One of our hosts suggests that idea, and you’ll find out why! Best episode or not, it certainly rocked, what with a certain scene in Wynn Duffy’s trailer, Boyd Crowder’s brief stay at the hospital, and a whole lot of vintage Raylan Givens.

Things are heating up in Harlan County, as they are right here on Post Show Recaps with the latest episode of the JUSTIFIED podcast!
Josh Wigler (@roundhoward) and Antonio Mazzaro (@acmazzaro) dive deep into episode ten of the final season, titled “Trust,” and let’s just say that trust has been tested for several individuals. Will Ava remain loyal to Boyd? Will she return to Raylan? Or will she strike off on her own? Mrs. Crowder neé Randolph makes her choice and sticks to it in this episode, and it manifests in the form of a twist no one could’ve seen coming.
Meanwhile, the trust between several other colleagues gets strained: Wynn Duffy and Mike “Mikey” Cosmotopolis, for one, and Katherine Hale and Avery Markham for another. We also learn more about gunslinger Boon and his fascination with hats.

Josh Wigler (@roundhoward) and Antonio Mazzaro (@acmazzaro) team together to talk about season six episode six, titled “Alive Day.” It’s an interesting title, because — SPOILER ALERT — it just so happens to be Choo Choo’s dead day. Josh and Antonio pour one out for the unexpected breakout character of season six, talking about where everything went wrong for the big lug.
“Alive Day” moves several other pieces into interesting spots on the board, including a new nemesis for Boyd, new cracks in Avery Markham’s delicate operation, and a big bombshell of bad news for Ava Crowder. But it’s not an entirely neat package, either; for the first time in a very long time, Josh and Antonio have a bone or two to pick with JUSTIFIED.

Josh Wigler (@roundhoward) and Antonio Mazzaro (@acmazzaro) team together, Deputy U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens and Constable Bob Sweeney style, to talk about the latest episode of JUSTIFIED, called “Sounding.” In the episode, Ava Crowder finally takes matters into her own hands, forcing Raylan to call upon his old buddy Bob for help — and Bob isn’t the only familiar face to resurface, either.
While Raylan chases down Ava, Boyd chases down Ava’s uncle, a LOST figure in Harlan history, for help in the pursuit of Avery Markham’s money. Speaking of Markham, his goons are forced to take drastic measures when several land owners suddenly reject their advances, with horrible repercussions for at least one man.

Listen to the Podcast:
This week’s JUSTIFIED podcast is brought to you by LM Consolidated. Check your cell phones at the door, and be mindful of splinters!
Josh Wigler (@roundhoward) and Antonio Mazzaro (@acmazzaro) field the latest episode of the FX drama’s final season, “The Trash and the Snake.” Thank Art Mullen for the awesome title, as the retired U.S. Marshal cautions Raylan Givens about pursuing the Big Bad Wolf better known as cannabis kingpin Avery Markham. Avery’s designs on Harlan County come to light in the episode, and Raylan is fixing to stand in his way, even if it lands him in the weeds.
While Raylan sizes up his new nemesis, Ava Crowder meets a match of her own in Katherine Hale, the widow of the late, legendary Kentucky criminal Grady Hale. Her reasons for targeting Avery, the best lover she’s ever had, boil to the surface, as do some other interesting quirks — including her suspicion of Ava’s loyalty.
Elsewhere, Boyd Crowder and Wynn Duffy seek out a man with safe-cracking expertise, as they continue their effort to rob Avery Markham and Pizza Parlor of all their dough. See what I did there?

Listen to the Podcast:
Josh Wigler (@roundhoward) and Antonio Mazzaro (@acmazzaro) just spent an entire night drinking the good bourbon and wearing cheerleader uniforms, and the result is this week’s JUSTIFIED podcast!
This week, Josh and Antonio are talking about episode three of season six, “Noblesse Oblige.” The episode sees Raylan Givens and Rachel Brooks looking into Boyd Crowder’s explosives supply, with Raylan making some unique threats and learning a thing or two about fatherhood along the way. In Boyd’s world, the little Crowder that could meets Avery Markham, the big bad wolf with a bad opinion of bourbon. As Boyd meets his new match, Ava makes some choices in her conflicting loyalties to Raylan and Boyd, but the jury remains out on where she truly lies.
And that’s not even mentioning Wynn Duffy’s thong.

