship: A Life of Faithful Responsibility - [Time, Talent, Treasure, and Tongue] 1 Corinthians 4:2 (ESV)
In this powerful segment, Lady Veleta Whitfield of Clinton Avenue Baptist Church in Richmond, California, walks us through what biblical stewardship truly means—not merely as a concept, but as a life of faithful responsibility before God.
Stewardship begins with a foundational truth: You don’t own it. God does. We are entrusted managers, not ultimate authorities. Whether it is our time, our gifts, our finances, our relationships, or even our words—everything belongs to Him.
This teaching breaks stewardship down into four clear categories:
Time – With 168 hours in a week, how much is intentionally given back to the Lord? We are called to walk wisely (Ephesians 5:15–17), honor seasons (Ecclesiastes 3:1), and be intentional with every moment.
Talent – Our skills are meant for service, not selfish gain (1 Peter 4:10). We are required to prove faithful (1 Corinthians 4:2), to pursue excellence (Ecclesiastes 9:10), and to steward our gifts so we do not “die with our talent.”
Treasure – Everything we possess is temporarily entrusted (Psalm 24:1; Matthew 6:19–21). Stewardship requires managing money and resources in a way that reflects God’s sovereignty, not worldly attachment. Be trustworthy with the small things.
Tongue – Perhaps the most convicting. Words can set fires (James 3:5). Stewarding your tongue means resisting “clapping back,” speaking life not death (Proverbs 12:18), and allowing the Holy Spirit to govern your responses. Some things are better left unsaid. Steward your conversations. Steward your space. Steward your words.
Throughout the live discussion, the room leaned in deeply. The call was clear: we cannot pick and choose what we will steward. We must steward it all—faithfully, intentionally, and under God’s full authority.
This episode challenges us to examine not just what we manage—but how we manage it. Stewardship is an obedient witness to God’s sovereignty. It is not performance; it is faithfulness in practice.
Reflection Questions:
Am I stewarding my time intentionally—or just occupying space?
Are my gifts serving God—or serving self?
Does my speech reflect maturity and restraint?
Am I acknowledging God’s ownership in practice, not just in theory?
True stewardship honors God in every category.
Be found faithful. Amen
Fri, 13 Feb 2026 - 1h 38min - 281 - Faith Tested. Hope Lost. God Moved.
There are moments when faith is tested beyond words—when hope feels distant, strength feels thin, and the weight of what God has shown us feels heavier than what we believe we can carry.
In this episode, we sit with the tension between faith, capacity, and stewardship. What happens when God shows you something expansive, but your faith has not yet been nourished to sustain it? What happens when belief is present, but preparation is lacking?
Grounded in Romans 10:17 and Matthew 9:27–29, this conversation confronts a sobering question that echoed throughout the room: Can your faith say yes—and has it been fed enough to carry what God is entrusting to you? Faith does not grow by emotion or urgency. It grows when it is intentionally fed, stewarded, and strengthened over time.
During the episode, Latisha shared a short film titled Faith Tested. Hope Lost. God Moved. The film became a living illustration of a truth many wrestle with quietly: being shown something great does not automatically mean we are ready to manage it. God’s promises are real—but they require capacity, wisdom, and maturity to sustain.
The discussion revealed that God’s pauses are not punishment. They are protection. When faith is starved, even good assignments can become overwhelming. When faith is fed, God moves—not to overwhelm us, but to establish us.
This episode invites listeners to examine where faith has been nourished, where it has been neglected, and how stewardship plays a role in carrying what God has promised. It is a call to slow down, listen closely, and allow faith to be strengthened before weight is added.
Reflection Questions:
Has my faith been fed enough to carry what God has shown me?Where has hope felt tested—and what has that revealed? What might God be protecting me from by asking me to grow first?Faith will be tested.
Hope may feel lost.
But when faith is stewarded, God moves.
Tue, 10 Feb 2026 - 1h 22min - 280 - Stewardship Is Not Busyness: Guarding Assignment with Wisdom
Stewardship is not just a concept—it is a way of living. And one of the greatest threats to true stewardship is busyness.
In today’s episode, we sharpen our understanding of stewardship by confronting a common misconception: that doing more equals faithfulness. Scripture makes it clear that God is not impressed by activity—He is honored by faithful care.
