Tue, 03 Nov 2026 - 200 - Halloween Countdown 2026: Uncanny Halloween Special
This Halloween, Danny Robins takes his paranormal partners-in-crime Ciaran O’Keeffe and Evelyn Hollow on an after dark excursion to allegedly one of the most haunted locations in Britain - the Tower of London.
This is a place soaked in some of Britain’s bloodiest history, where Anne Boleyn was beheaded, Guy Fawkes was tortured, and the Princes in the Tower were said to have met a grisly end. There are long-running rumours of hauntings all around the building, but are they real?
Danny meets current and former staff, including Chris, a retired Beefeater whose experiences in the Tower are the stuff of nightmares, and Lee, who also says he saw something supernatural in the very same room. Alden Gregory, curator of the Tower, tells Danny about the ghosts that have been spotted there over the years. But are these experiences paranormal, or a manifestation of the psychological stresses of living surrounded by so much gruesome history?
Recorded on location at the Tower of London, this is a chance for the Uncanny team to get their boots on the ground and find out.

Thu, 01 Oct 2026 - 168 - Summer Specials 2026: Little Biter
Rebecca has lived in the same Victorian house in the seaside town of Ramsgate for her whole life. For over 30 years, members of her family have repeatedly dreamed of a little girl who bites them while they sleep. Sometimes they catch glimpses of her in the house, with a bucket and spade.
After finding the skeleton of a dog buried on their garden, they start hearing a phantom dog running around the house's corridors. Rebecca's family live happily alongside their spectral visitors, but at certain times of year a sinister male presence seems to manifest. Who are the little girl and the man, and what is the dark history of the Ramsgate house?

Tue, 21 Jul 2026 - 167 - Summer Specials 2026: Cold Cases Live: The Enfield Poltergeist
Thrown objects, apparent levitation, and a dead man who seems to speak through a 12-year-old girl. It can only be The Enfield Poltergeist. It's a story that made national headlines in 1977, and has caused controversy ever since. Was the phenomena genuinely paranomal, or did a 12-year-old girl somehow pull off a hoax that fooled dozens of eyewitnesses - from journalists to the police.
Danny Robins and the team look at the evidence, and talk to Graham Morris, whose iconic photographs documented activity inside the house, in a special episode recorded live at the Crossed Wires Festival in Sheffield.

Tue, 07 Jul 2026 - 165 - Cold Cases: Case Update
Danny, Ciaran and Evelyn look back on the Cold Cases they covered, and catch up on stories, theories and questions sent in by the Uncanny Community. Could The Sandown Clown have been a visitor from the future? Did arsenic infused wallpaper cause the death of Scratching Fanny? And did one intrepid member of Team Believer really see Spring Heeled Jack - or something very like him - in Hyde Park in London, in 1997?

Tue, 30 Jun 2026 - 164 - Cold Cases: Case 12: Borley Rectory, Part 2
Danny and the team return to Borley Rectory, where legendary ghost hunter Harry Price is also about to reopen his case files, bringing 48 researchers to investigate the increasingly violent phenomena that seem to torment everyone who spends time in the house. Kitchen implements fly through the air, rocks are thrown at the new tenants - and one of them receives horrible injuries to her face which leave her with cuts and a black eye. Borley seems to be earning its reputation as the most haunted house in England. But is Harry Price really a sceptic trying to debunk hoaxes and fakery, or a chancer looking to make a fortune?

Tue, 23 Jun 2026 - 163 - Cold Cases: Case 11: Borley Rectory, Part 1
Danny and the team turn their attention to Borley Rectory, which has often been called the most haunted house in England.
It’s a sprawling, spectacular story that spans more than 60 years and features mysterious messages scrawled on the walls, unexplained noises, and at least one phantom nun.
The house became a noted paranormal hotspot soon after it was built in 1862, and was made famous by legendary ghost hunter Harry Price. But was he a meticulous paranormal researcher, or a showman who couldn't resist gilding the lily? And does the truth about Borley lie in the supernatural, or in the all-too-human stories of the families who lived there?

Danny and the team travel back to Canada in the 1870s to investigate the Great Amherst Mystery - one of the most famous and perplexing paranormal cases to come to light during the Golden Age of Spiritualism.
18 year old Esther Cox is the centre of a series of inexplicable, possibly paranormal events - phantom knocking, ghostly messages, and a series of spontaneous fires that start inside the walls of her house.
But is she the victim of a possible paranormal entity, or the mastermind of a devious hoax?

Creepy texts, a ghastly apparition, and a stuffed rabbit with a box cutter.
Danny and the team dip back into the story of the South Shields poltergeist - the first big paranormal case of the digital age.
As the bizarre and terrifying events plaguing a young family in the coastal town of South Shields escalate, Danny and his experts must weigh the evidence. Could there be a rational explanation for what's happening - or is something far stranger at work?

Tue, 14 May 2024 - 55 - Series 4: Case 2: Dad's Phone
Wendy’s father Harry was a British Spitfire pilot during World War II who moved to Texas to work in espionage. When he becomes ill with cancer, he promises Wendy that if there is life after death, he will reach out to her. This isn’t that comforting, their relationship has always been difficult - Harry used many of the espionage techniques he was schooled in to control and monitor Wendy, like a real-life version of Robert De Niro’s character in Meet the Parents.
When Harry dies, Wendy moves into his house in Austin and then… her Dad’s phone begins to ring by itself. It's disconnected, what's happening is impossible, so is this Harry reaching out? And what will it take to make him let go?