All aboard the Choo Choo train! Josh Wigler (@roundhoward) and Antonio Mazzaro (@acmazzaro) are back to dig into the CASH GAME at the heart of the second episode of JUSTIFIED season six.
In the episode, Raylan Givens follows a lead on the First River Bank robbery, resulting in an encounter with a massive man who calls himself Choo Choo. Meanwhile, Boyd Crowder struggles with what to do with the documents he’s stolen, and his continued strained relationship with Ava, who is struggling with demons of her own. The episode also gives a name to Garrett Dillahunt’s menacing real-estate hunter, and introduces us to a mustache-free Sam Eliot as a new threat named Avery. (Thankfully, someone else has picked up the mustache in Sam’s place.)
In their recap, Josh and Antonio run through the entire episode and also toss out some pet theories of their own, including what the arrival of Choo Choo could mean for Tim Gutterson, the lingering presence of Dewey Crowe’s necklace, and much more.

Listen to the Podcast:
Are you within 21 feet of this podcast? Good! Just watch out for holes.
Josh Wigler (@roundhoward) and Antonio Mazzaro (@acmazzaro) get together once again to discuss JUSTIFIED, the FX drama about Deputy U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens and his exploits through his Kentucky hometown of Harlan County. This time, Josh and Antonio are talking about season five, which sees professional doofus Dewey Crowe’s family moving into Harlan to cause all kinds of mischief. Meanwhile, Boyd and Ava Crowder’s relationship fractures due to a multitude of issues, including his failing business enterprises and her perilous prison sentence. Through it all, Raylan’s weaving in and out of the picture as he embarks on a new relationship, butts heads with his boss, and deals with some new daddy issues of his own.
Season five of JUSTIFIED is considered by many fans to be the weakest season but does it deserve that reputation? Josh and Antonio weigh in on that debate and much more, including what works (and, more specifically, what doesn’t) about Michael Rapaport’s turn as Daryl Crowe Jr., their take on Raylan and Art Mullen’s growing divide, the set-up for next season between Raylan and Boyd with Ava caught in the middle, some last predictions for the final season, and much more. (Oh, and there’s also that one thing Josh and Antonio don’t discuss. You know, that one time with the thing that totally didn’t happen? That thing.)
With the rewatch now finished, Josh and Antonio are shifting their attention to the final season of JUSTIFIED. Each week, they’ll recap the latest episode right here on Post Show Recaps. Listen to the Podcast:
Your eyes do not deceive you! This is no Decoy! The JUSTIFIED podcast is back, and it’s all about one man and one man only: Drew Thompson!
In today’s podcast, Josh Wigler (@roundhoward) and Antonio Mazzaro (@acmazzaro) break down the hunt for the legendary outlaw Drew Thompson, long presumed dead but learned to be alive and in hiding as season four of JUSTIFIED begins. Taking a break from the big-bad-of-the-season formula that worked so well in seasons two and three, the fourth round of JUSTIFIED is more of a whodunnit, as Deputy U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens races to find and arrest Drew Thompson before several other interested parties get to him first, including Raylan’s old friend turned nemesis Boyd Crowder, and vengeful mobster Theo Tonin, represented by foul-mouthed Nicky Augustine.
Josh and Antonio talk about JUSTIFIED shifting toward an overarching mystery for its fourth season, the continued descent into darkness for both Raylan and Boyd, the unexpected death of a pivotal character, the unexpected rise of U.S. Marshal Tim Gutterson, the first appearance of Patton Oswalt as Constable Bob, and an episode that just might be the very best JUSTIFIED episode of them all… among other topics.
Soon, Josh and Antonio will conclude their rewatch with a discussion about season five. The final season of JUSTIFIED premieres on January 20, and Josh and Antonio will continue to recap each and every episode.

In season three, Raylan meets two new nemeses: Robert Quarles, a Detroit mafia enforcer with a deadly trick up his sleeve, and Ellstin Limehouse, the butcher and banker who lords over Noble’s Holler. His old foes, including Boyd Crowder, aren’t making life easy on Raylan, either.

Season two sees the emergence of the Bennett clan, a prominent and powerful family in Harlan County headed up by marijuana mob boss matriarch Mags Bennett. Considered by many to be the strongest season of JUSTIFIED, season two certainly ups the ante in terms of its villain (played to Emmy-winning heights by Margo Martindale), its growth of characters like Boyd and Ava Crowder, and its continued free-fall into the morally murky waters of Harlan.

Josh Wigler (@roundhoward) and Antonio Mazzaro (@acmazzaro) will co-host weekly discussions about JUSTIFIED, beginning with a broad series overview, followed by a weekly rewatch of the five seasons, leading up to the sixth and final season premiering on January 20.
Find out all about the Crowders, the Crowes, and the other crooks kicking around Raylan’s world, and get in on the ground floor of one of the best TV shows you’re not watching. (Kudos if you’re already on the Good Ship JUSTIFIED; you’ll have fun here, too.)
Send your questions and feedback along to Josh and Antonio on Twitter, in the comments below, or by using the feedback form at https://postshowrecaps.com/feedback.
Get caught up on season one of JUSTIFIED in time for the next podcast, bowing on December 10.
