A new study from researchers at Boston University says that language learning for those diagnosed with autism has better success when a diagnosis and therapy begins early. Israel carried out what has been described as a 'limited' missile strike against Iran in retaliation to Tehran firing more than 300 drones and missiles at Israel just days ago. After 25 years at National Public Radio, Senior Editor Uri Berliner resigned Wednesday following backlash from fellow journalists regarding comments he made about NPR's political agenda. A federal appeals court blocked a Texas law that would allow the state’s own law enforcement to arrest migrants suspected of illegally crossing the border, a decision that came just hours after the Supreme Court ruled the bill could take effect. This state immigration law, S.B. 4, has two key parts: it would make illegal crossings a Class B misdemeanor and would require state judges to order migrants convicted of crossing to return to Mexico. A federal appeals court has put a Texas law that allows local police to arrest and deport migrants accused of illegally entering the United States back on hold. This decision came just hours after the Supreme Court decided the law can be enforced. Another obstacle in implementing this law is that Mexico said it will not accept migrants expelled by Texas “under any circumstances." Former President Trump is facing a new legal roadblock: he must post over $450 million for bond in his New York civil case due to fines for manipulating property valuations. If the former President is unable to secure the funds for the bond, the courts could move to seize his properties, like Trump Tower, as collateral in the case. Prosecutors are recommending that Sam Bankman-Fried be sentenced to up to 50 years in prison and fined up to $11 billion for his role in defrauding investors and mishandling billions of dollars worth of customer funds causing the collapse the of crypto exchange FTX in 2022. Weight loss was already a multi-billion dollar industry. Now, anti-obesity drugs that began as treatments for type-two diabetes are beginning to make their mark including Ozempic.
