Winner of the 2025 Dakar Bike Rally and one of our great mates Daniel "Chucky" Sanders joins us for a yarn to reflect on the massive year he had in 2025.

Whilst taking us on tour for the super cross in Melbourne, Chucky joined us to take us through an incredible year in his career, including taking out his first Dakar and almost completing a perfect year in his championship super cross run. We touch on the grueling and rewarding parts of his epic win and also cover the recent activity that has been occurring at his home farm. Was great to finally get him on to tell us all about his win and hopefully he can smash it again this year, as he'll be racing in the 2026 Dakar as soon as this drops. Member of the Missouri thunder and rider of the Warden in the PBR Finals Andrew Alvidrez and PBR Bullfight and great bloke Adrian Roots join us for a yarn.

After the PBR Finals, Rootsy has been taking a few of the riders around Australia to show them some of the great land and wind down before heading back to the US, taking them fishing, hunting and celebrating a great season. Andrew tells us all about his life in the states, growing up, learning the value of hard work and what switch flicked to make him want to be a bullrider. We discuss his ride on the Warden, how it went and some of his best high scoring rides in his career on some absolute weapons of bulls. To finish up, we discuss his lifestyle with his team, Missouri Thunder and the importance of mateship within it when choosing to travel to go bullriding and compete as much as possible. The one of a kind assless hat salesman and one of our best mates Brett "Knuckles" Hanly joins us for a catch up. 

We kick off by discussing about Get Yourself Checked, a charity created he created together with Mark Tobin from an idea sprawled on a napkin one day at the Brekky Creek hotel. Get Yourself Checked recently had their first Gala evening: we discuss how the event went and the vision behind the organisation to encourage everyone to be as preventive as possible for any early signs of cancer.

Despite the fact we think it's impossible he isn't actually cloned, we cover a couple of his recent trips, including The Rock Drive 2000, the AFL GF and the International Brawling Championship before bringing it home with an update on CTC and his plans for the remainder of 2025. This is a bit different to our usual catch ups, as the man opened up as Brett, rather than the Knuckler. It is always an honour and a pleasure to have him on let alone have him in our corner. A jam packed episode this week. We hear an update on the Alpha Guinea from our favourite pig farmer from down south. During a normal run-of-the-mill incident at high school, Ben woke up overnight in hospital losing 98% of his eyesight at the age of 16. We discuss the initial challenges that Ben faced getting his world turned upside down and the physical and mental attitudes he implemented to adapt to his diagnosis and not let it control him. We discuss the turning point of his life when he chose to pursue public speaking to tell his story and how that grew into his very own podcast, Talkin Tough. We discuss the ins and outs of normal every day life being blind, including what Ben does to wind down, the technology he uses to aid him and why he choses not to have a service dog before wrapping up with the Guest Questions and his experience fighting in the Seven Man all in Blindfolded fight at the Podcast Royale 2.0, without a blindfold.