Busyness often disguises itself as obedience, but when unchecked, it leads to distraction, depletion, and misalignment. Stewardship, on the other hand, requires wisdom. It calls us to guard our assignments, manage our energy, protect our peace, and discern what God has truly entrusted to us—versus what we’ve assumed or allowed by pressure.
This episode explores the difference between:
Assignment and assumption
Faithfulness and frenzy
Obedience and overextension
You’ll be challenged to consider whether your current pace reflects alignment or pressure, and whether your yeses are guarding your assignment or eroding it. Stewardship is not about filling every moment—it’s about honoring the weight of what God has already placed in your care.
This conversation is an invitation to live intentionally, lead wisely, and steward from a place of rest rather than strain.
Reflection Question:Where has busyness been competing with wisdom in how I steward what God has entrusted to me?

- 276 - From Alignment to Stewardship: Guarding What God Has Entrusted
January was never meant to be an ending—it was a foundation. Alignment positioned us, but stewardship teaches us how to live from that position.
As we step into February, the focus shifts from posture to responsibility. This episode marks the beginning of our Stewardship series, where we explore what it means to guard what God has already entrusted to us—not by doing more, but by caring well.
Stewardship is not ownership. It is the faithful management of what does not belong to us. Our time, energy, peace, relationships, responsibilities, and assignments are not self-sourced—they are God-given. And God does not entrust things to exhaust us, but to be guarded, nurtured, and sustained.
In this episode, we unpack why stewardship is often misunderstood and why faithfulness—not visibility, productivity, or pressure—is the true measure God is looking for. Drawing from Scripture and lived experience, we look at biblical models of stewardship through the lives of Joseph, Mary, the Proverbs 31 woman, and even Jesus Himself—who modeled boundaries, rest, and obedience without guilt.
This teaching also comes from a deeply personal place. Denise shares how stewardship has been required in seasons of profound loss, transition, and overlapping responsibilities—where alignment alone was not enough. Stewardship, in this season, has meant restraint, release, guarding peace, and trusting God’s provision without striving for control.
This episode is an invitation—not to carry more, but to carry correctly. Not to fight every battle, but to steward peace. Not to prove faith, but to live it responsibly.
Reflection Question:
What has God entrusted to me that I need to care for differently this month?Mon, 02 Feb 2026 - 1h 03min - 275 - Staying Aligned Under Pressure
Pressure has a way of revealing what seat we’re really sitting in.
In this episode of the Wives Who War Podcast, guest speaker Takeia Watts leads us through James 1 with clarity and honesty, exploring what it means to remain aligned when life applies pressure. This is not a conversation about avoiding trials, but about how we respond when they come.
James reminds us that testing is not meant to break us—it is meant to produce endurance. But endurance only develops when our posture is right. When alignment is off, pressure creates frustration, fear, and reaction. When alignment is intact, pressure produces maturity, wisdom, and strength.
Together, we examine what it looks like to stay aligned in identity, perspective, trust, and endurance—especially when circumstances are uncomfortable, unanswered, or ongoing. This episode invites listeners to pause, assess their posture, and choose wisdom over impulse, faith over fear, and steadiness over striving.
If you’ve felt stretched, tested, or pressed lately, this conversation will help you return to alignment and remain seated—right where God has placed you.
Fri, 30 Jan 2026 - 1h 48min - 274 - Misalignment Doesn’t Shout — It Whispers
Anchor Scripture:Psalm 139:23–24 (NLT)
“Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.”
In this powerful conversation at the Queen’s Table, with Jacqueline Holmes, we sit with the reality that alignment isn’t about being right — it’s about being responsive.
What happens when God lovingly confronts us over something “small”?
What does it mean to stay in your seat, resist comparison, and respond with obedience instead of justification?Through a transparent heart share, scripture, and Spirit-led dialogue, the wives explore how misalignment often shows up quietly — in attitudes, reactions, entitlement, and internal resistance — and how the Holy Spirit gently but firmly brings us back into position.
This episode is a call to:
Stop striving for a problem-free life
Release comparison and contentment-killers
Submit our decisions and behaviors to the seat God has assigned
Allow conviction to correct us without condemnation
God isn’t calling us to perfection — He’s calling us to His perfect will.
Pull up your chair. Stay in your lane. And let God realign what love is shaping.
