The Unsolved Double Murder at the Dolly Madison Bakery.
On September 4, 2002, in broad daylight at one of the busiest intersections in Great Bend, Kansas, two innocent women were brutally murdered inside a Dolly Madison Bakery outlet.
Mandi Alexander, a 24-year-old single mother on just her third day at a new job, full of hope and fresh starts.
Mary Drake, a 79-year-old beloved grandmother and lifelong resident, simply stopping by for a loaf of bread.
A man walked in, committed unimaginable violence, took almost nothing, and calmly walked out—seen by a witness.
Despite a detailed suspect description, a composite sketch, and a foreign male DNA profile developed in 2022, this shocking double homicide remains unsolved more than 23 years later.
Was it a botched robbery? A random act of rage? Or something more targeted?
Join me on Criminal Prints as we explore the lives lost, the evidence that could still break the case open, and why justice for Mandi and Mary is long overdue.

Nine-year-old Anthonette Cayedito disappears from her bed - no struggle, no forced entry, just gone. What unfolds is a nightmare of haunting clues: a frantic phone call a year later from a girl begging for rescue, cut short by a man's angry voice and a child's scream: a waitress in Nevada who believes she waited on a captive teenage Anthonette clutching her hand and slipping a desperate note; a mother whose stories shifted over time and whose chilling words to the FBI still echo; and a mysterious man who showered the little girl with gifts before vanishing himself. Almost 40 years later- with Anthonette turning 49 this Christmas-her sisters refuse to give up hope, and the case remains active. This is one of the most heartbreaking and perplexing child disappearances in America. What really happened to Anthonette Cayedito?
