Dj Mlu-SiQ

On 02 June 2026, I recorded this mix for Umhlobo Wenene FM, not knowing exactly where it would take me. All I ever asked for was God’s timing — nothing rushed, nothing forced, just faith that my time would come. Today, hearing my mix played on national radio feels bigger than just music. It is my first real breakthrough into radio, and a reminder that the work I’ve been putting in quietly has not gone unnoticed. There were moments of doubt, moments of waiting, and moments when I questioned whether my opportunity would ever come. But God was preparing the moment. This is only the beginning. I know I have so much more to give, so much more to create, and so much more to offer. My journey is just getting started. Sometimes the delay is not denial — it is preparation. Trust the process, keep working, stay humble, and let God decide when your moment arrives. ❤️

Spumante is a versatile music producer who seamlessly fuses Neo-Soul, Jazz, and Soulful House into his distinctive sound.

Basslines breathe beneath the floor, a pulse that wasn’t there before— four-on-the-floor like a steady heart, pulling strangers into a single start. The kick drum speaks in ancient code, through cables, clubs, and midnight roads, where lights drip gold on sweating skin and time dissolves in violin synths. A hi-hat whispers—tick, tick, tick— like seconds slipping, fast and slick, while chords rise warm, a velvet wave, a place to lose, a place to save. No walls remain, just sound and heat, a thousand souls, one moving beat, no names, no past, no future’s claim— just rhythm calling every name. House music builds a fragile home, in borrowed space, we’re not alone, a looping truth, both fierce and kind: we leave the world, but find our mind.

Amapiano has become one of the most powerful forces in the South African dance scene because it is more than just a genre — it is a movement that reflects the heartbeat of the streets and the spirit of the youth. Emerging from the townships of Johannesburg and Pretoria, Amapiano blends deep house, jazz, and kwaito influences into a sound that is instantly recognizable, rhythmically infectious, and emotionally uplifting. Its log drums and soulful melodies create a shared energy on dance floors, bringing together people from different backgrounds, languages, and communities. Through viral dance challenges, street performances, and global hits by artists like Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa, Amapiano has shaped a distinct dance identity that celebrates creativity, resilience, and cultural pride. It gives young South Africans a platform to express themselves authentically while connecting with a global audience. As a symbol of unity, Amapiano breaks social barriers, proving that music and dance can create belonging and solidarity — and for that reason, it will forever stand as a defining emblem of South Africa’s vibrant dance culture.

This is for the house heads—the ones who know the groove before the drop, who feel the kick drum in their chest and let it reset their soul. For the late-night dancers, the sunrise survivors, the crate diggers and headphone philosophers. For the heads who understand that house isn’t just music, it’s a language: rhythm as truth, bass as prayer, repetition as freedom. This is for the house heads who never stop moving, even when the track fades.

As we step into the New Year 2026, this soulful house mix opens the door with warmth, rhythm, and feeling—a gentle reminder of why i fell in love with house music in the first place. It’s a musical embrace for every listener, blending deep grooves, uplifting melodies, and soul-touching vocals that speak to fresh beginnings and shared moments on the dancefloor. Let the beats guide us into the year ahead, where every track tells a story, every rhythm carries hope, and the music welcomes you home.

Episode 4 isn’t just a mix—it’s a diary of transformation. The love of amapiano has become my compass: the evolving piano lines teach me patience, the warm bass nudges me to show up for others, and the shared energy reminds me that we rise when we lift each other. In the studio and in life, hope grows louder than fear, turning every uncertain moment into a chance to move with purpose. Amapiano has made resilience a ritual: I pace my steps, breathe through doubt, and celebrate the small wins I once overlooked. It’s proof that music can rewire our mornings, reframe failure, and give us a future worth chasing. If you want a different vibe or length, I can tailor another version.

Episode 3 of the TOSOM mix isn’t just a playlist—it’s a confession that the love of amapiano and the spark of hope have changed my life. The lilting piano, warm bass, and the sense of community in every beat taught me to listen deeper, to move with resilience, and to trust the process. Amapiano gave me a rhythm for perseverance: a reminder that even in quiet rooms we can find joy, connection, and purpose. It showed me that my hustle can be generous, my wins shared, and my fears turned into melodies that push me forward. With every spin, I choose hope over doubt, community over isolation, and a brighter future over yesterday’s shadows. If you’d like a different vibe or length, I can tailor it.

I love Amapiano because it’s more than just music—it’s a culture, a heartbeat, and a lifestyle. The deep log drums, soulful keys, and smooth rhythms speak to me in a way no other sound does. Amapiano carries the voice of the streets, the energy of the people, and the spirit of freedom. It unites us on the dance floor and tells stories that words alone can’t capture. As a young, inspiring artist, I see Amapiano as the perfect canvas to express myself. It allows me to blend passion with creativity, to take listeners on a journey of emotions—whether it’s joy, healing, or pure vibes. What excites me most is knowing that this genre, born right here in Africa, has become a global movement. I want to be part of that wave, to represent the culture authentically, and to inspire others to chase their dreams through music just as I’m chasing mine.

I recorded this mixtape as a tribute to everything DJ Mlusiq represents — the heartbeat of the streets, the voice of a generation, and the soul of Amapiano. This isn’t just about beats and basslines; it’s about honoring a sound that gave us a reason to feel again. In a world full of noise, Mlusiq’s music brought clarity — it made us dance through pain, smile through struggle, and celebrate even the smallest victories. This mixtape is my way of saying Thank you !! — to the artist who turned ordinary nights into unforgettable memories, who gave us rhythm when words weren’t enough. Every track is a reflection of the energy, passion, and magic that DJ Mlusiq brings to the genre. It's more than a mix — it's a love letter to the culture, and to the artist who helped shape it. Thank you
