Conversations with people of Garifuna origin about their lives and the Garifuna Language. Garifuna Onward (Gari-On) is an initiative started to promote and encourage more people to learn the Garifuna Language. In each episode we discuss topics such as the Growing up Garifuna, the Garifuna Language and play games such as Garifuna Say for those who understand Garifuna or Garifuna Word Match for those who do not understand Garifuna. Garifuna are a people of Carib and Arawak origins who were exiled from St. Vincent in the West Indies to Baliceaux. They moved in search of a better life.

She has worked on proposals for funding to support NGC initiatives such as the Cassava House located in Dangriga Town, Stann Creek District, Belize. She is a finance professional and was also an Accounting tutor at University of the West Indies (UWI) extension in Belize. Ms. Sandra is open to being a mentor. The group was founded by Mrs. Dorina Castillo and the late great Mrs. Margaret Castillo and is now coordinated by her daughter Mrs. Clarene Castillo-Alvarez. Mrs. Dorina Castillo plays a major role in exposing the children to local and international culture exchange opportunities.Izzy hails from Dangriga Town, Belize C.A.
