  • 3543 - Mother And Child Reunion by Paul Simon

    Label: Columbia 45547
    Year: 1972
    Condition: M-
    Price: $14.00

Paul Simon was one of the first non-Reggae artists to flirt with the reggae sound, and this is a damned good experiment, if you ask me! I'm always shocked to hear the incredibly powerful Stereo mix that they pressed these 7-inch releases with: Loud is simply not sufficient to describe the enormity of what's in these little grooves. The mp3 snippet I've provided doesn't do it justice, but hopefully you'll get the idea. :-) Collector nerd alert: This is the original release on the red/orange Columbia label. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Columbia Records factory sleeve. It has very nearly Mint labels, and the audio sounds pristine Mint!

  • 3542 - Instant Karma (We All Shine On) by John Lennon

    Label: Apple 1818
    Year: 1970
    Condition: M-
    Price: $14.00

Here's a beautiful copy of John Lennon's third solo single, which, as a marvelous article in Wikipedia points out, was one of the fastest records ever to be written, recorded, pressed, and shipped to market -- reportedly in only 10 days. It's also one of Lennon's very best solo recordings, though it (and the two singles that preceded it) never appeared on a Lennon studio album (they did appear on a later compilation LP). The drumming is simply out of this world, and turns out to be by future Yes drummer Alan White. That's Billy Preston on the keyboards, and George Harrison on guitar. The flip is "Who Has Seen The Wind" by Yoko. I'm putting a snippet that contains some of the best drumming bits in the jukebox... just can't ever hear that break enough! Note: This copy comes in a vintage Apple Records factory sleeve. This copy's labels and audio are very close to Mint, and the vinyl looks untouched.

  • 3541 - They're Gonna Get You by Count Five

    Label: Double Shot 104
    Year: 1966
    Condition: M-
    Price: $18.00

This is one of the essential singles in the history of psychedelic rock. The flip is terrific too... I wonder how they got so paranoid? This is the first pressing, with the label name at the top of the label. Note: This beautiful copy has Near Mint labels. The vinyl (styrene) looks pretty scuffed up, grading only EX, but the grooves preserve undistorted sound that grades close to Mint. (This scan is a representative image from our archives.)

  • 3540 - Him Or Me - What's It Gonna Be? by Paul Revere & the Raiders

    Label: Columbia 44094
    Year: 1967
    Condition: M-
Last Price: $20.00. Not currently available for sale.

One of my personal favorite Raiders tracks... sadly, one you don't hear often enough. This copy comes in an original picture sleeve. Note: The 45 record itself has pristine Mint sound. The sleeve has notable top-edge wear on one side, with a series of tiny tears.

  • 3539 - Someone's Coming by Who

    Label: Decca 32362
    Year: 1968
    Condition: M-
    Price: $32.00

This is a particularly nice copy of this especially great Who single. Besides the classic A side that everyone knows and loves, you get a superfine, quite catchy Entwistle rocker that hardly anyone knows on the flip side. Check it out! Note: This copy comes in a vintage Decca Records factory sleeve. It has pristine Mint sound. (This scan is a representative image from our archives; this copy does not have a drillhole.)
