The season finale of Catherine Reitman's Workin' Moms is upon us (airs Tuesday March 28th on CBC). We celebrate 7 seasons of one of the most successful Canadian television shows with award-winning actress, producer and director, Dani Kind who plays Anne Carlson on the show. She is also recognized for the people’s choice award winning Wynonna Earp (Syfy/CTV Sci-Fi).

Kind has been nominated for three Canadian Screen Awards for best lead actress in a comedy alongside Catherine O’Hara.  In the past year, Kind had her directorial debut with her short film Capsule and went on to direct an episode of Workin' Moms.

His 30 years in television and radio broadcasting include roles as host and executive producer of the programs George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight/The Hour on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) as well as talk show Stroumboulopoulos on CNN and host of Hockey Night in Canada. He was the host and producer of Canada’s premiere culture show The New Music. Stroumboulopoulos has long been an advocate for many social issues. In addition to being Canada’s first Goodwill Ambassador for the UN agency the World Food Programme for over 10 years, he started the George Stroumboulopoulos Music Therapy Scholarship. He also works closely with the organizations Artists for Peace and Justice, Innocence Canada, Canadian Drug Policy Coalition, and the Michael J. Fox Foundation. He has an Honorary Doctorate of Laws at the University of Calgary.

Jann & co get into the holiday spirit with a little help from a very special guest, Bryan Adams! They discuss his appearance on JANN Alone for The Holidays (which you can watch on CTV on December 9th at 9pm ET), his holiday favourites, new music, and more! We loved hearing the story about how his daughter inspired his new Christmas Song: Let’s Get Christmas Going. Bryan has actually released four new albums this year, including his Grammy Nominated Best Rock Performance song So Happy It Hurts.

Jann Arden welcomes celebrated Olympian-turned-Executive Advisor Tessa Virtue for a conversation about her transition out of competitive ice dancing. Jann and Sarah ask her about finding confidence on and off the ice, her relationship with Toronto Maple Leafs Defenceman Morgan Rielly, going back to school, and what she dreams of doing next!

Having retired from skating, Tessa joined Deloitte as an Executive Advisor, working with the firm's senior leaders and their clients to translate her learning and experience as a world-class, high-performance athlete to the corporate world. Specifically, Tessa has been a key member of a team creating a new approach to working with organizations to help them and their people operate in a state of performance, allowing individuals to feel and perform at their best while also elevating the performance of teams, business units and the entire organization.  Drawing parallels to her experience with pressure, competition and different approaches to training and coaching, Tessa shares important lessons in mental health and well-being, both as an accomplished speaker and an advisor.

Tessa is also a member of the Order of Canada. She has her MBA from the Smith School of Business and is currently working towards her Masters of Applied Positive Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania
